- Lou (6/5): - Could not find hotel because sign and hotel are not visible from road. Soap is too small. Pool was cold. Towels and shower were adequate. Bed was ok for one night. A/C was not cooling and ceiling fan needed cleaning, because my nose became congested, due to dust allergies.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Staff was friendly, but when we drove up to check in there were cops in the parking lot. People were in the pool the first night we were there until the weekend hours of the morning.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Outdated - The staff was friendly, but the hotel is definitely outdated. Check in time was at 2 p.m. and the rooms weren't ready until at least 30 minutes later, if not longer. The carpet was disgusting, but the restroom and counters were clean.
- Juan (2/5): Never again - We arrived and was checking and I had to give them my credit card and pay again because the person checking us in did not understand that we had already paid in advance. Later someone else voided the transection and credited my credit card; it think. I have not seen the credit on card but neither has the transection at the hotel appeared. We stayed for three days because we did not have a choice. First, we had gone to McAllen because of the hurricane that was heading toward our town. Second, we had paid in advance and could not get a refund. Third, we had a pet and because of the hurricane it was the only place we could find that would take our pet. For the three days we stayed the room was not cleaned once; we were only given towels and only if we asked for them. When asked if they would clean the room, the maid responded that she did not have time because she was the only one working. The room itself was not totally bad but I would not say it was good either. The Wi-Fi did not work even though they insisted it was my phone. We had three cell phones, none of them could pick up the Wi-Fi signal. If hotel.com is going to book this place for folks I would say you are going to loss credibility. I certainly will not use hotel.com again and would never recommend this hotel to anyone not even my pet.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Privacy - This place is away from other hotels, but close enough to get to other attractions. The only thing is the Wi-Fi is horrible. Other than that, it's relaxing and was quiet for the most part. Worth what you pay, but not top notch.

- Rick (6/5): Not as good as the picture. - After getting there and seeing this hotel I was disappointed in the area and overall look of the hotel, It was clean but old and south of where I felt I wanted to stay, so I went north closer to town and stayed at La Quinta Inn a few miles north. It had a better safer feel and was closer to the restaurants etc. The price was a great price but the La Quinta was new and more money but a much better feel for me. The other was close to where I wanted to stay but had an old look and feel to it. The picture on line looked good but the actual overall reality was not a comfortable feel for me.

- Nancy (2/5): You get what you pay for!!! - Horrible. Bed spread had holes on both beds. I understand it was a smoking room, but I don't need to be reminded by the holes in the bed. Curtains were ripped and what looked like gum stuck to them and some other mysterious looking stuff. Floor was sticky. AC took all night to cool off. Fridge looked like it was older than Jesus. Just horrible! But then again you get what you pay for. I do not recommend.

- Andres (8/5): Comfortable Stay - The Hotel all in all was ok. The Lady at the front desk didn't seem to understand English, but she was able to find someone who did, so that was helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the smell in the room. I asked for a non-smoking room so it wasn't the cigarette smoke smell. For the value of the stay it was decent and close to the hospital I went for. The stay was comfortable and very accessible. I would stay again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Affordable priced hotel near the airport - Service was great. The overall condition on the hotel is a lot old. Room smelt a little funny, not fresh smelling. We did stay in a non-smoking room. Affordable price near the airport, with good shuttle service.
