Donald (10/5): The place to stay when in the Berkshire's!! - This was our 3rd visit in 3 years and always around this time of year. The staff are amazing and the property is very well kept. It is the goto place when visiting the Berkshire's!!!!!! nothing!!
Morgan (8/5): Beautiful location, beautiful property - Had a great experience with the staff here—very, very friendly and accommodating. The of the mountains from the property was incredible. Clean room, decent bed. Not a huge fan of rugs in motel rooms. This has an area rug that I tried not to step on. We stayed in a bottom floor unit but the noise made by the upstairs guests just walking the room was very loud.

Victoria (9/5): Perfect night in the mountains - We stayed for one night. We used the fire pit to make smores and then relaxed in the hot tub and the sauna. The location was unbelievable with stunning, uninterrupted views for miles. We were lucky enough to catch the sunset and the sunrise and both were breathtaking. The place was clean and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. There was a small shop to purchase snacks but no other food available - we recieved a very helpful message about this the day before we arrived which reminded us to bring food and swimwear. Excellent customer service.

There is a lovely walk behind the property down a quiet road. The recent rennovation is wonderful. We enjoyed the mountain view and its a short trip to town. The only extra expense we had was a purchase of bottled water. I would suggest folks arrive with snacks or food. There is a fridge in the room and a TV if you want to watch a movie. Relaxing. A beautiful breeze in June. We would book there again. If you are looking for a restaurant/bar, or a pool. They don't have either of those things yet.

Jieun (5/5): not coming back - The facility has been recently remodeled, so there's nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness or appearance. The air was incredibly fresh, and the water felt so smooth when showering. It was amazing. It was the kind of soft water that makes it feel like the soap never completely rinses off, but in a good way. I usually suffer from allergies in my neighborhood, but since this place is up in the mountains, I didn’t experience any allergy symptoms at all. One thing to keep in mind is that there's no elevator. If you’re assigned to the second floor, you’ll need to carry all your luggage up the stairs. If you have a lot of bags, staying on the ground floor might be a better choice. Although the space is not large, I noticed two issues during my 2-night stay. First, there’s no on-site restaurant, so unless you go out to eat, you’ll likely bring food into the room. This seems to have contributed to a lingering, musty smell in the room. Even though I aired it out frequently during my stay, the odor didn’t go away. I'm usually not sensitive to smells, but this one was particularly unpleasant. Second, the evening staff was not very approachable. At first, she seemed polite when I asked a question, but as I asked a few more things to understand how things worked (since it was my first time), her attitude became noticeably colder. The atmosphere quickly turned uncomfortable. My advice is to keep interactions with her minimal, just say hello, pay, and sign whatever is needed. This lodge could have been an even better place, if it weren’t for the middle-aged woman with the short blonde hair. Had it not been for that experience, my stay would have felt a lot better. But unfortunately, I don't think I would return.

The staff was amazing--they set up the hot tub and sauna for us even while it was snowing!! What a unique experience we had, it was lovely. Also, the dog Jojo is a gentle lovebug. He was as great and friendly as the staff! Maybe the complementary towels and robes were a little bit scratchy, but not more than your standard hotel / motel experience. The lodge did provide plenty of towels though, which we appreciated. Also, be aware that the hot tub is not covered. It could be nice to have a small, covered shelf or something similar at the base to keep our belongings dry.
Megan (10/5): - I rarely take the time to review anywhere I’ve stayed, but this place has stolen my heart! Its absolutely breathtaking property is second only to the friendliness of the staff. We couldn’t get enough of the sauna and hot tub with a view of the mountains, as well ans the evening firepit surrounded by andirondak chairs. The rooms and building is well maintained seemingly brand new. One of very few places I would stay again over and over!

Overall, the place was clean except for a couple black hairs in the tub and floor of our bathroom, and we don't have black hair. The place is quiet and in a great location with a nice fire pit and view. Not much of a continental breakfast like advertised, or we just left before it was out for the guests (7:20 am).

Anukriti (10/5): Spectacular view and exceptional service make for a relaxing stay - The location and view are absolutely unbeatable. The lodge itself is exceptionally clean, and comfortable. Even though it was full, the refurbished construction made things quiet, and we never heard anyone’s tv or sounds from the other rooms (except for footsteps on the porch and voices briefly once in a while). The fire pits are a lovely addition. There are no walking trails from the property (though there are several within a short car ride)— not the fault of the property, just worth a mention regarding location.

I thought it would be desolate, as we were checking in late. But there were guests an dchildren outside and in the lobby. Festive and lively. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location. 24 hour check in. Comfortable bed, quiet room.

Gift shop stocked with delicious items. room hace microwave, frig and coffee maker. Coming back in September and cannot wait.
