• Moritz (1/5): Fatale Entscheidung auf dem Roadtrip - Das nötigste vorhanden Die Lage direkt am Flughafen ist bekannt, jedoch liegt das Motel unmittelbar unter dem Landeanflug. Die Lautstärke ist immens und geht bis in die Nacht. Die Türen sind nicht komplett dicht, sodass Kleintiere wie Käfer, Ameisen etc. In dem Zimmer sind. Die Sauberkeit ist dementsprechend eher mangelhaft als ausreichend. Preis/Leistung absolut überzogen. Wer nachts anreist und einen kurzen Moment, total übermüdet kurz einen Moment ruhen will, kann hier einkehren. Wir waren Drei Nächte hier und würden rückblickend nicht mal mehr kurz ruhen wollen.

• Sandy (9/5): Excellent and affordable place to stay overnight for long layover. - Super close to airport (we walked from where car rental shuttle dropped us off to get to hotel). Road was being fixed so no sidewalk access near the hotel.
• Stefanie H. (8/5): Nettes Motel - Das Zimmer war sauber und die Betten in Ordnung. Unkomplizierter Check-in mit nettem Mitarbeiter, Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, erreicht den Hafen und das Gaslamp Quarter in ca 30-40 min. Little Italy ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Für Aktivitäten mit dem Auto ist man sehr schnell auf der 5, somit alles gut erreichbar. Leider gab es nur Seifen, keine anderen Pflegeprodukte. Leider gibt es keine Mikrowelle oder Kaffeemaschine bzw. Föhn auf den Zimmern. Im Verhältnis zu anderen Hotels, die wir auf unserer großen USA Reise hatten, war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht gegeben. Die Flugzeuge sind laut (wir konnten trotzdem gut schlafen)

• steven (8/5): Your very close to Spanish Landing Park, which is right on the bay. - The place was clean, and the location was awesome. The desk clerk, April, was very patient and kind to us. There's a Hiton just down the block and they have a nice bar and restaurant. The only drawback would be that the motel is directly over the airport flight path, and that could rattle some customers. The planes seem really low when they descend over the motel. We didn't mind because we were out during the day.

• Matthew (6/5): I mean it was fine it was one of the cheaper spots so you get what you pay for - I mean it is what it is it’s a motel 6. On booking.com it said you can leave your pets in the room by themselves but just not for too long. When I got there the staff was like OHH NOO you cannot leave your dog in the room by themselves for ANY amount of time so I had to every single time I just walked out of the room for a minute had to bring my dog it was frustrating. Also there were multiple burn holes in the blankets and the sink in the bathroom smelled like sewage it was really gross.

• Joel (9/5): Great experience enjoyed the view of the planes. - I liked that it was not too far from downtown SD, the trolley station was nearby and parking was free! The parking lot was very small and the interior of the rooms needed a bit of maintenance work. They were clean, but just had visible cracks and paint peeling.

• Mariana (7/5): Buena ubicación, muy ruidoso - Muy cerca del aeropuerto y de downtown. Se escucha mucho el ruido de los aviones pero eso es lógico ya que es un hotel muy cercano al aeropuerto; sin embargo, las paredes son muy delgadas y se escucha mucho ruido de las demás habitaciones, casi no pudimos dormir por eso.

• Kouzelna (10/5): Perfect Location + Value. Great staff. Free On-Site Parking. - Best value in the city, quick and helpful staff. Check in was super fast. Rooms are basic but comfortable, and include refrigerator. Bathroom was super clean, beds large and comfy, mattresses good quality and in good condition. Location is unbeatable: walking distance to Little Italy, the harbor, public transpo, etc. Right around the corner is a gas station + mini mart, the best brewery in the city Ballast Point, and several nice breakfast places, Waterfront being the very best. Uber service is instantaneous, costs about $15 - 20 to anywhere in the city. And the best part... free parking! On-site! Parking is atrocious and expensive throughout the city, so this perk and the cool low-key staff makes this Motel 6 our very favorite. This is very close to the airport, and is in the direct flight path of planes flying overhead every 5 minutes 24/7 as is the whole area. We cranked up the AC fan and it didn't bother us. Highway was also close but we didn't hear it from the room. A painting or two on the wall would do wonders for the otherwise generic rooms.

• Phillips (10/5): Thanks for taking great care of us. - We were unexpectedly stck in San Diego on a layover when our connecting flight was canceled and continued to early the next day. We found this for a great price, very near the airport. Staff were friendly kind and very helpful. They arranged for a cab in the wee hours, and woke us with a friendly call. As three elderly disabled women traveling together, we felt very safe in this accommodation. Thank you Not applicable

It’s very ran down and they have mold growing from their refrigerator and bathroom corners. Staff was horrible especially JOE.. The staff was very rude. JOE helped us when we first got there and he was completely disrespectful, this man shouldn’t be allowed to work in customer service. He’s ran down like the building. He gave us a room with men on top working on the roof. They were using heavy machinery and mind you they were there all day and all week. He refused to move us rooms at first. Then when he did finally move us, he gave us a room with mold and that smelled really bad. I had to call booking because Joe was so disrespectful and didn’t want to move us to a clean room on the other side where there was nobody working on the roof. It makes logical sense just to be amazing to your customers, but not for Joe. He is a very disrupted man that has no skills and customer service. The property was absolutely disgusting and I never write reviews. I would like to warn everyone because it’s not fair that the truth is not out there about this place. If I could add more pictures I would, but it only lets me add up to 4.

There was a night a man was outside at the hotel yelling and banging on a door in the middle of the night.

• Hansen (10/5): Was a blessing at the end of a very frustrating and exhausting day. - We were in a bind when my son, who was coming home from college for Christmas, had a canceled flight in the middle of the night. Chris was cheerful and helpful for this concerned mom and my alone and frustrated son. No complaints
