On est loin des hôtels luxe mais l'endroit est d'une zénitude incroyable. les moustiques ont énormément apprécié ma peau LOL Prévoyez de suite une belle protection. L'île est "native". Le petit déjeuner pourrait être plus solide.

I love the beach, very fine sand, sometimes there are small fishes, baby squid, and a lot of soft waves! At night, you can see a lot of stars! The weather was great too when we visited. Love everything!

Staff were extremely friendly and gave us a free upgrade on our room, which made everything so muxh more better! Original room was a little sad, but we got an upgrade to a villa so cant complain.

The room was quite outdated; however, the conditions were not critical. While at the beach, we were badly bitten by sand flies (nik-niks), so we strongly recommend using insect repellent at all times.

- Marilyn (8/5): It was a fantastic stay, but mostly because of the beach and nearby forest for birding. - The setting is incredible! The beach is perfect and clean, and the staff at the beach bar were so sweet and accommodating. They kindly turned off the annoying bright light so we could relax in the lounge chairs and enjoy the stars. The wait staff also were wonderful. The grounds are well manicured with bird friendly flowering trees and bushes. When we first checked in, we were given a room in the main building that was definitely not what I had paid for. After I asked, they moved us to a bungalow where the manager had been staying. It was much better, but smelled like cigarette smoke and we could hear music playing all day. Several times I had to remind the staff to clean the room and put in clean towels, glasses, and water. Honestly, the room did not match the very expensive price I paid. Plus, one day the pool closed for entire day until the next morning!! What?? I have never been to a resort where they simply close the pool for a whole day of cleaning which could be done in a few hours. I felt cheated because swimming is important to me and I paid for the pool as for all else. Also, the breakfast menu is limited. For this price, there should be more selection and variety. And the fruit was limited.
- Andreea (10/5): Reviewing this place again after 5 years - I couldn't say this more...it's the people! The amazing people who make this place feel incredible. This might be one of the best stay in all Palawan. The location, the beach, the garden, the design...everything is just wonderful. We've had an upgrade to a villa because the main building (and not only) was under renovation and it was just great. You have everything you need and more. Always water at the door for washing your sandy feet, always people willing to help you with everything you need. We booked an island hopping tour and they managed everything untill the last detail...transportation, boat, return to the hotel, clean towels, bug repellent and they make their own remedy for after bites. We left with gifts, a bug repellent and a mixture for itch relief. We asked for a late check out and they did everything they could to accommodate us. We didn't want to leave. The people at the restaurant, reception, housekeeping, Miss Mariel who is in charge of the agency, the manager of the hotel...we loved everything about our stay because of you! Thank you is just not enough! ❤️ The food. I remember being better 5 years ago.

- Lyne (8/5): Exceptional Service, Memorable Stay at San Vicente - We had an amazing stay at Club Agutaya, thanks to the incredibly helpful staff and their attention to detail. Despite the bad weather during our visit to San Vicente, they went above and beyond to ensure we still enjoyed our time. They made our stay memorable. There were occasional water and electricity cuts, but these were understandable given the weather conditions when we visited. Also, there were sand flies (niknik) as the beach remains relatively untouched and natural. Fortunately, the hotel provides their own blend of citronella oil to help ward them off and reminds guests to use it before heading to the beach.

- Thomas (7/5): Great rustic family run hotel on an amazing, huge and empty beach - We liked the fact it’s on Long Beach. Their swimming pool is huge and then of course the beach is amazing. We were the only ones on it for miles. We felt like we were on a deserted island. It was really amazing experience. It was great that they had some body boards that we could use at no additional cost as that was brilliant fun for adults and the kids! The food was also good. We kept it to Filipino dishes as we are so remote we just wanted to eat what he locals do. The hotel is rustic but the rooms are large and beds comfortable. We liked it all. San Vincent is a long way off the beaten track, so getting there does involve quite a drive. But the local airport will be complete in a year so that will negate those issues

- Marvin (4/5): It feels like the resort couldn’t really recover from the pandemic. - The beach was nice and the restaurant was surprisingly good! The architecture of the lobby and few details in general was quite nice The whole place needs a general maintenance, I guess it was supposed to be a great resort. The house facade facing the beach was decorated with bird sh**t and cobwebs. Also the cushions for the beach beds had bird sh**t. It would have a lot of potential to be a great resort. I feel sorry for the nice staff and that they were kinda unmanaged.

Menu at Cafe Lily are delectable and of adequate serving size. The beachfront and mezmerizing sunset comes as a bonus and worth's every Niknik bites. Plus, I especially love the thoughtful gesture of providing insect repellant oil and post-bites ointment to the Guest. None

Hammocks and lounge chairs by the beach Long walk to beach. It was difficult for our elderly mother. Showers in the main house did not have hot water. Pitcher for water was given but not filled for the guests . We had to bring to restaurant daily to fill.
- Ansis (8/5): Far from everything, but if that's what you need - it's perfect. The beach is the gem. - The beach is one... sorry is THE ONE. Long, clean, deserted - amazing. Staff is kind. This hotel is like oasis in jungle and this is a nice beach hotel. As soon you walk some 150m from your room to hotel beach and lay down on beach sun lounger, there are already towel ready for you and staff brings complimentary carafe with drinkable water. It's Philippines they will go extra mile for your comfort - nice attitude. The hotel has decent restaurant and even a small bar area and billiard table. Good cocktails. The pool is huge, but something is off with this - there is no shallow pool area for kids. It's quite a deep. There is some kind of pool bar structure, but it has never worked and never will - it's a way too high to comfortably enjoy the imaginary drinks. And pool location - if the pool would be built closer to the beach (there is plenty of land for this) it would be "golden". The bar lounge area are comfy, but there were times when bartender just wanted to be a DJ and played 20 years old euro techno music :) It was loud and we left pretty soon. It just do not match with this tranquil beach hotel atmosphere. The rooms are little bit outdated and the double sided tape is not the right way to fix that. Expect that hotel location is quite a remote and if your are staying longer than 3 nights it can get boring, as nearby restaurants are nothing special either.
- ANTHONY JACQUES (6/5): - Arrivati con una bella accoglienza, ti danno anche un olio home made naturale(adatto anche ai piu piccoli) x mosche della sabbia (mai vista una). Ci hanno dato la camera sbagliata e se non fosse x le nostre lamentele (perche sporca , e con bozzi di insetti), non ci avrebbero detto nulla, ma ci hanno subito accontentato chiedendoci scusa e ci hanno fatto vedere la camera che avevamo prenotato, e per scusarsi ci hanno fatto alloggiare in villa. Molto meglio bella ed accogliente. E da dire pero che le rifiniture di tutto il resort sono fatte proprio male e non tanto ben curate. Il servizio è ottimo, veloci e disponibili. Il cibo é molto buono (prezzo altro confronto lo standard del posto). Al chek in ti avvisano che ad una certa ora nella notte buttano insetticida per zanzare e altri insetti e ti consigliano di non uscire dall allaggio. Ma penso che questa cosa che buttano si stagna nella piscina e nei vestiti che si lasciano fuori, in piscina ce una patina oleosa e nera su tutto il bordo piscina e sui gonfiabili che sono dentro, e i costumi si impregnano di colore sporco. La spiaggia è bellissima abbastanza ben tenuta, si puo mangaire e bere , secondo me pochi lettini (12) se non si va per tempo si rischia di state per terra. Kinds frendly, giochi da spiaggia, seggiolone e stoviglie al ristornate. Tutti SUPER gentili
- Barbara (7/5): Great staff and good food in the heart Long Beach - Staff were amazingly friendly and accommodating. Our room had a few issues that we thought were fairly minor, but they insisted to upgrade us to a nicer room, which was an unexpected surprise. The location is in the middle of Long Beach so it’s not far to get by tricycle or motorcycle to the town proper for meals or to the beaches on the other side. The food was quite good, slightly more expensive than in the town proper though. Very nice, big pool. The rooms and bathrooms are getting a bit tired. Housekeeping could be more on point. It would be helpful if bottled water were provided daily. They gave us a pitcher of water at the start of our trip and it was never replenished.

- Piotr (10/5): Lovely resort to spend a few days in - with just one caveat - It's a lovely resort with comfortable rooms & villas, direct access to the beachfront and an on-site restaurant. The staff were extremely polite and extremely helpful with every request I had. During my stay some refurbishment works were being done to the main building, so first I got a free upgrade to a room with a better view and after 3 days to a lovely deluxe villa (which is significantly more expensive). Both the room and the villa were great. The beachfront is literally 30 seconds walk from the resort and it's the emptiest beach I've seen in my life. It's a gorgeous white sand stretch with sunbeds and umbrellas and (usually) no soul in sight. You feel like you're on your own private beach most of the time. Note that I apparently stayed during quiet days - on some of them I was literally the only guest, which made me feel a bit awkward at times, but they did expect a large group coming the day after my departure, so your mileage may vary. The food in the restaurant was mostly great - all freshly made (the sisig pizza was the winner for me, what a combination!). I found the food prices were mostly reasonable and portion sizes adequate. I only tried one cocktail - Oh Happy Day - and it was great. Very refreshing and tasty, even for somebody who doesn't like gin. I wish I asked for the recipe! Here's the caveat. There was nothing wrong with the resort itself, but be aware that Club Agutaya is in a really remote location. If you're looking for nightlife and such, you're in the wrong place, but it's great if you're looking for an escape from a noisy city. There's almost nothing at walking distance - except for a very basic village convenience shop. The nearest town is San Vincente a few kilometres away, and you can rent a bike or scooter to get there (I thought the rental prices were a bit high), but forget going for example to Port Barton - it's only 20km away in a straight line but there's no direct road, so the drive one way would be over 2 hours. If I were to nitpick, one more thing I wasn't impressed by was the Halo Halo they served in the restaurant. Definitely not the best one I've had. But all the other food I tried was great.

- James (7/5): Beautiful location but overpriced - Amazing location on Long Beach. Seems to be the only resort on the beach so it was lovely and quiet! The added of sun loungers on the beach was great. On the whole, very friendly staff, especially Mark the restaurant supervisor who was brilliant. Any issues we had during our stay were promptly dealt with by staff. Wifi was very good. We felt that the resort was somewhat rundown (could do with a lick of paint and just a general clean/repair). We felt that the service wasn’t always consistent e.g some days the breakfast had fruit, other days it didn’t. Because of the above points, it felt overpriced vs other accommodation in Palawan. Also, if you need onward travel, we would suggest you avoid using the hotel. We booked our shared van transfer to Puerto Princesa through Ben and what should have been a three hour journey was five hours (the drivers spent a lot of time seemingly doing their own deliveries and stopping for cigarette breaks). Certainly not consistent with other shared van transfers that we have experienced in the Philippines. Whilst free drinking water was provided at the resort, the resort would benefit from drinking water dispensers that could be used by the guests (to avoid continually having to ask staff for water)
- Jan (10/5): Best place to stay in while in San Vicente - The staff were amazing! They'll go the extra mile to help you in everything. I also like how they organized our tour to bato ni ningning. It's a bit dark. But I think that was just the over-all vibe.

- Vivian (9/5): Very nice and wonderful stay - The staff were very nice and helpful. When we arrived, the staff were at the front to welcome us, when we left, they were at the entrance to say goodbye. That was a very warm and nice gesture. The hotel also allowed us to wash up in our room after we checked out because there wasn't a booking for the room the next day. The interior design was very nice, a lot of wood was used which have us the feeling like we are back with nature. The location was perfect, right along Long Beach. Just a suggestion, offering a stand-up paddleboard for guests at the beach would be nice

- Vanessa (5/5): Worst communication, poor maintenance state - The place is HUGE, the room spacious and clean (cockroaches are none the less common in tropical surroundings). The bathroom was extraordinary, the bed comfy, I liked the workplace, terrace and couch. WiFi works brilliantly! The staff was always very friendly and my not as-hoc repairable toilet flush resulted in a room change. Free water refill and nice breakfast, though the portions are rather small. I was given Citronella because Long Beach obviously has Sand Flies. I didn‘t encounter them (though I used my own DEET 50% spray to go for a walk at the beach). The surrounding neighborhood is very quiet, Long Beach quite empty and beautiful. After a trip to the subterranean river couldn’t be organized without a 7 hour one way van trip, I was able to cancel the last night and was refunded, which I appreciated. First, the communication was the worst I ever encountered in 9 Months and 23 countries of travel. Absolutely no reaction to any messages or email in advance regarding transfer, though they offer „airport transfer“. After inquiring about a day trip to the subterranean river, I was told at least four times over two days span that they would get back to me, which never happened. I walked up to the front desk several times, only to be told that I shouldn‘t (need not) do that. But I would never have known the results of my inquiry otherwise. The pool was closed 2 days of my 4 day stay because of major cleaning, unfortunately the brackish green water was not very appealing afterward anyhow. After changing the room (the toilet flush in the first room couldn‘t be repaired) I got a different room, where the flooring was completely ruined by a water influx some time in the past (big gaps between the floor boards), but at least that makes no strange sounds in the middle of the night. On my last day, someone started maintenance or something the like at 6 in the morning by hammering loudly on something. I appreciated the opportunity to cut my stay short. All in all the condition of the place makes it rather overpriced in my opinion.

We received a room upgrade for free because there were few guests in the hotel, which is another plus! The hotel prepared us sandwiches for the trip which was a pleasant surprise. And the sandwiches were very tasty.

- Bernandita (10/5): - POSITIVE: As soon as we entered the Lobby, we were greated with fresh scent face towels to cool us down, and fresh Pandan drink. Thanks to all the staff...they made us very comfortable. We asked to upgrade our room to villa, and we are lucky to have one available. We even watched the baby turtles released that evening...thanks to Club Agutaya Resort, I can check one off my bucket list. This resort is also a Turtles Conservation. The resort is beautiful and peaceful...my first morning in Club Agutaya, I woke up after 6 in the morning compared to 4 in the morning I normally wake up. If you like the sounds of the birds and the ocean and most important...quitenness, this is the place for you. Food here...is delicious. For sure we are coming back to stay in Club Agutaya. NEGATIVE: I can think only one. Smoking is still allowed in designated areas. Despite they are designated areas, I can still smell the smoke and with my asthma, I tried to stay as far away as possible.

- V F (10/5): Boracay a long,long,long time ago - Stayed there with whole family during Holy Week. Sand very fine and powdery (extra slippers and aqua shoes I brought of no use there). Except for the guests and a few friendly locals, beach practically empty. At times you have the whole beach all for yourself. It's like going to the middle of Station 2 and asking your friendly genie to remove everything (people and all structures) from the beach!! Also good restaurant food, very fresh. Manager very hands-on.

La piscine à débordement de couleur vert foncée est immense, la salle dédiée à la restauration est de très bon gout (immense bungalow)... tout comme les plats proposés! La chambre est vraiment grande (je conseille la vue sur la mer). Enfin, et surtout: le personnel: nous n'avons jamais rencontré de personnes si gentilles, souriantes, aimables et serviables. - Verified traveler (4/5): 改善点は多いが、自然が豊かで、ホテルオーナーもスタッフも気さくで、フィリピンの家庭的なリゾート - 良い点：①あまり開拓されていない地域であるため自然がそのまま残っていて都会から離れてすごしたい方には非常に向いている、②砂浜が白くきれいである、③フィリピン料理であるチキンアドボとサンビセンテスープはおいしい、④オーナーやスタッフは、非常に気さくで、ホテル自体は家庭的な雰囲気。他のお客さんとのコミュニケーションも自然にとれる。 改善が必要な点：①ホテルのHPに掲載している固定電話は通じない、メールのレスが遅い。（ホテルに連絡したいかたは、HPのモバイルの番号に連絡したほうが良い）②空港（PuertoPricensa)から車で約4時間かかるが、送迎サービスはない（ホテルでの無料送迎サービスはない/使用できない）。車をチャーターした場合、車のサイズにもよるが片道7000ペソ（現時点レートで約18200円）かかる。③シャワーのお湯は、ほとんどでない。ホテルのシステム上、ソーラー発電を使用した給湯を採用しているようだが、滞在中は、水しかでなかった。④朝食メニューは、原則、パンとチーズ、ハムのみ。昼食等もメニューのバリエーションは少ない。⑤Wifiは備えているが、ほとんど使用できない。モバイルの3G回線のほうが早い（インターネットはほとんど使用できないと考えておいたほうが良い） 注意点：時期にもよると思うが、滞在中は、ビーチに大量の蚊が発生していて、長時間ビーチサイドにいることが難しい（虫除けスプレーなどを準備しておいたほうが良い）
