• Stefan (10/5): Anlage toll, Zimmer toll. - Die Anlage ist wunderschön. Ein kleines Idyll Pool finde ich persönlich zu klein für solch eine Anlage, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Ich persönlich finde den Preis zu hoch, habe aber gelernt, dass es nicht so einfach ist, für deutlich weniger Geld etwas gutes in Harare zu finden.

• Arthur (10/5): Pricey but incredible stay at Amanzi worth every penny - Breakfast was incredible , the views were unmatched in Harare and the general service was top notch. You wouldn’t expect such a magnificent chalet experience in a city that sort of thing is normally reserved for luxury lodges on safari b ur the good folk at Amanzi have pulled it off. The staff are outstanding as well and respond extremely promptly to any queries. Finally the rooms themselves and the bathrooms in particular are unmatched in Harare The only two problems were electricity issues due to load shedding in Harare. The generators on site were turned off at midnight which meant total darkness till 5 that wasn’t the greatest.

• Lorraine (10/5): Beautiful and quiet spot, perfect for solo stays. - Thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my stay. Got a room upgrade to the Morrocco suite and made the most of the outdoor shower. The staff, the food and drinks were absolutely amazing. I am certainly looking forward to my next visit. Nothing at all.

• Dave (10/5): An African garden oasis - Amanzi is a beautiful peaceful oasis in the chaos of Harare. Stylish rooms set in a lovely well tended garden. The staff are friendly, offering service that is second to none, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is first class with a wide selection of delicious meals. To cap it off all of this is available at very affordable rates.

• Beatrice (10/5): What a piece of heaven they have created in this space. - BEAUTIFUL location, amazing staff, clean, well organized, good value for money, quiet, great food. There are neighbors to a property who has dogs and they bark a lot at night so it did keep me up one night.

The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly The rooms, especially the bathroom seem to not be cleaned very well. There was a funny smell coming from the bathroom

My laundry gets done and ironed on the same day with relatively and reasonably price! I would recommend this place to my friends and family! It was his first time in Zimbabwe from US. - I invited my family for dinner, but it would have been nice if we had been told ahead of time that kids under the age of 12 were not permitted. I respect the resort's policy, obviously it's for a reason, nevertheless this vital information prevents unnecessary inconveniences. Thanks for your consideration.

• Angela (10/5): One of the best lodges I’ve stayed in! - I absolutely loved everything about the property. Great service, great food, great greenery, and amazing decor. The value for money was absolutely superb! I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone staying in Harare. Nothing to fault!

• Anna (5/5): Disappointing stay - The property is set in a nice, lush garden. It is tastefully decorated. The rooms are quite spacious with nice African decor. We stayed in the hotel for one night on a long layover before our flight home. I chose this hotel specifically as the stay coincided with my birthday and I hoped for a nice day in this beautiful property. Unfortunately it turned out a disappointing stay. The property is set in a nice, lush garden. It is tastefully decorated. The rooms are quite spacious with nice African decor. It all sounds good, but: 1. In my booking form I indicated that it's my birthday and I would like to get a nice room. We got one of the worse rooms in the complex (while the hotel was not full at all) - cold, dark, at the outskirts of the complex 2. the staff was friendly and well trained but it was surprisingly difficult to get things done as they did not seem to be helpful at all. We asked for help in sightseeing arrangements in Harare and had to follow up a couple of times to actually get something organized. There was very little proactivity to help us in our arrangements and ensure we have a good time in the city and we were left to our own research and ideas to plan what we can do in Harare. 3. The onsite restaurant has a questionable value for money. Again, the place is beautifully decorated, the staff is professional but...the food was nothing special for the price quoted. During the dinner, my husband proactively stated that it's my birthday, hoping for some minimal nice gesture from the staff. Nothing. We ordered our food, ate, paid the bill. Overall I'm very disappointed and will have pretty poor memories about my birthday stay in this hotel. Very poor experience and very poor value for money.

I had a spa treatment from Melody. She was amazing. I highly recommend booking a spa treatment. Some of the wall in the bathroom was peeling. It could do with a small makeover. Plus the cushions on the bed smelt of cigarettes.
