• Joseph (10/5): - When we arrived, we were informed that we were being upgraded from a standard room to an apartment The apartment was truly unbelievable. Huge rooms, beautiful furniture, high ceilings, beautiful bathrooms, etc. And all in a perfect location, midway up the Spanish Steps. I only wish we had more time to enjoy the terrace. Everything was great. Nothing not to like.

• Orhun (3/5): Worst place i have ever stayed in my life and when combined with the price that i paid I DONT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE - Location was one of the best anyone can find in Rome, most of the places are walking distance. I dont even know where to start, we picked junior suite for a better accommodation there was nothing suite about it. First we thought they gave us a wrong room, than i realised they added the photos of the room they gave us after some good photos of a different room. The breakfast was awful, the bathroom was the tiniest i have ever seen in my life, a moderate sized human can hardly close the doors of the shower when inside, the room was moderatly clean, badly designed, there was a door connecting to another room which they hardly did anything to block noise, there are many many more, I DONT RECOMMEND HERE TO ANYONE.

La nostra camera presso la Royal Suite Trinità dei Monti era spaziosa, con un letto comodissimo e un balconcino affacciato direttamente sulla celebre scalinata: un panorama da cinque stelle lusso. Servizio impeccabile da parte di tutto lo staff. Una nota di merito speciale va al giovane concierge Sebastian per la sua squisita disponibilità nel permetterci di godere del roof garden e del deposito bagagli anche dopo il check-out. Posizione imbattibile, probabilmente la migliore per vivere il centro di Roma. Torneremo sicuramente! Nulla

• Peter Rooney (9/5): - The location was excellent. There's a private entrance on the Spanish Steps themselves! The room was charming. The staff were all super lovely. It was a little pricey, but for the convenience and the romance of the location, you can easily overlook that. It's only a few minutes walk to the Spagna Metro, and the taxi rank is only a minute or so to the left of the front door. We stayed in the Junior Suite - the only thing was the water temperature in the shower. It just kept running cold. We had staff in trying to fix it via the tank a couple of times. The best knacky fix we could find was to set the tap at some way between central and left, then run the bath tap until it heats up, switch it to the shower switch instead, and you get 90 seconds - 2 minutes of hot water, then have to repeat the process.

It was in a great place to people watch!! Didn’t provide the usual tea/coffee/milk which I like when staying in hotels. Although receptionists tried to accommodate us and that was appreciated . Also, be prepared to climb those steps a lot!!

• ΑΡΙΣΤΕΙΔΗΣ (7/5): - η τοποθεσία ήταν πολύ καλή, πολύ κεντρικά στην Piazza di Spagna, είσοδος και με ασανσέρ από το κάτω μέρος του κτιρίου! το προσωπικό πάντα με χαμόγελο και πρόθυμο να βοηθήσει, η καθαριότητα πολύ καλή. Price for value όχι τόσο καλή το πρωινό δεν ήταν καθόλου καλό. Το κατάλυμα συνεργάζεται με ένα καφέ / εστιατόριο απέναντι από το κατάλυμα το οποίο είναι πολύ κοντά και πολύ εύκολα να πάρεις το πρωινό σου εκεί. Το μόνο πρόβλημα ότι το πρωινό θα μπορούσε να ήταν πολύ καλύτερο δεδομένου του κόστους του δωματίου. Γενικότερα για το δωμάτιο Price for value όχι τόσο καλή

La struttura e lo staff sono stati perfetti, l'unica cosa, che è più un consiglio, è che risulta un pò scomodo l'accesso con passeggini, quindi da valutare bene se si viaggia con 1 o più bimbi piccoli.

• Anas (9/5): - The staff were kind, helpful, and responsive to every question. The room looked newly renovated and clean. The location is the best thing about the hotel — right next to the Spanish Steps, with many delicious and famous restaurants nearby. The prices were very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area, even though I booked on the same day. I highly recommend it. The sound insulation was weak, and we could clearly hear people passing by next to our room. And the breakfast was not good.
• Jelena (8/5): - The location is simply unbeatable - right in the middle of Spanish steps. Walking up in the heart of such an iconic spot was an experience we’ll never forget. The hotels front desk staff were kind. We booked a deluxe double room with a balcony. We expected an actual balcony where we could sit or have a cigarette. However, the “balcony “ was only a few centimetres wide- so small that you can’t step onto it at all. Another major downside was the breakfast. It’s served in a nearby cafe and unfortunately it was The options were exactly the same every day. There was no cheese, cold cuts, salad or any real choice. Definitely we do not recommend the breakfast at all.

• Sarah (8/5): Top location - The location of this hotel is unbelievable. You are literally ON the Spanish Steps, the whole Spagna area is great to visit, very safe and full of bars, restaurants and shops around the piazza and on Via del Corso. You can walk to most major sights (10 minutes gentle walk to Trevi and Pantheon). The Vatican is walkable, and also only 3 stops on the metro. There's also a taxi rank at the edge of the piazza. The staff at the hotel are fabulous, so kind and helpful. Facilities are good, comfortable bed and a robe! Hairdryer was great quality, which I appreciated. They don't really make enough of the terrace, given its location. Be aware that the Spanish Steps is busy and noisy all day and all night. The soundproofing in the rooms is not really good enough. Some areas of the rooms are looking a bit worn and need some attention.
• Luigi (2/5): 480 euros a night for a fake suite that had single star bathroom and no proper door... NEVER AGAIN - very good location, even if entrance address was not clear we took two suites (474 euros/night), that shared a palier; one suite's bathroom was the size of a cupboard!! I (normal Italian guy, 1.75m-70kg) didn't fit inside the shower!! there was no space/ surface for placing any toiletries (the towels were all packed under the sink! The toilet paper was ALSO under the sink, as there was no space for a dispenser!! we asked the staff to integrate the two "suites" in one, as they shared a private palier, and the problem suite had a joke sliding door, with a key that could be opened with a fork, so we may share the good bathroom with our son; they refused as "they needed access"; the sliding door couldn't close totally, during the night, there was always light from the palier coming in!!

• Stephanie (6/5): A bit odd but mostly comfortable. - Air conditioning worked. Paint in the room chipped in many places. No hot water in the morning for a shower. Cars cannot come to the door so you need to be able to walk to taxi stand. Quite noisy in the evening at the Spanish steps. Decor is quite odd and very dated. Hard to find because it is an upper floor in what looks like an office building so you have to look for a little plaque on the side of the door — it doesn’t look like a hotel. They will recommend the restaurant across the street which is not very good.
• Linda (6/5): - This hotel was a splurge for us and we booked it for the location and hopes to experience a true Italian vibe for our 30th anniversary. While the hotel location was excellent (we overlooked the Spanish steps), the staff was not friendly, we were not allowed to bring any outside wine to celebrate our 30th anniversary on the terrace in our room, and the wifi was terrible. The shower leaked all over the floor as the glass doors didn’t seal properly. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

• Antonia (6/5): - We would normally rate 5*, as this is our second time at this hotel. We love it there. This time unfortunately was not as perfect…we had a terrible send off. We checked out early morning and went down to wait for our car pickup to the airport, which was scheduled for 7:30. Once we went downstairs, we realized we could use the breakfast coupons we had initially refused ( we were told breakfast opened at 7:30), because the restaurant was indeed open as of 7:00. We rang and rang and rang the bell for 20 minutes to be allowed upstairs, and there was no answer. We then called and there was still no answer…and there was no driver to pick us up either ! We then started to panic a bit, so we walked to the close by taxi stand and luckily there were a few taxis ready to go. We left , and while driving to the airport, received a call from the initial driver telling us he had arrived to pick us up. He told us that he was ordered to come for 7:45, and not 7:30. We explained what we had done, for fear of being forgotten . We then received a call from the hotel, wondering why they had missed a call from us. They claimed to have never heard the bell ring, nor the phone all. Very very very disappointing send off…. Especially from à hotel that cost us 1500$ CDN for 2 nights.

• Stefan (10/5): - Für einen Aufenthalt in Rom gibt es aus meiner Sicht kein Hotel mit einer besseren Lage. Unser Balkon war keine 3 m entfernt von der spanischen Treppe. Der Blick auf die spanische Treppe morgens beim Kaffee auf dem Balkon ist unbeschreiblich. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und stehen immer zur Verfügung. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Grazie Mille
