Excellent breakfast and first class service. A real “gem” in a great location. Would have liked a shower attachment on the taps of the bath for ease of hair washing purposes.

- Andrea (9/5): Superb - The rooms looked nice online but are even better in person - very characterful and our suite was very spacious. The history of the house and area is fascinating. We loved the local village also.
- Muller (10/5): Wonderful, historic, quiet getaway. Absolutely perfect. I hope to visit again. - Location was perfect, close enough to the main road but quiet and in the country. The room and adjoining bathroom were very large and comfortable, with really good facilities. Breakfast was incredible - I could have sat there all morning eating! Homemade fruit compotes, fresh eggs from their chickens, a taste of Scotland with their tatties... it was all delicious. The owners were so friendly and engaging too. I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

We stayed in the Aragorn suite with its four poster bed and roll top bath which made it perfect for our romantic stay. The suite had everything we needed for our comfort.
The homemade breakfast was delicious.
Highly recommended.
- John (10/5): Great place to stay to get away from busy everyday life. - My second visit to Walford Court. This is a brilliant place to stay when visiting North Herefordshire.
A wonderful building steeped in history (mind your head!). Debbie and Craig have done a superb job to install modern quality features within the listed building confines.
Breakfast is freshly prepared to order. We also took advantage of the evening meal offer this visit. No worries about driving home after a drink! The food is high quality and freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients. Delicious.
Thanks again for accomodating my Saturday morning Parkrun in Ludlow. This is not the sort of thing you want to do AFTER a hearty breakfast, so the late breakfast was much appreciated. I can't think of anything which would make the stay better. Perfect.
- Kate (10/5): Attention to detail! - Debbie and Craig went out of their way to ensure that we had a good stay. The availability of a 'platter - ham, pate, cheese, bread, biscuits, chutney' on our arrival was very welcome. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast excellent with freshly laid eggs and local sausages. The location is good with plenty of places to visit nearby.
The bathroom was roomy with a bath and good shower - and big fluffy towels - a real treat!
- Paul (10/5): Excellent and welcoming - All of it
- John (10/5): As my friend, staying with us said, "this is the best place i have ever stayed in" - The rooms were spacious, equipped with everything you will need, and packed with delightful period features. The house is listed and is 600 years old! Debbie and Craig have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. They are so friendly and helpful. The choice at breakfast is wonderful, with lots of homemade and locally produced items available. Thanks to 'the girls' for the really tasty eggs.
This is just perfect for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing break away with friends. Nothing not to like. Just keep it the way it is, please.

- Mai (9/5): We had a great little vacation in a a lovely place and loved it. - We were visiting Ludlow and the house was a bit far from Ludlow (9-10miles), but not critical as we enjoyed the drive too. The building was a bit secluded, but the ambience was awesome. The hosts were great, and the black friendly and cuddly pussy cat were a bonus as both of us like cats! :) All was good, nothing to complain about.
- Gerald (9/5): Perfect for a romantic getaway - Nothing was too much trouble for Craig and Debbie and we felt very welcome. The house has loads of character and we were fascinated by its history and loved the period details. Lovely room with four poster bed and separate sitting room, watch out for low beams if you’re tall! Breakfasts were excellent, plenty of choice and a great vegetarian option.

The room was spacious and confortable. Very nice and welcoming host who made us feel relaxed and at home. The breakfast was delicious, prepared using high quality local produce , nicely cooked and in great quantities.Loved the home made apple juice and stewed fruit and the freshly picked strawberries. I am not a breakfast person usually, but I must say I was looking forward to my breakfast at Walford court. The homemade cookies, muffins and cake were also a very nice touch. N/A
- Peter (10/5): Perfect for a quiet break - The location is quiet, the house is beautiful (if you like old buildings which have been lovingly restored) and the hosts are friendly and helpful. The surrounding countryside is lovely and there are plenty of interesting places to visit in the area. There is also a cat called Kitten who stole our hearts. The breakfasts are excellent with a great choice of food. Nothing at all. We will be back.
- Paul (10/5): Truly heaven - Fantastic hosts, very attentive without being intrusive. Nothing is too much trouble for Craig and Debbie we left feeling truly spoilt.
The room platter was value for money, really tasty and the homemade pickled vegetables and chutney was first class.
The endless supply of homemade cakes left out were a real treat and very much appreciated.
Breakfast was of the highest standard using homegrown produce.
Their home ouses history, full of character and we loved its wonky features.
Every possible need has been thought of down to the tiniest detail.
Our stay was a true memory maker. Having to leave at the end of our stay, wish we had longer to stay.
