• Vanessa (10/5): - Die Unterkunft und auch der Aussenbereich war mit Kindern perfekt. Unsere Kinder bekamen sogar noch extra Spielsachen zur Verfügung gestellt. Auch für den Strand stehen Sandspielsachen und Schirme zur freien Verfügung. Im Moment hat es daneben eine riesige Baustelle - da kann die Unterkunft aber nichts dafür….

• Kwok Wai (9/5): - The room was spacious and clean, well equipped with microwave. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was available. Good location, nice and quiet neighbourhood. Easy walk to the beach and a short drive to Wilderness town. Good car park space. Nice to have an outdoor swimming pool and shower, so I would not bring the sand back into my room after a visit to the beach. A big plus was the staff. I was stuck in the road work and stationary traffic on the N2. I arrived late after 19:00. But they still waited for me to check in. Also they greeted me in the morning. The fridge was unplugged. That was understandable to save electricity. However the location of the socket was difficult to reach to plug the fridge back in.
• Nina-Cathérine (7/5): Großes, geräumiges Apartment mit Pool und Strandzugang. - Das Apartment ist sehr groß mit einer riesigen Terrasse, auf den ersten Blick verläuft man sich. Der Manager und die Besitzer wohnen im selben Gebäude, sodass immer jemand vorort ist. Der Manager ist per WhatsApp erreichbar, reagiert umgehend und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Der Parkplatz ist direkt vor der Tür. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer bewachten Straße, wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Die beiden Eltern-Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind schön eingerichtet. Das Wohnzimmer ist gemütlich, es gibt Bücher und Gesellschaftsspiele. Das Internet läuft stabil. Der Pool ist etwas kleiner als die Bilder vermuten lassen, aber sehr gemütlich. Für Kinder gibt es Bälle und Sandspielzeug. Die Anlage ist mit üppiger Vegetation angelegt, Mücken gab es kaum. Den Strand erreicht man in ca 3 Gehminuten, die Stadt mit Supermarkt und Restaurants in ca 10 Gehminuten. Die beiden Kinder-Hochbetten sind schon ziemlich abgenutzt, an einem fehlte die Leiter. Auch die Küche weist erhebliche Gebrauchsspuren auf, ist aber noch voll funktional mit reichlich Geschirr und Besteck. Man muss aufpassen, wo man Essen in der Küche lagert, da sofort die Ameisen durch die Fenster kommen. Leider hatten wir an zwei von drei Abenden Probleme mit der Warmwasserversorgung, was der Manager dann für uns gelöst hat. Der beheizte Pool ist schön warm, wenn die Sonne geschienen hat, waren die letzten Tage aber bewölkt, ist er für kleinere Kinder zu kalt. Zudem wird gerade sowohl gegenüber als auch auf der anderen Seite am Highway gebaut, sodass es recht laut ist.

• Kim (6/5): - The manager is very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable but a top sheet was used in place of a fitted bottom sheet and there was no top sheet under the duvet. The apartment requires some general maintenance, things that an owner / operator should check on. I told the manager that the mat under the coffee table was extremely old and gruby. The shower could do with maintenance also gruby because of age.

• Esther (10/5): Tolle Gastgeber, toller Pool, tolle Lage - Die Inhaberin war super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Auch die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr nett. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bad war auch renoviert und sehr schön. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Nähe zum Strand und der schöne Pool mit angenehm warmen Wasser. Von den Nachbarzimmern hat man bis auf Geräusche von der Dusche absolut nichts gehört was uns positiv aufgefallen ist :-) Nichts, wir würden wieder hier übernachten:-)

The room we had was the bare minimum, would recommend that you try a room which is sea facing to make it truly worth it. Otherwise, it was perfect.

Alles sehr sauber, gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Schöner Garten, beheizter Pool. Sehr nette Besitzerin und Personal, vor allem Lucky, der dich um alles kümmert. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Dass die stark befahrene N2 direkt oberhalb vorbeiführt. Doch das haben wir gewusst. Es hat uns auch nur am 1.Tag gestört und wir würden trotzdem wiederkommen, weil alles andere perfekt für uns war.

• Carolin (10/5): - Die Lage ist super, nur 2 Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Vom Balkon aus sieht man das Meer. Die Besitzer und Mitarbeiter sind unfassbar freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool war beheizt und sie brachten uns extra Spielsachen für unseren Sohn. Es ist sehr sauber und sie fühlten uns sehr sicher. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist super und die Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

La chambre réservée sur booking.com ne montrait pas que la chambre avait une vue sur un mur ce qui est absolument inadmissible. La personne qui nous a recu ainsi que le propriétaire avaient compris que ce n'était pas une chambre décente et nous ont proposé un surclassement, moyennant une somme raisonnable. C'était possible car les chambres étaient libres et heureusement. Sinon, je pense qu'on ne serait pas restés. Je pense que le propriétaire n'aurait pas dû nous faire payer le supplément car en face de notre chambre, la villa était en travaux et on avait le bruit jusqu'à environ 17h.

• Luke (9/5): Comfortable, clean, friendly and well located. - The property is conveniently situated not far from the N2 and nearby shops and restaurants. The beach is very close and is a beautiful beach! There are currently some road works happening on the N2 that make it noisy at certain times, but this is out of the control of Thomasville and they cannot be blamed for this. I belive ethe road works will be completed soon.

They even gave us a basket with toys for our 12 months old daughter which helped us keeping her entertained. Great heated pool (especially for the baby). Ocean view from the apartment and the town is not far away. We also got great recommendations from the owners for dinner and cafes. Also Lucky was great and always helped us

Having a private patio to braai and kuier was really nice. And the heated pool was a bonus. It has a full kitchen with a spacious lounge and the location is ideal. It would have been even better if the bunk beds area wasn't open but that is really minor.

• Jax (10/5): Perfect location near the beach and a short walk to local shops and restaurants. - My room was private and separate from other rooms on the property, so felt like my own little corner with a patio. I was right by the heated pool, and views from my room were lovely and tranquil. Facilities were excellent, lovely shower pressure, everything was clean and was a great little studio perfect for a solo traveller. I was also able to do washing at Thomasville for a small charge with hanging or tumble-dryer options. There were roadworks happening behind the property. I stayed there at the weekend so did not experience any disturbance, however if I were there during the week, the noise would have been a problem as they started at 7am which I experienced the morning I was leaving. Sadly it's something that is out of control for everyone in the area and will hopefully be finished soon.

• Philipp (10/5): pleasent stay in Wilderness close to the beach - Great acommodation in Wilderness. The room is spacious, clean and bright. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. The pool (heated, which is great) and Braai area is very neat and also wind protected, so you can easily stay outside also when it's a bit windy. The beach is just a 2 minute walk away. Restaurants and shops are also close by, either a 10 minute walk or a quick drive. The area itself is quiet and safe. Owner are lovely as well. Overall highly recommendable :) The west room's balcony is shared, so you have people from other rooms walking by, which limits privacy a bit. No big issue for us though.
• Junaid (9/5): excellent family stay - the heated pool kept the kids happy during a rainy day, and into the evenings while we Braai'd by the poolside. Across the road from the beach, and a quick cycle from the lagoon the gas geyser gave an inconsistent temperature when showering
• Richard (10/5): Fabulous! - Great location 2 min walk from the beach and 5 min walk from town with its lovely restaurants and supermarket. Lovely welcome, fabulous room and very nice garden with little pool and braai. All very friendly, clean and comfortable.
