Guest Reviews
- lincg57 (10/5): Good alternative in circumstances - This wasn’t our original hotel but due to power issues we were moved here .
Staff went above and beyond to help us bearing in mind they weren’t expecting us!!
Room was a little cold but there was a log fire if you needed it.
Breakfast was fine freshly cooked items and a buffet.
Car park is under hotel and there are 3 flights of stairs to reception but if you walk around to back of restaurant Allora there is a slope which brings you the square where hotel is situated
Also if you are doing the Wine tram there is a shuttle from the hotel.
- Melgordon (10/5): Beautiful hotel in a perfect location - We recently stayed for 3 night in this gorgeous hotel and loved the perfect location and friendliness of all the staff. We arrived before check in time but were made to feel very welcome & our room was ready for us. We loved the real fire that we instantly lit! And enjoyed views of the mountains all around us. The breakfast was lovely and very accommodating to me having celiac disease- which they took very seriously and provided me with lots of choice & delicious food. There were lots of amazing restaurants within easy walking distance and the adjoining Italian restaurant at the front of the courtyard was very good & convenient on the day it rained hard! The hotel is in a fantastic location to explore the lovely high street & to get the wine tram to all the amazing vineyards so close. I would totally recommend this boutique hotel to anyone visiting Franschhoek and thank everyone for our stay.
- francophileonthemove (6/5): Not recommended, especially for those with mobility issues - We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a trip to a wedding nearby. The property is well located in the center of the town and within walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops, all with beautiful mountain views. The car park is secure and easy.
The reasons for the average score:
1. The website photos are great but don’t reflect the reality of a property that’s effectively a B&B motel. It’s always risky to over promise and underdeliver.
2. As others have said, breakfast is decidedly average. I’ve never had eggs Benedict on a potato hash brown rather than a muffin before but hey ho! The juice is cheap and sugary and the jam wasn’t local. A boutique hotel would normally focus on this sort of detail. We had paid for breakfast but just had it once.
3. There is no restaurant or evening bar, both things I’d expect in a proper hotel but there are two very close by.
4. The room was bizarre: there’s a wood burner but no chairs to sit on beside it! There was a kitchenette but no dining table, just a desk with one chair. Does the other guest sit on the floor or eats in bed?
5. The property is extremely difficult for those with mobility difficulties: there’s no lift (but a lot of stairs) to the upper level rooms; the shower tray is lethal with a very slippery surface, no grab rails and no anti slip mat.
6. As others have said, most hotels replenish mineral water daily but not this one.
I wouldn’t choose to return.
- Camper62673634799 (10/5): Friendly hotel in Franschhoek - This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Franschhoek, making restaurants, shops and wine tram easily accessible. Breakfast was good, bedroom was very comfortable. We were very impressed by the friendly, helpful staff who definitely made this hotel a stand out for us. Would certainly visit again.
- Lavender2323 (8/5): A few minor improvements required to make this a 5* - Superb location, right in the heart of Franschhoek close to lots of restaurants. A 10 minute walk to the wine tram. Excellent secure parking.
However a couple of points that prevented a 5* rating. The breakfast is adequate but not great. In the room there was just one complimentary bottle of water provided with additional bottles charged at ZAR 60. On our final night at around 12.30 am the fire alarm kept going on and off for nearly 30 minutes. No explanation or apology provided.
- 373colinb (8/5): Brilliant location for visiting the wine region - Located just behind the main street in Franschhoek its perfecf for restaurants, bars and the Wine Tram. The latter being a 10 minute walk or you can pick up a shuttle from behind the hotel.
There has been a number of hill fires in the area which impacted power supply to the hotel and indeed many restaurants but the staff worked hard overcome many of the issues.
A great place to stay in Franschhoek
- G7264RPheleno (10/5): Highly recommend - Great location, right in the heart of Franschhoek, with very tastful rooms. We were on the first floor & the views were fabulous. Hotel staff, all ladies, were very helpful & friendly. We were celebrating 2 birthdays & they decorated the rooms & bought cakes organised by our travel agent. Breakfast was included & consisted of a very nice buffet along with a dish that you could order.
If you're doing the wine tram (a must) the shuttle stops in the carpark of the hotel, very useful.
- kwcannons (8/5): Faded elegance but convenient location - Excellent safe location and friendly staff. Rooms are a bit tired and ours had a strong smell of drains but a beautiful view of a jacaranda in full bloom. Breakfast adequate although coffee could have been more free flowing and having to preorder the night before for time and content was a surprise. We were with a small tour group and the meal in the attached restaurant was excellent.
- JanineCathey (10/5): A treat at Franschoek Boutique Hotel - A wonderful time at Franschoek Boutique Hotel.
Beautifully furnished, crisp linen and most friendly healthy staff. Gorgeous views and so central to the town. Waking distance from all great restaurants
- G986LImarkl (10/5): Winter break - We arrived a little early but were warmly welcomed and taken to our room.
The rooms are really well designed and are extremely comfortable.
There is a lovely little fireplace in the room for the cold winter nights.
The hotel is perfectly situated which enabled us to walk to the many restaurants in town.
The breakfast was delicious.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
We will certainly return!
- lisaoH2732HE (8/5): Winter Girls Night Escape - Wonderful, welcoming staff and perfect spot for our winter night away. Fireplaces in the lounge/dining area and bedrooms. Comfortable beds, lovely views and good breakfast.
- shawk02 (10/5): A lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location - Extremely friendly staff who were so helpful with all our questions and made local recommendations for us which were great.
Room was clean and the views were gorgeous. We didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on this but read the menu and it sounded great.
Fantastic location to walk to shops and restaurants
And there is also a free shuttle to get to the wine tram. Highly recommend we hope to return one day.
- Carly (8/5): Great but issues with late check-in - The only slight negative about the stay was that we came to check-in (having previously dropped our bags off) at about 7pm, to be met by confusion and the hotel being almost closed for the night, which was a bit disconcerting. However the room and the setting is fantastic, with the decor and the additions in the room all adding to a lovely experience. Breakfast and the service there was also very good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Maybe it's not for us.. - Strategically located in the town center of Franschhoek and cosy room with a fireplace and ceiling fan. These are probably the only good things I can say about the hotel. The rest are just average or below. Despite our 2 pax 2-night stay, the policy of the hotel is only providing 1 bottle of drinking water of about 600ml. I had to ask the staff for a refill on the 2nd day which was declined initially but offered after about an hour or so - presumably the staff on duty need clearence from the management. It's just mean. Other not so nice experiences - puddle of continuously soaking wet fake grass to cross from the reception lobby to the rooms, brown rust like residure in the kettle (to be fair, the staff did help clean it spotless after I complaint), cheap plastic wine opener that broke upon first use, confusing signage with flights of stairs to climb - arriving first time, it's a real challenge dragging a big suitcase around to locate the reception looking for assistance, balcony door that only open one side, bathroom sliding partition that looks like it can be open fully but stuck halfway... it's a property that has great potential but not really feel like it's worth what we have paid for.
- AlistairS235 (8/5): Home away from home - It would be helpful to have instructions for the fireplace, and the waffles were not as fluffy as the menu described.
The room was lovely, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. It was a truly wonderful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
- angelafP2615DV (10/5): Lovely central hotel. - The rooms are lovely and reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately we arrived during a thunderstorm so I don't think we experienced the full ambiance. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel is in a great central location. Very secure car park.
- RC1958 (10/5): Great place in the heart of Franshoek - Great little hotel right in the heart of Franshoek. Very convenient for all the many local shops bars and restaurants. Nice comfortable room albeit in a ‘motel style layout.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything that you need. Breakfast was simple but good quality.
- kingscommon (8/5): Great place to stay in the Winelands - The location of this hotel is perfect. It’s in walking distance to many cool shops and restaurants. The rooms and facilities are very nice and spotlessly clean. Service is excellent. The breakfast is wonderful! Try the eggs benedict. I would rate the hotel as a 4 star..
- Paul (10/5): Great location - Great place to stay if visiting Franschhoek. It had off street parking and is located in the centre of the main part of Franschhoek. Room was very clean and spacious.
- T1840NItimr (10/5): General Manager and her Team were excellent - The Hotel had stunning Mountain views across the Valley . It is situated in the heart if Franschhoek just outside the Wine Tram Kiosk
We were looked after extremely well , they carried out cases to our room and we were delighted with how comfortable and facilities in the room.
The breakfast was delicious and we would highly recommend it.
The General Manager supported us brilliantly when our concerns which arose over the Heathrow Airport closure and liaised with Trail finders to ensure we were not left stranded
We would like to thank her team for their excellent service and warm welcome.
- Paul (10/5): - Very nice hotel in the centre of Franschhoek, good breakfast, very friendly staff.
- andrewsM4187QT (6/5): Great staff but motel feel - I really want to write a positive review about this place as the staff are so lovely - janine is a star
But there are some issues
The layout is motel style and the building isn’t overly imbued with charm
The rooms are good with a lovely bed, nice furnishings and a very decent bathroom.
The door into the room is beyond flimsy and so is the one on to the balcony in a slightly off putting way
We had an issue with hot water when we stayed and the TV is a bit on the poor side with spaghetti wiring behind and lights that stay on all night
Reception closes quite early in the evening.
The breakfast is not great and we didn’t bother after our first experience even though we had paid for it
The car park is good as is the location
- W7441ECtraveller126 (10/5): Everything was great - Excellent small hotel. Nice rooms, quiet but with a great location, delicious breakfast. We received excellent service from all the team. A special shout out for Janine who provided top class service throughout our stay. We'd highly recommend the hotel.
- 142murray (10/5): Always a joy - It is always a joy to return to this hotel, management and staff are super friendly and helpful and the location is great - in the heart of Franschoek on the doorstep of so many quality restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and complete with aircon, fan and even a fireplace for those cold winter nights. We will be back!
- scottc156 (10/5): Small, friendly and very comfortable - From the moment we arrived, Andrea and the team made us feel really welcome. The room was really stylish and comfortable with a glorious view. All amenities are to hand and the breakfasts generous and tasty. On our first night Andrea went out of her way to find us a restaurant reservation, phoning 3 establishments to secure something.
We loved our stay and all the help we received, thank you!
- juliebE610MO (10/5): Amazing Boutique hotel and room - The Franschhoek Boutique Hotel was perfect, very centrally located, best position for everything Tram, Restaurants, gorgeous shops.
Our room was amazing, the view was spectacular, the bed was so comfortable and big. Breakfast was perfect and the whole team too. I would definitely return.
- Suzannew83 (10/5): Lovely spotless hotel - Stayed 2 nights at the Franshhoek Boutique hotel, we stayed in room ‘Mineral’ which was lovely and gracious, huge comfortable bed, with a gorgeous bathroom, all in all a great little find. Perfectly situated near all the restaurants and bars and not too far from the Wine Tram station although the hotel supplies a transfer there which is an absolute must if you are staying in Franschhoek.
I’d definitely recommend
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome hotel! - Amazing location, views, and beautiful room! Definitely coming back!
- johncH4719DV (10/5): Amazing service and great breakfast! - Amazing service and Andrea helped everything we needed during our stay. The breakfast was just amazing and the room and the views out of this world. Will definitely be coming back and Franschoek to add is such a picturesque lovely town. The bathroom was also impeccably clean . We loved this place
- Gregory (6/5): - Nice but a little dated-needs renovation. More like a 3*
- PAULE241 (10/5): 5 stars for the view alone - Lovely welcome with petals and fizz on the bed.
The room wasn't large, but opening the window to see the view of the valley was spectacular, and the opaque bathroom wall slides back such that one can enjoy the amazing view through the Juliet balcony window.
The hotel has relatively limited facilities, but is central on the Franschhoek main street, with the selection of high end eateries one way, and more casual dining the other (and Woolworths opposite). Allora is a great option at the shared entrance and breakfasts are huge/served by lovely people.
- Travel33950705932 (10/5): Exceptional service at an exceptional hotel - What an absolutely beautiful hotel. The location is perfect, the room was exquisite with views to die for and staff who went above and beyond to help make our holiday a simply amazing experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We were made to feel very special and we can not recommend this hotel enough.
Thank you to all of the staff who seemed to excel and enjoy giving first class customer service.
- Cruiser744886 (10/5): Above and beyond - We could not recommend this hotel ANY more. Perfectly located. Beautiful rooms. But that isn’t it - the staff are incredible. From the breakfast girls to the manager to the reception staff - they went above and beyond for us and made our stay in Franschhoek beyond special !
- 712andreaf (10/5): Amazing stay - What a wonderful place in Frenchhoek in the middle of the town and very quiet. We loved the rooms and enjoyed our stay a lot. Amazing service with a helpful stuff around us and wonderful breakfast. Parking space is given. Highly recommended. We'll be back.
- Lee (10/5): High quality boutique hotel - Beautiful boutique hotel right on the centre of town, high quality rooms and very safe as a lady on my own
- kennardc2024 (10/5): Excellent 3 night stay - Excellent location for wine tours!!! Very nice and comfortable room -- good facilities - just the right size - pity i couldn't go with my partner. Great breakfast!! The staff bent over backwards to help with planning my wine tours and booking dinner etc. Likely i will visit again.
- 730rolfl (10/5): Enjoy a bit of affordable luury in the heart of Franschhoek - Lovely ambiance, beautiful rooms, clean and crisp. The staff are AMAZING and their service is unbeatable. Beautiful mountain view.
Breakfast was more than adequate, and only the freshest produce was served. Thank you so much to you all for the memorable stay.
- Deon (10/5): Best location in Franchhoek - Second time for us and as enjoyable as the first time.
- Lynn (10/5): Stunning piece of pardise - Amazing hotel with gorgeous room and views. Conveniently located within walking distance of gourmet restaurants and shops
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly staff, beautiful rooms with a view. Had a wonderful stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): Celebrating my sister's 55th birthday - The staff were very friendly and did everything to make iur stay soecil and memorable. Jolanda at the Reception Desk recommended excellent places to dine and went out of her way to help us.
- Dorothy (10/5): - Central location, comfortable room, excellent breakfast and reasonable price. What more could one want?
- JS (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic location in the centre of Franschhoek with great access to all the town has to offer.
The rooms are luxury standard with amazing views
The staff are really friendly and give a real personal feel to the hotel and will advise on places to eat and things to do and will also help with reservations if needed
Breakfast was great and the check in and check out process was seamless.
We would definitely return!
- Tony (6/5): - The hotel rooms are excellent and well appointed, the type of accomodation is a little missleading its more like a 5* Motel in the middle of town than a relaxing retreat. Staff were excellent and room was extremly clean and comfortable but almost no recreation facilities and built above a car park in the middle of town. I had an unfortunate week with constant power cuts which were across town not just this hotel due to load shedding. We also had a day were local boys stole water pipes so no water in the room for shower etc. Management fixed within 4 hours which was a good result.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful 12 room boutique hotel in the center of town. Views from the hotel are stunning and the staff is extremely accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer!
- Britt (6/5): - The staff was just off. Felt pushy with reservations from the beginning. The breakfast staff was wonderful and the room was always very clean. Just got weird vibes from the front desk staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall this was a very pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and comfy. The front desk is very polite ans helpful. Everything is clean.
My big negative was the breakfast. There is a continental breakfast laid out which was good, but had nothing hot. We just assumed that was it, until at the end they brought over a hot breakfast menu. At that point we had already eaten enough. Highly suggest keeping the menu at the table to begin. The second day we decided to get hot breakfast but waited 20 minutes for someone to bring a menu. Then 20 minutes later no one had taken our order still and I had to leave. Also a small pet peeve is the menu says enjoy a selection of teas but for breakfast they all cost money even though there is free tea in the room. I ended up bringing mine from the room.
- Nicholas (10/5): wonderful stay - Loved this hotel, the staff were really welcoming and friendly and recommended places for dinner as we arrived. The room was beautiful, with a free standing bath and views that were incredible. Highly recommend.
- Michael (10/5): Had a great stay. - Had a great stay. Good location near the center.
- Valerie (10/5): would highly recommend - I would completely recommend this hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My room was spotless and beautiful and the location was in the center of town with great restaurants and shopping just around the corner.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful room and magnificent view. Great staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!!
- KathyTxAggie (10/5): - The views from our room were STUNNING - of the mountains, trees and flowers. Very large room, wonderful breakfast every morning and staff were very friendly! Safe parking right by the hotel in a lot off the street. The location of this hotel was EXCELLENT for walking through Franschhoek exploring. You can walk to the wine tram easily and restaurants.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not a great stay - The pictures don’t really show that these are essentially rooms above shops (very motel-like). The check-in was very cold - no explanation given about the hotel neither did we get any assistance with taking our bags to the room. The rooms are not bad - slightly dark but well furnished. Pillows are terrible - almost non existent. We ran out of hot water on the second day and were offered a dirty room to shower in by the manager (who was very rude to front desk staff). Cleanliness also wasn’t great - there were shards of glass on our room floor. If you’re looking for a hop in-hop out kind of stay this could potentially work for you due to location. But for what we paid, Franschhoek definitely has a lot more to offer in terms of value and experience. I would definitely pass.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location, good parking facilities, nice mountain view from room, nice breakfast. My only reservations were that I thought the bathroom facilities could have been cleaned a bit better. Also, in our room the bathroom screen doors didn't align properly so that you could see the person in the bathroom through the gaps (which isn't ideal when sharing a room with a friend!). Also, the fridge was very noisy. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and in a very convenient location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Gorgeous room, excellent service
Staff went the extra mile to be helpful
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The location is good being right downtown in Franschoek. What we didn't like is that I caught the hotel manager locking himself in our room for 10 minutes and not opening the door after my request. He argued that he was cleaning the room, but he did not do anything in the room, had no cleaning supplies but was checking the content of our luggage. We left the hotel right away since we did not feel save there anymore. I would not recommend the place to anyone.
- Sharon (8/5): - Very enjoyable.
- Hannah (10/5): - Rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean and everything you need. Complimentary wine and beer always goes down a treat. Bed was so comfortable. Very spacious room. Very kind people on reception we had arrived a little early and they allowed us to leave our luggage so we could explore. The breakfast was delicious (especially the French toast). Location was amazing literally walk out the hotel into thr centre of town. Unfortunately when we stayed there were huge mountain fires 8kms away from the town but the gentleman working nights was very reassuring as this is something we'd never witnessed. So a special thank you.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great room, breakfast and location. Very nice decor
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing boutique hotel!the staff is super friendly!they offered us a bottle of wine and were very helpful in terms of helping us book dinner places!the hotel is very well located:Less than 1 mn walk to the franschhoek tram office!near 2 exchange bureaus!good breakfast and great views from the room!definitely recommended!
- michelle (10/5): - Everything was perfect. Great breakfast, custom made. Room is really nice with a great view of the mountains. Very comfortable bed. Spacious bath with big tub and nice separate shower. Mini fridge is fully stocked, including wine, all complimentary. Private parking, free wifi. Best of all is location. It is just a few steps away from main street and right where the wine trolly picks up. It couldn't possibly be more convenient!
- Matthew (10/5): Perfect - Great hotel in the perfect location. We had a wonderful stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay and location - We had a great two night stay at the Franschhoek Boutique Hotel. The location is fantastic and only a short walk from all the great bars and restaurants in the centre of the village. The staff are great and went out of their way to help us out and they do a mean breakfast!
Only marks down are for the general room condition. We noticed a couple of things that were slightly tired I.e. a damaged cupboard door and a bedside lamp that didn’t work. Neither were show stoppers and shouldn’t detract from a really nice hotel but just prevent it getting the top marks. Would definitely recommend though if you want a centrally located hotel!
- Thomas (10/5): - We had a fantastic time in Franschhoek at the Boutique Hotel. Our room was very well kept and had a lovely view of the mountains. The location of the hotel is great - you can explore the Main Street, lots of gorgeous restaurants and you’re in the perfect spot to take the wine tram. (The ticket office is 50m from the front door)
Breakfast was very well managed, with fresh fruit and healthy bites to keep you going, plus a good selection of hot food available to order.
Llewellyn and his team are extremely helpful and want you to have an excellent experience. They sorted taxis, recommended things to try. They know their stuff so be sure to have a good chat and get the local insight.
We had a wonderful time here and would recommend it for those looking to do a good exploration of the cape vineyards and the local areas as it’s a perfect base.
- Nigel (10/5): Perfect hotel for Franschhoek wine district - Perfect location, great welcome, lovely room, fab breakfast. Highly recommended!
- orly (10/5): Great place, awsome staff, perfect location, - It was a great place to stay. The location was perfect, the staff is amazing and the hotel is first class. One of the best hotel we stayed in. We highly recommend this hotel
- Carol (10/5): Lovely hotel - The hotel is located right in the centre. The rooms were lovely and clean and as it was very cold the day we were there, the wood burner was a lovely addition to the room.
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional service! - EXcellent!!!
- Daniel (10/5): Best location for the wine tram! - Amazing room, stunning views of the valley, styled really well, contemporary but cosy. Bathroom was amazing, great bath looking out over the valley (if you could use it after the drought!) and best of all 30 metres from the wine tram stop!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing hotel - Beautiful boutique hotel room was stunning and staff were sooo nice and helpful. In perfect location two minutes to Main Street and wine tram location. Can't rate it highly enough just amazing Definetely be back. Thank you again
- Susan (10/5): Good quality hotel - Excellent room, large, well appointed, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Good bathroom.
- Deborah (8/5): Great value little gem - This hotel is incredibly good value for Franschhoek without being ‘no frills’ or a cheap generic chain. The rooms are all individually and beautifully designed and decorated with good bathrooms stocked with good quality products. The views are stunning. Staff very friendly, helpful and polite. Very good breakfast included in the room rate, with small buffet and hot breakfasts cooked to order. Locate is excellent, right in the heart of town and an easy walk to everywhere. The fridge was stocked with wine, beer, soft drinks and water, all complimentary, which was a very welcome surprise. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but there are many, many great restaurants in Franschhoek and the surrounding vineyards. Do book in high season though as the restaurants do get busy.
- N (10/5): Central, comfortable and charming boutique hotel - Staff were extra friendly and helped us with travel around Franschoek and then onto Hermanus. Breakfast was simple yet very tasty - try the Onassis eggs - yum. If the WiFi doesn’t work just ask reception to reset the router. Only having 6 rooms means the hotel has a super-relaxed feel. I totally recommend staying here when in Franschhoek.
- Nicky (10/5): Classy central hotel with a view of the mountains - Nice room with a wood burner in the corner.
Located in the township of Franschhoek.
Well looked after by the staff
- Tanya (10/5): Beautiful place, friendly staff. - I loved this hotel. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were delightful and the location was central. It was perfect for me to stay in alone, and would also be fine for a couple (although the bathrooms, while beautiful, are not very private). I would definitely stay there again!
One note to the hotel: it seemed like scented detergent and/or fabric softener was used on the linens. I, and many others, are allergic to scents (they cause me to wheeze and break out in a rash), so a switch to an unsxented brand might be in order.
Thanks again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Elegance meets Location - Llewelyn Lambert truly made our stay at Franschhoek Boutique Hotel one of the best experiences that we will always remember.
We truly cannot thank Llewelyn enough for going above and beyond.
- Michael (4/5): Flatter to deceive. - Room detail not good. No hot water on first night. Underfloorheating not working. Sliding door in bathroom and mini bar faulty. Bath tap loose. Noisy neighborhood. Room not properly cleaned. A tad disappointing.
- Franziska (10/5): Amazing room - Amazing room, lovely breakfeast, no elevator
- Peter (10/5): Conveniently located - Conveniently located at departure point for wine tram as well as for exploring Franschhoek.
- Sheron (10/5): Great hotel great location - Great hotel very centrally located. Rooms very comfortable and nicely decorated.
Lovely breakfast!
Staff were amazing very friendly and helpful.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Boutique hotel full of charm and great breakfast - The hotel rooms are well-appointed and beautiful. We appreciated the generous room size, and subtle touches that come with a small, boutique hotel. Breakfast was exceptional as it included a choice of made-to-order items (eggs benedict, omelette, etc) plus freshly made coffee. The hotel is easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.
- PETER B (10/5): Very convenient location for hotel in town centre - Nice town with nice restaurants and reasonable shopping.
