• Spangenberg (9/5): Easter weekend with family. - Under roof parking close to entrance. Easy access with entry code & remote. Smart tv. Great shower. Comfy, firm mattress. Peaceful & quiet. Beautiful garden & trees. Wash basin taps splatter, as if air is trapped in water pipes. Continuously.

• Jan-Thijs (9/5): - We really liked the gated entrance and convenience to park the car under a carport next to the house. The garden was great and it all felt spacious. Also, the bathroom was large and well equipped with a rainshower. The kitchen is also fully equipped, you can cook al your meals here. We didn't miss a thing. The bed is good, but not for the tallest of people since I had my feet dangling out of the bed (I am 1.95m tall). We stayed in Sage cottage, which is next to the road The road can be a bit noisy from time to time. Also, when we put on the woodstove, the air inside the house became a bit smoky. But overall we had a great stay.

• Adel (10/5): - We loved our stay at the Periwinkle Cottage. The view is great, it’s peaceful yet close to town. The self check in option is very easy and convenient.
• Lyn Weber (9/5): - Das Cottage war sehr zweckmässig und liebevoll eingerichtet mit einer wunderbaren Veranda. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten etwas kühle Temperaturen, dafür gab es Heizdecken und einen kleinen Ofen mit Holz. Wir hatten unendlich Mühe den Heizofen in Gang zu bringen. Eine Anleitung dazu wäre nett, dann klappt es auch mit der Wärme.

Cleaning ladies so friendly and neighbors. I will definitely come back again soon. Please add full mirror for us ladies that will be amazing. We struggled with gate remote and they had to open for us from inside When i checked in, I felt like we were not trusted as we had to drop one of my sister first at bethlehem as we were attending wine festival . Felt like the guy we found maintaining the place thought we we squeeze in extra person and that was so uncomfortable for me as immediately the host called but it's understandable as it's business.

• Spangenberg (9/5): Superb - Everything you need. Quiet. Safe. Parking close to cottage entrance under cover. Smart TV for rainy days. Can still walk to town centre. Cottage can be cold in winter, but have a wood burning iron stove & electric blankets. A two bar heater, fitted against the wall, helps a lot to warm to bathroom.
• Sonia (9/5): Cozy and Private - This was easy my best experience in Clarens - it was like a home away from home - especially the fact that we were met with the friendliest Cat - Winston. Such good manners and made me miss my furry animals at home a little less. Maybe a wooden cutting board and a better "Braai" tongs But there's not much to complain about. Very warm and cozy!

And I will always stay here when planning to stay in Clarens. - Everything was wonderful, it was the most relaxed I have felt in ages. And each unit is so private. It was the breakaway I needed after n work year in the City. I am a solo traveler and felt very safe as well.

The TV channels are linked to the owner's streaming account, which I think is not a particularly great arrangement.
