Morning breakfast basket was very cool touch. Owner kindly let us do late checkout. The walls between rooms are not the thickest. One german gentlemen talked several hours with phonr and we could hear everything. Quite annoying.

• Jacqueline (8/5): Bucolic scenery - Big rooms complete with small kitchen and fridge. Very quiet and in a beautiful setting. Nice and very generous breakfast basket and dinner options. Some rooms had heaters but there was no heaters in our room. However there was a fireplace that we made use of but it didn’t quite suffice to warm up the place and keep it warm until morning. That being said, there were ample blankets available to stay warm. Note that it was particularly windy when we stayed.

What a lovely alternative way of doing. And the abundance was exceptional. The home cooked meals & fresh baskets which can be ordered is such a great idea, no need to go anywhere. Quality of food is exceptional, and again, abundance. Loved the fireplace, and the private braai provided on your doorstep. Rooms & amenities of exceptional standard. Отличные номера, удобная кровать, а атмосфера ‘домика в деревне’ вообще бесценна! Вид на осликов из окна шикарен. Все очень понравилось!! • Susan (9/5): Excellent and exceeding expectations - hoping to return soon - The room and facilities exceeded my expectations, the option to order an evening meal was well presented, all the food was of excellent quality and the check-in/check-out interactions friendly, helpful and professional. The accommodation is located on a beautiful working farm which shares an access road. The road requires minor maintenance after the recent rains in the area. This is, however, a minor suggestion and did not detract from the stay and experience.

Alles is aanwezig voor de kinderen om het naar hun zin te hebben, de zeer lekkere baskets die je kan bestellen zijn voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. We hadden deze plaats gekozen om na onze landing in Kaapstad even tot rust te komen.

• Meera (9/5): Amazing farm stay - The accommodation was comfortable and clean. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Appreciate that provision was made for mosquito repellent too! Rooms are cleaned daily. All necessary toiletries and kitchen equipment were provided. Accommodation even had an air fryer which was a huge plus. Bed was a bit worn and sagging a bit.

Das Frühstück wird morgens um 8 Uhr in einem Korb gebracht. Empfehlenswert speziell für Familien - Tiere, ein weitläufiges Gelände und ein großer Schwimmingpool, es gibt viel zu entdecken!

• Clemens (10/5): Luxus trifft Idylle auf einer Südafrikanischen Farm - Diese Farm ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Es gibt jeden Morgen einen Frühstückskorb mit selbstgemachte Brot, frischen Eiern von den eigenen Hühnern, Saft, Wurst, Käse, Joghurt und Müsli. Milch ist bereits im Kühlschrank vorhanden und wird erst berechnet, wenn die tägliche Menge von einer Flasche nicht ausreicht (R14/ Flasche). Man kann sich für R15 im Zimmer kleine Füttertüten für die Hühner, Esel, Schweine oder Alpaka nehmen. Das macht wirklich Spaß und die Tiere freuen sich auch. Man kann sich tagsüber wunderbar am Pool entspannen und abends kann man sich was in der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche etwas kochen. Zum Kochen kann man sich in der Farm Kochkörbe bestellen. Es gibt Burger, Pasta oder Braai. Man bestellt den entsprechenden Korb per WhatsApp bei der Rezeption und man erhält gegen 17 Uhr den Korb mit allen Zutaten zu seinem Zimmer/Haus. Die Zutaten sind super frisch und sehr lecker! Wir können es nur empfehlen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und wären gerne länger als 2 Tage geblieben. Wir hatten das Gatehouse und würden es immer wieder buchen. -

• Clemens (10/5): Excellent stay, highly recommended for families - The Dairy Suite was excellent for my small family (2 adults, 1 toddler) and made the stay very easy. The farm is very well kept up and the staff was exceptional. Lots of animals and wildlife on the farm, great with kids. Excellent stargazing during the night. A BBQ was provided and the farm offers to supply with grilling ingredients or they can also be purchased in the little town, which is 10km away. Breakfast was superb, farm to table. Highly recommended. Wifi was slow, but I guess that was also a good thing!

The buck, llamas and cattle. And more . . . . Nothing reallly to worry about. There were a couple of small things but have been lost in the midst of all the good things !

Otherwise one bag of charcoal. That said, the Bluegum/eucalyptus wood is great for a nice social fire!

• Andreas (8/5): Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung - -Die Esel direkt hinter unserem Zimmer -Der Pool und die Daybeds -Einrichtung der Zimmer -gut ausgestattete Küche -gefüllter Kühlschrank mit Getränken gegen geringen Aufpreis Vermisst haben wir zum Beispiel Sitzkissen für die harten Holz- Stühle auf der Terrasse beziehungsweise einen kleinen Tisch. Ausbaufähig, finden wir auch das Frühstück, ziemlich wenig Auswahl, eine Sorte Käse, eine Sorte Wurst, Tomaten, Obstplatte und acht kleine Scheiben Brot für vier Personen ist einfach zu wenig. Unsere Kinder mochten die speziellen Marmeladen wie zum Beispiel Orangenmarmelade und Pflaumenmarmelade nicht. Gerne auch etwas Abwechslung mit Croissant etc. zudem musste das Ei noch selbst zubereitet werden. Auf der Farm gibt es auch ein Restaurant, warum wird hier nicht ein Frühstück angeboten für alle Gäste. Das wäre dem Preis auch angemessen für die Unterkunft. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im oberen Bereich. Die Begrüßung beim Check in war sehr kurz und hektisch, da schon die nächsten Gäste angekommen waren. Hier hätte ich mir mehr Infos zur Farm und zum Zimmer gewünscht. Jedoch war der Gastgeber stets über Handy zu erreichen. Wir würden das nächste Mal eine andere Unterkunft wählen.

• Georgia (9/5): A beautiful, tranquil farm stay with thoughtful touches that we would happily return to, especially with family. - Beautiful, peaceful setting with stunning surroundings. The farm feels very special and thoughtfully done. We loved the little touches, especially the Build a Braai basket for dinner and the breakfast basket delivered in the morning, which made the stay feel relaxed and easy. The suite was lovely, and Cameron, the owner, was fantastic and very welcoming and helpful. We had a little trouble getting hot water in the shower, and it was quite warm overnight without air conditioning. These were comfort notes rather than major issues.

• Natalie (10/5): Ticks all the boxes - and even more! - If you are looking for an unpretentious and authentic introduction to rural South African life and hospitality, look no further. Arriving from grey, wintry Europe with a strong desire to leave city life behind, we were simply looking for a place to relax, unwind, and ease into the country without frills or fuss. White Water Farm delivered exactly that. Set against the Overberg landscape, the farm combines natural beauty with real, down-to-earth charm. From our stoep we watched “fierce creatures” roam freely — springbok in the fields, baboons climbing the opposite hill, guinea fowl and hadedas passing by — alongside alpacas, donkeys, chickens, and cattle. Everything felt calm, alive, and grounding. Hospitality: Exceptional. Cameron and the team genuinely care and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. A special mention of and thank you to Natalie, whose warmth and attention made our stay especially memorable. Accommodation: Thoughtful and full of character. The interiors show a great eye for detail and eclectic touches, and the spaces feel immediately comfortable to the extent that we even joked about staying for good. Food: Breakfast arrived each morning in a basket with fresh eggs, cold cuts, homemade jams, veggies, granola, yoghurt and cheese from the neighbouring dairy farm. The focus on local produce is something we appreciate especially. For dinner, there are several excellent restaurant options nearby. Also, ready-made sets are available from the farm to cook your own meals on premise. White Water Farm is a rare find — authentic, generous, and quietly special. We hope to return soon. Nothing to fault. Breakfast albeit very fresh, healthy and delicious could be slightly more varied esp. regarding cold cuts. After day 3 we would have appreciated something different.
• Nina (10/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt auf toller Anlage und stilvoller Unterkunft. - Die Anlage war sehr gepflegt und schön, toller Pool. Auch die Unterkunft war schön eingerichtet. Nichts, etwas mehr Geschirr könnte zu dritt in der Wohnung sein. Aber das ist kein wirklicher Minuspunkt.

• Zoe (10/5): - We had a beautiful stay! Our little girls loved it, especially feeding the lovely farm animals every morning and dips in the pool! Breakfast is exceptional - I think the best I have ever had!!
• Devon (10/5): Amazing. Will definitely come back. - The guest houses are very nice. Modern, spacious, beautiful and clean. You really feel cosy and at home here. It also has a full kitchen. The breakfast basket that is left at your door in the morning was also amazing. After checkout we went to go feed the farm animals. The lighting in the bathroom can improve a bit. But no biggy. Make sure you wake up no later than 8am on your checkout day. Because the breakfast basket are just ingredients. So you need time to make it yourself using your kitchen in your room. And you will still need time to toilet, shower, brush your teeth and pack up everything for a 10am checkout. We did it all by waking up at 8am. So maybe wake up earlier if you have children.
• Wayne (9/5): Luxury and tranquility - The rooms are just lovely. There is everything you need plus a fully equipped kitchen and a wells rocked fridge . The rooms have a balcony inthe front and in the back and both have lovely views . There are pigs, cows, alpacas and donkeys . A lovely vegetable garden to visit and a great spot for walks . Ther is also a superb pool area. The breakfast baskets are a must ! We lived everything ,
• Virginia MacKenny (10/5): Spacious, generous, friendly and beautifully farm orientated with fresh food and welcoming attitude. - Spacious accommodation includes a dining space (and hence a table where one can work), a spacious bedroom and a lounge plus two verandahs. Bed had good sheets and comfortable mattress. Breakfast was exceptionally generous, healthy and delicious. One can cook in the room with an induction plate so mega-quick and when the eggs arrive in the breakfast basket you can make them how you like them. The unique aspect here is that the establishment is clearly happy to encourage you to wander the farm and engage the animals - small packets of animal feed can be found atop the fridge for a minor fee - so you can go feed the donkeys, pigs or other creatures. all lovely

• Pamela (10/5): An excellent 2night stay - The farm was easily accessible surrounded by beautiful mountains. The cottages had a small front terrace, inside a kitchen area, shower room, bedroom with a very comfortable bed and lively bedlinen and then a little sitting area overlooking the back garden which had a braai and two chairs. The delightful donkeys came to have a look at us, and the alpacas were in another field nearby, We had a breakfast basket delivered in the morning and ordered a braai basket and a burger basket for the nights of our stay. Natalie was a wonderful host, so helpful, caring and knowledgeable about the area, so big thank you to her. Nothing to dislike

• Flick (5/5): We had what we needed. A quiet peaceful comfortable night. - Lovely room with plenty of space The air conditioning was very noisy and not very effective. There were no plugs in any of the sinks or basins, so washing dishes wasn’t easy without wasting water—especially since there was no running hot water and we had to boil a kettle. The paving outside doesn’t appear to be cleaned regularly, as there were bird droppings, dust, and spider webs everywhere. The gardens also need some TLC. However, we did have a lovely, quiet night self-catering; it just feels like a little more attention to detail would make a huge difference.

Der Kontakt vorab war perfekt und unser bestellter Korb mit Wein und Käse für ein gemütliches Abendessen auf unserer Terasse stand bereis im Kühlschrank. Tagsüber hört man die wenig befahrende Straße
