The restaurant next door is also very nice The only thing I don’t like about it is that checkout time is at 11:00am why can’t it be whenever we Dee like it… jk lol. Peter (9/5): Highly luxurious stay in a great location. - I have often stayed in Tecate at various budget places, such as El Dorado or the Tecate Inn on the way south out of town. I was surprised by the luxurious and grand style of this place. Very nice rooms, nice little balcony, very comfortable bed, great amenities, great bathtub, plenty of hot water, very quiet, and good walking distance down Benito Juarez. The heat mode on our thermostat wouldn't work. We had two rooms, and one had nice heat. The other did not. It was a very chilly December night. If we had planned to stay longer, I would have called for maintenance. HVAC issues abound in Mexico and rooms often have no heat whatever, so this was a relatively minor glitch.

Peter (9/5): Luxurious and beautiful with a great location. - The design and aesthetic is in the very grand Mexican luxury style, with big rooms, large bathrooms, marble floors, high ceilings, etc. Very comfortable beds. Huge bathtub and plenty of hot water. It would be helpful for staff to provide more information on check in about the amenities and layout of the hotel. Also, oddly, the heat did not work in one of the two rooms we booked. It worked well in the other room.

Great staff Having to go up the ramp with our canes : six sections of ramp. We would have gone to the restaurant but it meant stairs. I requested a handicapped room with bars in shower and high toilet. The toilet was regular . At least it could have had bars to help get up from the low toilet . I believe a golf cart to transport guests from parking lot to lobby would be a wonderful amenity .

Maurice (10/5): Exceptional - Always liked everything about it! Location, relax, classy, great staff, amazing pool and famous restaurant and bar, safe parking. Safe premises with 24hr security guard at gate. Private terrace for rooms, spacious! Nothing, I like everything!

Darrell (8/5): - A trip to the old world. Beautiful property art work on walls, stone walkways, court yards and pool. Down side is if you are older there area lot of stairs. My first visit to hotel and restaurant don't know what it had been like but can't I imagine it being any nicer hotel no complaints restaurant also wonderful.

Nicole (4/5): - We had a really bad experience, we were awoken at midnight to someone opening the door to our room only stopped by the door lock we had put. We later got a call at 12:30am saying someone else had booked that room and we were in their room. We called the lobby and they said they gave our room key to another person on accident. All they offered was a free desert on our next stay.. really disappointing response from staff given we were quite frightened and even lost sleep due to the fright.

Russell (10/5): Perfect getaway to experience a part of Mexico we've never traveled to. - We had a wonderful time enjoying the Jacuzzi. Also, we walked over to the bar/grill, which was onsite. We mainly stayed there because the bartender was great and we made friends there too. The pool was too cold to swim in but it was also the middle of winter so we were ok with that.

Joel (10/5): Gem in Tecate - This my second stay here and it's Tecate's hidden gem. This place is rich in culture art, the decor staff truly captured the essence of the Mexican culture; starting from the entry to the place. The doors to Hotel and truly exceptional the doors to the restaurant Auora located at top of property which I'm guessing it's runned by same staff. Truly a gem I would recommend for business, romantic outing and maybe just to enjoy the art at this beautiful property.
oswaldo (10/5): Relax - La habitación muy espaciosa, la cama muy comoda, el baño enorme con tina y ducha. Tiene una mini refri otra para vino, además tenia tasas para el cafe , platos y cubiertos. Muy elegante el hotel , limpio y sobretodo tranquilo para descansar. Tienen cafe, te y mini conchitas para el desayuno incluido
