Guest Reviews
Personal sehr distanziert. Strand sehr steinig - man kann kaum ins Meer.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not good - Shabby and worn hotel. Very disappointed.
The rooms was not clean, curtains falling down, not luxury and not adults only. Not good value for the price.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location nice. Love the beach and the island as a whole.
- Vuk (10/5): Private location - We had a great stay here, great location close to beautiful beaches, friendly staff
- Inna (1/5): La stress and disappointment - Hot shower Management is awful 😖:
1)Phone number is not correct on booking.com so I can't ask for pick up
2) nobody unswer email
3) thay give me used cream from other guest and once I ask for new thay just add water to used cream and give it to me
4) toalite is transparent so once u go for your private bissness u have no privacy
5) only only Indian food on menu
6) location on booking.com is wrong so u can't find hotel and nobody pick up phone , no unswer on WhatsApp no unswer on email
7) manager didn't inform us that bicycle need to be paid by cash only so we waste on her 1h of time bc we had no cash and she advised us to go 1h to atm and she was extremely rude and unprofessional!!!!
8) photo very heavy photoshoped
9) bedsheets was with blood mark
10) bc of rude management i was try to stay away from hotel as long as possible 😤
- DrJyM (2/5): Horrible Experience! - Avoid this place!
Pictures and description are really misleading.
What you will experience is musty smelling rooms, worn furniture, dusty curtains, cockroaches and other insects (every night), really dirty bathroom. Loud neighbors with a barking dog (all night long). Room service left our room unlocked. Windows cannot be opened as they are screwed to the frames. Breakfast was a joke and an impudence in view of the room rate ...
We were so disappointed (and disgusted by the place), that we shortened our visit. Hotel manager confirmed that we would be refunded. However, this was later revoked by the general manager using false reasons, so they even cheated on us and didn't sticked to their promise. We are still waiting to get our money back!
Reading through the replies given by the management to other low reviews/ratings, I expect them to put the blame one us, their customers ... which would simply complement the picture of how they perceive and treat customers.
A shame for Seychelles and La Digue.
- 867prakashs (10/5): Wonderful Stay at Le Relax Luxury Lodge - A Peaceful Retreat - Our stay at Le Relax Luxury Lodge in La Digue, Seychelles, was amazing from start to finish. Kishore and Yankee greeted us warmly at the ferry jetty and took us to the resort. Check-in was quick, and we settled right in.
We stayed in Room No. 1, with a beautiful ocean view. The area was quiet, almost like a private spot just for us. Sitting outside and watching the ocean was so calming, a perfect escape in nature.
The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including excellent WiFi, which was much better than other places we’ve stayed in Seychelles.
As Indian vegetarians, we were thrilled with the food options. We used room service for dinner, and every meal was delicious. Breakfast was also fantastic, with many Indian vegetarian choices. Finding authentic masala tea was a wonderful surprise!
The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making our stay even better. My wife and I loved every moment, and we’re already missing it. We’ll definitely return to Le Relax Luxury Lodge for another relaxing getaway!
- Yann (10/5): - Super hôtel je recommande top top top
- Dreamer52570735240 (10/5): Great experience - It was wonderful.
The room is modern and well equipped, the breakfast is good with fresh fruits and tasty Indian dishes, and the location is just in front of a beautiful beach.
Special thanks to Aman for being that caring, helpful and professional, great person and great service !
Insgesamt zweite Wahl!
- Ashley (6/5): - Property is now tired and in need of maintenance
- I2933SEclaudiad (10/5): Amazing view and friendly staff - The hotel is very nice with an amazing view on the ocean. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I was not sure about this hotel since few bad reviews but honestly speaking is really cute. You can’t choose a 3 stars hotel and pretend a luxury 5 stars treatment and then complain on Tripadvisor. Is worth it and many thanks to the staff. You are really amazing people!
- Wavefront (6/5): - Very nice location next to a beautiful quiet beach. Make sure to get a room with an outdoor sitting space
- MileDjokic (8/5): Dream for someone looking for peace during his vacation - The Le Relax Luxury Lodge is a dream for someone looking for peace during his vacation. A little isolated from the nearest hotels, it is located on the northeast of La Digue
. The beach is less than a minute away from the lodge and is simply gorgeous and empty of people ;). Only a few minutes’ walk away is one of the most beautiful beaches we have found (Anse Pate Beach), with probably the most photographed palm tree in La Digue. The waves can be a bit rough, but it pays off hundreds of times over. The room in the hotel was large and well-furnished. For breakfast, you could choose between an Intercontinental and an Indian breakfast. The. Indian breakfast takes a little longer to be ready. From the hotel to the harbor, it is about 20 minutes by bike. You can borrow bikes from the hotel, but they are without lights, so we rode through the night on the way back. It's best to pack a headlamp.
- Blaz (4/5): Disappointment - The room, the terrace with swimming pool and the lobby were very nice and comfortable. The receptionist guy, Mohan, was the nicest and most helpful person - nothing was too much for him to do. The food was just terrible, especially diners. The prices of dishes and even drinks were absolutely too high, even enormous. Cold water from the tap or shower was very difficult to get and if someone flushed the toilet or used another sink or used another shower, there was no cold water at all and all you had was very very hot water. The place wasn't completely clean as well. You definitely overpay the booking and it is definitely not a luxury lodge. Addition: all the bicycles they offer are in pretty bad shape.
- Marloes (8/5): Very good - It's a beautiful hotel and the rooms are awesome and big. Nice facilities. Staff was very friendly bit a bit shy. They gave us breakfast take away when we had to leave early. They also helped with our luggage and were very keen to help us generally. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the center. You'll need to pass some dark roads at night to get to the hotel.
The rooms were really great but could use a handyman here and there but no big remarks.
We loved our stay, however we feel the price was a bit too high
- wedeliverbbs (2/5): Would give a zero star if I could - Very misleading. Horrible experience!!
Our room was next door to a family with yelling kids, barking dog and rooster woke us up at 6 am. Not the la relax stay we were looking for. The landscaping was not done/lawn full of weeds. Their advertised pool was green and HOT and not deep. Not really a pool. The actual hot tub was empty and not in service, if you could even find it behind the weeds. Our patio was in the middle of rocks with ants crawling all over the chairs. If you could look past all of this, the beach was across the street and was ok but you can not swim here. Rocky beach. The air conditioner was not putting out cool air. No cold running water. We took our complaints to management, showing them around the room and outside with our complaints, we never heard back from her. We spent that day going around the island looking for a different hotel room. We were supposed to stay three nights but it was so bad we left after one night and moved to a better property. I can't emphasize strongly enough that you DO NOT use this hotel. Definitely not the luxury relax lodge. they portray on their website.
- G2042PTmarkr (2/5): Seriously? Think twice about booking this - Anything but luxurious. This Hotel should be wiped off the island, so poorly maintained. The eye sore of a neighbor next door with the screaming kids, barking dog and loud rooster. That was my view. Try finding the hot tub. You have to get past all the weeds and to find the weeds growing on it and no water. AC was not working correctly, no cold water, tape holding the shower panels together, landscaping not maintained, looked like a jungle, weeds everywhere, patio made of stone with lounge chairs in the middle full of bugs, need shoes to walk on it. The pool, tiny and .9 meters deep of almost boiling water. The beach across the street is not swimmable unless you wear shoes, its all rock. See photos attached, zoom in on a few. Tried speaking with hotel management and they made no effort. Checked out 2 days early and stayed at Patatran. They would not even respond to Hotels.com. So calling Visa to dispute this crap of hotel and its service. Beware of booking this place, their pictures are not up to date and the nice pictures you see of the beach is from Patatran Hotel a mile down the street.
- ItchyFeet319 (6/5): Just ok - Stayed here as a couple in July and for 3 nights.
1st and most important thing to say is we were looked after from the moment we arrived to when we left by Mohan who was pleasant, super efficient and couldn’t do enough for us.
Thanks Mohan you are a real asset to this property.
Secondly, La Digue is beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay.
To the hotel - I was expecting a bijou , boutique type hotel - for Brits reading we got mid range B&B.
We were the only ones staying there which I guess didn’t help.
Location is a little remote so a bike essential (no cars)
It’s probably not the place to kick back and chill as facilities are limited, pool is small and there is nothing to do close by.
Restaurant was just ok - we ate breakfast there each day and dinner there once. Chez Juliet is a 10 min bike ride away and I’d strongly recommend.
Given the time of year and empty rooms I expected more for my money - don’t know if that’s a reflection of this property, La Digue generally or the Seychelles overall. We are still touring so I guess we’ll find out!
- Y6746FJhugob (10/5): Best service and luxury big rooms with view to the sea - It was a good hotel, helpfully, and helped us with everything everyday. Mohan was so good and service minded. Good breakfast, big rooms, clean, sea view, nice bathrooms.
We will definitely coming back next year, and recommend our friends this hotel,
Thank you Mohan,
Family

- katjal824 (8/5): Charming and peacefull - Very friendly staff, nice big rooms with privacy. Practicaly on the beach of beautifuly LaDigue, where you get the best vibes of Seycelles.
Food could be improved, but the staff realy was super nice and helpfull.
- martinsS5641MN (10/5): Very good place with the super staff (Mohan,Hira, Prithvi, Shenker) - Great rooms, a very individual service, you can get your privacy, if you want you can also get contact to the wonderful persons running the island for us tourists.
Very romantic place to sit in the evening for eating and watching the sea.
ASK the cook for specials he has to offer something.
Beautiful view over the sea
- MichaelB19467 (10/5): Wonderful - Despite of corona lodge and restaurant opened just for the four of us. Extremely friendly staff, if You miss anything bet the next day it's there (i.e. Seybrew). Excellent kitchen. Thanks to the staff again
- 478vinayp (10/5): Best Boutique Property on the Island - Best Indian and Creole Food on the Island. Authentic taste along with a great service and location. Stunning Views. The new pool decking is superb. You will feel like royalty as it's a nicely appointed hotel with only 6 keys.
- T891125 (10/5): Great stay - We really enjoyed our time in Le Relax in La Digue. The team was amazing and made sure that we were happy 247. Seshi and Vealbhadra took good care of us, from food to laundry to transportation and great recommendations. Thank you!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This was a very nice place with a nice view. The rooms are clean and the staff is amazing. Seshi and veal and the whole team were great. They would go to extremes to please and satisfy their clients.
- daruboy (10/5): Luxury Redefined - Stunning property. Great for couples and the views are amazing.
Like it’s sister hotel on Mahe, great food and good service.
Rooms are clean and nicely designed.
Loved the romantic atmosphere.
A real boutique hotel. Highly recommended
- 762rafikl (10/5): Great customer service - We ate breakfast here, and the waiter Veerbhadra chounam was so nice, he was very welcoming and was catering to all our needs plus the setting is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend, make sure you bring your camera to take pictures!
- 0mri (8/5): Very good hotel - This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are very big and new.
the staff are great, very nice and helpful. The chef is very good, super Indian food. And special thank to veer bhadra chouhan, that was very kind and helpful. we enjoy very much.
We were in the hotel alone so it kind Abit peculiar but this is small hotel with only 6 rooms
- Jörgen (8/5): - Nice n cozy, very friendly with good service
- Michael (8/5): Quiet boutique hotel on La Digue - Lovely secluded hotel on the far side of La Digue. There are no other facilities in the are. This will ensure there are no crowds or other people in the area. The staff are lovely and very nice. I had an issue upon arrival and it was quickly resolved.
- Rachel (10/5): GORGEOUS Hotel, Nice Staff, Beautiful Beach - I just got back from my honeymoon and this was by far our favorite hotel of the 5 different hotels we stayed in several different islands in the Seychelles. The rooms are modern, immaculate, well air conditioned and truly beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the shower was AMAZING with 2 rain shower heads and super spacious. Pictures don't do the rooms justice - they are spectacular.
The location, although a little further out of the center of town than some of the other hotels, is on a lovely beach and near the best restaurant on the island (Jules). Plus, they have a driver who will take you where you want to go, if you don't want to walk/ride a bike.
The staff is super friendly and will do anything to please (they actually decorated our couch and bed with gorgeous flower petals and spelled out "Happy Marriage" to welcome us. Any time we had a question or needed help, they came directly to us within less than 3 minutes of our call. They always had a smile and were willing to help.
Slight negatives: most of the staff do not speak much English, so communicating at times was a little complicated. Not a huge deal to us. Also, the food in the restaurant was inconsistent and mediocre at best (and a very slow dining experience). I'd recommend skipping lunch and dinner there altogether - not good and not worth the price. The breakfast that's included is decent but also inconsistent.
- Iwo (8/5): 4 days paradise visit - Great hotel, unfortunately service wasn't great but overall impression super cool
- JOAO PAULO (10/5): Ideal para relaxar. - Staff amigável.
Ótimas instalações
Quarto amplo e confortável. Calmo.
- TS (8/5): Nice quiet little place - The manager was great, very attentive and helpful. Check-in and out was easy. . Beautiful small boutique hotel on a beautiful island, which not much to do yet so much to see. Definitely recommend for honeymooners or couples. They didn't do anything to celebrate our honeymoon which was disappointing and restaurant prices are high but the breakfast is amazing. There are only 6 rooms, very well appointed, there is a small plunge pool and a Jacuzzi. The beach in front of the hotel is nice, quiet. Its located on the opposite side, so no sunset but still a nice view. January is rainy season, the sea is rough and lots of algae. The staff at the hotel was very friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice rooms, attentive staff, inconvenient location - Gorgeous rooms, attentive staff, but inconvenient location w/limited privacy, and few perks. Rooms are spacious, modern, beautifully appointed. High ceilings w/LED accent lights, floor-to-ceiling windows, and movable walls. Palatial travertine bath w/2-person, dual rain-shower, open-air stall that's bigger than my master bath @ home. Only 3 of 6 rooms have views. Rooms don't offer much privacy w/ windows facing public areas/walkways, so need to keep curtains drawn, esp. since bath, including shower, is open to sleeping area, separated by glass wall. Looks nice, but offers no privacy. Toilet is in its own enclosure, but also made of glass (frosted, but only 3ft up)! I would not recommend if you are modest or traveling w/family. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is a great location. Very peaceful and quiet. However, it is far from everything – jetty, shopping, restaurants, beaches. Small beach in front of hotel is not good for swimming due to rough seas. However, hotel provides bikes (for a fee) and most things are 10-30min bike ride away. Hotel does not provide water and no stores nearby so come prepared. There is wifi in rooms, but very slow. There is no cell phone reception on this side of the island! There is a swimming pool, but very small and not very clean. No seating area around it. Instead an empty water feature. There is a safe but not attached to anything. Bathrobes not provided. Slippers only after several requests. No conditioner.
