Tout a été parfait.
- Katharine (10/5): - We had a very comfortable stay here, and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The space is very clean and roomy and we slept well. Communication was excellent and we would definitely stay here again.
- jeff (10/5): - Really lovely clean, quiet accommodation. Great location for us as we visited Dixter house/gardens, Merriments & Perch Hill gardens. Lots of options for dining out a short drive away. The accommodation is perfect, very clean, very quiet, all the facilities you would hope for & the breakfast was top quality. The owner lovely, welcoming & helpful. Highly recommend this b&b and would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): One winter night break - Friendly reception. Warm and cosy. Spacious room.
Good continental breakfast served in room. Tasty homemade granola.
- Susan (10/5): - Lovely accommodation in a quiet area overlooking fields. Kate very friendly & helpful. Very nice breakfast left in room ready for next morning
- Verified traveler (10/5): Unique and Serene - We had a wonderful stay at Rosebank B&B. Parking is on site and close to the premises. The property is really rather unique and self contained. There is access to the garden where you can relax in the sunshine. Breakfast is continental style and tasted wonderful. The homemade granola is divine and is the local honey. Kate was wonderfully welcoming and we would highly recommend this property.
- Trevor (10/5): Overnight stay in Etchingham - Hosts made our stay very welcome, but COVID-19 restrictions meant that a continental breakfast was left in our room. Very clean and comfortable room, with everything we needed.
- Simon (10/5): Perfect - Perfect stay whilst working in the local area. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
I really enjoyed the very clean, spacious accommodation and continental breakfast
- Julie (10/5): A fantastic weekend away - Kate was a fantastic hostess and so welcoming and helpful. The property was very comfortable and had everything that you could possibly need.
Quiet, peaceful and being independent to have a wonderful continental breakfast on our own made the whole stay very relaxing. Breakfast was more than adequate with juices, fresh fruit salad, yogurts, fresh bread, pastries and croissants. The bed was super comfortable and fixtures and fittings all up together including a newly refurbished shower room. The area around Etchingham is full of wonderful places to visit close by and we particularly enjoyed Great Dixter, Sissinghurst and Rye. We had a great meal at The Great House in Hawkhurst which was recommended by Kate. We would highly recommend a stay at Rosebank B&B.
- Wendy (10/5): Wonderful accommodation in East Sussex - Hosts were absolutely brilliant nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation brilliant everything you need has been supplied. Continental breakfast taken in room was excellent with fresh fruit salad, fresh baked bread and croissants and Danish pastries. Perfectly situated for Batemans, and wonderful gardens. Would definitely recommend staying.
- Rita (10/5): Stopover en route to daughter & family - Fantastic!! Set in a barn above a large garage in the back garden so it was very quiet as it was the only room there. And what a room!! Enormous - had a separate sitting area with a comfy couch where you can watch television - much better than from a bed! Separate kitchenette with table & chairs, microwave and fridge and all the accoutrements and food you need for breakfast which we much prefer as we do not like a fried breakfast (so much cholesterol!!). And we could have it when it suited us! Comfy bed (and I am very hard to please) with good quality bed linen. En suite included a walk in shower which for me was brilliant as I suffer with a hip problem and getting in and out of a bath is a nightmare. We only stayed one night as the following day we were going to our daughter's house to house/pet sit for a week. We would like to go back and stay for longer so that we could visit some places on our own. It is very convenient as it has car parking on site and there are village shops nearby. Only drawback is that it is reached by outside steps which could be a problem for the more infirm (particularly in bad weather although they are covered in chicken wire to give more purchase) although even with my dodgy hip (and being 73) I managed them quite easily. I had the misfortune to leave my 2 Kindles behind without realising but Kate managed to power one up, found my name and promptly rang me with the information so my husband picked them up. Thanks Kate!!
- Roseann (10/5): Lovely B&B - We stayed here for New Year's Eve and had a lovely time. The room is exactly the same as the photos and it was nice to have a separate dining area and a separate area with a sofa to watch the tv. The continental breakfast was delicious and the bread from the local bakery was divine. Kate is a great hostess and was very polite and helpful. We will definitely stay again.
