- Joel (10/5): Great Hotel in the Middle of a Vineyard - Great place right in the middle of a vineyard. Nice, big, clean room. On-site restaurant with delicious food & wine, and fantastic views, but the restaurant is closed on Sundays, so make sure you make alternate dinner plans elsewhere if staying on a Sunday. A quick, 15 minute drive to the old city of Montalcino, and a great place to stay if you're planning on exploring the different vineyards in the area.

Everything from the premises that are renovated and maintained spotless to the lovely service of Vito and the rest of the staff as well as the incredible chef serving wonderful dinners each day with ‘what was found on the market and garden’. True Tuscan tranquility all over and great wines to pair it all up. Not one single thing to put a finger on - and even baby friendly doing everything so that we were comfortable with a 6month old.
- Michael (6/5): Beautiful hotel but not worth it for the service - The hotel facilities were great, nice rooms and the house was amazing. The view from the room was beautiful. Also, the tennis court and pool were great, the temperature in the pool was way too cold though. However, the overall feeling at the hotel was very weird. There was no sense of soul in the service, every encounter with the staff felt strained, to a point were we tried to avoid meeting with the hotel staff. The breakfast was bad, and for the price we paid for the hotel, the breakfast should be more fresh and delicious. There was not many alternatives to choose from and nothing tasted as fresh as it should when you’re in the country side. We also had dinner one night and the food was not good, and for the price, it was definitely not worth it (40€/person without drinks). I’d recommend booking restaurants outside of the hotel venue. Also, they kept making us uncomfortable when one of us didn’t drink wine for the evening. There can be tons of reasons why not, and it should not be a big deal. The service was overall uncomfortable. Furthermore, as this was a vineyard we would expect to get a tour of the place and also get to taste their wines. However, at the dinner, they took very high prices for their own wine and there was no passion nor descriptions of the wines. It felt like they wanted to huzzle their guests. In town, their bottles are very cheap but in their restaurant/minibar it was priced much higher. For a tour of the place, you need to pay extra.

Do not miss dining in the restaurant for dinner. We had several dinners among the best of our 3 week trip to Italy. The staff is very professional, friendly and passionate about their job. Thank you Vito and Caterina for going above and beyond expectations and making our stay one I will never forget. We are already planning our return.

The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and immaculate. Grounds are stunning with pool, spa and terrace to watch the sunset. We ate dinner in the restaurant 3 nights and it was outstanding! Breakfasts are bountiful. We didn't want to leave. Vito and Caterina thank you for a magical stay! We are already planning our next stay.

There is a lovely puppy Mia on the property, who greets the guests when they arrive and hangs out with us at the dining room. We had a lovely sunset dinner one night facing the olive trees, served with Podere Brizio's riserva Brunello, simply amazing! You need to have a car with you the whole time though if you plan on staying there.

The main building is a beautiful stone structure and you are greeted by reception just off the garden patio. The rooms are wonderfully spacious and even more beautiful then they look in the photos. We were really impressed with the room, de’core was elegant, large rooms with comfortable furniture and the bed was oversized and exceptionally comfortable. Huge bathroom with an aweful rainfall shower and large bath. Spa facilities were spot on! With it being such a small property each time we used the spa facilities we had sole use! Really friendly staff and we loved the welcoming from the resident dog “Mia” who we wanted to take home.

- Vivian (10/5): lovely boutique winery stay - I had a wonderful 2 night stay at Podere Brizio in late August. I did not have a car, so I took advantage of the beautiful grounds, refreshing pool and sun, and delicious food and wine. Vito was a great host with a good sense of humor, and his dog Mia was the best :). The wine tour was informative though a little on the long side, and I wish we could have spent a little more time tasting the wine (and with larger pours - the sips did not do the wine the same justice as when they were tasted by the glass with dinner). Beautiful spacious room (I stayed in a deluxe double room "Merlot") and good shower, AC and wifi. Overall a beautifully relaxing stay. I'd say more of a boutique winery hotel or B&B rather than agriturismo farmstay (more luxury than rustic) located just outside of Montalcino.

The location in rural Tuscany was ideal for exploring the Montalcino and Val d'Orcia area. Vito is the ideal host. The food and wine at the Brizio if you choose to dine there is fantastic. Really an exceptional experience.

- C (10/5): Nice Hotel with Peaceful Ambience - The hotel is very nice, room was as big as how it was shown in the pictures, the bathroom is exceptionally big. The ambience of the hotel is very tranquil and comfortable, and excellent place to chill out. The decor of the hotel is classic but yet new. Wonderful experience, I can stay there for months My room was one floor above ground, that explains why the ceiling is a bit low, but it gives a cosy ambience. A larger window would be nice (however this is the way how the house was originally built so there's nothing they can do about it). Understood that the old grape vines right in front of the hotel are the largest asset of the hotel, it somehow blocks a bit of the marvellous view of the landscape of Tuscany.
- Elena (10/5): Hospitality at its best! - I don't think I have ever loved a hotel stay as much as this one! The personalized attention from Vito and his mother made us feel so welcome and at home. Momma's food is so delicious we cancelled our dinner reservation the next day just to dine with her again. The rooms are very comfortable and quaint. It's driving distance from all the wineries you could hope to visit, but you must try their wines while you're there too!

The rooms are clean and bathroom is almost size of the living area. The standing shower can easily fit two adults. Free glass of wine and cheese was a nice welcome.
- DC traveler (10/5): Lovely hideaway 15 minutes drive from montalcino - Very nice place. Buffet breakfast minimal so don't expect to be full-but nice arrangement of fruits, cheeses, rolls, quiches. Service was outstanding.
