- Mark (7/5): -
- Silviu (5/5): The stuff need a better customer care attitude. - The place The staff
- Stuart (9/5): Riverside stay - Lovely and clean, great location. Staff very friendly and the breakfast is outstanding.
- Stuart (9/5): Short stay - It was nice and peaceful. The room was very clean and the staff i delt with were very helpful and the breakfast was very good.
- Vishal (8/5): - Very nice staff, beautiful location Shared bathroom is a bit of a show stopper, speically when you spend a decently.
- Michele (6/5): - Location The receptionist wasn’t nice and the breakfast was quite poor and not adapt to families
- Annabel (4/5): I would not go back or recommend - The room was dirty, the shower mouldy and dirty,
- Lee (6/5): Disappointing. Too pricey for what it was. - Location Noise from air con unit or similar all night. First member of staff not very friendly. Quite expensive for standard of room.
- Helen (9/5): Very Good Accommodation - Lovely, clean, comfortable, nice smelling room. Very good full English breakfast included in price. Good value for money. Easy parking. Clean bathroom very near room. Heating on too high. But could adjust so not major problem.
- Stuart (9/5): Great stay - It was easy to check in, it was a beautiful location, nice and quiet. It was clean and tidy. The breakfast was brilliant and I will definitely stay again in the future.
- Sarfraz (3/5): It wasn’t that great of an experience. - Area was nice, but the bed was that great They gave twin bed, no tub in the toilet with £140 per night. Room was ground floor with the window right next to the pub seating, it was little visible.
- Igor (7/5): -
- Claire (6/5): - Great location.
The bedroom and facilities were very good but all let down by the central heating and how noisy it was We hardly got any sleep because the central heating made a continuous noise all through the night. When leaving the next morning we mentioned this to the chambermaid who said they were having problems with the heating and it keeps going wrong
It really ruined our stay as we didn't get much sleep and felt very tired in the morning.
- Colin (9/5): -
- Eediah (9/5): Excellent - The location is very good, food is tasty, and staff are friendly and helpful
- Donna (9/5): Fantastic stay - The staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is stunning. I didn't see everything they had to offer as it was a brief stay. But we will definitely be back. I completely get why due to the location and flooding risks, but I would prefer carpet or rugs rather than hard flooring in the bedroom. This did not detract from our stay though.

- Robert (10/5): - Everything lovely place Nothing
- Stella (10/5): Lovely accommodation in a great location - The location was fantastic, the room we were allocated was well thought out, lovely and warm, very clean and the beds were comfortable. A mini fridge in the room was a good addition, as were the ironing board and Iron and a hair dryer. We were fortunate to be on the ground floor as there were steps up to some of the rooms which might have been a bit awkward with a suitcase. The staff we met were helpful and friendly, and the bar restaurant was perfect for our needs. We would love to stay here again. I can't think of anything negative to say!
- Frost (4/5): -
- Debbie (10/5): - The room was beautiful, the location was lovely. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. N/A
- David (8/5): Excellent, hastle free stay with friendly staff. - Its a great value venue that i've stayed at before. Friendly staff, it looks like it's a really active entertainment venue too, although I haven't had a chance to experience an evening there yet. It's not perfect, but it's a great place to stay that perfectly suits by needs. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. I look forward to going back.
- Robert (9/5): - Super room
Very clean
Very comfortable bed Uber cost
- Fraser (1/5): 0 value for money, will not be returning - Location that’s it The staff were rude
- Pereira (10/5): - Room and breakfast. Sharing toilet.
- STEPHEN PAUL (7/5): - Nice comfy beds , great location. Only pizza being served after a long journey bar shutting at 9pm
- Rumbidzai (9/5): Very good - The location , beautiful scenery Nothing
- Christopher (5/5): It’s a pub. Not a hotel. - Nice location on the river. Ultimately, it’s a pub. Nothing wrong with pubs but I usually drink in them, I don’t sleep there.

- Jennifer (7/5): -
- Shelly (9/5): - The rooms were amazing and so comfy, perfect for a very tired family.
- Tracey (7/5): Fine for one night as we needed somewhere close to the university. - Room was clean. Beds weren’t very comfortable. Ground floor room we were in looked directly out onto the beer garden.
- tracey (8/5): Lovely place by the river - Lovely location next to river
Very clean and well equipped room
Rooms are near to outside bar area so could be noisy at weekends but quiet in a weekday Could have less cushions and prefer no air fresheners could irritate for those with allergies
Exceptionally clean and staff very good and friendly
- Graham (8/5): Great location by the Avon and easy to get to Bath. - We chose the Riverside Inn because it was well located for visiting Bath. We were able to park our car and use public transport (buses every 15 mins). Also being right on the Avon and riverside walk was a great bonus and the staff were friendly. As well as a good breakfast we ate in the bar which served decent pub grub and beer.
- Pogacic (7/5): Lovely setting and rooms but not good value for money - The location was lovely and picturesque by the river with almost no traffic noise. The room had a little fridge and provided bottled water as well as other drinks and the shower was fab (no bath). The breakfast was nice, but only hot breakfast or continental, not a combination of both. Staff were helpful. The room decor was cool and there were plenty of plugs for chargers and things. There was plenty of parking. The room did not feel like value for money and neither did the breakfast. The WiFi didn't work at all which was frustrating and there was no-one around to get help after 10pm - there didn't seem to be a night porter.
- Julian (8/5): Good value proposition a stone's throw from the sights and sounds of nearby Bath - Good value accommodation option especially for visiting Bath.
The room had everything we needed and the breakfast was generous and hearty.
They found us a place where we could lock our bikes which was adjacent to the room we stayed in. The only negative point we could think of was the surly check-in staff. Otherwise everything was fine!
- Sharne (8/5): Relaxing stay where you can relax freely and sit by by the river - Proximity to river Avon and an excellent full English No storage for clothes
Overpriced charging when the park and ride offers charging for half the price
- Sabrina (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean large room, fridge with water and milk for tea and coffee (provided). We had breakfast in the room, due to early breakfast.
- Niwar (10/5): - Location is perfect and clean stuff was perfect helpful recommended well this hotel specially the young lady, I don't know her name but she was perfect and she helped us and they have fantastic view None
- John (10/5): -
- Barzan (10/5): Excellent - Good All good
- Luana (10/5): Buona - Bella location
- rachel (10/5): - Absolutely everything you would need! Lovely little place! Would definitely visit again!
- Susan (8/5): Staff were excellent - friendly and efficient - Staff and position. Carvery was fantastic. Only 8am - 9am and had to choose a variation on a ‘full English’ the night before. Also time to have it within the one hour slot
- Kurt (7/5): -
- Bianca Z (8/5): -
- bill (8/5): - i enjoyed the breakfast and on the second morning, the owner was able to change the meal with no problem. We also had an issue with our alarm system and the owner was good enough to give us a wake up call.
- Paul (10/5): Highly recommend - Fantastic location with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were great and suited us perfect for our family trip
- Beata (7/5): Good for one night stay - Breakfast was ok , possibility of vegetarian option. Location nice but loud music in the evening . There was no air conditioning ,room was really hot even with the fan.Fridge very tiny.Comfortable beds.
- Brigitte (3/5): Teleurstellend - Locatie De entourage; veel herrie
- Sarah (10/5): Well worth a visit. - Staff were welcoming and friendly, check-in was quick. The room was extremely clean and had everything you would need for the stay. The view of the river from the window was fantastic. Full English breakfast that was very tasty.
- LINDA (10/5): Fantastic location ! - Lovely airy room with a great view.
Milk in fridge ! Stairs to room !
- Kelly-louise (8/5): -
- jane (8/5): Lovely food - Food and surrounding was lovely. The room had an unplesant smell
- Gurpreet Singh (10/5): -
- Martin (7/5): Good -
- Jennifer (8/5): An enjoyable break. -
- Mike (9/5): Great - A clean, pleasant, and spacious room with everything you need. The breakfast was exceptional — delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. The surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.
- Nadia (8/5): Very good -
- Trevor (8/5): Very nice stay. Very handy parking - Breakfast very good and so was the location
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb - Pros:
Lovely, smiling, helpful people
The Jamaican decor gives a fun happy vibe
The river view and all the river birds 🐦🥰
Room 3 was clean, large, comfy, dog-friendly Shared bathroom 🚽😷 Paid £11 to upgrade
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Staff very friendly and helpful
- Darren (5/5): Not Happy - Unfortunately I didn't get to see the room as it had been double booked, not sure how but on arrival was told my room had been given to someone else, fortunately I managed to get myself a room elsewhere, but not something you want after a days work and hungry. Not having s toom on arrival although I was offered a drink which I did not accept. Maybe ting ahead to check everything in OK with thd booking.
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Dawn (9/5): Lovely weekend - Wonderful location - right on the River.
Super breakfast the next morning.
Tea coffee water and fresh milk in room. Lovely soft towels and toiletries provided. Mattresses were very lumpy - think may need replacing.
- Geeno (7/5): Quitessential English countryside - The place, the food, the employees
- Dominik (7/5): Charming location and personnel. - A very nice location and conveniently arranged room. Personnel was really friendly. The breakfast was delicious. It was quite hot in the room, and even more in the bathroom - much warmer than outside. I suggest installing air conditioning. Also the price was quite elevated given lack of private bathroom.
- Lynwen (4/5): Disappointing - Only positive was that the room was fairly clean No evening meal available only pizza, after a long drive and not arriving till 8ish we were ready to relax with a meal, and was told that the bar was closing at 9 because it was quiet .Pre order breakfast with was full English, vegan option, "or something on toast".
Room was meant to have river view but ours had a white tent blocking the view, room was fairly clean, totally over price , will not be recommending or returning unfortunately.
- Tonderai (2/5): Very poor -
- Martin (8/5): Down by the Riverside - Easy to get to cycle walking path’s…… was in a great location… easy to find..breakfast was good ..staff were pleasant… I would return. Would have been nice to have cereal fruit et cetera for breakfast and not just fried… some evenings were a little noisy.
- Hannah (10/5): - Carol and Holly were so nice and pleased we had the privilege to meet them both on our exit of the hotel 😍
- Nigel (8/5): Great experience - Great location, tidy room, staff excellent Could have done with little desk / table to work on in the room
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Gary (8/5): Very good - Food was good, pizza was delicious & a good breakfast Only thing that could have been better would have been firmer mattress
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely location
- Robyn (5/5): Passable -
- William (10/5): - Comfy bed, friendly staff and good food
- Stephen (8/5): Enjoyable stay. Nice room, location. Restaurant and breakfast could be better. Good value for money. - Enjoyed our stay and the room and location was good. The restaurant facilities and breakfast wasn’t that good, not much choice and no orange juice.
Too many air fresheners everywhere, even in the restaurant, which was over powering
- Gynette (10/5): Gee - Lovely clean room over looking the river. Excellent.enjoyed our cooked breakfast, lovely & quiet.
Park & ride only 2 miles away which takes you into Bath (less than £8 return for2!!)
- Martin (8/5): Great location sub standard customer service - Lovely location by the river Didn’t answer the phone and therefore no way of finding out whether food was been served . Staff seemed to revel in telling us the kitchen had just closed and couldn’t care that we had tried to call them for the last two hours.
- Pauline (10/5): Stunning the best one yet - Holly the owner is a breath of fresh air . Nothing was to much trouble. All I can say is wow I take my hat of to her and her team . Also have just fitted in a new open kitchen pizza oven area opening today shame we were going home . As its going to be amazing like our lovely evening meal and breakfast was too . There was nothing not to like
- Ashley (10/5): Enjoyed my stay in the Elephant themed room. The room was slightly small for 3 persons but it was clean and comfortable. - Located in a nice private are close to Bath. Room was clean and tidy. Nothing!
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional - There was a very tidy room. The downstairs has an outdoor canopy for evening meals and drinks. Milk and coffee is provided in the room. The breakfast is supurp.
- Samantha (8/5): Pleasant hotel for a short stay - Friendly staff, good location, comfortable well equipped room. Limited breakfast choices. Also our room overlooked outside bar area. It was quiet on the night we stayed but could have been noisy, and we had to keep curtains closed for privacy.
- Roger (5/5): Bedroom quite okay public areas grubby - Breakfast poor
Noisy public areas Reception at the Bar
- Alastair (8/5): Clean comfortable, good staff would stay again - Perfectly situated for us
Staff helpful and friendly
Breakfast very good
Comfortable beds A bit noisy until late evening
