- Dya (7/5): -
- Lucie (8/5): Agréable séjour. - Joli chalet.
- Erin (4/5): - Sheets and floor were wet up on arrival.
- Philippe (10/5): - Cest très bien :)
- Jonathan (10/5): - Great stay, the feeling of camping with great commodities (bed and washrooms inside a large tent)
- Caroline (10/5): - C'était magb
- Florence (10/5): -
- Norma (10/5): - Loved the chalets. Had everything we needed and were very comfortable.
- Marie Eve (10/5): - Super beaux petits chalets, bien équipé,
- Giulia (10/5): -
- merkert (9/5): Glamping in the Canadian Woods - Being in the Woods; grilling dinner every night I think it was a little over procès
- PN (7/5): -
- James (8/5): - Hutoppia has so many things for the whole family
From the River at the back of the property to the amenities at the check in location
The Bathrooms were clean even on a Saturday evening when the place is packed
- Mark (9/5): Fun place for a family stay. - Glamping in a woodland setting. Nicely designed with great shared facilities, especially for the kids.
- Emilie (8/5): -
- Joe (10/5): Kids friendly glamping - Great place with Kids, huts are a bit too close together, lack of privacy but over all great experience. Would definitely go back. Stayed in a chalet, had everything needed. Nice to have the convenience of the restaurant, pool and kids games. Unfortunately the weather was bad over the weekend but we still enjoyed
- Juan (9/5): Superb -
- Noelle (1/5): Disappointing - Your company charged me for an extra site, a tent which we mistakenly booked because we couldn’t read French . We realized our mistake immediately and called to change it to a room in the hotel Horizon. But now your company won’t reimburse us $105. For the tent.
- Meg (9/5): All the pros of camping with none of the cons - Lots to do, relaxed vibe, cute chalet with everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. Beautiful stream and swimming hole! I wished there were more walking/hiking trails right on or from the property. The stream with the swimming hole was absolutely magical, and I’d go there every day! I just wish there were more places like that, so we didn’t need to get in the car any time we wanted to be in nature. Very small detail; overall, delightful!
- Ioana (8/5): Beautiful weekend in nature - Location, wooden cabin, nature It was hard to park properly at the assigned spot. The other people who rented would take our spot or didn't park property nobody respects the guidelines
- Justin (9/5): Superb -
- Hamza (9/5): Superb -
- Ting (9/5): Superb -
- Magali (8/5): - Unfortunately, dogs can't be quiet sometimes
- Jessica (10/5): - Awesome nature playground, beautiful cabins, our family makes a trip to Sutton Huttopia every year!
- Noela (9/5): Enjoying nature is possible while being confortable - Location
Comfort Stove did not work very well
Floors were very dirty. We passed the broom when we got there and when we left but this is not enough to receive the next guests.
- Fernanda (9/5): Superb -
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shokry (9/5): Superb - service, location, quality of food, games, toilettts
most of my experience was great trails iinside the camp are very muddy and fill up with water when it rains.
tents get wet on the inside when it rains
- Dan (6/5): Lovely cabins. - Great location with lovely cabins. Staff could have been more polite.
- Marianna (8/5): Lovely place in plain nature. - Great place to reconnect with nature and your loved ones. Bring coffee if you plan to come Mon-Wed in low season as bar opens only for breakfast. The chalet has coffee machine though:) Wooden chalet make notice (which is expected:)) when you walk, so if you travel with a sensetive to the notice little children, keep it in mind.
- Shlyak (8/5): Very good - Great location
- Gabriela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesle (10/5): - Great stay! I would highly recommend
- Roberto (8/5): Being camping lovers, we enjoyed our stay. - The accommodation was OK and it met our expectation. I think we did not get the right tent. We did not have sheets, no towels and no matches. The fridge was not clean and had a lot ice.
- Andreas (10/5): Exceptional - That was a perfect place to stay in that area of Sutton! It felt like being in the out of nowhere! No wifi at the house. But thats the only thing!
- Alexandra (9/5): Superb -
- Pierre (7/5): We are experienced campers and in general, we enjoyed our stay. - We liked the location, we liked to arrive in a clean tent with comfortable beds and plenty of warm duvets. The toilet/shower were clean. Good fire pit. Cute little lights framing the entrance. Upon our arrival, reception/restaurant area was closed. We had specifically notified in advance, an early arrival but we still had to wait/waste 3 hours before checking in. Made beds in tent should be the norm with a fitted sheet for the double bed (small mattresses had fitted sheets, why not for double?). For September camping (which was our case) heating facilities should be improved. A 30 minute maximum timer for heater is totally insufficient. We understand that while camping, you don’t expect a tent to be at normalx room temperature but there is still a minimum that is required for sleeping comfort. Fortunately, we had brought our own small electric heater which compensated for the lack of heat. Also, the single side burner on bbq is not sufficient for cooking. In photos on website, there was a two burner gas stove on small table outside of tent. THAT should be the norm. Numbers on tents should be so much more obvious! More signage for filling jerry cans/washing dishes area. Also, price of wood and ice is steep. $15.45 for 6 pieces of wood and a bag of ice? 😳 Suggestion: bags of kindling for sale at reasonable price.
- Andrew (5/5): Passable - A nice place to spend with family, good trail network for running, walking, and especially mountain biking. This is definitely a place for families and children, not so much for young people or those without children. Cabin was not cleaned when we arrived (mouse poop), but they were responsive. Visitors are required to clean their own cabins upon exiting, which for paying 180$/night seemed like not a great deal.
- Majid (8/5): Very good -
- Rahanash (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (8/5): Very good -
- Stefan (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Sandra (10/5): We loved it. - Everything was great. Very relaxing Nothing. Very well run.
- Ting (10/5): Great! - This is our second time returning to the campsite, we have always loved this magical forest, and this year even have a BBQ stand at each site, we just love it. Bugs still manage to go into the tent during sleeping, I hope the mosquito net of the tent can really zip it up. but overall still good considering it's a natural environment.
- Kim (7/5): Lovely place, but make sure to arrive during daytime, extremely dificult to find sites after dark. - Bathrooms were very clean and had individual rooms, the showers were great, it felt like a hotel shower and bathroom, very impressed.
Did not like the breakfast, too much cheese and they put syrup on my eggs without asking. If you are not used to french cuisine, try choosing a light breakfast instead of something you have not tried before. Upon check-in, it was getting dark, and we wandered around the site for 45 minutes looking for the number on our tent, dragging two wagons and holding our wedding clothes up in the air so they did not get dirty. Finally a camper helped us, we were exhausted after an 8 hour drive, and very frustrated with the small print map and the directions the receptionist gave us to find our tent. We were very grateful it was not raining. They NEED to post more signs indicating where the tents are located, and they NEED to place stakes outside each tent so that people know which one is theirs and are not using flashlights looking for numbers on tents where people are already inside. FYI the numbers are at the bottom corner of the decks, you have to really look for them.
- Alberto (9/5): Superb -
- B (9/5): Absolutely wonderful - All the various activities on site, so many fun things to do. And the waterfall area especially. The cabin had everything we needed and more. There more no mosquitos (not sure if anything was sprayed!). No AC in the chalet. It was over 30 degrees Celcius all night. Would have been nice to at least have some fans or ceiling fans.
The food at the restaurant was below my expectations; it just tasted okay and wasn't worth the price.
- Romaric (8/5): Very good -
- Roch (4/5): - Not worth the price. If you have money to burn and want to go, bringing your own bedding/sleeping bag and if you need internet access don't expect Wi-Fi or LTe to work.
- John (2/5): - It's just overpriced regular camping. The tents are nowhere near as nice as they look in the photos. They ask you to clean it yourself when you leave, and they make the bed and that's about it. Don't pay hundreds of dollars fo regular camping, just take your own tent and go somewhere nice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Cool idea for ready-to-camp tents, but the check in is already pretty late and the check out is early as well. Too expensive for the alotted time.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Awesome play structures/rope courses. All natural materials, easy access to trails, cozy cabins.
- Julie (10/5): - Place extraordinaire!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I love how everything is equipped and I don't need to bring anything. The area is super clean and lots of play structures for adults and kids
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Total peace and quite. Excellent hiking very dog friendly.
- Katherine (10/5): Adorable little cottage - Very clean, adorable little cabin. More than enough space for 2 people. Some issues with wrong credit card charges but they were sorted out. Will be back!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Charming and cozy
Great area
One comment: The pictogram for hiking is not very effective
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Overall ok. Nice location but cost for comfort low. Beds were uncomfortable. Huts were not stable on foundation and actually moved when you walked. A bit unsettling
- Verified traveler (10/5): awesome - awesome environment
- Carole (6/5): - Nice cabin, beautiful site. Staff very friendly, but not organised and not very knowledgable about activities on site. Camping chair was broken, never replaced. BBQ grill very dirty. Mountain bikes for rental in poor condition and unsafe to
ride.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Easy check in, nice little cabin that was well equiped and very comfortable!
- lilia (10/5): - Very original. Great experience. the tent was very spacious, very quiet. Well equiped. Bathrooms were very clean. i wish we had more time and stayed longer to experience the barbecue.
Great trekking in the area.
Sutton village is very close - with nice places to eat.
- Jordan (10/5): Good Family Friendly Option - We stayed in one of the wood sided cabin. Good family friendly option with nice, new cabin + fire pit + cooking facilities and activities. The pool, playground and kids program were a hit with the kids.
- Desiree (8/5): Good Stay But Needed A List of Suggested Items - We stayed in a Chalet for 3 nights. The accommodations were excellent, as was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I would suggest that the company's website give a list of suggested items to bring with you. We did not know to bring fans or firewood. I understand that there would be no a/c; however, it was over 100 degrees when we visited and a suggested list of items would have been very helpful. I would stay again, but make sure I came back better prepared for the rustic style of the chalet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Très beau site, belles installations, très propre!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - - no hooks
- burnt out light bulbs
- front door didn't close properly
- coffee table almost fell apart
- cheap feeling IKEA style
- pool very dinmly lit, felt unsafe/not clean
- Patria (10/5): Fantastic location - Quiet, relaxing and a great home away from home. Would stay again and recommend to those who want a quiet stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful place - Great cabin with wonderful service and very friendly staff.
Great for families!
- Joanne (10/5): - Absolutely the most relaxing and enjoyable time with friends and family. Than you
