• Tracy (10/5): Beautiful room! Beautiful view! - I let the host know we’d be getting there late and she sent us all the info we needed to find the lodge and get into our room easily. The beautiful room was a welcome sight after a long drive and everything was clean and comfortable. The next morning we were able to see the wonderful view outside our window and went for a walk down by the river. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Really well-appointed, lovely art, cool shower. It's all very well-thought out. A private porch, big windows looking out to pretty views. The owner is lovely to cimmunicate with. I thought I'd be late and called. They sent me excellent checkin notes. I suppose I had neighbors, but everyone was quiet. Special place!

• Mary (10/5): Hidden Gem - Wonderful! I had read reviews about getting to the Lodge was not so easy. The sign on Old U.S. 10 is a small dark brown sign with some faded yellow paint but if you’re looking for it then you don’t miss it. The dirt road has signs along the way so I didn’t find it difficult to get there. The place is immaculate and very cozy! They pretty much have thought of everything. One night stay for us but I would like to return for multiple night’s stay in the future.

The property was clean and well-maintained, very comfortable. The scenery was gorgeous. If you’re looking for something quiet and closer to nature, this is perfect.

It was also soothing to see and hear the rushing river from our room. We would love to stay here again.

The peacefulness of it facing the Yellowstone River was the best. Saw eagles on the way to the cabin, and had a special little visitor, a swallow, on the front porch the day we left.

• griffith (2/5): - In case you are thinking of booking here -- think twice. I booked a room via Expedia and arrived @ 7PM after a long day's drive to find nobody to greet me. I phoned the hosts only to be told that they would not honor the booking -- not enough time was given them or some mumbo jumbo. Excuses excuses. Maybe the dog ate my reservation? I should emphasize that this was a verified Expedia reservation. My pleading for a room fell on deaf ears and I was left to consider sleeping in my car. So any reservation you make here should be taken with a grain of salt -- it depends entirely on the whims of the feckless owners. In retrospect, the glowing reviews here and on Expedia may have been engineered.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Concert Stay - What a great find! We stayed after a concert in Bozeman as there were no rooms available in Bozeman. Quiet beautiful location, great view of the river, spacious up-to-date room, comfortable bed, and very friendly owners. Other than the fact that the lodge is a little out of the way as far as things to do (if you need some, we didn't), it's perfect! It would make a great weekend getaway spot if a person just wanted to be away and relax doing not much at all. My only complaint, and it's more with hotels.com and not the actual accommodations, is that the listing led us to believe that we were booking a cabin with a kitchen. We brought breakfast food with us thinking we'd have somewhere to prepare it, and then didn't when our booking turned out to be a "guest room" and not a cabin. Luckily we had some things we could eat without cooking. The room did have a fridge and microwave which was helpful. Again, a listing issue not a property issue! The property itself was fantastic.

• Lisa (10/5): Stay Here, You Won’t Regret It! - This place is off the beaten path, as it should be! This is the most relaxing, serene, tranquil place we’ve ever stayed. Our cabin was beautifully designed and very clean. Get your fishing license because the Yellowstone River is right there!
• Mark (6/5): - The cabin was beautifully decorated, and it was right on the river, which was lovely. However, I have very bad allergies to fabric softeners, scented detergents, and dryer sheets, so I had to sleep in a sleeping bag on top of the bed and use my own towel. Everything appeared to be very clean, but if you sensitive skin, be sure to bring your own bedding, towels, and pillows. The place was very difficult to find. Google maps sent me to places that didn't exist, so call and get directions. The place is not actually on the highway. It's along a fairly long gravel road. I was in Hyundai Elantra rental car which sits very low to the ground, so it was challenging to get to. Rocks kept bouncing up and hitting the bottom of my car, so I had to go about 1 mile per hour for a fairly long distance. If I had known that ahead of time, I probably wouldn't have stayed, because I was really worried about the car.

The lodge had the most beautiful woodwork I’ve ever seen. Why would anyone want to go to a hotel when you could wake up, sit on a beautiful porch and watch the sun rise over the yellow stone river! I would definitely come back here for a longer visit. I highly recommend coming for a visit you will be pleasantly surprised.

Very private river bank to enjoy the river front setting from the deck area or outdoor setting area. We only stayed one night and found by chance but definitely a perfect location to relax and have a peaceful stay.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - I didn’t realize when I reserved that I was reserving a cabin. We didn’t arrive until after dark so we didn’t see the surrounding area until the following morning. The cabins are close to a river and nestled in a grove of old growth cottonwood trees. The scenery is beautiful. The cabin itself was cozy and the king size bed was a little soft for my liking but comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. The owners are very nice and went out of their way to accommodate us as late arrivals. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay for more than one night. It would have been a great place to get away.

• Andy (10/5): Hidden gem, modern LUXURY private cabins riverside - A hidden gem! LUXURY cabins set near the Yellowstone River... peaceful and tranquil. The nicest room, with high end finishes (granite counters, river rock shower floors, nice tile floors) that we stayed in throughout our four week vacation trip through Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Owners obviously take great pride in their property, and genuinely care about guest experiences. And cheaper than anyplace else we stayed, to boot. It’s off the beaten path, but worth the detour if your traveling through Montana!
