• Susan (9/5): - Lovely hotel just inside one of the gates of the Diocletian's Palace. Our room was comfortable and had an old style charm which we enjoy. Breakfast in the morning was cooked to order, along with fruit, muesli, bread and preserves. We loved the convenience of being able to explore the Palace and town and then return to the room for a rest. The owner and staff were all very kind and helpful. There was no kettle in the room, but the staff were happy to provide a flask of hot water when requested.

• Ole (9/5): Friendly and local hotel, right in the middle of the historic center - Hotel Peristil is located right in the historic center. There are so many touristic places in Split, but this was an authentic and locally owned place, where we felt at home rigt away. The staff and the owner were very friendly.

Les deux personnes à la réception sont exceptionnels de part leur professionnalisme et leur gentillesse,je les ai beaucoup apprécié pendant mon séjour. La literie est en mauvais état pour la petite chambre simple,du coup,la team de l'hôtel a eu la gentillesse et bienveillance de me surclasser dans la plus belle chambre double au dernier étage avec vue exceptionnelle sur la cathédrale. Ceci m'à permis de passer un bon séjour. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré en rajoutant qques viennoiseries.

• Claudia Gabriela (10/5): Nice place to stay! - The hotel couldn't be in a better location; both the train and the bus station are less than a 5-minute walk away. It's a real gem because it's situated within Diocletian's Palace, which makes it even more special and allows you to appreciate the city centre even more. Despite being in a tourist hotspot, I find it surprisingly peaceful. Generally speaking, the staff are very nice and friendly; on one occasion I had to leave before breakfast time and they had prepared a lunch box for me, which I really appreciated.

• lucia (10/5): Amazing stay at Peristil - Everything was amazing, the location and the hotel staff made the trip so much more memorable. The hotel is direkt in the palace, the room does have an old antique style but yet cozy and classy. The breakfast food was limited but right amount and the eggs were made to perfection! The hotel owner was extremely kind, it felt like a coming home instead to a huge hotel buisness. The staff also responded quickly to our requests, and made sure we had a good stay. The room was very clean and bed was on the softer side but still could sleep well. We went in the off seasons so it was not loud, even though the hotel is direkt in a major tourist spot. The heating unit is a little loud while on, but that is not a deal breaker,we just turned it off during the night.

He along with the other staff were so welcoming and friendly and full of fun and laughs. Our room was perfect for us for our three day stay. Breakfast in the morning was made to order. We loved being able to wander around the town for a little while and return to the room for a rest. The location is excellent just inside one of the gates to the palace. Our room was very comfortable and had all we needed. There was no kettle for hot water but that was easily solved by asking a member of staff for a jug of hot water. There is nothing about this hotel that is not to like. A small hotel with all the charm of a family run place where guests are individuals and treated as such. A really memorable place to stay.

I HAVE SPENT SINCE THE END OF SEPTEMBER TRYING TO GET THE HOTEL OWNERS TO SEND THE 189 EUROS. EXCUSE AFTER EXCUSE. NO FUNDS RECEIVED.

• Debra (7/5): - The morning staff were wonderful. I didn't see in the information that the hotel has no elevator & no rooms on the ground floor. Two of our friends ended up staying at another hotel because the stairs were so difficult & no one there to help with their luggage (our uber driver helped with our luggage). The room rates are high, due to their great location, but there are many hotels within a short walking distance that have larger comfy rooms and breakfast included.

Vale conferir Não ficou claro na informação do hotel / BOOKING que o estacionamento era pago a parte, e ficava a 400 metros do hotel. Não é possível chegar de carro no hotel nem para descarregar as malas. Para acionar a liberação do estacionamento é muito complicado.

• Hsinping (9/5): Amazing stay that makes me want to go there again. - Perfect location. Just two steps away from Peristyle (central open square of the palace). Also very close to the bus terminal, supermarkets, local markets and piers. The breakfast is excellent: not a buffet, but freshly prepared, delicious, and served in generous portions. Room is comfortable. Highly recommended. There's no elevator, so you will need to carry your luggage upstairs. The Wi-Fi connection can also be a bit slow at times.

• David (6/5): - For some, I’m sure staying in a hotel located in what used to be a palace is exciting. For me, it was not. The hotel’s proximity to the sea and the port is exceptional, and the staff members were exceptional. Arriving after dark, in a thunderstorm, and having no idea how to find the hotel was frustrating. Listening to the “show” in the palace with a speaker outside my window until 00:00 or even 01:00 one night, and then listening to the bells ringing so many times at 06:00 every morning was not fun for me.
