- Ramon (6/5): Great hotel but no spa - The hotel is super nice and staff is great. The hotel was supposed to have a spa, but this is placed in a other hotel where there was no free slot for any treatment. This was pretty disappointing when you expect a nice stay in a spa hotel.
- Klaas (10/5): Top!

- Jacques (10/5): Charm and Authenticity - Charm and authenticity, location, place, people, the local cuisine, the philosophy … We love that “home” … truly genuine … “une experience Vraie” If not 100% perfect, and perfection is subjective,
nothing that we did not like per say …

- Barry (6/5): Probably would not stay there again. - Calming location beautiful location and charm. Attention to detail lacking - very little info on facilities. A little tired and not well maintained.
- In (8/5): Very good -
- Gerard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ralph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenny (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (7/5): Good - Breakfast excellent. Dinner was average, although the pork was excellent. Bed very comfortable, but chair in the room not great. There were 2 of us therefore we would expect 2 chairs. Staff were great, and the parking facilities were excellent
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional - Everything but especially the lovely staff who were so attentive akd did their best to make sure our trip was memorable. The location is very quiet and spectacular. The rooms were all so different and we loved the decor. Nothing.
- Margaret (10/5): It was wonderful as always - Quiet elegance to relax
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Jane (8/5): I’m glad we found this place. - Beautiful location. Lovely helpful staff. Helped us choose and book ( where needed) outings. Very good food in both bistro and restaurant. On the day we arrived there seemed to be a distinct shortage of staff. The two people working were trying to do everything as more guests arrived.
- Cromb (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): From the minute we arrived for our short stay we were treated like royalty a stunning hotel and we had one of the finest - One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in
Staff are amazing Nothing
- Simone (9/5): Superb - Strange but great location like in a fairy tale

- Ivan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kira (10/5): Exceptional - This was a special place and we hope to come back. The staff was amazing, the room was beautiful and our dinner at the restaurant was one we will never forget. The breakfast in the dacha was also a treat.
- Marie (10/5): A delightful experience with engaging staff, beautiful surroundings and lots of charm. - I didn't realize what we were getting when we booked this hotel. It is a small castle in beautiful surroundings. The service was exceptional (decent english). The breakfast was exceptional. The restaurant was an entirely new experience for us - plan to stay 2 hrs - I won't spoil the surprise but it was worth it. It was a bit remote - a car is a good idea.
- Leslie (10/5): I always wondered what it would be like to live in a castle. now I know! - This magnificent castle is secluded in the trees and is a charming quiet and magical retreat. The only mildly thing was having to walk through the basements so far to dinner venue during the rain but then again, it was interesting!
- Jeroen (9/5): wonderful place - situated in landscape beauty stairs
- Shai (8/5): Very good -
- Biggo (8/5): Loved it - Breakfast location was good and selection was interesting. The location of the Chateau was idyllic. The service throughout was excellent. Will definitely try to return.
- Isabel (7/5): Good -
- Keith (9/5): Beautiful hotel, good location and very helpful staff with a fine dining experience. - Enjoyed a relaxing few days at the hotel. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Room was very good and clean and overall setting lovely. Good swimming pool and location was good for walking. Hotel restaurant was superb - had a great meal there. A dining experience! Hotel website has this as a spa hotel with two restaurants - The Restaurant and Cassals. However the spa is in the spa village below and not the hotel and the same applies for Cassals - both are a five minute or so walk down steps from the Castle and not part of the actual hotel itself, which is not obvious from the website when booking. We ate in Cassals (which was very good) but decided not to use the spa facilities
- Barry (10/5): Fantastic and would return - Excellent
Staff and food Toilet facility at pool
- Andreisavu (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. A lovely place in the middle of the French Pyrenees.
- Brian (9/5): Superb - Character of the hotel and its grounds, the swimming pools, room comfort, excellent breakfasts, friendly and efficient staff, alternative restaurant possibility in Cafe Casals. The tasting menu in the main restaurant, though delicious and delightfully presented, did not suit everyone in our small party and was rather expensive.
- Jochen (10/5): simply superb ! - They deserve their 5 stars and membership in Relais and Chateaux. The natural setting is stunning and the hotel has countless cozy nooks, a superb restaurant, extremely comfortable rooms, and best of all, a fine staff that understands how to make their guests feel coddled and welcome.
