Easy access into town - although quite a few steps - typical of everywhere we visited in Greece . Excellent view from bedroom across the harbour to the Fort. Lovely buffet breakfast in a pretty room with great views.Staff very friendly. Also good spot to visit Mycenae . Lots of stair in property and we had a heavy case! Parking can be an issue. We were lucky and found space on the square.

• Ελευθερία (10/5): Αξιοπρεπέστατη διαμονή στην Παλιά Πόλη! - H τοποθεσία ήταν μέσα στην παλιά πόλη ήταν βολική γιατί μπορούσες να μετακινηθείς μόνο με τα πόδια. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενέστατο. Επαγγελματίες. Ο χώρος ήταν πεντακάθαρος. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ βολικό σε διαρρύθμιση. Το μπάνιο ανακαινισμένο και πεντακάθαρο. Τα κρεβάτια ήταν άνετα! Με σεβασμό θα πω μόνο το ότι λόγω καιρού και αυξημένης υγρασίας υπήρχαν κάποια σημεία στο δωμάτιο όπου συσσωρευόταν και διατηρούνταν μέσα στο δωμάτιο. Δεν αρκούσε η χρήση air-condition σε τέτοιες ημέρες με υγρασία. Δεν υπάρχει κάτι άλλο.

• MARIA (9/5): Όλα ήταν υπέροχα . Το Ναύπλιο είναι κορυφαίος προορισμός. Ομορφιά, ιστορία, ευγενικοί άνθρωποι. - Μείναμε πολύ ικανοποιημένοι από την διαμονή μας. Κομψοί και καλόγουστοι χώροι, πεντακάθαροι, θαυμάσιο πρωϊνό, σε πολύ καλό σημείο μέσα στο ιστορικό κέντρο του Ναυπλίου (προσοχή, πολλά σκαλιά!), με θέα, κοντά σε όλα τα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος και στην παραλία. Το κυριότερο, το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο και εξυπηρετικό! Τα δωμάτια, αν και όμορφα, είναι μικρά, χωρίς τους απαραίτητους χώρους για να ακουμπήσεις ή να αποθηκεύσεις πράγματα. Ευτυχώς είχαμε ένα πολύ ωραίο μπαλκονάκι με θέα στην παλιά πόλη και στο Μπούρτζι!

• Χριστάκη (10/5): - Ολα ήταν πολύ ωραία. Η καθαριότητα ήταν εξαιρετική καθώς και το δωμάτιο πολύ περιποιημένο. Αλλά το πιο σημαντικό είναι η άριστη εξυπηρέτηση ,ευγενια και φιλοξενία ! Επίσης η θέα και η τοποθεσία ήταν μοναδική. Σίγουρα θα το ξανά προτιμήσουμε στο μέλλον.
• Antonis (8/5): - Πολυ ωραια τοποθεσια, πολυ ομορφο και καθαρο δωματιο. Το δωματιο μας δεν ειχε μπαλκονι κατι το οποιο δεν μας αφησε να ευχαριστηθουμε την πανεμορφη θεα. Ακουγοταν ενας πολυ δυνατος θορυβος απο τους σωληνες των αλλων δωματιων.

• William (9/5): - This hotel is beautifully situated at the top of the old town, overlooking the city and the harbor. Parking isn't readily available, and you need to walk a bit to the hotel. That is part of the charm, but if you are handicapped or elderly it might be an issue.
• wendyhS7GJ (10/5): A Jewel in Nafplion - This hotel is a little gem in the heart of Nafplion. We could walk anywhere and had a gorgeous sea view from our room. But the service at this hotel is exceptional. Joanna at the desk was instrumental in recommending restaurants, secured a reservation for us, and gave us directions to all the sights in town. She was simply wonderful. The staff at breakfast was so nice and efficient and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel itself is lovely, beautifully clean and neat, and the bed was so comfortable. Can't say enough nice things about this hotel!
• George Missios (9/5): - This was a very nice hotel but the location may be a little challenging to get to for some. There is a sizable number of stairs down to the waterfront and we had to climb those steps several times a day. My legs are stronger and so will yours after a few days but if you have issues with your legs I would look for something closer to the waterfront.

• Theo (9/5): - The staff was very polite and nice. The WC was renovated, and the view from our room was great. The location is central and useful. Parking can be hard at times, but you are in the middle of an old town, so you accept it. Even though, in general, I am resistant to noise, we had a bad experience. For two nights in a row, the guests in the room above us were moving the furniture until 2 am, and it was impossible to sleep.

THINGS THEY COULD NOT HELP - location at the end of a one way street (taxis did not want to go there) - difficult pedestrian access from the lower town up very steep steps - access to rooms difficult using a series of steps THINGS THEY COULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT - staff attitude: with one exception, staff were indifferent and unhelpful (one person was pushing the hotel's 7-seat limo service on me) - inflexibility: I made my reservation 4 months in advance, but they insisted on allocating me a 4-bed room, and consistently ignored my requests to change to something smaller - they insisted on a 50% deposit way in advance of my arrival All in all, I have never felt happier to check out of a hotel.

The hotel did their best to provide us with instructions and advice on where to park, but it was still a bit of a headache. Once we were parked and checked in, everything was lovely.

• Luis (10/5): - Localização perfeita com excelente vista. Receção calorosa e muito prestável, fez-nos sentir à vontade como se estivéssemos em casa. A rececionista deu-nos um mapa e boas dicas do que visitar e onde comer. Tivemos uma ótima refeição num dos restaurantes que ela sugeriu: Alaloum restaurant. Quarto muito bem decorado faz lembrar quartos de hotéis boutique. Camas confortáveis. Ambiente muito calmo nas redondezas. Pequeno almoço muito bom com muita variedade. Ovos mexidos, ovos fritos, ovos cozidos, bacon, salsichas, iogurtes, geleias, cereais, pepino, tomate cherry, queijo feta, vários tipo de pão, chá, etc. Uma estadia memorável com boa relação qualidade-preço. O quarto é muito bom mas tem potencial para ser excecional. Deviam ter em atenção alguns pormenores. Por exemplo, no duche, o ralo está solto. A persiana manual de uma das janelas encalha no puxador da janela, e a persiana já está rompida do lado de dentro. O sistema de fecho das janelas não é o mais simples e fácil de usar. Precisa de alguma manutenção. São pormenores não muito importantes, mas resolvidos elevaria a qualidade do quarto para excecional.

• Susan (10/5): We enjoyed the room and the helpful staff - The staff was great. They helped get spots for our car in a very tight lot. The room was spacious and well designed. And we liked being away from the night time crowds. And it’s just a short walk to be in the middle of everything. Bathroom door was weird because there was no knob-it just slid. It was hard to get it started sometimes Breakfast was nice but in a tight little room.

If you have mobility issues the stairs to and from the hotel may cause an issue. However, we had not issues. Would absolutely stay at this hotel again the next time we go to Nafplio.

• Igor (10/5): Good hotel - We were warmly welcomed and were told useful information and the staff was really really helpful! Thank you! The hotel itself is charming, has nice view, it's clean. We didn't try the breakfast as there are lots of nice options around. Parking spots - in the old town, on saturday evening, in peak season are rather a rare commodity. We were warned by the staff that spots marked with green line are for local residents, so that's a really useful information. We sought for a parking spot for over 40 minutes and finally found it not far away, like 15-20 minutes walk. But when you finally leave the car, everything from the hotel is within a short walk range.

• Vincent -NL- (9/5): Great hotel, extremely helpful staff - Lovely room with a great view of the gulf. The staff was extremely helpful. We could check in earlier and the lady at the reception was very enthusiastic to tell about the sights and was excellent in giving great tips to explore the city + surroundings and gave a lot of tips for bars and restaurants. Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of choice, and extremely attentive staff. Please be aware that the hotel is located on a hill so you need to take at least 4 sets of stairs to get there (does give you great views though). We had the first room up the stairs next to the reception which was quite noisy from all people walking around and arriving at the hotel at night and having breakfast in the morning. So be sure to request a quiet room if you're a light sleeper.

• EllieK (5/5): - Το δωμάτιο μύριζε τσιγαριλα από τον προηγούμενο ενοικο κάτι που μας ενόχλησε πολύ καθώς είχαν ποτίσει τα υφάσματα με τη μυρωδιά. Επίσης μας έδωσαν δωμάτιο στο ισόγειο, χωρίς μπαλκόνι με αποτέλεσμα να μην έχουμε μέρος να απλώσουμε τα βρεγμενα μας μαγιό. Καθώς είναι καλοκαιρινός προορισμός το βρήκαμε απαράδεκτο. Τέλος το πάρκινγκ είναι πολύ δύσκολο στην περιοχή. Εάν το γνωρίζαμε δε θα επιλέγαμε κατάλυμα στη συγκεκριμένη περιοχή.

• Bersaida (10/5): Great Stay, But Tough Parking - Great location — just down a long stairway and you’re right in the center of everything. The family room was spacious with three beds, and breakfast was generous and tasty. Staff were super friendly. Visit Tolo from here. It is an amazing beach and shops with the best prices. parking is tough. Most spots are reserved for residents, and the nearest public lot around a park has very limited space. The other public parking at the port is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. You can get ticketed because most of the parking belongs to the local residents. Also, the air conditioner in the family room didn’t cool the space very well — it felt a bit warm, especially at night.
