• Ursula (10/5): Fantastischer Aufenthalt in einem historischen Gebäude in alpenländischer Umgebung - Das Haus ist außergewöhnlich mit wunderschönen originalen Einrichtungen, es ist selten, dass so ein Haus für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich ist. Wir sind sehr glücklich dort 2 Tage gewesen zu sein und danken Carlotta für das herzliche Willkommen. Nichts, alles war prima.
• Andenet (8/5): Great place, grounds and location to tour around Piedmont on a long weekend. - The location was beautiful. Carlotta and family team were delightful. They found out after the fact that a bottle of wine my wife and I had ordered was overpriced. They informed me after check out and proceeded to refund me the difference promptly. I was touched. It’s an old house with high ceilings. Do not expect too cozy nor modern fixtures. We enjoyed the historic context and were ok with slightly cooler temperatures etc.

Il primo impatto con questa dimora storica, che abbiamo scoiperto avere ospitato personaggi veramente illustri della storia italiana è da mozzare il fiato, ma l'interno non tradisce le aspettative, anzi lascia ancora più di stucco per la quantità di reperti storici e opere d'arte L'abbiamo usata come pernottamento per la seconda tappa sul cammino di Oropa e, al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato una mostra di pittura con annesso rinfresco e serata musicale Host gentilissima La struttura è molto curata, silenziosa, quindi permette un riposo assoluto e ha dettagli di alto livello. È come dormire tra la bellezza di un museo, ovunque poni lo sguardo incontri ARTE. Villa storica incantevole ma soprattutto autentica. Carlotta e Pier ti fanno sentire come se fossi a casa ed è un' esperienza che rimane impressa. Buonissima la prima colazione e molto attento e cordiale il servizio. Restare per una sola notte!

Il luogo è molto particolare, ricco di storia, l'originalità e autenticità dell'arredamento d'epoca contribuisce a rendere unico il soggiorno, creando un'esperienza d'alto livello. E' un luogo incantato, ben gestito dalla signora Carlotta. Gli eventuali 'limiti' non sono da intendere come tali ma come elementi coerenti con la filosofia della struttura. Faccio un esempio: nelle camere non è presente il televisore, ma se ci fosse, sarebbe solo un elemento di inutile disturbo e totalmente fuori contesto. La struttura è ben gestita, la colazione è curata e ricca di prodotti di qualità. L'unico suggerimento che mi sento di dare è di ampliare il ventaglio di letture presenti in stanza, variando maggiormente generi e tipologia di libri.

• Roch (10/5): Magique - Aimer ne caractérise pas vraiment mon ressenti, je serai plus sur « adoré » la bienveillance de Pierre et Charlotta. Un lieu rempli d’ondes positives, de sérénités, de calme, de naturel, de sincérité où on à la chance de pouvoir s’imprégner du vécu de cette maison. Un moment que l’on ne pourrait oublier car hors du temps et de nos tracasseries journalières. Concernant le petit-déjeuner, sur mesure et bien sûr délicieux. Juste mercis mille fois. À bientôt Rien ou peut-être une petite bouteille d’eau dans la chambre serait très appréciable car en ce qui me concerne, à moto on a pas trop l’occasion de se désaltérer quand on roule.

• H. (8/5): Alter Charme in grüner Umgebung - Villa mit freundlichem Ehepaar als Gastgeber, voller kultureller Besonderheiten und dem speziellen Flair antiker Bauwerke aus der Gründerzeit. Es ist immer schwer, ein solches Gebäude rundherum sauber und gepflegt zu halten. Die laufenden Restaurierungs- und Renovierungsarbeiten sind dabei eine besondere Schwierigkeit.

Very friendly hotel owner who is part of the hotel. Great place to stay if you want to feel like a count or baron 100 years ago. You only need to be aware that this is not your "ordinary" typical hotel, but a place you stay when you appreciate the historic aspect and can appreciate that such locations still exist. Breakfast was "typical" italian only, meaning very sweet and sugary.

Soggiornare in una villa della fine 800 rimasta intatta dei suoi arredi è un esperienza che assolutamente consiglio . Un ringraziamento particolare alla padrona di casa la signora Carlotta che ci ha accolto in maniera impeccabile. Grazie mille per aver reso il nostro soggiorno nella sua affascinante casa ancora più piacevole.
• Marie-Helene (8/5): Voyage dans le temps dans un très beau domaine dans son jus. - Le cadre et le charme d’antan. Le cadre du petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. Le rapport qualité prix. Quelques petites améliorations peu coûteuses permettraient de rendre ce séjour plus confortable et qualitatif: un petit réfrigérateur neuf (celui de la chambre était vraiment trop vieux avec une prise fondue donc nous n’avons pas souhaité l’utiliser car semblait dangereux). La nourriture au petit déjeuner n’est pas assez qualitative pour le type de tourisme ciblé: c’est une clientèle qui aime l’authentique et le frais (pas des produits industriels en sachet ni jus de fruits bas de gamme).

Les propriétaires sont férus d’art et nous ont chaleureusement accueillis. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. La chambre familiale est parfaite avec des enfants. Le site propose aussi des expositions. Rien !

It has a treasure trove of fittings and art inside and the hosts are lovely, friendly and breakfast overlooking the mountains was a delight. She even provided a kettle and tray with English breakfast tea. Breakfast was lovely and fresh . I include a photo. We took our dog Stanley and he loved the gardens. Nothing.

We had our own terrace with a mountain view. Large bathroom, large bedroom. Comfortable beds. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Just an amazing place to visit. Would recommend to anybody.

Vriendelijke eigenares van dit prachtige huis. Jammer dat we ‘s avonds daar niet konden eten. De badkamer is mooi maar wel verouderd, maar hoort bij de stijl van het huis.

Een badkamer, prachtig en groot, maar precies zoals toen (bad op pootjes, bidet, dikke kranen enz., zonder douche), hele grote slaapkamer, prachtige oude veranda waar het ontbijt wordt geserveerd door een lieve gastvrouw. Je moet ervan houden, het is écht voor de liefhebber, maar dan is het ook puur genieten. Oké, geen douche, geen airco maar wel hoge kamers met dikke muren en prachtige luiken.

• Denis (10/5): Awesome and hugely enjoyable - This villa is a truly awesome place and Carlotta, who runs the show, is a special human being. It is, in effect, a living museum and an art gallery all in one. The rooms are palatial, the balcony vast and every where you looked there were interesting furniture and artefacts. Carlotta served us an excellent breakfast and our dog enjoyed the impressive gardens that surround the villa. There is a very good value restaurant across the road where we had a simple but very well cooked meal in the evening. It is quite an experience at the villa and we will certainly be returning. nothing to report, here it was all good

• Wilhelm (10/5): Wer sich für ein paar Tage in der Zeit zurückversetzen möchte, sollte dort Station machen. - Wir waren mit unseren Hund unterwegs und wurden herzlichst empfangen. Unser Hund hat den Park genossen, da es hier für ihn keine Einschränkungen gab. Dies galt auch für das, passend zum Gesamtensemble, eingerichtete Wohnhaus. Das gesamte Haus ist mit Möbeln aus der Zeit um das 19/20 Jahrhundert eingerichtet und mit moderner Kunst ausgestattet. Der Kontrast ist inspirierend. Die Seele des Hauses ist Carlotta.

• Larisa (9/5): - The villa is just something else, original atmosphere with lots of antique furniture and new art instalations, rooms are huge and the park and views great. Owners very friendly and helpful. Dogs enjoyed the park and were allowed mostly everywhere.

• Paul (3/5): Impressive property from a distance; but very disappointing on closer examination. - This property has the potential to be a superb accommodation. The grounds are expansive and there are some nice views. There is safe and secure parking on site. Carlotta is a very friendly, kind and helpful hostess. We really wanted to like this place. However, unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with the standard of our so-called, King Suite. The two single beds were both very uncomfortable, and one of the bedheads was damaged and stained (see photo). Moreover, one of the additional bed coverings in the wardrobe had some disturbing stains (see photo). The old curtains in the bathroom were also badly stained and should have been discarded years ago (see photos). The room was also extremely cold because the heaters had been permanently turned off. The breakfast was minimal at best. This was an extremely disappointing experience.
• Luciana (7/5): Diferente e exótico modo de se hospedar - A Villa é um local muito bonito para quem aprecia arte e antiguidade clássica , é realmente uma experiência muito interessante para se conhecer, fomos muito bem recebidos pelo casal proprietários da antiga mansão que possui muita história de família, realmente uma experiência muito diferente.... Como fomos no inverno eu digo que não é tão confortável a questão de tomar banho pois a água demora muito para esquentar e não tem aquecedor nos quartos que são muito grandes...apesar de que a proprietária nos fornece bolsa de água quente para por nos pés... e isso ajudou muito!!

Feels like fertile If you have back pain , probably you may have issues with the mattress. Also the carpet on the wooden floor is very slippery , you have to watch your steps.

Warm welcome, incredible atmosphere. Just keep in mind that it’s a 19th-century castle, so it’s better to come with small children in the summer — the thick villa walls offer great shelter from the heat, and that’s exactly what we plan to do!

• idevox (10/5): Full immersion nella Storia... - Abbiamo pernottato solo una notte ma l'emozione di aver trascorso i due giorni in una dimora tanto ricca di storia, come vivere dentro a un museo, tanta è la bellezza dei locali e dell'arredamento risalenti alla metà del novecento sapientemente conservati; per questo ringraziamo la sensibilità della sig.ra Carlotta che ci ha accolto e coccolato durante la nostra breve ma intensa permanenza. Tanta arte e tanta bellezza circondati da un incantevole giardino hanno completato la nostra soddisfazione. Capire il funzionamento delle stupefacenti rubinetterie (piccole opere d'arte) che essendo datate ma ancora perfettamente funzionanti ci hanno creato qualche difficoltà in principio dell'uso.
• Olaf Bons (10/5): Leven als een koninklijk gezin. - Dit is echt een unieke slaapplek, prachtig in een mooi paleis vol met kunst. Elke ochtend ontbijt je heerlijk als een koninklijk gezin in een prachtige kamer bij de openhaard. Enorm lieve gastheer en gastvrouw die met goede tips komen wat er in de buurt te doen is. Ook was het erg fijn dat onze jonge kinderen heerlijk door het gebouw mochten lopen om alles te ontdekken.
