We'd like to especially thank Berta who helped us in many different ways, first for the room, but also to organize different activities in Budapest. Unfortunately, the lovely restaurant that was part of the hotel is now a Lebanese, Syrian style which was a little disappointing as we had loved dining there previously. However, there are many restaurants around so it was not really an inconvenience..

• Sema (7/5): It felt more like a 3-star hotel than a 4-star one. - The location is very central. It is very close to the Opera and the Basilica. The room was large and spacious, and the breakfast was also good by European standards. In addition, the staff were friendly and helpful. On Booking, the check-out time was shown as 12:00, but when I asked, they said it was actually 11:00. To make up for this difference, they were helpful and allowed me a late check-out. That was nice. I chose this property based on its location and review scores. It was centrally located, but it did not fully meet my expectations. The internet connection was extremely poor, and I could not get my work done. Also, the TV in the room did not have Netflix or YouTube. I used to think these things were not very important during a vacation, but I realized they actually are. Because of the bad weather and being sick, I had to stay in the room for a few days, and then I understood how important they were. There was no proper internet and nothing to watch on TV. This is not acceptable for a 4-star hotel.

The rooms are very nicely designed with a great bed. The staff is friendly and will help you with anything. The only thing that could use a little help is the breakfast. Even though there are lots of items to pick from, there should be some more fruit option. Also there was no granola and the eggs should have been tastier.

Loved budapest and would stay here again. 5mins walk to st stephens and 10mins walk to the chain bridge.

Berta’s customer service skills were awesome and her attitude was simply perfect. The hotel is really very good indeed and everything is so clean and sophisticated. We would definitely recommend this hotel to any discerning visitors. The restaurant is also well worth a visit, we ate there twice!

• chrisoD1648JN (8/5): Great place for our 4 night stay - Great central location walkable to many attractions. Quiet so good for sleep. Lounge for coffee and tea 24 hours was a bonus. The room was a reasonable size and the bed and pillows comfortable. It was cleaned daily. Shower was good. We bought our own shower gel as tubes provided were very small. Staff were pleasant especially reception and so were cleaning staff friendly too. The Zenobia restaurant serves good food. Breakfast is varied although hot food usually cold and bacon hard.

The location was right on the Andrassy street and easy to get to many sites. The beds are super comfortable and the mattresses and bedding have all been updated, so a very good sleep. Not only is it located near the city center, it's within walking distance to some of the best restaurants, luxury stores, but also sites, like the Parliament, St. Stevens basilica, and the castle district. The people at Hotel Moments were friendly, easy to talk to, and provides great customer service. They made our restaurant reservations, gave us a map, and lent us converters to use! Another plus? Their breakfast is included and truly Budapest unique.

Servicen var helt fremragende og startet allerede tre måneder før ankomst. Hotellet var utrolig imøtekommende og kreative da jeg planla en bursdagsoverraskelse til min reisevenninne. De ordnet alt fra en spesifikk ølsort i vinkjøler til nydelige blomster, fruktfat og et personlig kort på rommet. Ellers holdt frokosten en meget høy standard og ga oss en perfekt start på dagen. Rommene var rene, pene og hadde generelt veldig god standard. Her føler man seg virkelig ivaretatt! Ingenting å utsette på oppholdet – alt fungerte perfekt for oss.

• EC_Inversnecky (10/5): Lovely - We really enjoyed our stay, it is a beautiful hotel, the staff are lovely, the breakfasts were excellent, it is very central and we were able to walk to most of what we wanted to see, or jump on public transport also nearby. The restaurant extends to an excellent seating area in front of the hotel, great for enjoying some fresh air and watching the world go by. If I am being very picky, noise travels, from both outside passers-by and other residents doors opening and closing in other rooms, ok let's call it slamming, some people are so unaware of others! It's still a 5 though!

The restaurant downstairs is delicious. And doubles as the breakfast room in the mornings. Would recommend for sure . Not much to dislike. The bed was on the firmer side than other hotels in our travels but still comfortable.

There was a great selection of food and drinks for breakfast and also an area within the hotel where you could grab a coffee or water throughout the day which added a great touch. They were able to get my elderly parents into a room immediately even though we were there quite early. The room was large, immaculate and comfortable and our included breakfast was wonderful, with lots of delicious hot and cold options to choose from. The hotel is located on a wide, leafy boulevard in a rather upscale part of the city. The opera house was less than a five minute walk away and there were several cafes and restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here if we are ever in Budapest again. Everything was wonderful. No complaints at all.

• GraceM100 (10/5): Quiet and serene. - We stayed at Moments for 2 nights before a Viking cruise and loved the hotel. The location was perfect…close enough to major landmarks, but also quiet and serene. Front desk was so nice and helpful. We stayed in the Basilica suite. It was large and comfortable and we really enjoyed the large balcony with a view of the Basilica. Breakfast was nice with hot and cold buffet items. Would highly recommend.

The service was wonderful — staff were friendly and attentive, and they surprised us with wine and chocolate for the birthday, which made it extra special. Loved the free coffee and tea available all day, plus snacks during tea time — such a nice touch. Beautiful hotel and perfect for a celebration. Highly recommended!

Breakfast - The food isn’t hot it’s like Luke warm. Location of hotel is excellent But noise from traffic was to loud. Also people in the early hours shouting was to much for me I had sleepless nights. Spoilt my stay… That’s why I’ve given good and not excellent
• 883garrys (10/5): A comfortable and enjoyable stay. - Great location on the main avenue in the city and very close to the centre and river front. A relaxing and calming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, offering advice on dining and tours etc. The rooms were a good size with comfy beds and an excellent shower. Breakfast selection was also very good, plenty of options and nicely presented. Thanks to the hotel for the prosecco and chocolate, which was in my room on arrival, a nice gesture to celebrate for 60th birthday. We had a lovely stay and I would highly recommend the Moments Hotel.

• Destination501175 (10/5): Great Hotel! Great Stay! - This was our first trip to Budapest - and Hotel Moments - and neither disappointed!! What a wonderful hotel! Warm and inviting and lovely. Our room was comfortable and having extra seating made all the difference. The windows opened and although our room faced Andrassy Blvd which was busy, we had fresh air when we wanted it and once the windows were closed, it was completely soundproof. The room was very clean and well appointed and we wanted for nothing. The staff was so helpful and always generous with their time if we did need anything. The breakfast was wonderful and more than fueled us for a day of exploring and the location of the hotel couldn't be beat. We walked a lot!! Great restaurants nearby and easy to get to all the sights. If we didn't walk, we just ordered a ride through Bolt and a car was there in minutes. And just about everyone speaks English so there is an immediate comfort zone. There was a lovely lobby and adjoining seating area for tea and coffee 24/7 and afternoon tea. A special "thank you" to Zsofia and Szabi at the front/receptionist desk. They were both so welcoming and so willing to help with questions and give us guidance. They always went the extra mile which is what true hospitality is all about. Our stay exceeded our expectations. How often does that happen??!! Thank you to all!
• 548belak (10/5): Excellent and comfortable stay. - I had a wonderful stay here. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by the beautiful hotel. At reception, Kinga welcomed me kindly and was very helpful and friendly. The room was also very nice, practical and comfortable. The breakfast area was cozy, and the breakfast itself was delicious and varied. Everything was excellent from arrival to departure. I would love to come back and highly recommend this hotel, it won’t disappoint.
• richOBphoto (10/5): Excellent. Again. - Our first visit to Budapest since before lockdown, and having stayed at Hotel Moments then it was the de facto choice for this visit. Once again, we weren't disappointed. After a rather unpleasant 90-minutes getting through passport control (courtesy of the new EES system), to arrive at the hotel it immediately felt calm and quiet. Throughout our stay the staff were lovely and friendly and helpful - really couldn't fault them. The room was very comfortable albeit a little on the small side (we had to do some rearranging in the bathroom to get our toiletries on the shelf so neither of us had to live out of their washbag), but there was everything you'd need - Nespresso machine, safe, plenty of sockets (including USB and USB-C). Breakfast was served in the Zenobia restaurant each morning and was a fairly typical European breakfast experience. Pay attention to the 'breakfast busy times' sign in the lifts as they're spot on! The hotel's in a great spot just 5 minutes walk from the bottom of Andrassy Ut, and puts you about 30 minutes from Heroes Square, 10-15 from the Jewish Quarter, about the same to the river. All in all, a great stay, and next time we're in Budapest, this'll be at the top of the list.

Beautiful interior lobby, nice breakfast, friendly staff, variety of pillow options. Very easy walk to AirPort Express shuttle. If I had to say anything it might be that the breakfast lacked variety day to day.

• kristin_nikolaevna (10/5): Incredible - Really excellent hotel in a fantastic, central location on Andrássy Boulevard. The building itself is beautiful, renovated by renowned Hungarian architects, and they’ve done a great job preserving its original charm. The suites are spacious and some come with small balconies overlooking the boulevard, which makes for a great morning coffee spot. The sound insulation is impressive and everything feels calm and quiet inside. Breakfast is generous with a wide selection. But the real standout is the staff. They’re warm, proactive, and consistently go the extra mile; helping with an early check-in when we arrived with a toddler, warming milk early in the morning, and just generally making everything easy. Honestly, one of those stays where everything just works. Strong 10/10.
