Daily room maintenance perfect and clean. Not excessive noise and what would be expected at this type of resort. Service in the bar and restaurant excellent. Particular mention of those who stood out as helpful and hard working members of staff are Danelle for her enterprising work in preparing the beach each morning. Greg the bar person who was always happy and helpful. Destiny for her engaging personality and good humour in the restaurant. The omelette makers, and Management staff Koffi and Nicholai and Jezz the Beach and bar attendant.
- TravellerGoole (8/5): Wonderful Christmas Holiday - Spent Christmas at The Sands. The room overlooking the garden and pool was spacious. The staff were hardworking and went out of their way to ensure your holiday was going well. There was always something we liked in the restaurant, the pastry chef was amazing. Plenty of sunbeds, even when the hotel got full towards the end of our stay. Beds are reserved and left but staff put out another bed. Overall we had a really good holiday and would return.
- c_kerry778 (4/5): BE AWARE - I was at the Sands hotel from 12 to 15 th Dec as part of a cruise package. ( Imagine Cruising). The hotel was a disaster- the cruise brilliant. 1 On arrival shown to a ground floor apartment— No hot water! No hot water for 3 mornings we were there! Management disinterested! 2. A/C in lounge broken. 3 Only 1 of 2 ceiling fans working in lounge. 4. Numerous cupboards but most of them locked 5. Approach to room was down a dingy ,dirty corridor used by the cleaners 6So called music kicked off at 10 am - went on till 11 pm in one form or another. . No where was free for a quiet read and to enjoy views of the sea. 6.Food was mediocre at best ! 7. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful but 10% of them were non communicative and had attitude problem.. 8 The pool is a waste of time! Depth range from ankle height at one end to waist height at other 9. Speciality restaurant not open. We stayed in room 69.. We’ve stayed in numerous 4 star hotels around the Carribean. This hotel is nowhere near their standard! BE AWARE
- Pengwen22 (4/5): Don't stay at this hotel unless you have to - Booked this hotel for a 1 night stay and Im glad it was only 1 night. Bad mannered reception staff. Only place to eat was poor.
- BrentJ512 (10/5): Nice Beach Hotel - The Sands is a very nice, small hotel and ideal for exploring the local area. First appearances are very deceptive with the entrance and reception resembling a motel, but money has been spent on rooms which are large, spacious and very comfortable. The hotel literally runs onto a white sand beach and there was no problems with sun beds during our stay. The restaurant is unusual in that there’s a buffet breakfast - when you are asked for times to book lunch and dinner, even though tables were readily available during our weeks stay. The food quality was variable and there appeared to be no logic in when lunch and/or dinner was buffet or set menu. We found out by accident that there is a cooked snack menu throughout the day which needs to be better advertised. Easy access into Bridgetown or Oisten by bus, taxi or - if you want to try local transportation the Reggae Bus. These are mini buses stopping when you want to get on, and will drop you off where you want. Loud reggae music for the journey and, as an example, the cost is 2 US$ per person to go into Bridgetown. The reception, cleaning and management staff are very friendly and helpful although, in our experience, the younger bar staff need to learn how to deal with paying guests from the excellent Jacqueline, whilst the unsmiling restaurant staff need to learn from the excellent example set by Cyrilene. We really enjoyed our week at the Sands and would return.
- Pylesy (10/5): Great Week of Winter Sun - The location of this hotel on the beach is superb. We had a two bedroom apartment on the ground floor looking out to sea. The management and supervisors were friendly and efficient but some of the other staff could do with more training. Some of them gave the impression that we were an inconvenience. An example: we asked three times for coffee. Tea arrived. After that the coffee was delivered without eye contact or a word spoken. The food was good. Be aware that you can order steak a day in advance and that burgers, fish and chicken are available from the grill during the day. Noir restaurant was slightly disappointing. This was because we were expecting something very special but it was no better than the main restaurant. But this is because the main restaurant is very good anyway! A table for lunch and dinner has to be booked at breakfast and both are either a la carte or buffet - it varies day by day. Some days the music near the pool was too loud but generally you can have a restful day and you are not pestered to join any activities. We tried the pool once. It was usually empty. The “ deep” end is about four foot deep and it shelves to nothing. The water was clean not salty nor full of chlorine. Sun beds were always available and beach towels can be collected and exchanged from the beach office. Location of the hotel is great. Not far from the airport and a short walk from St. Lawrence gap and a short taxi ride to Oistins - $18 US. We needed a room for our 18:00 departure. Our choice was to have our room, free of charge until 15:00 or a courtesy room bookable for 30 mins at 17:00. We chose the latter and were shown on time to the clean courtesy room complete with fresh towels. Smoking and vaping in public areas is not allowed. ( a government not hotel rule). There is an outdoor smoking area not far from the pool and bar where you can sit in peace! Overall, this is a very good hotel worthy of its 5 star reviews.

- 880elainei (10/5): Wonderful stay - Had a wonderful 10 night stay, our 2nd visit this year. Excellent staff - Bar: Antonio who made us the best mudslide we have tasted. David, Tyrone & Steven who are just amazing. Front desk are all really friendly & approachable, special shout out to Ricardo who is a credit to this hotel. Housekeeping did a wonderful job of keeping our room clean & tidy. The beach boys work really hard to ensure beds, umbrellas as well as the kayaks & paddle boards are ready for guests. Food - Nice selection, but often not quite warm enough. Lack of bananas at breakfast which is unusual for the Caribbean. Location - Great location, close to the Gap & a short bus ride to Bridgetown. Thank you all !! - My review is a little late as I visited in August but me and my family had an amazing time at the sands and there’s not a day I wish I wasn’t back there ! I honestly could not recommend it more the staff were amazing and the view from the beach was absolutely stunning! During the day the staff run excellent activities, shout out to Micheal who just always goes out of his way to make sure your having a good time and can get involved with any of the activities like beach cricket and football. During your stay you can also borrow a kayak and or paddle board and go out on the water get a great view of the turtles that swim around! While we were there, there was a sea weed issue but with the help of the great lads at the activity station , Jayden, Ramario and Jakeel as well as some of the other guest we cleared it up in no time, which I have to admit was actually a lot of fun ! The boys in blue (the activity lads ) are always down to chat and play games and there were just really nice guy and made my holiday so much more fun! When you sit down for food the staff are so friendly and bring you drinks as often as they can. Crystal was the absolute best her sense of humour was amazing and she helped solve an issue we had with food. If you head over to the bar there’s some really friendly and funny staff who will have a joke and make you some amazing cocktails, Barbie and jezheel make the best cocktails and Antonio, Danny and Justin were just really funny guys to chat to even the humour among the staff just made it a fun place to be. Even the security were lovely to be about! They would chat to you and it created a nice safe environment! Morgan and kenesha where so friendly I found myself missing them if they weren’t on shift. One staff member, Jezheel was absolutely amazing he gave me loads of recommendations of places to eat and he was always really helpful greeting everyone with a smile! Much like Morgan and kenesha I found myself missing him when he wasn’t on shift, the vibe he brings to the hotel is genuinely unmatched, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone work so hard and look so happy doing it ! I really can’t give enough credit to the staff, the hotel was nice but most hotels are, the reason I would go back to the sands if for the staff, never have I been on holiday and felt like I made so many friends, I can’t wait to go back !!

The food entertainment, staff, rooms everything have been perfect. A special mention to Nikolai who has made our trip!! We will see you in the UK next year. The rooms were cleaned everyday and fully air conditioned the location is also perfect 5 minutes to St Lawrence Gap where there is bars and restaurants. We visited Holetown, Oistins on the Friday which was great. Everyone is so friendly and we will 100% be back.

- Dini79 (10/5): Love this resort!!! - The hotel surpassed all my expectations! The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The room was clean, and the ocean view was splendid. The hotel’s location was amazing – only a few minutes walk from St Lawrence Gap. Beautiful beach which is also a great spot to watch the sunset. The food options were also quite tasty. I will certainly return during my next visit!
- glendonl2024 (8/5): Anniversary Holiday - On arrival at the hotel, we had to wait 3-4 hours for our room to be made ready. This definitely wasn't a good start. The hotel had already booked us all in the restaurant for lunch, which eased some of the tension from the arriving guests. Around 16:00, Ricardo came for us to take us to our room. When he opened the door and we walked into the room, our hearts sank, and our demeanour changed from excitement to disbelief. We walked into what seemed like a cupboard. There was no natural light coming into the room. The bed was on the right. The dresser, chair, and fridge were on the left. They were all within touching distance of each other without having to move. And the bathroom was just at the rear. There was no room for us to move around and nowhere to sit apart from sitting on the bed. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, but not where we wanted to spend the next 10 days of our second honeymoon. This was one of Virgin super saver rooms, which we had on our first honeymoon, which was a lot better as it still had a veranda with plenty of natural light. The room on this holiday had a window with privacy glass that faced an outside wall, so even during the day, you would have had to keep a light on in the room. When we went for dinner that evening, I put a complaint in with the reception which happened to be Emerson, and asked if we could be moved to another room. Nothing else was available that evening, so we had no choice but to sleep in that room. We were so upset to think that we would have to spend our entire second honeymoon in that room, and if that was the case, we thought about forgoing our honeymoon and going home. Luckily, the next day Emerson told us a different room would be coming available, but it would cost us nearly an extra £700. This was the only option, we had no choice but to pay it even though this took a lot of our holiday money that we had budgeted for. When we went to see the new room, we were absolutely astounded. The room wasn't just a room, it was more like an apartment. It was so spacious, bright, airy and modern. We loved it and knew we would enjoy staying there. There were certain members of staff that couldn't do enough for you to make sure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. These staff included Emerson and assistant manager Rebecca, who were wonderful. Mark and Ricardo could never do enough for us. Mark was part of the hospitality team. He always greeted you with smile and making sure all was OK. Ricardo (a very handsome young man according to my wife) would also check in with us daily to make sure we were happy with everything. On the day of our anniversary Emerson arranged for some flowers to be delivered via an outside floris. And the hotel gave us a bottle of champagne. All setup nicely in the living room with flower petals. My wife could not hold her emotions. Brilliant absolutely fantastic anniversary. The food in the restaurant was ok nothing special and not much to choose from lunch or dinner. You have a decent choices of breakfast. The only problem is that you might have to wait awhile for omelette or scrabble eggs. Time could be saved if the mixture already prepared in a bowl an extra in the fridge just in case you run out. That would save plenty of time. There is a burger man that comes some days which isn't too bad. The catering team are always welcoming. The bar staff will mix whatever drinks or cocktails you want. I can't comment on the beer as I'm not a beer drinker. The hotel is kept clean and tidy throughout the day. There's plenty to drink. Some the excursion can be expensive. The mini van buses are cheep enough if you want to travel. There is a supermarket just outside the hotel which is not too expensive. Just a few negatives that we have. 1. Some of the front of house staff could be more approachable and more helpful with your needs. 2. More activities through the day. 3. Try cleaning the seaweed on the beach especially on a calm day. That being said we would definitely consider going back to The Sands if wanted another holiday in Barbados.

I recall many moons ago staying there when it was the sandy beach hotel. The place is well maintained. A little challenging arriving before check in time ( 4Pm ). I paid an early check in fee . The all inclusive experience was average. One restaurant and one bar. The staff was was way above average and went far to make my trip enjoyable. Shout out to olivia from the dining area.The room was comfortable and well kept. The entertainment was great. Amazing artists on friday and saturday night. Very different artist but both very talented. The star of the resort is the white sandy beach and calm bathing. Incredible location. In my view, and I have stayed in many places, the best beach in barbados. I will certainly be back.

The accommodation was great and the team friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a delight and we loved the daily local specials. We even saw a couple get married on the beach under a coconut tree in what could only be called a picture perfect event!

Got in room bed was broken and had to be replaced within 10 mins of getting in there!! There are no handles or bars to help you get into the pool, so if you struggle or need support your on your own I did inform staff and absolutely nothing was done to try and help, so I spent my time with NO access into the pool!! Food was hit and miss, breakfast acceptable but if you want cooked tomatoes you might get them once in a week if you’re lucky! Lunch was either a buffet or à la carte both with very minimal choices! Didn’t venture to the Noir restaurant as I only had flip flops and they are not aloud in there! Best thing about this hotel was the location,

- V8976JIneilh (4/5): Not the all inclusive experience we were expecting - We spent 12 days at the Sands and for an all inclusive hotel I can honestly say it was the worse one we have ever used. The room/apartment we had was okay with the exception of never having any hot water in our bathroom shower/sink. The restaurant catered for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the breakfast offering being self-service buffet which to be fair offered a good selection of options for the first meal of the day but the lunch and dinner options varied ad-hoc from a la carte/sit down and buffet with you never knowing what was on the menu until you arrived. The a la carte menus offered very little choice and even though generally the food was cooked and presented well the portions were incredibly small. The restaurant itself was a covered area and open around the sides with lots of birds continuosly flying in to grab food off plates - I also had the unfortunate experience of one defacating on me when sat at a table! - during the day the was a bbq set up to offer burgers, hotdogs and chicken wings between around 11am to 4pm with also chips available from the restaurant if you decided not to eat in the restaurant or top up from the small a la carte dinner you may have had! The hotel also has another restaurant called 'Noir' which offers (or so they claim) a higher level eating experience in the evening which guests can book once a week to eat in. We booked it on our arrival to coincide with our 30th Wedding anniversary. After my wife had spent a considerable time getting ready we turned up at the restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted and congratulated by the manageress that it was our anniversary and started to proceed to our table when she stopped us and said that the flip-flops my wife were wearing was unacceptable to wear in the restaurant and that she had to change them if we were to eat that evening! - ironically this was being said by a person who herself was wearing a pair of tatty scuffed black style slippers! - it is not surprising that we felt incredibly insulted by this incident and simply walked out and never returned. The hotel only had one bar facility incorporated on the edge of the restaurant facility and offered a limited amount of soft drinks (basically coke and ginger beer) and one type of beer (Banks - the local brew which I found quite weak and gassy) - I do not drink spirits so cannot comment on what was or not available but my wife did have a few cocktails that she appeared content with. The entertainment was very limited - the complex had no generic game facilities such as a pool table or any other activities apart from a giant 'four in a row' situated by the pool which nobody used. Evening entertainment were basically different local singers turning up every night singing to backing tracks which got a bit boring to watch/listen to unless you wanted to hear continuos renditions of Bob Marley hits and general female orientated Soul music! The only day time activities we witnessed was one session of aqua-arobics that happened in the pool on the tenth day of our stay and a colouring/painting session offered to kids on the same day. The only place to relax and have drinks in the evening was the bar by the restaurant however when it started to rain there was nowhere else to go - no covered area apart from the parasols covering the tables which resulted in a large number of guests simply going back to their rooms as there was nowhere else to go and when the rain came down the parasols did very little to stop you getting soaked. There was also a day that the weather was pretty wet all of the day and with no other undercover facility available meant a lot of guests having to spend the day in the rooms. There are a few other issues we encountered with plates being taken away from us while still eating in the restaurant, having to wait up to 30 minutes between courses, ordering drinks that never arrived and smokers only allowed to smoke in two areas of the complex (one at the very far side of the main entertainment area and at the front of the hotel - no smoking was even allowed on the balcanies of the room which were open air!) We found the staff very friendly (apart from the manageress of Noir!) and if you intend to go on holiday to diet, enjoy weak gassy beer, listen to reggae music sung karioke style, enjoy cold showers, give up smoking and happy to watch american news channels in your room on rainy days then this may be the place for you!

We booked a signature room which stated pool or garden view when we spoke to management she said well we are fully booked however I had emailed well in advance that it was a special occasion and she said well yes but…, the restaurant service was terrible the management at the restaurant was awful even told us to go away until they were ready at mealtimes! Past the opening times. We don’t mind relaxed times but the attitude was quite second to none( who paid for the holiday ?!) there were some lovely members of staff but tbf I wonder if this hotel looks after their staff as after 4 visits I would say the worst and the staff don’t appear to be looked after the way I have seen in the past and I feel the manager is passing the buck rather than taking accountability to resolve issues

- NickJFuri (8/5): Good Resort minus the food. - Stayed here Oct 4-18. Check inn was a breeze. The room i got was massive 2 floors. It's true from previous reviews that the bottom floor stays war. The air worked for the upstairs fine. The shower was fine so was the toilet. The grounds are well kept and the pool is nice and warm! The beach is nice also but not very big if you like to go for walks. No problems getting beds. The food... eek!!! Not sure why people rave about it? It's bad and the service even worse! Im not a pickey person but when you order coffee everyday and it takes 3 times to ask that s a problem!!! The bar staff and everyone else is great except the restaurant staff! They roll their eyes when you ask for something. We ate out most nights up the street on the strip. Overall the hotel is just good and would put it as a 3 star. Close to shops and St. Lawrence Gap where the night comes alive, a short drive to Oistins, Bridgetown, etc. The hotel has everyday activities by the pool, at the courtyard or at the beach so its never boring. Singers and performers showcases their talent at night while everyone is having dinner. Food is delicious and almost non stop. The whole experience in The Sands is spectacular. All of the staff from the bartenders, servers, to the cleaners and security are nothing but lovely, courteous. Michael and the other managers are very accommodating, helpful and dedicated to the guests. They actually get to know their guests which is a good thing. We will definitely come back.

- Simplythebest34 (10/5): Don’t Worry - Be Happy - This was my first visit to Barbados and I can honestly say I had a fantastic time!! When you see pictures of the Caribbean sometimes they look ‘too good to be true’, but in this case the reality was absolutely fabulous. The reception staff were very welcoming and our room was amazing. The restaurant and bar staff were attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. At the time of my stay the pool was out of use, however we were offered a package of activities for free that we were able to take advantage of - A visit to the beach of a sister hotel A tour of the island A catamaran experience Oistins Friday Fish Fry We also visited St Lawrence Gap and visited a local mall during our visit. Harrison’s cave was another excellent experience for us, as well as going to Harbour Lights on our last night to watch a show and have dinner. The cuisine in Barbados was of good quality and the fish, in particular, the blue marlin was well worth waiting for. I hope to return to Barbados to experience more from this small island in the Caribbean with so much style, class and a welcoming smile. !!

They took the time to learn our names, remembered small details about our preferences, and always checked in to make sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. The locations is perfect.
- Cre4m (10/5): Wonderful time at The Sands with friends. - We were initially concerned because of some of the reviews we read before coming. I can gladly say that we are a group of fussy ladies who like quiet luxury, good food and good customer service. The sands didn’t disappoint, we had a very clean modern apartment, sheets and towels changed daily (obviously you can opt out of this), bathrobes provided, plenty of staff all around the hotel and everyone very willing to help with anything we needed. We felt very looked after. Yes there is no A/C in the living area but the bedroom A/C is SO good you can just leave it on and keep the bedroom door open and it WILL keep the whole apartment cool. Thanks to Jackie who gave us this tip. The beach is small but clean and minimal seaweed, always beds available and fresh towels, drinks bought to your Sun bed if you so desired and the sea was warm just as you would expect in the Caribbean. Water sports were available, cricket on the beach, and the staff were so accommodating with activities. Food was really good and was switched between buffet and a la cart. The fine dining restaurant NOIR was a lovely experience with excellent food and service. Some constructive feedback we would offer was the entertainment. We wished there were more nights that reflected the Bajan culture. All the singers were very talented though and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Shout out to Jackie, Nikolai, Michael, Ricardo, Jakeel, Kemal, Tasha (restaurant), Junior (restaurant), Khadijah, and every single member of staff that we interacted with, you know who you are and we are sorry we didn’t get all of your names! So accommodating, helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The bar team… wow, wow, wow! David, Jakeel and Steven we absolutely LOVE you! 🍹 Your energy made every evening unforgettable. A huge thank you to Nikolai, who always checked in on us, shared the best recommendations, and made sure we felt safe and welcome throughout our stay. The biggest shoutout of all goes to Michael from Guest Services 🙌. He was incredibly accommodating organising transfers to the Boatyard, planning activities, and arranging cocktail-making (one of our favourite experiences!). - Jim2702 (8/5): Everything in one place - Arrived lunchtime - check in was self service with a glass rum punch Be aware they ask for the island tax for your whole stay in advance - had to wait til 1600 for room as stated but had full use of everything We had a garden view room which was lovely and spacious - very clean with everything we needed .housekeeping was daily and to a good standard . The pool and beach were lovely with plenty of sun loungers - however pool ones start going around 7am - there is a small reef out in the sea with some fish - last 4 days of our hols we had turtles swimming past which was magical . The food we found was a very good standard - breakfast lots of variety buffet style - lunch we tended to eat from the barbecue or snack bar - evening meals some were buffet style and some a la csrte - there is also a 2nd restaurant called Noir which was fantastic ( only allowed 1,visit per week here ) Drinks were fairly good with plenty variety The staff were friendly and accommodating , A very good base for exploring .

- Michelle881122 (8/5): Staycation time! - My husband and I stayed at the Sands for 4 nights in September, first 2 nights was just us, the last 2, our 3 year old daughter joined us. We had an incredible time! Check in was easy and my whiskey sour was PERFECT! The room was lovely, spacious with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. The ac was cold and bedding plush! Let's talk about the food, Noir was incredible, had their steak twice, so tasty! And my husband's snapper was delicious and well presented. In fact, all the dishes were garnished perfectly, flavours on point! Loved the shrimp starter. Cassandra and Sherissa gave wonderful service! The buffet was great on mornings for breakfast and Keimara was terrific. We also loved the drinks by the bartender with plaits/cornrows. Kemar and Jackie were really helpful as well throughout the day, nothing was too much trouble. Lunch was good too, as well as beach football. Our daughter had a ball in the pool, love that there is a shallow area! She also loved playing with the connect 4 game on the grass. Overall, such a great way to start a vacation, can't wait to come back!

We had room 75 with panoramic views of the ocean. The restaurants are great with a good selection of food varying between al a cart and buffet for lunch and dinner. The staff are amazing from Rebecca the manager to the bar and restaurant team. Special shout out to Junior and Tanya , you both are a credit to the hotel. Plus Danny behind the bar who was pretty cool and very friendly and made a great Mudslide. The hotel itself is very clean and well presented and right on the beach, with water-sports and snorkelling. Swam with some turtles just off the beach. We will be visiting for a third time soon. Thank you the Sands for a great holiday
- PPGG2020 (10/5): Good hotel, would recommend! - A wonderful week at this hotel. The room was perfect with beautiful views. The food at the restaurant alternated between buffet and a la carte and this was actually nice to have the option to switch it up. The food in general, both in the buffet and a la carte was tasty. I am gluten free and everything was labelled with allergens which was really helpful. The Noir restaurant which you can only book once per week was a lovely treat and food and service was also excellent here. The activities run by Kemar were brilliant and a lot of fun. The bar service was sometimes a bit slow and we did wait almost 90mins for a burger ordered from the pool bar, only to find out that the waiter that took the order actually forgot to notify the kitchen. But once the order was with the kitchen, it did come out pretty quickly. This was the only minor mishap so do not let this put you off from visiting. Also a huge shout out to Ricardo, Davida, Nesa, Kemar, Kenye and Michael who all made our experience really memorable and thank you to all of the staff from housekeeping, beach service, restaurant, reception and the bar.

- Climber04993922715 (4/5): Not the 4 star experience I paid for or expected - I booked this hotel hoping for a 4-star stay, but it felt more like a tired 3-star at best. The rooms were dated and in need of a deep clean and refurbishment. Towels were worn out, and the sheets had visible stains, definitely not what you’d expect from a hotel claiming a 4* rating. The food was another major letdown. Serving spoons were left soaking in murky water, which felt unhygienic, especially in a warm buffet setting. Meals were inconsistent, either undercooked, lukewarm, or completely overdone. The egg station was run on tiny camping stoves, which was ridiculously slow. Gave up on the all inclusive we’d paid for & ate out. On the plus side, a few staff members were genuinely fantastic and made a real effort, you’ll work out who hey are. Unfortunately, others seemed indifferent and could benefit from a more welcoming attitude & maybe a smile especially in the restaurant area. Overall, this hotel needs serious attention to meet the standards it advertises. I wouldn’t recommend it unless significant improvements are made.

There was live entertainment every day and/or night and they were all very talented, a very lovely first stay for us and the topping on the cake literally was getting married on the beach, glorious surroundings and we were looked after very well, would definitely recommend.

The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking — waking up to the ocean each morning felt like a dream. A big shout out to RICARDO, NESA(from the restaurant), JOAN and Emilio(from security), STEVEN and Jez (from the bar), Monica from reception! Their friendliness and attentiveness really stood out to me and my friends which made the stay even more enjoyable. They where so lovely to our kids and really looked after them. The service overall was great and added to the comfort of the trip. I would definitely recommend The Sands to anyone visiting Barbados. It’s a beautiful spot with a lot to offer — whether you’re looking to relax, explore, or just enjoy good food with a stunning backdrop. One of the best holidays I’ve been on!

If you’re considering booking, here’s our family’s perspective. Arrival: We landed at the airport at 3:00 PM, and by 3:45 PM we were already at the hotel with refreshing welcome drinks in hand — loved it! We had just arrived from Ireland 🇮🇪 and were a bit tired 🥱 from the journey, so having the hotel so close was fantastic. 👍🏻 Reception: Open reception with free parking and a warm, warm welcome. Check-in was quick and easy with a QR code ❤️ — 15 minutes later, we were in our room with our luggage delivered. 💼 The Beach 🏝️: Absolutely to die for. We loved every single moment — the soft sand, the waves, the snorkeling… and OMG, the 🐢 turtles you get to swim with! The Room: We couldn’t have asked for a better setup — the sunset view over the beach 🏖️ was an unforgettable experience. The Food: For the first time at an all-inclusive, I was actually happy with the food. Portions were just right — perfectly sized and delicious, definitely meeting 5⭐️ expectations. The Drinks 🥤: Whatever you want, the bar has it — including premium liquors! The Hotel Deal: When you stay at The Sands, you can spend a full day at Mango 🥭 Bay Hotel on the same all-inclusive package, including a catamaran trip for the whole family — all included, no extra cost. We loved the experience, the energy, and the overall vibe. We’ll definitely return. The Team: From the manager to the room cleaner — absolutely amazing people. Be sure to leave tips in your room for the staff who aren’t directly tipped, like housekeeping. Waiters, floor staff, front desk — all were professional and kind. The Mango 🥭 Bay: We’ve already booked Mango for January/February 2026. We loved snorkeling with all the reef life and colorful fish there, plus the catamaran trip. We’ll also stay at The Sands again as part of the “stay in one, visit three hotels” deal — just to see the staff who made our Barbados experience so special. - 539zsanettg (8/5): Good all inclusive hotel - I spent a week in Barbados solo. I chose an all inclusive hotel so i wouldnt have to worry about food and drinks as a first timer in Barbados. Arrived 2 hours before check in, very jetlagged, tired and hot. I was waiting around in the lobby. I ended up getting a super one bed apartment. Separate living room/kitchen, balcony, bathroom, bedroom. It was great, clean. Fan in tje living room, aircon in the bedroom. I am very picky about hotel pillows, cant sleep on flat ,soft pillows. I had plenty to put on each other and have a good nights sleep. My room faced out towards Worthing court i think so some night were bit noisy but i sleep dead anyway. Food was nice and plenty when it was buffet, i dont mind the whole booking in for time thing. I ended up havin breakfast and dinner only most days anyway cause i was out all day. I havent tried the pool. The beach had seaweed most days but it is what it is unfortunately. Clear beaches a short bus ride away. Staff was friendly, but then again they hardly saw me🙃. Rooms were cleaned. Water is drinkable from tap and tastes nice There was entertainment but i was out every night. If you like all inclusive and stayin there then its deffo a great place.
- MichelleYam (2/5): Avoid this hotel! - After a long flight from London we arrived at the hotel at 1pm. No welcome drink and we were asked to check ourselves in on my phone. Then told can't get into room until 4pm. OK, let's go and get some food. restaurant staff reluctant to serve us, again no offer of a drink. No explanation of how the buffet works v's the fact there was also a menu (which we had to find and get ourselves!). The choices for food are limited, but when you get any it's nice enough. The drinks are all fake sugary ones, not a blended real fruit in sight. The room is spacious but run down and 'on it's last legs' but will last the week while we are here (I hope). The beach is covered in black seaweed they've made NO effort to clear and there are hazard signs marking the route to the beach, which needs a simple fix and they've just blocked it off instead of doing. Breakfast this morning - 1 poor man doing the omelettes himself, a massive queue. My children had had 3 breakfasts each before I even got to order. he was cracking an egg each time he cooked, I did ask why he didn't have a jug with the egg liquid ready to go?! The bacon was 'spotted' on someone else's plate by my husband, turns out it's hidden at the back and unless you spot it you would never know. The service at the bar for all drinks is again, 1 man on his own!! For the whole hotel. The kids wanted an ice cream at 11:30am so I went searching and was pushed from pillar to post and then told guest services would do ice cream at 2pm. Again, if I didn't go searching I would never know. The pool was shut for a while this morning due to there being glass in it... the list goes on but I think I will stop now as you surely get the picture. I don't think this hotel knows what all inclusive really means and for the price it's shocking! Go to Dubai or Asia for better, healthier, fresh food and service with a smile... all for a better price!! The more I talk to other guests, the more I learn about a) they feel the same and b) other little tips on how to get normal things on resort. I feel like there are a few nice staff members, but overall people would rather be elsewhere. It's a shame, but hey ho, 6 more days in 'paradise' (save your money).

- alisonwO1391NH (10/5): The Sands is a little piece of paradise. - My daughter and I have just returned from the best holiday ever. So glad we chose to stay at The Sands. I cannot fault the hotel or staff at all. We had a room facing down the pool to the sea. It was more like an apartment with a spacious living and kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom. The aircon was only in the bedroom. Breakfast was a buffet each morning or you could grab a freshly cooked omelette from the area set up outside. Lunch and dinner alternated between buffet and a la carte. We loved the food and got to try the different dishes they offered. We ate twice in Noir and again the food was lovely. The icing on the cake is the staff. They all go above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful holiday. Special shout out to Michael for taking care of our trips. He sorted everything out and always checked in on us. Would also like to mention Ricardo and Kemar for checking in on us. I woke up one morning with mozzie bites and Ricardo arranged for additional fogging in our room. Also thanks to Michelle who gave us brilliant room service and lastly to Joan the security officer who had the biggest smile every day. We will definitely be returning. The food was very mixed , hit and miss really , with Noir resturant , their" fine dining " experience a step up without it really being fine dining at all. The staff were mixed too with the best being a guy called "Jarzeal" i belive who was fantastic with his service on the beach for cocktails etc. Some of the "on the water "(this is their other restruarant, where you have breakfast lunch and dinner every day) staff were very polite , friendly and welcoming , in particular kyle and Joy , but the rest were average. I say this knowing its hard to get good experienced staff and most of them were young ones trying their best. The room was fine apart from a very noisey air con which did keep us awake at times. The beach was nice and right at the hotel so no travelling. The one issue was the constant presence of sea weed for the 2 weeks we were there. It got worse twords the end. Fair enough , its what happens on the south coast i belive !! Probably should have checked this out better beforehand !!!! Dont forget to visit the sands sister hotel" the mango bay" on the west coast !!! Nicer beach and food !!!! ( about 50 mins on the bus , but worth it) The music( reggae for the most part)at night beside the bar was generally good , and nice to be sipping your all inclusive coctails/beers gor an hour or two before bed !!! Would I go back ??? Nice to visit , but probably not again. Think id stay up the west coast nearer the sister hotel , nicer beach , sea and overall ambience
- victoriasK8611CX (8/5): Return visit and just as good, if not better! - Second visit for us… last time was 2 years ago. We have noticed some positive changes such as the entertainment team. They put on a couple of activities per day to keep everyone entertained - there were many more kids here than 2 years ago which was great for our 6 year old. All amenities were brilliant. We asked to change rooms due to a poor view from the balcony and they accommodated that without much fuss at all which was great. The hotel is still as idyllic as ever, great pool, beach and restaurant. All the staff are fantastic and can’t do enough for you. Lovely stay and I’m sure we’ll be back!
- Smiffy3009 (8/5): Great cheap getaway to Barbados - One week into our two week stay here at The Sands Barbados. Firstly, Barbados is a wonderful place to visit and it’s definitely on the return list. We’d rather come back here than holiday in Dubai, where we’ve been several times. So much more to do and see, loads of character with great people such makes it. Just the extra couple of hours the plane and time difference to overcome. In general, if you’re looking for a cost-effective holiday in Barbados this hotel ticks the boxes and I’d recommend it taking into account the below pro’s and con’s. Staff are friendly Small hotel, which is nice, so no big crowds. Located on the beach, although there was a little bit of seaweed around while we are here. Managed to see a couple of turtles, a ray and an eel from the hotel beach. Quality of the food is acceptable. Our two bedroom apartment is very spacious Buffet breakfast has plenty of choice and reasonable quality. Apartment is a little dated ond the main bathroom has a smelly drain which we addressed with them and they came and disinfected it which only masked the smell for 10 minutes. Lunch and dinner varies between A La Carte or buffet. At breakfast they ask you to book times for lunch and dinner which can be difficult as when you’re on holiday you don’t want to be held to a time although they will accommodate you where able. Drinks as you come to expect on an all inclusive are average and overcompensate with alcohol. Sometimes the room cleaners get a little distracted and only do half a job either leaving something behind or not replacing the towels for example. Aircon only in bedrooms is acceptable although the unit in the children’s bedroom isn’t as powerful as the one in the main bedroom. Overall, as I’ve said before this hotel is a cost-effective getaway to Barbados but if it’s luxury you want I will suggest you look at an alternative hotel but you’ll end up paying at least 50% more for your holiday which you could use visiting the attractions and exploring the wonderful things that Barbados has to offer. As well as eating out and trying the different cuisines available. From travelling around the island it seems the beaches to the north of Bridgetown have calmer seas with better beaches.

- caoimheg742 (10/5): 1000% reccomend this hotel. - The sands hotel Barbados is absolutely amazing and as a family with two young kids would reccomend this hotel to anyone of any age. The food was absolutely delicious every single meal we ate, very impressed with the 3 course al la carte menus on offer during lunch times and dinner times on different days during the week, makes a change from the usual all inclusive buffets everyday.. although this buffet at The sands is outstanding and tasty .. all food is very fresh and well presented! There is a kids menu also for little ones so something for everyone. The drinks are amazing all the cocktails we tried freshly made with all proper ingredients and again presented beautifully.. makes all the difference! All the spirits are the real deal proper spirits good quality only here, same for drinks such as coca cola is the branded one which I found great as other all inclusives we have been to haven’t been the real deal. All the bar staff are great, especially in evenings when they’re doing their little dances 🕺. Entertainment in the evening whilst we were there for a week was a different live singer each night, nice relaxing some nights and other nights people may be dancing along which is great atmosphere ! Just a heads up there is no “kids club” incase that’s what your looking for .. but plenty for the kids to do such as different activities in the pool, football on the beach, water sport’s etc what more could a kid dream of running around the beach and then taking a dip in the swimming pool. The room we stayed in as a family of 4 was absolutely amazingly spacious! downstairs living room with a kitchen area, upstairs we had 2 very large rooms and 2 bathrooms. The beds and pillows are so comfy and the decor very pretty and modern loved it ! Air con in the bedroom works amazingly. Nice selection of different lamps etc in bedrooms so dont always need to use the main bright light. The staff at the hotel are all friendly, happy and helpful. Micheal Adams advised ans helped my family book a boat tour which was a great day out, thanks to him for pointing us in the right direction for what one to pick otherwise we would have no clue! Micheal also does lots of different sport activities which he always makes sure everyone is having fun and putting a smile on their faces. A shout out to all bar and restaurant stafff they all are very helpful and happy, especially Kemar beckels, Jakeel, Danny and Anton..always happy smiling and happy to help. The beach is beautiful there is no comp for sun loungers like other hotels ive been to it can turn into a race to get a sun lounger.. at the sands there was no problem getting a lounger everyday no matter what time of the day either. Location of the hotel is great couldn’t ask for better.. next to shops, St. Lawrence Gap, hop on a bus right outside the hotel which go by very regularly and you can get to pebbles beach or bridgetown in no time. Overall the sands hotel is amazing and can not wait to get back here hopefully in the future, we didn’t want to leave! Attached is some snaps of the food / drink and most importantly beautiful beach.
- mrwideboy (10/5): Had a great time - The staff work hard to make it enjoyable even in the heat of summer. There isnt huge variety of food every night but there is always something I liked. I thought alternating the buffet and table service during lunch and dinner stopped it become boring. The fish was always on point and very good. Everything clean and well maintained. The gym could have been a bit better in terms of equipment, eg a squat, bench rack with a few 20kg plates would be a great addition . The fine dining was nice and the wine served ( merlot) was a good quality. Good location, nice beech staff were great and worked hard.
- rosswU2364WH (6/5): Tried hard but fell short - Hotel was pleasant but more to complain about that to compliment. Somedays they put out cushions on the sunbeds, some days they didn’t, without explanation. They ran out of machine drinks are the bar several times then once they restocked, the gas system broke. Service at meals in the restaurant was often slow, meaning chickens and birds would on the tables eating what others had left. The food was hit or miss depending on the days, we had dry deep fried pork, dried out chicken, dry potatoes and rice once night with no sauce, not even a sauce for the apple crumble dessert. Waited 45 minutes for a beach barbecue burger that was never actually received as I had given up waiting. Noir, the self proclaimed elegant, sophisticated dining experience was anything but. Food was below par, cheap, UV lights on the tables that take away from the views and setting. The tequila sunrise upon arrival that was too sweet, why you are not trying to show off the rum from a country that prides itself on it is beyond me. The seaweed on the beach that was not moved or cleaned up was an eyesore. I understand the seaweed is beyond your control, but other hotels have people out on the beach first thing getting it takes up and moved, why could this not be done here?

- B4521NQdavidr (10/5): Amazing staff and hospitality - A superb experience. The room was very nice and had a fantastic view of the beach and out to the Caribbean Sea. Everything worked as it should and was cleaned during the day and turned down at night without fail. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We got married during our stay and they decorated the room and left a lovely card with their congratulations and gave us a special dining table at dinner. The food and bar area was also great. There was plenty to choose from on the menu and the wait staff always made sure your water glass was topped up and offered beverages when they noticed the glass getting empty. On our last day a lot of sargassum (seaweed) came in to shore, something well beyond the hotels control and far too much to expect them to be able to clean in a short time. However, the staff went round every room with a letter apologising for the inconvenience and giving information on sister hotels around the island where the sargassum wasn’t as bad and where we could use for the beach and amenities and transport/shuttle options for getting to them which was a nice touch. All in, an amazing experience.

- 692dawnr (10/5): The Sands is perfect for relaxation! - Don’t let first impressions of the hotel spoil your holiday! It was not the kind of hotel we generally go to and we were slightly disappointed, however once we accepted the hotel for what it is we had a fabulous time and definitely would look at coming back! The food is outstanding and I dare say the best we’ve had! I did not expect al la carte meals for lunch and dinner! AMAZING 🤩 On some days buffet was for lunch and dinner and again it was equally delicious! The sea was full of sargassum when we first arrived but after a couple of windy days it disappeared and we had the clear sea you generally expect when in the Caribbean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming especially Junior in the restaurant and Michael at guest services. The Sands is the perfect hotel to unwind, forget your troubles and chill! We celebrated our wedding anniversary whilst here and booked Noir who made it special with a sparkling candle, the hotel also left a bottle of champagne and a card for when we went back to the room after a day swimming with turtles, which was a lovely touch!

We were initially disappointed with this hotel but by the end of this holiday, we are ready to book our next stay here. - 943juned (2/5): Beware Intolerant & Allergy Sufferers - Be aware when booking a holiday to Barbados if you have allergies and intolerances to certain foods or conditions. In particular avoid The Sands Hotel at Christchurch, Worthing. We check out today the 6th July 2025 and from day one my daughter has had problems in the restaurant. My daughter has intolerance and allergy to Gluten, Dairy and Wheat. We travelled with Virgin Holidays who advised us to notify the hotel on our arrival. We did advise the management and restaurant on day one. We needed to advise three times a day at each mealtime. My daughter met with the hotel manager and chef who were very apologetic and assured us that all catering staff were aware of the said intolerance. Netheless, my daughter's catering needs were never addressed. She was sick many times and one particular evening the Chef was so concerned he wanted to ring for an ambulance to take her to hospital. Having experienced all this trouble with the restaurant; did they attempt to remedy the problem. Perhaps get in dairy free spread, offer her mashed potato without butter, or any number of suitable foods. No they did not, they simply couldn't be bothered. Why in heavens name they behaved like this I have no idea. I want to warn other intolerant sufferers to avoid this hotel because eventually some poor soul is going to end up dead. - dtD4829NC (10/5): Great 4⭐️ hotel - We had a fantastic time at The Sands! Don’t be put off by the one-star reviews, we honestly don’t understand them. This may not be a full five-star resort, but it’s clean, comfortable, and offers excellent value for money. The staff are outstanding; friendly, attentive, and truly make the difference. Special thanks to Cyrilene, Tanya, and Clarisse, who were fantastic managers in the restaurants, their teams looked after us so well. A big thank you to Karem, the deputy manager, who was always present, professional, and somehow knew everyone’s name, a lovely personal touch. Jezeel looked after us on the beach without us even needing to ask, drinks arrived just when we wanted them. He was incredibly attentive and friendly; definitely management material one day! Antonio kept us all smiling, dancing behind the bar, and Michael and Jakeel were always on hand to entertain and keep the energy high. The food was delicious, though it would help to be informed at check-in about the self-service nights and the Noir restaurant, we found out by asking, but were lucky to enjoy it more than once. Our apartment was spacious with beautiful sea and pool views. The housekeeping was excellent the room was always immaculate. We really appreciated the air-conditioning, even if it was a little noisy at first, you get used to it quickly. The beds were very comfortable and tea/coffee topped up in the cupboard everyday. There are plenty of sunbeds on the beach, and more were brought out if needed. Waiter service by the sea was exceptional and the BBQ was delicious the burgers were excellent. One last tip: tea, coffee, sandwiches, and cakes are available in the restaurant each afternoon, something we only discovered by accident, so it would be great if this was mentioned upfront. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay, and would happily return. It’s the amazing staff who make this place truly special!
- G1883JWalexk (8/5): Great place to stay just needs a few things to be better and get to 5 🌟 - Room is two story, very clean and comfortable. No AC on main floor only in bedroom. Beach right outside our building was beautiful. Spent 11 nights and only 2 days rain, loved it. On last 2 days the sargasm (seaweed) came in bad. They need to do better to clean this up faster. Food was mediocre could be better. Staff wonderful. Couch was not comfortable so watching tv at night before bed is difficult so this is why a TV in bedroom would be nice! Overall we liked it but food needs to get better to be a higher star rating!!!!
- georginahL6616SJ (10/5): Great stay at the sands - We have just returned from a 11 night trip to the sands and it did not disappoint. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with smiley faces from the team, given a cool towel to freshen up and rum punch! The hotel itself is lovely, modern and clean. The room was huge with a downstairs living area and upstairs bedroom , all extremely clean and the bed/pillows super comfy, we slept like babies our whole stay. The bedroom air conditioning was amazing you can change the temperature to suit. Everyday we had our rooms cleaned, which was always to great standards with fresh towels everyday. The pool area is lovely and well kept. You can get fresh pool towels everyday and swap them throughout the day to great fresh ones. There are plenty of sun-loungers around the pool and lots on the beach with parasols. They do daily activities and most day there was music round the pool which we enjoyed. Every other day they have the bbq on the patio burgers & hotdogs with salad potato’s etc- shoutout to David for the best burgers and hot dogs. You can also order from the grill menu around the pool which has options like pizza, wraps etc. The beach area is lovely, some days on our trip it was full of seaweed other days it was completely clear crystal waters depending on the tides which is something out of control of the hotel. Days that there was seaweed we took a 10 minute reggae bus to Browne’s beach where the water is completely clear and seaweed free! There is only one bar in the hotel, there are plenty of beer, wine, cocktails, smoothie choices. The bar team are fab , shoutout to them all for the great dancing and smiley faces. There is also 1 outside sitting area on the patio which is where the nightly entertainment takes place which was usually a singer which was good. However the best entertainment was Antonio behind the bar , we loved his dancing and he was always making us laugh. The patio is not undercover so when it rains there is not any other area other than the restaurant to sit in. The breakfast was buffet , options changed slightly each day for the hot food, there was always fruit , bread & pastries and yogurts- overall we enjoyed breakfast. The lunch is mostly buffet however twice during our stay was al la carte, dinner alternates between buffet and al la carte each night. We liked this as it made a change from having buffet everyday. Overall we enjoyed all buffets and all the al la carte meals were lovely , I would say the Al la carte meals were slightly small portions for big eaters however still lovely food. You do book your lunch and dinner times at breakfast - at the start we were not a fan of this but it was okay in the end, there is some flexibility to change times if you ask with notice and there is still availability. We dined at the noir Al La carte once which was also lovely. The location of the hotel is good, walking distance to st Lawrence gap where there is plenty of bars and restaurants- approx 5 to 10 mins walk depending how fast you walk. A 5 minute reggae bus to pebble beach to see the race horses. 10 minute reggae bus to browns beach/ Carlisle bay. 15 minute bus to oistins. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and we never had to wait more than 5 minutes in most cases, all $3.50. You can visit the sister hotel mango bay for the day, where you can use your all inclusive options there however you have to make your own way there - it was nice for a change of scenery. Overall we had a great stay at the sands and would recommend the hotel!

The location was ideal — just a short walk to St. Lawrence Gap, with easy access to the Friday night fish fry and even a cozy lounge nearby. The food was delicious, the drinks were solid, and there was plenty of seating on the beach. Everyone was so friendly, which made the experience even better. Big kudos to Kemar, one of the standout staff members. He was absolutely great! I’ll definitely be back.

From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful touches throughout my stay, everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere made me feel right at home. I truly appreciated the excellent service and hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay! The room was amazing! Most comfiest of beds, air con, was amazing when you wanted to hibernate from the sun. They had different alternatives around people who had allergies to food which was fantastic, as personally myself I have ceoliac disease and was quite cautious when it came to eating the 3 course meals. The food was extremely tasty! The staff were amazing, constantly smiling, and just generally being polite and friendly. I will definitely be returning in the near future
- sez13579 (10/5): Brilliant family holiday - We have just returned from a 10 day holiday at the sands. We were two adults and a 4-year-old. We have been to Barbados a few times but our first time at this hotel. LOCATION Great location right on the beach. The beach did have some seaweed, but this cleared after a few days leaving a beautiful beach. The location of the hotel is great for going out in the evening. We walked to the Gap and Worthing food court. We never had to wait more than a couple of minutes outside the hotel for a ZR bus. Our 4 year old spent hours building sandcastles on the beach. ROOMS We had a second floor suite which was huge. Our 4 year old had his own room and we had a large balcony overlooking the pool and beach. FOOD The food itself was really tasty and good quality. You have to book your lunch and dinner slot when you have breakfast. The lunch and dinner swaps between buffet and set menu. There is also a grill you can order from throughout the day. OTHER Lovely big pool and we never had any trouble getting sunbeds. The staff were really lovely. We will be back!
- KAYSANT (10/5): Paradise - Just got back. Missing Barbados already. The hotel was beautiful . We were checked in smoothy and offered drinks as we arrived late afternoon. All staff were very helpful and cheerful. We had room facing the pool and partial view of sea with balcony. Room was large and cleaned everyday. Food was amazing , lots of choice and drinks at the bar amazing especially cocktails . Every evening entertainment and during day activities very enjoyable. Will definitely return next year to the Sands.
- sandboy01 (10/5): First time Barbados - I enjoyed The Sands with my husband as our first visit to Barbados in March.It is a small hotel on small beach with an attractive pool and beach access. The room was on ground floor as l had a walking stick at the time, easy access to pool, and restaurant, Reception was efficient and friendly. There was afternoon entertainment and music in the evening. We went out in a hire car each day and visited locations we wanted to see. Food was available throughout the day and the staff very efficient. You take breakfast when you want and indicate your chosen lunch and evening timing which usually worked for us we did not queue. One time lunch is table service and evening buffet, then vis versa it’s buffet lunch then table service in evening If we returned at an odd time there was simple burger and snack grill on the go as well. Occasionally finger sandwiches and simple cakes. They have Noir for private dining which we did enjoy. The bar is open most of the day and well into the evening. Very good staff as it’s a long day in the open air. We are returning this December following a cruise, which is recommendation enough.
- O4715JXvanessag (10/5): You Have To Stay at The Sands! - This was by far one of the best vacations I have EVER had. From day one I have nothing but great things to say. The food, service, hospitality, and staff were superb! Loved the small, initimate feel of this boutique hotel. Special shout out to Kemar and Michael! Oh and David at the bar, ask him to make you a Passion of Life, YUMMMMM! The beach is not up to par, as expected and as most of the carribean beaches are during thia year; but a day trip to Carlise or Mango Bay will do the trick! Overall 10/10 experience!
- 265jennifferr (10/5): Do yourself a favor and Stay at The Sands Barbados. You’ll not regret it!! - Let’s start with how amazing the staff is. How everyone is friendly accommodating. The food is delicious and flavorful. It feels like your grandmother or aunt is cooking. The room was clean and spacious. The air conditioner was great. Even check out was the easiest I ever had to do.
- Z2441WUsophien (10/5): Lovely stay, would recommend!! - Had an amazing time at the Sands! The staff were lovely, room was big and clean, and the pool and restaurants were perfect. One small down side was that we were not aware that in June there is a lot of seaweed on the hotel beach so to swim in the typical ‘Caribbean’ ocean we had to take the bus/ taxis.
