Guest Reviews
- Bentley (10/5): - Fun place for fisherman.
- Jamie (8/5): - The cabins were clean and the location was great. The bed situation was not ideal for couples..
I booked two cabins on Expedia for a long weekend and when we went to check in, they said they only had one cabin even tho I had confirmations codes for each cabin. Luckily they had one cabin that was not booked so it all worked out in the end.
- Ron (6/5): - This place was nice enough to be a four but I rated a little less because I felt some things were missing. There is a kitchenette with stove, microwave refrigerator, but zero pots, pans, plates or utensils so if you don’t travel carrying those items, the stove serves no purpose. The beds were not very comfortable, and there were no pillows other than the decorative pillows on the bedspread.
The Internet did not work as there were just a couple cabins that had it and it didn’t reach far enough to supply us with Wi-Fi.
You will need to gather your sheets and towels and remove your own trash similar to a BNB.
I think the check-in process needs to be identified better because you check in down the road and not at the cabins and it’s a different named business. I know they have it in the documentation when I booked but that was two months earlier, a sign at the entrance would help as a reminder.
The location was great and close to a very good restaurant and convenience store
- Amanda (10/5): - Private Cabins were cute.
- Karry (6/5): - I'd reserved a cabin with two double beds but our cabin had only one double bed. There was not even a broom in the cabin.
- Anthony (10/5): - Property was clean and quiet. Satellite tv didn’t work and one heater didn’t work, no compensation for them, owner said they would fix on Monday, sorry we only had it for the weekend. Will stay again, just will complain earlier in the stay!
- Jeremiah (2/5): - Particular lights in the very small cabin did not work television did not work when brought up to management at the main office we were told that “they don’t like whiners” and we can “f-ing leave”. I don’t feel that we were being whiners. We paid a lot of money to stay in a very small cabin. At least the lights and TV could’ve worked.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was perfect but the bed, it was quite uncomfortable, but we managed!
- makena (8/5): - The beds were very comfortable and the outlay of the two bedrooms were nice. Need to have fly swatters in every cabin and it would be very nice to have at least paper cups and a roll of paper towels. I would suggest furnishing some utensils and some cooking items. We plan to be back next year.
- Kaci (6/5): - A lot smaller then I thought. We had an issue and it was never taken care just put on the back burner. All in all the stay was just ok.
- Rob (10/5): - It was a great little cabin. Way cooler than just renting a hotel room. It's 8 separate cabins. Like on South Beach in sunny FL calls em bungalows and charge's an arm and a leg,we here in ND call em cabins and there damn near the same price of a hotel room. Two 👍👍!
- Marion (10/5): - I like the privacy and I love the wood facade. I like I can cook for myself.Very homey!
- bruce (10/5): - cabins are cute, all the conveniences of a house.
great tv and cable.
comfortable furniture. could be leather.
bring your own cooking and eating hardware.
- Sonya (6/5): - Did not get a queen bed as requested. Lots of flies and no fly swatter. No coffee pot. Nails sticking up on the porch. Limited parking should be noted on website.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The area around the cabin is very quiet and peaceful. The cabin itself is clean and well kept. The check process could be better though as the cabins are located off site away from the motel where you must sign-in.
It would be nice if they would list on the website that you must bring all of your own cups, glasses, dishes, etc. There is a small drip coffee maker in the cabin. On the website, it would help if they would list the type of coffee maker available and to bring your own cups. My feeling is they could provide one pack of coffee and styrofoam cups for $140 per night. To get a cup of coffee one needs to drive close to a mile.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Cabin was clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean, reasonable price, parking for cabin 3 is bad. Another cabin let us park our boat by their cabin.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Fishing trip stay. No kitchen utensils? - The cabin was comfortable for three people. There were a couple of things that could have been better. 1) To check in, we were required to go to a separate hotel located about a mile away. There was no mention of that requirement when I booked the cabin, either from Hotels.com or in the email confirmation I received from the Lodge. 2) Although the cabin had a kitchen, there were NO kitchen utensils/pots/pans/anything. This was also not mentioned in any booking correspondence.
- Kamila (8/5): Great Cabin! - The cabins are great perfect for the 6 of us. Couch pulls out into a bed for the 2 kids. Not many towels in the bathroom but we have been bringing our own anyway. Perfect space for a few nights at the lake. Short drive to the boat ramp. They treat you great when checking in at the hotel and even can run over there for breakfast!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice clean cabin and close to new town and lake sa - Really close to lake and about 10 miles from the casino....
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cute cabin, located on a back lot not a lot to see - Not, alot of parking, the cabin it self is really nice, could use some kitchen items.
- Verified traveler (10/5): manicure your property - The cabins where nice and clean the grounds were not kept weeds growing everywhere
- Jeanne (4/5): Think twice - We did not stay over night in the cabin It was located behind housing units with no security The office was down a dirt road
