Veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Goed service vanuit het hotel. Denken goed mee en we mochten veel eerder onze kamer in. Dat was heel fijn. Isolatie van de kamers. Voornamelijk vanuit de straat. Het is buiten heel luidruchtig, veel muziek vanuit de auto’s en de voorbij rijdende tram. Het voelde net alsof we buiten stonden.

- 234kalip (10/5): Valet - We’re from Long Island NY, & came into town to see old friends and our buddy Travis helped us out a lot with valet and a few shuttle rides to the flying saucer & to CVS. Extremely friendly & he even waited for us to come out. The service at the Homewood suites is amazing. We’ll be back when we come back to Houston.

- Michael (10/5): Great location and breakfast, and very comfortable rooms! - Our stay was very pleasant, we wanted somewhere within close walking distance of the convention center and public transport and the location of this hotel was perfect. Perhaps the best part of our stay were the amazing breakfast options each day! I can’t think of any issues with the property, there seemed to be renovations going on in the lobby but even that had no impact on our stay, no noise and no major obstructions.

- Estefani (10/5): Amazing breakfast someone give me the recipe for the Chia pudding - I don’t know if it was the supervisor that kept on checking up on us, but he was amazing. Just the staff overall amazing. They gave me suggestions of where to go to eat. I was treated with respect and kindness even when I had to leave my luggage behind they were so professional and understanding about it and even when I had to wait for my lift to leave, they let me wait in the lobby, which was amazing because it made me feel safe. I will be booking again next year in the same hotel. At least for my experience, everything went amazing so I don’t really have anything to comment on

- Che Ying (3/5): Reasonable rooms, good locations, dirty pool - The rooms are clean, limited amenities but reasonable for the price and its location. The staff are friendly. The outdoor pool was always dirty during the 4 days of my stay. Food packaging and dead bugs in the water, big dead cockroach lying next to the pool. Beer cans and cigarette butts and ashes floating. No immediate actions were taken by the staff after addressing the issues multiple days in a row. Was told they would do basic clean up and had to give up after 45 minutes of waiting for anyone to show up. Was told that there’s no regular maintenance on the pool. Very disappointed with the facility.

Run down room, I dont think ever cleaned the room i.e. vacuumed the carpets or mopped the floors. We saw hand towels and some chicken pieces on the floor under the roller stools. The bathroom was very sticky. Even after telling them multiple times they did not cleaned it. I think they only changed the sheets thats it.

Room was very clean and the view was great. Most of the staff was amazing except whoever was the cleaning lady on the 14th floor. Very rude and a bad attitude when told that we did not need housekeeping at that moment since we were not checking out until later. Kept knocking over and over again. Fire alarm went off at 1:30am and literally no one notified us if it was real/if it was a false alarm after the alarm stopped.

- CJSLubbock (6/5): over 70% humidity in the hotel room - While I felt like the staff tried hard, I would not stay here again. The room was old and shabby, although the linens seemed new. When I first checked in, my room smelled like old cigarette smoke. I told the staff and they moved me. The second room didn't smell like cigarettes, but it did smell/feel musty. and I think that is because of the humidity of the room, which is my biggest complaint. The room was just too humid. I woke up feeling all clammy and this was in the fall, not the height of summer. My humidity gauge said it was over 70% humidity pretty much every day I stayed there (about a week). I told the staff, but they said there was nothing they could do. I don't want to stay here again.
