- Dayron (8/5): - We recently stayed at the Majestic Mirage Punta Cana after a great experience at the Majestic in Costa Mujeres, but unfortunately this one didn’t live up to expectations. Service overall was good — most of the staff were kind, welcoming, and truly tried their best to make guests happy. However, the hotel itself needs serious attention and better management. Some areas look worn out, repairs seem poorly done, and parts of the property feel outdated. The food was the biggest disappointment. There was very little variety — breakfast and lunch were practically the same every day — and the quality of ingredients and preparation was inconsistent. Some dishes were simply not well cooked, and international options often missed the mark. It’s a shame because the staff work hard and deserve better leadership. Management really needs to step up, especially for a resort marketed as a luxurious experience. At this point, we honestly cannot recommend this hotel to others. Majestic has two other properties that are supposed to be less expensive and less high-end, but after this stay, I wonder if those might actually offer a better overall experience.
- Lisa Anne (10/5): - Our stay at the Majestic Mirage for our 41st Anniversary was more than perfect! The resort and the room were both equally beautiful! Our butler Bolivar did go above and beyond by decorating our room beautifully for our anniversary. He also made sure to check in daily and to address any of our needs. If we needed anything, we just reached out and he made it happen.😊 The food in most of the restaurants was actually really good. The only issue I had is that sometimes the food could have been a little hotter. (Especially room service) The entertainment staff were all phenomenal! Definitely professionals that entertained us nightly! The pools and the beach areas were always kept spotless! The staff at this resort, definitely work really hard and deserve to be paid well. Could I pick on a few small things I noticed during my stay, sure I could. But when I look back on the beautiful week I had I really couldn’t have asked for anything more. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and I would most definitely stay here again.

- Jessica (10/5): Beautiful, friendly resort - The Majestic Mirage is a beautiful resort. All of the staff that we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. Our butler, Lisandro, was very attentive and checked in with us daily to make sure our needs were met. He found us wherever we were, whether it was at the pool or the beach, just to ask how we were doing. One evening after returning from dinner, we found water on the floor coming from the sink. The maintenance person quickly responded, as well as a housekeeper that thoroughly cleaned up the mess - even moving the bed to make sure the water was completely dried up. The “animation” staff was so friendly and were able to get my somewhat shy daughters to participate in Spanish lessons, jewelry making, and a mini disco party. The bartenders were very attentive and made delicious drinks. We were disappointed with the food, unfortunately. The food at the buffets was either over cooked, dry, or stale. The hibachi was ok. The Italian restaurant did serve very good food. We loved the view of the pool from our room balcony. We loved the easy access of the beach from our room. We were there in the off-season so our experience will be different than being there at a busy time. But the resort felt not very crowded at all. The beach was beautiful, and we often times had about 50 ft of beach to ourselves. Overall we had a great experience at this Majestic resort.

- Mikayla (4/5): - My husband and I stayed at the Majestic Mirage in Punta Cana for our honeymoon for five days. Overall, the property itself is beautiful, the swim-up bars are amazing, and the grounds and pools are well-maintained. Most of the staff were kind and helpful, especially our butler Fabio, who went above and beyond booking our dinner reservations and checking in daily. We also had a fantastic poolside waiter named Fernando who made our days by the pool even better. Our room was gorgeous, we had a ground-floor swim-up suite with an outdoor Jacuzzi and two bathrooms, which was such a nice surprise. Everything felt spacious and comfortable. The only cleanliness issue we ran into was finding a cockroach in our room one day and seeing a couple more in the hallway, which was disappointing but not enough to ruin the trip. Where the resort really fell short for us was the food. I honestly struggled to find much that I enjoyed. The only restaurant we truly liked was the French restaurant, which we went back to twice because it was the only place with a dish I actually enjoyed. The rest of the restaurants were very underwhelming, bland, overcooked, or just not good quality. The buffet near the beach for lunch wasn’t great either. We found that the food sitting under the warmers was mediocre, but the stations where they cooked things fresh (like pasta or meat) were at least somewhat better. Still, even the made-to-order pasta wasn’t great and to make matters worse, the guy working that

- Steven (10/5): - An honest review. So we stayed a few months ago at another Mirage Resort so I have a point of comparison. This time it wasn’t a family vacay, but an anniversary trip with me and my wife. First thing was check-in. I did the precheckin two days before with my passport photos and everything so this should have sped up the process. We waited for probably half hour to get checked in and then to wait for our room to not be ready for another 3.5hrs. They said it was “busy” but it didn’t look too busy. Carrying my carry on luggage around to sit down to eat wasn’t fabulous but we did our best. Our butler Eduardo was great and attentive. Used WhatsApp to communicate which was fine and easiest. The resort is very nice. Each restaurant has its own style and specialty so would suggest trying all of them. Definitely make reservations early enough to assure the dates/times you want. The beach is very nice but I give one caution. Since we stayed in the adults only section there is a spot on the beach that is also roped off for this. Although it wasn’t too busy that we really didn’t need to use the area, we did because of its ease of beach access, sun access and bar access. The downside of this is that it is the edge of the resort which is public beach. This means that the vendors all gathered right at the edge. Yes I know they are doing theirjob but I also paid for relaxation. I always felt watched. Overall would def stay here again. Also note is that they apologized about our wait.

- Shaniqual (10/5): - The rooftop suite we stayed in was awesome. The room and property is very clean, there is lots of food options, nightly entertainment, and best of all our butler Fernando was great and very helpful with showing us around the property and sending info of daily events.
- Sacha de (10/5): - We had a great week at the Majestic Mirage. They had great dining options and we especially appreciated the onsite coffee shop and the steakhouse restaurant. The main bar offered a cocktail bar cart in the evenings which was also excellent. The property was very clean, rooms well appointed and serviced daily. We used both the beach and pool every day and even enjoyed a game of pickleball. Areas for improvement could be that despite it being low season it was hard to get a reservation at the reservation only restaurants unless you planned at least 48 hours in advance, rooms service options were limited and did not include drinks, cocktail recipes were inconsistent from one drink to the next and every bar man served different versions of even standard drinks like pina colada and rum punch, minibar could have had wine and vodka as options instead of beer, rum and whisky. Overall a great stay and we would definitely recommend!

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. The resort itself is spotless — everything from the pools to the restaurants and common areas was always clean and well maintained. We absolutely loved our room with the rooftop hot tub — it was spacious, modern, and the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. The food was consistently excellent no matter where we ate, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. A special shout-out to our butler, Francisca, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. She was attentive, friendly, and always one step ahead of what we needed. Also, Juan Bernardo deserves recognition for his outstanding service — he made every interaction a pleasure. If you’re looking for a resort that delivers great food, exceptional service, and spotless surroundings, Majestic Mirage Punta Cana is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!
- Kelly Marie (10/5): - Very nice resort. Staff very friendly. Buffet had nice options but food could have been hotter. Other dining options were good that we tried. Could have changed things up more in the club snack areas. Our room was a long walk from the central resort area ( bldg 4) but very close to the beach. Evening entertainment was decent Beach was kept clean and was swimmable during our stay so that was great. Chairside service was great on the beach and by the adult pool. Could use a few more shops within the resort itself however lots of beach vendors. Spa was excellent but far walk so ask the butler to arrange a ride on a golf cart for you. Overall a great resort.

Butler took care of all reservations, decorated our room, provided tote bag and hats for our excursions. Housekeeping cleaned room daily. Fridge in room stocked daily with beer and soda. Nightly entertainment was great. Laid back quiet resort for the most part. Was our second time and will return to this resort if traveling to Punta Cana.

The food was great. Was not a huge fan of the buffet though. Do not sleep in the sports bar! Great breakfast options and American style foods like hamburgers, mozzarella sticks, chicken wings etc The entertainment was great. I can't complain about anything. Even the beach was beautiful. Sand was so soft.

- Kevin (2/5): - First thing, when reviewing the ratings I suggest everyone take every bad review into consideration and not just focus on the good reviews. This is for any property but this one in particular seems the only accurate reviews are the bad ones. When we first got here all but the driver that was about to get off his shift was in a bad mood. Got to the “resort” early and you are definitely going to have to wait till 3pm at least to actually get into your room. Once we got in the smell of mildew was really really really bad. And when we told the front desk they sent someone to spray some perfume in the room and try to explain away the reasoning to the smell, promised a dehumidifier that came a day and a half later and only ran for 5 min and was never changed out. The look of the room is nice until you start to really inspect and start to notice the fact that the room isn’t really clean at all. The food or what they try to pass off as something edible that you should put into your body was one of the worst things we experienced seeing people need to eat and at this place not eating is probably your best bet. But my worst experience by far was the fact that I got my luggage about two hours after actually being in the room and open it to find out the “resort” searched through our belongings. The utter shock at the fact that they would do that was horrifying, thank God we weren’t one of the many thief stories. BEST THING ABOUT THIS PROPERTY IS FINALLY LEAVING.

- Jessica (4/5): - My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and were very disappointed. Despite noting multiple times that it was our honeymoon (at pre-check-in, at the front desk, and to our butler), we received none of the honeymoon amenities. Another couple, not even married, was mistakenly given them instead. We booked a swim-out room, but the pool was filthy with algae and leaves the entire stay—it wasn’t cleaned until the day we checked out. Our butler also failed to make dinner reservations after we gave him our requests. The only acknowledgment of our honeymoon was being handed a T-shirt. For such a special occasion, we expected better. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to what was promised.

Our butler, Fernando, went above and beyond with a warm, professional, and welcoming approach, even helping us book excursions off-property. I traveled with two teenagers who loved every minute. We felt completely safe, and there were always fun activities to enjoy. I would highly recommend the Majestic to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation!

The staff were so kind and personable and always smiling! The furniture in our room was damaged in the living area and the sofa was not clean. Other pieces were chipped- this is not how it was on our first visit. Next time we are going to try their newer property in Cancun. But overall, we love the Majestic Mirage and we hope to visit again!

The only not so good thing was we found hair in our tub outside on the deck when we wanted to go use it. So I filled it up with hot water and ran the jets to clean it. A lot more dirt and hair came out. It was yuck!

Jeffrey was our butler he checked in with us often to see that our needs were met. The restaurants overall were great with the only exceptions being the steakhouse and main buffet. None of us took more than a few bites of our ribeyes that were very fatty with no flavor. The marketplace buffet was the only often for breakfast since we had a minor with us and it gave us diarrhea everyday. The other restaurants were each a unique experience with great food options. We did the snorkeling/party boat excursion and it was just ok. Overall we had an amazing trip here and would definitely come back.

The transfer to the hotel never arrived, and the contact person did not respond to WhatsApp messages to inform us of the reason. Because of this, we had to pay for a private transfer to reach our destination.
- Anthony (10/5): - I cannot say enough good things about our honeymoon stay at Magestic Mirage. Your all inclusive experience starts as soon as you walk in. The staff is friendly, kind and you can honestly see that they enjoy their job. The beach is beautiful, pool has a swim up bar. There are multiple restaurants they even have a 24 hour sports bar. Room service and laundry were also great. Not included in the all inclusive was the spa but i recommend making an appointment you will not be disappointed. There are shows every night and foam parties in the pools. There’s always something to do even on a rainy day. They also have their own little cafe shop. Such a great experience and we will be returning for an anniversary in the future!
