Guest Reviews
- Donna (10/5): - Room was very clean, parking was easy and breakfast was simple, coffee, muffins, bagels and cereal.
- Abraham (6/5): - Very outdated window was a bit noisy from wind
- Wayne (10/5): - A lovely place to stay. Very friendly staff and clean rooms
- Paul (10/5): - Staff was nice and friendly
- Elzbieta (10/5): - Room was very clean and big .
- Alicia (10/5): - The front desk girl LALA. Very friendly:-)
- Ward (8/5): - The staff was very friendly, and cleanliness excellent, but the inn is old, and it shows. The room was OK, and the small dining area neat and clean, but the general experience was average at best. Just outside the entrance, a plastic spoon stayed throughout our five-day stay, and weeds grew through the cracks. Breakfast was very limited. We learned they are new owners, so they're trying to bring their property up from a poor prior status.
- Beth (10/5): - no additional answers
- Wayne (10/5): - Excellent place to stay
- Beatrice (8/5): - As front office closes at 9 pm, the front desk waited till we arrived an hour later. Was very appreciative as we were at hospital w daughter. Was a quick check in, comfy bed/pillows, had a good sleep. Self serve coffee, cereal, yogurt, toast or muffin available.
- Daniel (10/5): - Peaceful and good price.
- Margaret (6/5): - breakfast was not so great. Didn't seem fresh and plain.
was booked 3 nights and room was not attended to in those days. Garbage and bathrooms would be nice if they were seen to.
- MARY-ANN (10/5): - Clean and cozy.
- Janie (8/5): - Good value. Heard the train 3 times in the night.
- Cornelia S (10/5): - We had a very nice and comfortable stay at the Didsbury Country Inn.
- Rosemary (10/5): -
- keith (6/5): - For an older property, it was in very good shape in the rooms. Clean and modern. I did have a horrible sleep as there was someone yelling at the top of their lungs most of the night. Certainly not the hotel's fault, this could happen at the Ritz Carlton.
- Christine Kaye (8/5): - The bed was comfortable. The room/hotel was old and outdated.
- Barbara (10/5): Didsbury Country Inn - Lovely place to stay. Price was right too.
- Shane (10/5): - Clean and does the trick
- Joanne (8/5): - Clean. Excellent bed
- Don (6/5): Older motel with some smell in the room - Older motel that uses keys, staff was good. Place had a slight smell in the room (possibly smoke)
After 9 pm the office is locked and you have to call them if you have a reservation. Was overpriced ($135) for an older motel with carpet.
- Gloria (8/5): - Bed was very comfortable.

- Rukhsana (10/5): - I loved it, very quite place
- Leanne (10/5): - Quiet, clean, comfortable. Available parking.
- Justin (6/5): - The front desk is not open 24 hours. They close at 9pm.
I was traveling for a sales event. I found It was difficult to coordinate my travel plans, the event hours, and the office hours.
I arrived early to see if I could check in, around 1:20pm. There was no staff at the desk and the provided bell did not work. I had to call the hotels number before someone came to the desk.
The room wasn’t ready but thankfully I was given a key so I could go straight to the room after my event.
In the room I noticed that it smelt of chlorine, otherwise the room was clean.
- Janis (10/5): - Excellent value
- Doris (6/5): Ok - Hotel was quirky. Staff tried to blame me for the water on the floor in the bathroom
- Rominna (10/5): - Overall good
- Chantal (8/5): - Cute little hotel and cute little room with everything you could need. Comfortable bed, nice big tv, a table with 2 chairs and a nice big chair to watch tv. And also a fridge and microwave. A decent breakfast with bread, bagel, cereal... The only negative point I could mention is the train track that is very close
- Doug (10/5): - Lots of new furniture
- Donna (8/5): - It felt like a new mattress, so comfortable!
I slept with window open…train woke me twice.
- Allen (10/5): - Easy to locate, quiet & a good breakfast. Friendly staff
- Tammie (8/5): - It was clean. Quiet. Breakfast was minimal. Downfall no night staff.
- Treva (8/5): - The hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet in spite of it being full.
The only down side was that we booked through Hotels.com and received confirmation from them , however when we got there they said we had not booked any rooms. Fortunate for us they still had two rooms available.
- Jay (10/5): - Location is very convenient.
Nearby Gas station, restaurant
- Vivian (10/5): - It has everything that I needed
- Edwin (10/5): - Had a good stay, its a good option for the area
- Parthiv (10/5): - Thanks for your service
- Arlene (8/5): - Close to everywhere we needed to go. Older building but very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Even offered to carry in our luggage/bags if we needed assistance.
- Kurt (10/5): - Nice place, friendly staff and very clean!
- Jason (8/5): - We were just there for horses sale and this worked very well for us
- Susan (10/5): - Awesome
- Susan (10/5): - Always clean with friendly staff.
- kim (4/5): - Water was a dribble out of the faucet. Took about 5 minutes to wash my face. Upon checkin I used a credit card and didnt know the password. Asked if they could manually run it through and looked at me as if I was an idiot. Wouldnt stay again for the price charged.
- Tricia (10/5): - Small town hotels can go one of two ways - surprisingly wonderful or terribly wrong. This hotel is surprisingly wonderful. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Decent continental breakfast selections. Would stay again if needed.
- Rainer (10/5): We enjoyed our 2 day stay. - My wife and I found this hotel comfy, quiet and the hot water in the bathroom (shower and sink) was instantly hot and there was plenty of it. We stayed there for 2 days at the end of March 2025. We would stay there again.
- Shannon (10/5): - We recently booked several nights at the Didsbury Country Inn. The inn was easy to get to, and conveniently located near many of the areas we needed to get to. Staff was very nice and helpful with check-in and any questions we had during our stay.
The inn is well-maintained, and our room was very comfortable and clean. There is a Subway attached to the inn, with other dining options within a couple of blocks. We will certainly stay here again if we have the opportunity to be in the area during any future trips.
- Ikenna (10/5): - Clean
- Alvin (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Gayle (10/5): - Quiet ,clean and very friendly
- Brandi (10/5): - Staff was very kind and pleasant. Room was clean
- Rory (8/5): - Friendly accommodating staff, clean, quiet room
- Paul (10/5): - Professional & courteous service
- Catherine (10/5): - Simple but clean accommodations. Comfy bed. Nice, small town motel feel to it.
- Michael (10/5): - This hotel is excellent value for the price. Very basic, but exceptionally clean and the staff were very accomodating. We had a very late check in (12:30 am) and the front desk waited for us to arrive. As a rural hotel in a small town the front doors were locked after 11:00 pm. For a place to lay your head, highly recommended.
- Andrew (6/5): - The Noise was from all the trains passing by not the establishment itself. You could hear them from your room.
- Greg and Blossom (6/5): - The place is clean. 3 Star Inn. Friendly staff.
Expedia said the the office is open until 10pm. The staff said it's only open until 9 pm.
- Patti (10/5): Great little hotel! - In a small Alberta town, we happened upon this gem of a hotel. Very clean, comfortable, quiet, and convenient. The toast bar in the morning was a nice bonus. Highly recommend.
- Josh (8/5): Decent stay if you gotta snooze in Didsbury - Decent place to stay if you find yourself in Disbury. Breakfast could have been better but no complaints about anything else.
- Colin (8/5): - Location, friendly staff,comfortable and clean
- Kathrine (8/5): - Everything was great, quiet, clean and friendly staff. My only complaint is the entry way of the building smells like stale cigarette smoke. But the room did NOT it was very clean.
- Javier (2/5): YUCK - This place is VERY dated. When we entered our room we nearly fell out of the room on our butts. The stench coming out of the room was beyond DISGUSTING. The mini fridge was open and on its side, the microwave was open and they were both venting. We were in a rush to get to an event, so we closed the fridge and microwave, opened the window wide and turned on the bathroom fan, thinking that the smell would be gone upon our return. About 5-1/2 hours later, we came back and the smell was still there. It was so powerful, it was gagging my wife. We picked up our suitcase, walked down the stairs (which smelled of fresh cigarette smoke) to the lobby - which was unattended (before 9PM) and just left the property. We drove home. That was a horrible experience. Hotels.com you need to be more involved in scrutinizing the properties you represent. This is the 3rd time we have been to one of your hotel/motels and the way the property is written up and reality are miles apart. To say that this property was a disappointment, would be a huge understatement.
- Derek (10/5): - Very friendly
- susan (10/5): - Very nice and maintained property. The only thing I would say needs to be looked at is the recliner chair in this room was not working.
- Catherine (6/5): - Very friendly staff. The hotel appeared to be in the "out of
the vacation season" mode.
Nice continental breakfast, very good beds and nice bathroom facility.
Thankyou.
- Angela (10/5): - Excellent
- Stephen (8/5): - All good
- Karen (8/5): - Very quiet. Nice small town hotel.
- Glenda (10/5): - Very clean, quiet rooms. Simple but excellent value for the price.
- David (8/5): - Very nice staff. Room was clean and comfortable.
- Eldon (8/5): - Well priced clean great service would certainly stay again.
- Kelvin J (6/5): - Don’t accept dogs. We were told that they would help with tv remote, they never came. They get annoyed with check ins after 9:00 pm.
- Lynn (10/5): - Very friendly staff at check in (even offered to carry my bag to my room!) clean room, hallways and lobby. Lots of coffee pkgs and also lots of shampoo, soaps and lotions. Very comfortable bed with a great assortment of pillows in different sizes. Breakfast minimal, but sufficient. Overall-great stay!
- andre (6/5): - Simple, but clean and friendly Motel. Breakfast could be better. Hi point is actually the fantastic Thai Restaurant across the street.
- Krista (8/5): - Clean room and friendly staff.
- Eduard (10/5): - Train a little bit noisy.
- malcolm (8/5): - It was a nice place, a bit dated but clean, friendly and convenient.
- Alexandra (10/5): - Really nice place to stay, will definitely use this hotel again
- Susan (10/5): - Very clean room. Great breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place was super sure . The staff weee so friendly .. comfortable and welcoming stay !
- Dalmane (6/5): - No wifi password in room, no phone to call lobby for password.
I went right to sleep when I arrived and when I woke and wanted to work no information was in room in password?
