• Pari10 (8/5): comfortable hotel, needs improvement - Hotel location is good but surrounding is not interesting. There is 7-10 mins uphill walk to reach main street with full of cafe, restaurant and shopping options. My room size was good and clean but not perfect. Room carpet was dirty and better to be replaced. Wi-fi was good and staff very friendly and helpful.
• Miron (4/5): ew - There are maybe one or two positives. The location is very close to the metro, about a 10-minute walk at most. And the reception staff are genuinely great people. You can communicate easily with them, and they are very polite. The state of the rooms is definitely not their fault. I honestly can’t understand what kind of people leave reviews like that without even thinking that someone might actually rely on them. So let me tell you how it really is. When I booked this place, it had a rating of 8.9 on Booking, which I thought was amazing. But I’m telling you honestly, don’t be cheap. Spend an extra €100 and get something that’s actually worth it. Istanbul is such a beautiful city, and it’s relatively affordable, trust me, it’s better to invest in a good place to stay. The photos? Completely different from reality, maybe accurate in another universe. The room was unbelievably dirty. The bedsheets were stained, the table was in a condition I can’t even describe, the wall had coffee stains (I forgot to take a picture), the chair was extremely dirty, and the carpet was absolutely disgusting. You’d feel sick stepping on it without shoes. Luckily, they provided those paper slippers, but honestly, I don’t think they would’ve noticed even if I slept with my shoes on. Contrary to other reviews, our room didn’t smell like cigarettes. It was also freezing. Extremely cold. You can’t control the temperature in the room, it’s probably set that way so you won’t use too much. There is hot water… technically. But in the evening, someone seemed to be playing games with it. If you try to shower after 10 PM, the hot water either stops, disappears completely, or comes back randomly. So with enough patience, you might manage to take a shower in about an hour… one that should normally take 10 minutes. The bathroom wasn’t as bad as the room overall, but the shower cabin was filthy, absolutely horrible. I genuinely felt disgusted trying to wash there. Oh, and let’s not forget, the “private parking” doesn’t actually exist. It’s just in front of the hotel, and you basically park wherever you can find a spot, hoping for the best. Good luck!

• Pinar (10/5): Ein angenehmer Aufenthalt in guter Lage mit freundlichem Service. - Das Zimmer war sauber und modern eingerichtet, das Bett sehr bequem. Besonders gefallen hat mir die ruhige Atmosphäre sowie die gute Lage des Hotels mit einfacher Anbindung an die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

• Nikolai (9/5): - Very very comfortable, stylish hotel. Excellent location and very friendly staff, comfortable beds, pillows, thick curtains Wonderful bath 24/7 reception. Really stylish room. The hairdryer in room 601 is broken, and it's a fire hazard. You have to change it. If something happens, it's written here. The fan of the dryer is not working, it's just getting hot. But if you change that, everything is good. You could also buy some new mattress. And change the glass rack in the bathroom, it keeps falling out.

They provided us whatever we needed.The hotel takes great care in cleanliness, with fresh items such as towels, coffee, and etc provided every day. I had very comfortable stay 🙂 The hotel is close to the train station 5 minutes walk , but it is a bit of a climb, so it is difficult for the elderly or the sick, or for families with children. Apart from this, the Bed is fine for couples, but with child the size of the bed is bit small.(160 cm i guess).

Location is good and there were many small supermarkets around as well as bakeries and kebab places. The only complaint is that the room was not heated when we arrived, and since we were with a baby, this was a problem for us. The windows let in too much cold, so it took a long time to warm up the room. Probably we should have messaged the hotel with request to warm up room before we arrive, but I thought it was taken for granted that the room would already be heated at least a little.

• AMIN (10/5): Thanks the hotel personels - Hello. My wife and I found here best respectful kindly behaviour to us about receptation and services. In particular, I got sick (food poison originated on out side fastfood) and the hotel manager helpt us throughout friendly behavior by taking taxi to go hospital at midnight. The maid was so respecteful and also, there was clean. I felt comftable there. However the hotel was near enough to taksim squier, but because of building location, was relatively quiet particularly at night. I only suggest that the hotel prepare a food menu and make easy manner to send it to guests of hotel. Thanks all hotel personels. Finally, I have an ask from the dear personel who referred us to the hospital to not refere anybody to the foregin hospital for emergency medical services.

• Omidreza (8/5): In total I had very good staying, and suggesting this hotel to couples. - warm welcome, The manager (owner) Mr.Rudi, two staffs Mr.Sinan & Mr.Erdogan were very helpful, polite and professional. I had a few issues in room but solved immediately by them. It was worth the money paid. Room was clean and prepared everyday with bottles of water, clean towels, sanitary stuffs and slippers. Size of room was good. Breakfast was good enough. Osmanbey metro was very close to hotel, between Taksim Square and Cevahir mall. The Dolapdere street is crowded but safe. The bed was not queen, it was two single attached beds with two mattress that was not comfortable.

• Aysha (6/5): Average stay, perfect if you only need a place to freshen up and take rest. - The room was good for the money paid. We stayed there for 5 nights. As we were in Istanbul for tour, we needed rooms only to freshen up, and sleep..rest of the day we were always outside. That is the reason we were looking for a room which is decent with aberage price. As for that, this room is perfect. But the room and bathroom are too small. They cleaned the room everyday, but didn't change the glasses we used instead just kept new paper lid on top. This made us doubt whether they are doing the same with the rest of the cleaning. Wr always felt some dust on our bed. The breakfast was really bad, the fruits, veggies and eggs tasted very old. We stopped having breakfast from there after day 1. There is only a 5 mins walk to the area where you can get bus and metro to anywhere in istanbul, but this walk is on a steep road, you will have to climb it and won't be easy for people who have pains or are old.

• Zain (5/5): Decent location, really questionable customer service. - location was nice , quite central I had read reviews about how friendly the staff was; I had quite a different experience. Maybe they’re racist. I paid the full amount in my reservation in TL, got a receipt for that amount. Then once I was in the room, the fellow from reception came to the room asking for 100 TL more. When I inquired what it was for etc, he said if I didn’t want to pay it I could just leave and go to the Crown hotel or elsewhere. After a transatlantic 10 hour flight 5 dollars didn’t seem worth the hassle so I paid it. Didn’t get a receipt for the extra payment. After checkout, I asked them to store my one suitcase since I had 5 hours to kill before leaving for the airport. They really resisted- having been to 80 countries in the world and staying at a lot of hotels, it really surprised me. Who doesn’t store luggage in this day and age? They finally agreed to store it for 3 hours. Had to come back and collect it and then camp out at a coffee shop with it for 2 hours. Really unpleasant experience. Have two more trips to Istanbul coming up for work, will definitely not be staying here again.

The location is just a few blocks from the Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar International Convention & Exhibition Center, shopping areas and the subway. The room was not as impressive as in the pictures, it is modest, not as new and a bit small.
