• hyeong-cheol (10/5): 하노이에 간다면 다시 묵을 곳 - 혼자 묵기엔 정말 좋은 곳입니다. 커튼 있고 수납공간 충분하고 사물함도 따로 있구요. 그리고 직원분들이 굉장히 친절하고 영어도 꽤 잘 통하는 편입니다. 제가 지갑을 잃어버렸는데 자기 일처럼 도와주고 공항까지 가는 택시비도 준다고 할 정도여서 실제로 받진 않았지만 따뜻함을 느낄 수 있었습니다.

And breakfast is delicious. Also some sightseeing spots are within warking distance. So value for money is great !

Really good hostel and the location is perfect. I booked Ha Long Bay 3 days 2 nights trip( one night boat, one night bungalow ) it was great Hight recommend !

A fresh rose was also placed at the bedside as a welcoming gesture which was delightful. A quiet & peaceful environment. Cons - Would have been helpful if there was a lift as our room was on the fifth level. The pillow was too soft. Was like lying down flat. If these issues are addressed, Tomodachi House is an extremely superb hostel!!!
• あきぃ (6/5): 徒歩圏内でフレンドリーなホテル - 旧市街まで歩いて15分程です。空港からタクシーできましたがホテルの前の道は車で入ることができません。スタッフはフレンドリーで感じのいい若いかた達でした。ハロン湾やハノイの市内ツアーをすすめてきましたが、断ったらそれで終わり、しつこくすすめてはきませんでした。難点はシャワーを浴びるとトイレが濡れてしまうこと。シャワーを浴びるときはトイレットペーパーをはずして非難させないとびしょびしょになってしまいます。
• Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely choice, some minor room flaws - We liked the Sky Suite, though the room does have a few drawbacks: the bathroom is a little cramped and water gets everywhere as the shower is very close to the toilet. The room itself is rather small, but nicely appointed and the terrace is lovely. The windows are by no means sound-proof, so you'll get a bit of the hustle and bustle of the street below. No partying, just the buzz of conversation and the odd clanking of pots. I actually liked it, but might be too much for sensitive sleepers. The router on the ceiling is like a disco light at night. I wrapped it in toilet paper! We let the staff know, so maybe they will cover the lights with some electrical tape.
• Pete (10/5): A lovely little hotel - Really lovely hotel, great location, nice rooms and food, and friendly staff and fellow guests. A very calm place, though can be a bit noisy in the evenings as it is in a busy area with bars and restaurants. But who comes to Hanoi for peace and quiet? The best thing about the hotel is the staff, every one of them is friendly, helpful and polite. It was a pleasure to stay there, and I will definitely go again.

She booked me tours, explained things to do and best places to go. Room was small but perfect for just sleeping in. Breakfast included and good choice of variety.

• Kylie (10/5): Sweet homey hostel with friendly staff - Staff warmly welcomed me to their hostel. The interior was neat and clean with a nice and comfy shower and w/c. They served breakfast roughly between 7 and 9. The reception staff so eagerly to help me sorted out transportation to airport on the day i depart. My flight was quite early and i needed to get going at 6am. The young gentlemens of the hostel made me breakfast, check out for me and sent me to the taxi driver. I felt so sorry to make them slept on the floor of the reception and took care of me at such a early morning. I will come back to your homey and friendly hostel when i got chance to come back to Hanoi!

• HYUGJIN (8/5): 좋은 선택 - 좋았습니다. 바로 앞 식당들 거의 다 맛있었고 호안키엡과도 길 하나 쭉 따라 걸어가면 되고 기차역도 10-15분 정도면 걸어갈 수 있습니다. 커튼 다 있어 어느 정도 개인활동 보장받을 수 있는 반면 다른 호스텔처럼 서로 잡답하고 히히덕거리는 분위기는 안 되더군요. 조식은 베트남스타일이 제일 좋습니다. 일본식이 제일 나쁘더군요. 포크 누들이라고 적혀 있는데 그냥 인수턴트 라면입니다. 화장실 많아 씻을 때 4일 머무르는 내내 기다릴 필요 없었습니다. 참고하세요.
• TEH (10/5): Simple & everything have - The dorm is great, simple and everything have. Bathroom attach inside as well as outside. It privacy as have curtain to cover the bed when sleeping. Feel safe and the place very convenient for search for food when hungry. The breakfast also good.
• Mindy (10/5): Awesome stay - Very friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable with a/c and a curtain around the bed for privacy. They provide toiletries, a bottle of water and towel free of charge. The breakfast was awesome as there were lots of choices. The train station is less than a 10min walk away where you can catch the shuttle bus to and from the airport for only 30,000 dong. There wasn't a common room to meet and chill with other travelers though. But, I would definitely come back!

• Brian (10/5): feels like home - Tomodachi House is run by a super friendly young family. The entire staff is kind and accommodating. I originally booked only 2 nights, and after booking an all day tour to Ha Long Bay needed to stay a third night. i was told the hostel was full and decided to cancel the tour, but within 15 minutes a room cancellation allowed me to keep my bed another night and go on to Ha Long Bay. i was happy with the tour booked through Tomodachi and glad to be back another night. i also used the laundry service which took less than a day and booked my airport transfer with Tomodachi. the variety of breakfast options are a nice surprise. my only discomfort was the dorm room air conditioning. being in the bed farthest from the AC unit was quite warm but not miserable.
• Joshua (10/5): “FANTASTIC - PERFECT HOTEL - We have fantastic times at hanoi dahlia hotel. this my Great experience about SPLENDID STAR SUITE Hotel : 1/ Our family Classic room is nice, large, clean, Charming decor on my bed with petals rose flower and some rabbits make by tower . 2/ hotel staffs are always welcome and serve with smiles. they are help us to booked our package tours, show the restaurant, seeing place, shopping for us . 3/ the Buffet breakfast was great with many choices for both western and Vietnam traditional foods, we're loved it and eat a lot of foods . 4/ Hotel location is a heart of old quarter by food to the Hoan Kiem lake, shopping area, restaurant ... 5/ we did the SUPER PACKAGE tour with hotel and we had excellent tours, great value for money, we are highly recommend to booking Dahlia hotel tours . Thanks to Mr.PHILIP are make our trip was Fantastic . We will comeback soon !!!
• Bao (8/5): Nice and quiet hostel - I had booked a female dorm before my arrival to Hanoi but it was change to mix dorm after I confirmed with them as the male ratio were higher than female that they convert it to mix dorm, but overall, it was okay, as there was a curtain per individual bed. Most of the guests that staying in the dorm were very quiet so no complain here. They change the towels and toiletries daily which was a good point, it would be better if they can provide some hangers and area for us to hang our wet clothing etc to dry, as the period I been there, it was foggy and raining season. Night markets, St Joseph's Cathedral, Hoa Lo prison museum, Women Musuem, Hoan Kiem Lake, Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum are within walking distance Staffs were helpful and friendly, as they recommended me the type of snacks to buy back and when the wall USB socket not working, they willing to lend me their power plug for me to recharge my devices.
• Gene (10/5): Excellent and extraordinarily helpful staff - We were warmly welcomed, into the cozy tomodachi house by staff who really cared about both the upkeep of the hotel and the travellers staying there. They frequently went out of their way in assisting us to get to various locations and book further transport. Would definitely recommend and stay there again as it was very close to the old quarter in an excellent side street.
• Tony (10/5): The best hostel in Hanoi - I have stayed here for two nights. I just love it here. It is a very homey, cozy, clean and friendly hostel. The facilities are excellent and wifi is super speedy! The hostel staff is very friendly and helpful Special Mr.Jimmy Hotel manager who made my stay wonderful and memorable. The tea and coffee here are also tasty. It is very convenient to walk to the downtown and train station of Hanoi.
• Weiqi (10/5): The best dorm beds in Hanoi! - I love staying at new places when travelling and I'm certainly glad that I've chosen to spend a night at Tomodachi House! The dorm bed is really quite comfy - huge super-single bed, curtains that can be drawn for privacy, personal head lamp and spacious lockers below. As good or even better than the dorms I've stayed in Europe. Breakfast was great with lots of variety as well. I hope to be back one day :)
