Die Ausstattung trifft einen gute Mischung aus Tradition und Moderne. Die Wohnung liegt direkt an einer vielbefahrenen Straße, die Doppelverglasung hält die meisten Geräusche jedoch außerhalb des Appartments.

In de ochtend via een berichtje gevraagd of wij eventueel al eerder dan 15:00 uur in de accommodatie terecht konden en kreeg zeer snel een reactie dat het al beschikbaar was voor ons. Pret á Manger op de hoek. Supermarkt naast het gebouw. Locatie top met uitzicht op het kasteel. Alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand.

• Chaylene (1/5): Horrid stay in Edinburgh - The worst mattress I have ever slept on, whole mattress sagged to the box spring, broken mattress springs poking out must be 20-30 years old mattress. Constant street noise till 3 am, drunks screaming out in front of the building. Homeless people hanging out at the front door and urinating on the front steps. Bed is disgustingly bad, homeless urinating on front steps, drunks screaming out in front of the building all night long. People drinking on front steps and harassing tenants, constant stream of buses, trams, trucks driving by the front at all hours ringing their bells and honking their horns. Water temperature lukewarm in the shower, not the cleanest place. Total misrepresentation of property. Booking. Com should investigate this property, destiny Scotland should be ashamed of themselves. You can’t get any sleep. Couldn’t wait to leave. DO NOT STAY HERE. You have been warned!!!!!!!
• Cristian (9/5): Loved the stay here, would definitely come back. - Very central location, lovely view over the castle, the bedroom were facing the back of the building, so they were quiet, which was extraordinary. The beds were extremely comfortable and quiet, which again was awesome. We loved the self check-in, but it would have been nicer to have an earlier check-in (we asked for 1h in advance and it was not possible) because we were traveling with a baby. There's a piece of window in the living room that's in a bad condition and it's ruining the view. Also the chair from the window it's in a pretty bad condition. It could use an upgrade.

• Karolina (8/5): Weekend in Edinburgh - Great location for exploring Edinburgh with ease. Close to tram stops, and many pubs and restaurants. The apartment is well equipped and had everything we needed for an enjoyable weekend break. The bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy, could definitely do with replacement. Also, it was quite noisy at night, although closing the shutters helped to reduce street noise.

La ubicación es muy buena, y pudimos entrar antes a hacer el check in, estuvieron pendientes en todo momento para ver si podíamos entrar antes. Además hay un súper justo debajo que cierra a las 23.00 Por decir algo, las puertas no se mantenían abiertas y era un rollo.

Can't fault Destiny Scotland at all, will be recommending to others and booking myself again. Only slight gripe which really didn't spoil anything was not knowing that Edinburgh has an LEZ. • Cathy (9/5): We had a great stay in Edinburgh, the apartment was central to many activities. - Location was perfect, we were able to walk to many of the activities in the area. The view was awesome with Edinburgh Castleright across the street. The apartment was very clean. We had to climb 2 flights of stairs even though we had a first floor apartment. No elevators in the building. Beds were not comfortable, need to be updated to higher end mattress. Lastly the bath tubs were extremely slippery when wet. We had to be very careful not to fall while taking showers. Perhaps invest in some non-skid bath mats for the tub. Also no wash cloths were provided.

• Tracy (10/5): We loved staying in the heart of Edinburgh and having so many options available to us. - The property was spacious and very modern and clean. The location was great for us, lots of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. We enjoyed being in the centre of everything. The only thing I would say is that being on the 3rd floor could be difficult for some people getting suitcases up the stairs, but that’s part of staying in an older building.

• Zahraa (8/5): Great stay in a great location - Great location on Princes Street and just a short walk from the train station. It’s also not far from NCP Castle Terrace (for those who drive). Nice set up in the apartment. Very clean. Small niggles but the coffee pods weren’t nice, and the ?wifi router next to the bed was very bright. It would’ve been helpful to have instructions for the stove and oven.

Wonderful! - Airbnb next to a Tesco express so we could grab anything we needed from there for breakfast or a quick lunch dinner whatever. The door knobs of the apartment would have been better if handles. All else absolutely excellent.

• Milly (4/5): Street entrance is tiny and when you walk in looks dark and more like a shelter, homeless people sadly gather at the ent - Easy to walk everywhere - very responsive staff (washing machine was broken and they had same day service fix it) Very loud all night. Heavy trafficked street with siren blaring all night. Shower never got beyond lukewarm which was very disappointing.

Posizione centralissima. Check-in non prima delle 15 in punto e con un volo Intercontinentale sulle spalle attendere fuori la porta non è stato il massimo. Consiglio di avvertire la struttura in anticipo, cosa che non ho fatto. Materasso non comodissimo.

• B6837RAchrisg (2/5): Avoid this place – cancelled my booking without even contacting me - I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, but I’ve never experienced incompetence quite like this. I booked weeks in advance, only to find on the day of travel that my reservation had been cancelled — apparently because they assumed my address was invalid. Not confirmed, not checked, not even a single phone call or email to clarify — just cancelled. When I called to find out what happened, the customer service team could not have cared less. Dismissive, unhelpful, and completely unwilling to take responsibility. No apology, no offer to help me rebook, nothing. If you value reliability, communication, or even basic professionalism, do yourself a favour and stay literally anywhere else.

• Elaine (9/5): Overall would recommend this accommodation for a stay in Edinburgh as it was close to attractions, transport and places - Location was fabulous small things like the fridge really could have done with a handle as there was no indication in which direction to pull the door open and it really was a challenge to put finger in the top to pull it open. The floor had been sprayed with something at the entry way and it was so slippery I almost fell. Had to put a towel in place to prevent further slips.

• Middle-Aged Traveller (9/5): Excellent for a short stay in the city - The castle view room double was great. The view was excellent! We were only up one flight so the stairs were not an issue. The bed closed off with sliding doors, so the early bird did not disturb whoever slept in. The room was clean and comfortable.

• Patricia (10/5): - Extremely pleased with the Princes St Residence. We stayed in apartment 2. The place was clean and had everything you would need. The kitchen and living room was nice and spacious. Our favourite thing was the view of the Edinburgh Castle from the living room window. Perfect location for those who want to walk or transit around downtown Edinburgh. Close to everything - food, shopping, parks etc.

• Andrew (10/5): - This is a very nice apartment and great for a group. Modern amenities and QUIET. As stated in description , you WILL have to walk up some stairs to carry your luggage if you are staying in one of the top floor apartments. Close to the tram stop which is convenient for traveling to the airport. It is a small walk to Old Town and the big tourist attractions, but can be easily accessed with one of those Big Red hop on buses.

• Sarah (9/5): - Die Lage ist super, wir konnten alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Die Aussicht ist top. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Bett ist etwas unbequem. Man hört leider den Straßenlärm von draußen.
• Janice (10/5): The best accommodations that is close to all sites - Our experience with booking and communication when arriving was top notch. Our stay was close to everything and many restaurants and pubs to choose from. When I come back I’ll stay here again!
