• Victoria (6/5): - I came through Paris for a concert, and I picked this hotel because it was only a 20 minute walk from the concert venue. It was a simple room and set up, although not as clean as I would have liked but I at least could tell the bathroom and sheets were clean so that was a win. The hotel had a lovely communal garden with food from a neighboring cafe available for extended hours. The area around the hotel was safe, and there were plenty of food options right on the same street. I was never given any wifi information, as the person working the front desk only spoke French so there was very little actual communication beyond pointing and a few sentences translated with Google. Overall, not a bad hotel for a quick trip where you aren't expecting to spend extended time in the hotel. It certainly worked for me :)

• Verified traveler (6/5): Hôtel décevant ! - À notre arrivée dans l’après-midi, notre chambre n’était pas prête. Cette dernière n’était pas propre, la porte et la fenêtre étaient très dures à ouvrir et à fermer. L’hôtel n’est pas isolé, il faut vivre avec le bruit des voisins du dessus et d’à côté. Le bloc de douches et sanitaires, se situe en face des chambres à côté de la terrasse du restaurant. Ce qui manque de discrétion et confort… Les toilettes sont à partager avec les clients du restaurant. Seul intérêt, l’emplacement à proximité du métro (environ 15 minutes) et du Zénith.

And an awful experience booking through Hotels.com... First of all, the guy in the reception (whom reeked of cannabis) would not let us check in to our room, which we had booked in advance. His reason being that we arrived after the reception had closed. The only problem with that is that we had booked through Hotels.com with the promise that we would be able to check-in until midnight. After about 30 minutes of discussion with the guy at the reception he finally gave us a key, and we where showed to a room. Upon entering the room an awful smell of sewage hit us. The room was definately not clean, as witnessed by the odor of sewage and the cobwebs in the corners of the room. When we booked the room we'd pay extra to have our own bathroom, which was a waste of money, since the toilet wasn't even able to flush. At this moment we were already looking for other hotels online. But the thing that made us leave the establishment immediately, and go outside to stand with our luggage on the street searching for new hotels, was the fact that we found mold on the walls, particularly in the wardrobe of the room. A clear health risk that didn't seem to bother the hotel at all. We called Hotels.com's support line to ask for a refund of our money. But Hotels.com's only answer was: "Unfortunatly we can't give you the money back, unless the hotel you choose from our site agrees to it". Mind you this is the same hotel that do not hold up the agreement on check-in times made with Hotels.com, and the same hotel that deams it fit, to put a pregnant couple in a mold infested hotel room with an unflushable toilet. Bottom line is, we can in no way what so ever recommend staying at Hotel Rachel. Nor would we ever recommend using Hotels.com, a company whom either don't examine the hotels they are selling you or maybe Hotels.com is just a company, that does not care about scamming their costumers.

• Christian (10/5): L'écrin 13 - Notre séjour de 4nuits s'est vraiment bien passé dans la tranquillité d'une chambrette avec toilettes s.d.bain nickel . La 13 porte chance !😁 L'accueil très Sympa de Toufik nous a mis a l'aise avec discrétion Mille merci Je repasserai prendre un café Bon échange 😉

• Gérard (8/5): - Je crois avoir fait cela hier soir.Je suis déjà venu plusieurs fois dans l’hôtel Rachel pour aller à des concerts au Triton à Les Lilas.et j’y retournerai. Votre Hôtel est Très bien situé. Après des travaux il devient exclusivement intéressant grâce à la « Terrasse « si vous pouvez la garder ! Les chambres plus moderne avec des sanitaires dans les chambres . Pour mon amie et moi ça nous va rapport à la qualité /prix, il ne reste qu’un hôtel aux Les Lilas qui vient d’être refait pour les JO. Pas aimable pendant les dit travaux: poussière y compris dans les chambres, la TV ne marchait pas. Par contre le restaurant bonne carte et une terrasse bien sympathique C’est vers la sortie de Les Lîlas en remontant sens inverse de Paris. Sinon je n’ai pas de remarque particulière vu le prix. Des poils partout , n'utilisez pas les lits !! le sol pas propre, des murs ultra fin , pas une chose n'est pas casser, un évier sans eau chaude , pas de télé, pas de détecteur de fumée, pas de serviettes, toilette et douche dans le jardin...

Aucune courtoisie et bon sens, il me raccrochait au nez à chaque fois que j'appelais pour lui parler. Il m'a demandé d'annuler mon sejour sans scrupule parce que mon train arrivait à 22H à Paris.

• Lucie (6/5): Pour le prix ça va - Pour le prix ça va ça dépanne, mais par contre, pas de wifi, pas de télé (dans une chambre double avec sdb privative), une ampoule au plafond qui est grillée, la propreté qui laisse place au doute (literie qui ne sens pas le propre, un mégot de joint au sol dans le coin de la chambre), les toilettes qui se mettent en route tout seul pendant la nuit ??? Petit truc bizarre, en revenant dans la chambre plus tard dans la soirée, LÀ PORTE ÉTAIT OUVERTE ?! (rien à disparu, et je pense pas avoir oublié de fermer la porte, ce serais énorme comme erreur?? mais laissons le bénéfice du doute 🤔) Sinon dans l’ensemble, pour le prix et l’emplacement c’est bien, ça dépanne bien et la personne a l’accueil est très cool, nous sommes arrivé avant l’heure du Check In et il nous a donner une chambre quand même, et pareil pour le Check Out, aucune pression de la part de l’équipe.

• Verified traveler (4/5): FUIR ABSOLUMENT - CHAMBRE CATASTROPHIQUE... La surface minimum d'une chambre devrait être d'au moins 3X3 (9m2)... En fait ma chambre était minuscule seulement 2X3.5 (dont 1X3.5 loi carrez car sous les toits). Pas de rideaux occultant ou même de volets mais juste un vulgaire voile (très sale qui tien à peine). Pas même de table de chevet. Une porte qui n'a rien d'une porte fermant avec un simple verrou (pas même de poignée). Un petit lavabo avec robinet... Eau froide uniquement... C'EST INACCEPTABLE DE LOUER CETTE PIECE COMME UNE CHAMBRE. Je conseille fortement... DE FUIR... Ah, j'oubliais. Les sanitaires ne sont même pas sur le palier mais en extérieur...
• 710calliew (2/5): Dirty rooms. - Pictures look nothing like the room. Musty smell, was not clean. Office say they open at 9 and no one was there until 10. Washrooms and showers were not clean. Very out of the city, it’s cheap but I wouldn’t say worth it.

• Lee (2/5): - I booked the room for 4 nights. Property pictured was not the same as the accommodations. Very dirty room in bad neighborhood. Shower and bathroom are not attached to room. You must cross a courtyard that is shared with complex. I stayed less then 20 mins. I wasted a large part of my travel day finding another room which was available. I also had to spend much more because my original reservation was made in advance.

Propreté moyenne, mais surtout des puces de lit dans les couvertures qui ne semblent jamais lavées... Je suis parti couvert de boutons. Sinon hôtel calme et très bien situé. Je serais revenu s'il n'y avait pas de puces de lit. Dommage.
• Haastrup (2/5): - What was advertised,was absurdly not the reality.Hotel Rachel Paris was nothing but a fraud. No one who has an intention of having a good holiday should ever visit the place. At the end,one cannot even have a receipt for the ripoff,as I couldn’t get one,tried as I did.Highly disappointed,and wouldn’t recommend Hotel Rachel to anyone.

• Paola Vanessa (8/5): - El servicio excelente la habitación no estaba totalmente limpio cuando llegamos , hacía mucho frío y nos resolvieron con un calentador , no había secador de cabello pero se pide y muy amablemente te lo consiguen , el cuarto solo lo limpian cuando te vas , la zona agradable esta lejos pero el metro está a unos minutos igual que el bus y es muy fácil llegar a todos lados

• Hicham (2/5): HORRIBLE - Établissement non conforme au normes de sécurité et de confort pas de télé bouche d’aération insalubre mur non isolé sinon le personnel est correcte.

• fabien (2/5): Punaise de lit présente - Chambre correcte, wc et douches communes plutôt propre mais pas eu le temps d'utiliser car présence de punaise de lit dans la chambre 1. pas de réception la nuit et pas de petit dej. excuse du l’Hôtel pour les punaises, il faut leur montrer pour constations mais il n'y a personne sur place. Les clients ramènerais les punaises eux même. même une photo et film ne suffise pas a rembourser les chambres ou nous sommes rester 1h.
• James (4/5): Good staff - The staff were helpful, but the room had damage (broken floor, damaged shelves), lighting was poor and the wifi didnt work at all (even after paying the 3 euros). They would also not provide an invoice. DO NOT BOOK for business travel.

• Monique (4/5): - Sanitaires insuffisants. Douches exiguës, vêtements et chaussures mouillés par manque de place, porte manteaux avec un crochet cassé. Chauffage impossible à régler.
• Tobias (2/5): - Im Gesamtauftritt war die Unterkunft des Namens "Hotel" oder der Website "Expedia" nicht würdig. Die Zimmer waren m.E. nur für die Nutzung im Sommer ausgelegt. Die Rezeption war nicht nur während der "offiziellen", sondern auch vom Personal / Eigentümer?eingeschränkten Servicezeit nicht regelmäßig besetzt, so dass z.B. ein Verbleib des Koffers an der Rezeption nach der Checkout-Zeit nicht möglich war. WLAN funktionierte nur unzuverlässig, und nur in der Nähe von Zimmertür oder Fenster. Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen. Sehr laute Umgebung. Sehr enge Gänge in sehr alten Gemäuern. Ich bin froh, dass ich diese Unterkunft nicht bei Regen erleben musste.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Not so good - The hotel was quite dirty and moldy. Some parts of our room had clearly visible mold on the walls and we had to sleep with the windows open. The bed covers had cigarette holes etc. on them. The only positive thing about this was that there was not bedbugs, as it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.

• emilygD7167HO (2/5): Look for something else - Disappointed at the extreme lack of hospitality from the employees here. IF YOU CAN AVOID STAYING HERE YOU SHOULD, THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS. First of all, the room we were given did not look at all like what the photos of the room posted online looked like. Our room with a bed for 2 was two twin beds pushed together in the middle of the room. The wifi did not work. The room was dimly lit and slightly dingy. Clean for what you're paying for, but honestly there are much better deals (in better areas) to stay at. Secondly, my boyfriend accidentally originally booked a private room with one bed, thinking that it would be big enough for both of us to stay in. When we both arrived, the manager informed us that 1. we couldn't sleep in the same bed even if we wanted to (wanted us to book 2 rooms) 2. We had to purchase a whole second room 3. He would not refund or in any way change the price of the first room booked even though the hotel was clearly empty. 4. Following up on the fact that the hotel was empty, yet the manager informed us that the prices posted on the wall were "base prices" and we had to pay an extra amount because of "supply and demand". Tired, overwhelmed, and out of options we succumbed. Really recommend trying to find somewhere else.
• TheOtherPoet (10/5): Pleasant with attractive price - Beautiful small hotel close to Parc de la Villette. Easy to find in front of the City Hall of Le Pre-Saint-Gervais. It was one night very pleasant with a very attractive price. You have the metro close and many shopping and restaurant options. The place is very quiet and clean. I enjoyed it.
