- Tang Wing Kin (8/5): - In general the staff are polite and the food of the room service and especially the Chinese restaurant are of the highest quality. However, there are a few things that have room for improvement. Firstly, at the 43rd floor lobby, there is no clear line up for check in, and the quests are not received in sequence. Moreover, as with many hotels in China, other quests often budge in while you are being served and are very rude. There were children running around at the lobby, one of them was even on a Segway. In my opinion these events really down graded the hotel’s image. But C’est la vie au Chinois I guess.

- Claire (4/5): Great location but poor service staff - 1) wrong location on map : location of hotel is 88 haide ye road, but map on hotel website was pin on nantou. I checked on both baidu and googled a few times to confirm that haide ye road and nantou is different location. called expedite to help to confirm the location, but expedite staff has issues communicating with them as hotel staff cant really speak English. 2) 1 or 2 breakfast: i booked a deluxe room with breakfast and was surprised when upon check in, service staff informed me that it was only 1 breakfast. i asked her to check with manager and the manager came over , took a glance at my voucher and pointed at the word breakfast. He mentioned that it is 1 pax as the breakfast is without "s" . There was a moment of silence and the manager walked off. I couldn't accept that answer as during the point of booking , there isn't any indication that states 1 pax breakfast and I had booked for a double bed . i requested to see the manager again or the next level of manager and the service staff mentioned she will feedback to her manager. 3) upon checking into room, i received a call from the same manager again. i explained to him that i was not trying to be demanding nor was i bringing in extra guest but at the point of booking, nothing was stated. i doubt he understand what i was trying to say and just keep apologies and say will give me free breakfast. That's not the point.

I stayed in many Marriott and always had access to lounges, but the staff in this location needs training to give the best service or comparable to other Marriott chain.

- Cameron (8/5): New tall building, nice view, everything else ok - This hotel is very new and pretty nice. Keep in mind that it is a 4 star hotel, not a 5 star hotel, even given the current 5 star pricing and the high rank on the ranking websites. So don't go there expecting Ritz Carlton levels of service, you will be disappointed. The building itself is new, 63 stories tall with the hotel on the top 20 floors or so. We were on the 59F, which has great views. Lounge is also on 59, pool is on 62/63 I forget which. In my opinion, this hotel is great for the view and the new building, but the service and the rooms themselves are 4 star, not worthy of 200+ usd per night. So keep that in mind when booking
