Bedrooms were all nice and worked well. Great view from the living room. Be sure to try to trail that runs very close to the house All was good, nothing to improve from our side

• Michelle (9/5): Home away from home, comfortable and has everything you need. - Facilities and location were perfect. Walking distance to the sculptures, IGA, local pub and cafes. There is a huge construction underway next door. Directly impacting on the view front on. There are still peripheral views of the beach and out to sea. We were not advised of this prior to our arrival or at the time of booking.

• Linda (10/5): We felt completely relaxed and we hope to return. - Baudin House is a spacious, well appointed, comfortable home away from home. The location is excellent, great ocean views and walking distance to the beach, shops, cafes, etc.
• Scott (8/5): Very good - Loads of space, plenty of supplies, toilet rolls, napkins, cleaning materials, soap, shampoo, conditioner, local honey, cotton buds, cotton wool balls, shower caps, makeup wipes, condiments, etc. etc. Building a new house right in front of the balcony, noise from 8am. Lots of dust on balcony and outdoor furniture.
• Sonya (9/5): Best beach house on the best beach, with the best views. Great for a large family. - The location is terrific with a fantastic view of Penneshaw beach across the road, and a 10 minute walk to the small town shops and pub. Every day we saw pods of dolphins right in close to the beach. The house is huge, lots of space for our family group and it was easy to accommodate family meals outside on the deck, and play games in the garage or on the large space at the upper end of the property. Two car spaces on the lower entrance. Good BBQ, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook at home. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off after swimming. The hosts were super informative and communication was instant and easy. Only need to bring beach towels, that's it. Not a criticism at all, just an FYI that when referring to mobility issues in the initial communications it means access to the upper gate and being able to drive in there instead of using the stairs from the lower driveway. I could easily have messaged the host and sorted that so we could bring luggage and groceries straight into the house but it wasn't a big deal since we are all fit and able to do the stairs. Also FYI that the hot water only heats at night so we just adjusted the household to use the hot water sparingly during the day and have showers at night and use the outdoor shower to rinse off after swims. Again not an issue for us, just FYI. Last, the house directly in front of Baudin has had a concrete slab poured, but since Baudin is so high up it does not affect the beautiful view from the lounge room so don't worry about that.

• Mark F (10/5): Baudin Beauty - An ideal location for the ferry. The house has great views. Modern with everything that any type of traveller might need. When the road works are completed there will be easier access to the main body of rhe Island, albeit as it currently is, we had no problems.

Plenty of room for the three of us staying there. Not being able to open the top gate so we could utilize the ramp to get into the house. Carrying bags up the stairs wasn't the best idea. We couldn't find a tea towel to dry the dishes.

• Sheralee (10/5): Gem of a house! - I booked Baudin House for a weekend getaway with friends for our first trip to KI. The house was amazing! The pictures were exactly as the house was. The view of Penneshaw and the Bay was perfect. It rained all weekend but we didn't care as the wood fire kept us cosy and warm. We can't wait to come back and will definitely book Baudin House again. Betty was a lovely lady who made sure everything was perfect for us. We can't wait to see her again also!

Köket är mycket välutrustat och bra grillplats finns på den stora altanen. Vaker utsikt och ett fåtal meter till fin sandstrand. Även nära till mycket bra mataffär. Kvälllspromenader i närheten där vi såg ett stort antal kängurur. Hit vill vi gärna återvända!

• Carol (10/5): Perfect base for exploring east end of Kangaroo Is - 3 of us stayed at Baudin House for 2 nights at the end of a wonderful trip to Kangaroo Island. It was the perfect place to stay with everything we could possibly have needed and plenty of space. Betty and Michael were on hand if we wanted anything and they gave us a few recommendations of places to go. It was a great base from which to get around the eastern part of the island and just minutes to the ferry terminal. Happy to recommend and would stay again.

With an excellent hostess in Betty nothing could go wrong. She was extremely helpful in setting up the beautiful house. More importantly she understood that we have a young family and guided us to some of the best "non commercial " places to visit. She also help us feel at home during our stay and the amenities were just cherry on the cake. I would whole wholeheartedly recommend staying at Baudin Beach in any time. Thanks Betty for being so nice, warm and helpful. This house is great and a like a dream with its convenient location and awesome views.
