Felt very much at home and we were able to accomplish much as the hotel is located at a very accessible place. The chefs were very accommodating and made the little one enjoy every meal.

This gem sits and stands amidst the bustle of a busy city, yet provides the serenity a busy traveller would need and seek. Overlooking the bustling city and neighboring the lush green lawns of the golf course, it is alive, and still soothing with nature. It is next to several malls with all the amenities one may possibly need. As you enter, you experience the true warmth and courtesy of staff, representing the culture of the people of Uganda,. From the rooms to the terraces to the restaurants, cleanliness, spacious rooms, sumptuous meals in good portions made to your specifications will be the signature. The revolving restaurant on 12th floor crowns your dining experience with amazing views of the city. There is an airport shuttle service arranged at the reception desk, which is comfortable, reliable and timely. It is definitely the place to experience serenity in the bustle.

Chef Robert was always ready to prepare for me any meal I desired. James ensured I always had my meals on time, my laundry was done and my room was always neat. I will definitely go back!

The WiFi was fast and stable, the stuff are very helpfull.. Mr. James at the front office went out of his way, when I needed to get in touch with my host but never had a local number. I will definitely come back.

It’s a cramped room with no a/c and the sun blinding you.. only way to gym is before sunrise....... seriously I’ve given up on this hotel. Next

- Maurice (10/5): - The property is more beautiful than it appears on pictures. The staff is extremely friendly and have wonderful service. Really enjoyed my stay and loved playing golf on the greens.

The gym is very average, I would have preferred not to have had what seemed to be a staff meeting outside my door every morning pre 0800. When I asked if there was a courtesy room to change and shower when I left at the end of the day prior to a late night flight I was shown to the very unwelcoming swimming pool changing rooms. Just expected a bit more from a hotel in this price bracket.

- Meet (8/5): Average hotel - The stay was average. one expects the level or service and interior to be a bit more luxurious when Golf word is associated. The check in process was slow with only one counter operational. The room was huge but not so well done, the lighting in the living room was very poor. The bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel is good.

- Verified traveler (10/5): The BEST Hotel Experience in Kampala! - Big thanks to ALI the operations manager at the Golf Course Hotel for educating his staff to a top level customer experience and taken responsibility. My advice would be, book this hotel next time you visit Kampala. I tried many hotels in Kampala, but the Golf Course Hotel is the only one I will in further stays. I have been staying at the hotel many times for a good reason: - Large rooms, well maintained and clean - Really nice view if you get a room on the golf course side - Hotel is in the city and next to a mall - Breakfast is served in a garden cafe setting - A rotating restaurant with view over the city - Nice view over the City from the Gym Downside: - Small Gym Based on the previous experiences staying in different hotels in Kampala, I will take this hotel every time I’m visiting Kampala. - Verified traveler (10/5): Kampala Trip - Comfortable, big room with view over golf course. Nice pool area (and big - see photos). Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Shopping Mall next door. Bars and clubs a 5 minute taxi ride away (i.e. Wink, Big Mike's, Bubbles, etc). Hotel has revolving restaurant with good food and views. Wifi connection kept dropping out but not really a problem for me.
- Andrew (8/5): A Nice hotel in Central Kampala - The hotel has a nice location over looking the golf course and has a nice pool area together with access to a small shopping mall that is in the same complex. The rooms are very large and quite comfortable, though maintenance could be a little better. The gym is very small, but the spa is very reasonably priced and provides a proper massage, that is welcome if you have spent several hours in the car. The dinner at the outdoor café was fine, but the breakfast was not quite up to the standard one would expect. Overall a quite a good hotel that I would be quite a happy to use again.
- John (6/5): Centrally-placed hotel convenient for business - We came here from a stay at the Serena Golf Course Hotel at Entebbe. It's a more convenient location but was not as good (food, staff, facilities) as the Serena (although cheaper).
- Tamir (8/5): Well located at green spot in Kampala's center - Spacious room (only one room). The North side which faces the golf course is much better. Very good breakfast.

- Tamir (8/5): Nicee room hotel could be nicer - Hotel seems a bit miss-functioning. Perfect breakfast but other food services are week. Room big, clean and comfortable. The street (Yussuf Lule) side is a bit noisy. The pool is nice but is more like an ornament - not used by guests. Services of room services are OK, reception can improve.
- Mag (6/5): Good hotel with a good view of the golf grounds - Very nice reception of guests, I loved the patience they showed even after they couldn't trace our prior booking records, they let us take our rest in the hotel room as they rectified the problem.
