• ??? (10/5): - Only the place where I can eat dinner near the B&B was closed on that day. The B&B informed me the information beforehand so that I could prepare food and also there is a refrigerator in the room. I could enjoy chilled beer. Thanks.
• Paul (8/5): Passing through on Great Glen Way - Very nice hosts. Breakfast was good. My only comment is that other than the deck outside, there is no place for guests to be other than in their rooms. And while I had perfect weather, it is Scotland, so I can imagine that is a problem when it rains or when the midges swarm. Also, there is no microwave available. As there is only one place to eat in the area, access to a microwave would have been helpful. There is a small grocery store down the street with food and drink, but it closes at 17:00, so make sure you get there in time! Lovely hosts.

• ANALISA (2/5): - Não gostei que estiveram todo o dia a mandarem mensagens porque tínhamos de fazer o check-in até às 19h00. O quarto era muito pequeno e o pequeno-almoço servido das 08H00 até às 08H30. Tivemos de fazer uma madrugada para tomar o pequeno-almoço e deixar o quarto até às 10H00 porque era a hora limite para sair do quarto. A dona muito antipática.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice and clean b&b. My twin room for one person was the same price as for two people. I was told it's because people use two towels and beds but they could just make up room for one. The two single beds take over the room and you have to shimmy past the bed ends to get round to bathroom. Soap and shower gel/shampoo in plastic sachets. Breakfast was only available 8-8.30am, this luckily fot with my plans but is very limited. Good breakfast.
• Katharine (10/5): - No expense has been spared to make guests’ stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. There was even a fridge in my room. A generous place and eating lunch and dinner at the Glenmoriston Arms Hotel made for a wonderful Sunday.
• Geoff (10/5): Excellent B&B - We toured the NC500 and stayed 10 nights in various B&B's and hotels. Darroch View was simply the best of all of them. Hayley was very enthusiastic, friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and spacious compared to other places that we had stayed in. A big well done Hayley

Property was conveniently located just off the road and was easy to find, and host was kind enough to inform us beforehand of the limited dining options in town and to make a reservation for us at the local pub. Breakfast was filling and delicious, and the room and shower clean and comfortable. Would stay again!

• Dennis (10/5): Loved this place - We liked this B&B a lot. Well located for Loch Ness, a short walk from a hotel offering good evening meals (best to book ahead). Our double bed was comfortable and the room a good size with a small fridge. Free parking a bonus. Our cooked breakfast was scrumptious. We busted a gut to get there by 7pm last check-in so be aware of that when you book.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Está genial que tengas habitación y desayuno incluido, aunque te hacen anotarlo en un folio y al final te pone menos de lo que has pedido pero no me voy a quejar porque estabanuy rico. Fuimos a pedir las llaves antes del check in y no hubo problema, todo lo contrario. El problema llega que al darnos las llaves nos dijeron que a partir de las 8 de la tarde la dueña se va a dormir y no se puede hacer ruido ni al aparcar el coche y aún menos al ir a la habitación y en la habitación. Habíamos llegado más tarde y después de una buena caminata y no pudimos ni ducharnos para no hacer ruido. Además si eres fumador intenta fumar lo más alejado que puedas porque odia que el humo esté cerca de su puerta.

• Mrs Denise (10/5): - We were in a twin bedroom, which was very small and better suited to single occupancy. If only staying 1 night would be ok, but more nights the room is very cramped and uncomfortable to stay in.
• Kerry (4/5): Dated, cramped, poor service, limited breakfast - Dates decor. Bathroom in need of repair/refurb. Cramped room. Poor service. Limited and strict time for breakfast (8-8.30am). Limited breakfast offering eg a breakfast bun & yogurt, no fruit, no toast, pastry, cereal or even coffee! And not allowed to eat in dining room and no space to eat in bed room. In room tea and coffee facilities are bare minimum. No herbal teas or hot chocolate. Poor sustainability credentials eg single use toiletries and masses of single use items in the current breakfast ‘service’ which is really a take away breakfast.

• Daniel (10/5): - Quite hard to find - but then everything was really great! The owners of this B&B accommodation were extremely kind and the breakfast was outstanding!
• Graeme (4/5): - On every trip there is a prize for the smallest room. This b&b wins the prize this trip. Made for an uncomfortable stay which was a shame. The owners, who live on the premises have a quaint policy of not allowing check in after 7pm. One couple at breakfast told the story of being stuck in traffic because of an accident and did not reach the b & b until later. I don’t know where they did stay but it wasn’t there.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Ok for one night - The owner was very welcoming and had pre booked us a table for dinner at the nearby hotel. The room had no window at a level to see out and so it felt claustrophobic . Breakfast was good.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice views, private location and fridge in room. Shared a twin room which was tiny not leaving much space for luggage. Beds were uncomfortable, shower doesn’t drain well. Only option for your breakfast is a 30 minute window between 8 - 8:30. Pretty lame 😒 but don’t worry, without ear plugs you’ll hear owners bashing around like elephants well ahead of your scheduled breakfast so don’t plan on sleeping in.
• Laura (8/5): Buen y tranquilo B&B - Se trata de un B&B entre Fort Augustus y Drumnadrochit. La habitación es cómoda, dispone de nevera y TV. Baño completo. El total de habitaciones es 3, por lo que es muy tranquilo. El desayuno dan a elegir todo lo que quieres pedir: bacon, huevos, morcilla, papatas.. tú marcas lo que quieres y ellos te sirven. El horario de desayuno de 8 a 8.30. El único problema, es que el check in tiene que ser antes de las 7 p.m. por lo que tienes que planear tu viaje para llegar a tiempo.

Pour chambre, il est très propre mais il est très petit et tapis est trop vieux. Pour petit-déjeuner, il n’est pas très frais après quelques heures, je suis nausée. Total: 7/10.

• Em (10/5): Great location, awesome breakfast! - How lovely is this place?! Very homely and cosy. Great central location between Loch Ness and the Skye. Breakfast in the morning was awesome. Could not beat that lovely hospitality!
• Danika (10/5): Darroch view B & B - Best stay so far on our trip! Out hosts were lovely, our room was perfect for our stay. The included breakfast the following morning was amazingly delicious. I would definitely recommend Darroch view B&B to all our friends travelling in the area.
• John (8/5): Good Room; Great Breakfast - This was a great place to stop for a good night's rest before a morning canoe trip on Loch Ness. There's not a lot else around it, but there is a nice restaurant just a few minutes away by foot, or town is just a few minutes away by car. The bed was fair, but the WiFi was strong, and the room was clean. There is a very strict no-smoking policy (a big plus), and a very strict 4-hour window for check-in (usually a big minus for me). The room had a small refrigerator, which I did not see in most places I stayed in UK or EU. Breakfast was great and a perfect start to the day.
• Thierry (8/5): Hôtel Darroch - Un hôtel très propre mais cela ne fait pas tout : vous recevez un sms la veille sur les horaires d'accueil entre15h00 et 19h00 sinon on dort dehors ! A l'arrivée, le soir, vous devez décider de ce que vous mangerez au petit déjeuner le lendemain (servi entre 8h et 8h30 !). A 7h00 on sent la nourriture cuire : porridge, bacon, ... que vous mangez forcément réchauffer (une heure après). La literie du grand lit : impeccable si l'on dort seul car il est tellement bombé que l'on tombe si l'on n'est pas bien au milieu ; donc impossible de dormir à deux ; j'ai dû dormir par terre sur une couette épaisse et laisser le lit à ma femme ! Petit parking pas pratique pour la voiture. Un seul restau pour manger le soir, il vaut mieux réserver.
• Tony (10/5): Good value, comfortable - Must be there by 7pm. Village closes down at about 5pm but can go to nearby Fort Augustus for eating and shopping. On the main route to Skye and convenient for Loch Ness. Scenic river rapids (called waterfall?) in close proximity and worth a walk. Room was compact but comfortable with good hot shower and excellent breakfast, so a great place to stay.
• Thierry (8/5): Parfait pour une étape - Parfait pour une étape d'une nuit. Pas grand chose dans le coin lorsque que l'on vient du nord ou que l'on poursuit sa route vers le sud ou l'ouest. Pas beaucoup d'option de restauration, mais un très bon restaurant à 200m

Our room was a little small, but was comfortable enough for an overnight stay. Breakfast was very good with convivial conversation with the landlady and the other guests
