• Elena (10/5): - Il personale è stato eccezionale: gentilezza, pulizia, disponibilità massima. L' hotel è fronte mare (barriera corallina e turtle point), posto in una zona tranquilla dell'isola ma vicina a locali molto carini.

• Michelle (10/5): - We loved everything about Kaluku, particularly the friendliness of all the staff. We loved our beautiful bungalow, with its own patio and its outlook over the gardens, the beach and the sea; we even woke early enough to catch amazing sunsets over the sea. Our outside bathroom was spacious, modern and very well appointed. We also loved the fact that there is no traffic on Gili Air, just pedal cycles to hire and horses and carts to transport guests to and from the harbour. Kaluku's beach restaurant was excellent, far better than others in the vicinity; as well as our delicious inclusive breakfasts, we ate lunch there every day and also most of our evening meals. We had to wait a little while for the food to be prepared, but it was worth the wait.
• Kristina (10/5): - Hade det toppen på Kaluku. Mycket trevlig personal som alltid mötte oss med ett leende och såg till att vi hade det bra. Bodde i en jättefin rymlig bungalow i 4 nätter, ren och fräsch med mjuka sängkläder. Ingick kaffe/te, vatten och lite chips o kakor som fylldes på dagligen. Kunde låna snorkelset gratis av hotellet. God frukost med många alternativ att välja på. Lite grumligt i poolen men allt annat vägde upp och vi rekommenderar varmt alla att bo på Kaluku!
• Daniel (10/5): - Fantastic resort, with a very friendly team of staff. Location is in a quieter stretch of Gili Air, with sandy beachfront location - excellent for snorkeling. Service is faultless. The team at Kaluku do an excellent job of making your stay enjoyable. Breakfast is particularly tasty, and food/drink options are available throughout the day. Rooms are spacious, with complimentary snacks/water topped up daily. Everything about Kaluku is great - I'd not hesitate to book again when heading back to Gili Air.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - The place is beautiful! Lots of flowertrees and it is on the beach. The shape of the rooms needs renovation. We rented bicycles and it is so easy To explored the Island. Pool is nice and we had a room opposite To the Pool. The out shower in the room is nice. There is a net on the top so don't worry about big animals :)
• Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice play to stay in Gili Air - Topissimo!! for the bunglows , the bed, the view, the breakfast or diner on the beach ( snorkelling just in front was amazing), goog food on the restaurant, staff specially the receptionnist was smiling all the time, very efficient and helpfull . Swimming pool very quiet, in a nice garden. perfect location.
• Marc (4/5): Not recommendable - Completely overpriced for what it offers. Location wise is more or less correct but the rooms are too basic for the price with a lot of mold in it. Electricity left quite a lot of times. Breakfast was bad, especially terrible coffee. The guy in reception was quite rude and not helpful at all. Overall a nice experience in the island and a bad experience in Kuluja

Food overall is alright but breakfast was pretty good. Need to walk about 15+ min to the beach and the main part of town Pool is small but never too busy Would stay again
• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice relaxing hotel on quite side of island - Great little resort oicated on the quiet side if the island. Restaurant on the water makes for a nice center setting. About a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach but offers good snorkeling. Bikes and snorkeling equipment available for rent. Rooms are a good side and have outdoor toilet, shower and sink. Pool is small but adaquate.

• VOJTECH (8/5): - Hotel is located quite far from the harbour but its only 20min to get there by feet. Bathroom is amazing and the best thing there are people.
• Niklas (10/5): - Väldigt mysiga och fräscha rum. Enda minuset var att det slutade komma vatten ibland när man var mitt inne i duschen men utöver det så är det oerhört rent och trevligt här

• Paula (6/5): Island getaway - Room was lovely and in a stand alone bungalow with the bathroom outdoors. There is a big step down to the bathroom with no railing which may not be for everyone. Shower was weak. Pool water too warm to be refreshing. Breakfast was included in the restaurant across the road and that was ok but nothing special. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and it is easy to walk to other areas of the island. I’m not sure but this side of the island seemed to get no breeze so was very hot.
• keld (10/5): Idylisk hygge. - Det var helt fantastisk, meget søde og imødekommende personaler, hytten var super lækker med udendørs badeværelse fed oplevelse. det er helt sikkert et sted vi tager hen igen.
• Arttu (8/5): Nice getaway bungalow with good restaurant - We stayed in bungalow and it was nice with little patio and hammock. Bathroom was local style outside. Some reviews say that there are nets to keep the insects out from bathroom but they are there only to keep leaves from the trees out. Yet we didn’t notice any insects in the bungalow. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bungalow had a moldy smell but that didn’t bother after a while. The restaurant situate at the beach and the staff were really nice and made you feel welcome. Breakfast was quite simple with only couple of options. The dinner and especially grilled sea food was amazing and reasonable prized. Location is nice on the quiet side of Air. Special mention to all the restaurant staff! Super nice people who seems to enjoy their life and work.
• Sanne (8/5): Prima - Wij hadden voor 4 dagen de bungalow met zee zicht. Zat nog wel een straatje en een restaurant tussen maar je zag heerlijk de zee liggen. Bungalow was erg netjes en schoon. Prima bed, buitendouche ook erg mooi met een net gespannen boven de douche voor de beestjes. We hadden wel wat min puntjes, de deuren sloten niet volledig waardoor er aan de zijkant een enorme kier was waar dus alles door naar binnen kan komen. WiFi echt ontzettend slecht terwijl op andere plekken de WiFi exht meer dan prima is. Ontbijt is wel oké, we hebben elke dag wel pannenkoek bij besteld omdat we het erg weinig vonden. Maar de pannenkoek moesten we wel voor bijbetalen helaas. Hij was daarin tegen wel ontzettend lekker dus wel een aanrader!!! Personeel super lief en vriendelijk, ze maken je hutje elke dag spik en span schoon!!
• Pirkko (8/5): Kaluku Gili Resort - Poikkesimme kuudeksi yöksi Gili Airille Balin matkallamme. Hotelli oli hyvä ja rauhallinen. Aamiainen ei ollut kummoinen ravintolassa eikä muutenkaan ruoka heillä mutta onneksi lähellä oli muutama todella hyvä ravintola. Hedelmiä oli hankala löytää saarelta. Hotellissa kuten muuallakin oli ystävällinen ja miellyttävä henkilökunta.Saarella oli ihana ja turvallinen olla.
• Markku (8/5): Hotelli lähellä kilpikonnaa - Ensinnäkin hotelli oli ylibuukattu, jouduimme 1. yöksi viereiseen hotelliin, vaikka olimme jo maksaneet majoituksesta tässä hotellissa. Hyvitykseksi saimme polkupyörät veloituksetta. Tästä syystä vaimoni syntymäpäiväksi suunnittelemamme snorklausreissu jäi toteutumatta. Olimme siis ainoastaan kaksi yötä tällä saarella

• Tim (8/5): Great stay - Overall it was a great stay. The only minor thing was that one lunch we sat in our hotel restaurant for something to eat, after sitting for over 30 minutes trying to catch a waiters eye we got too hungry so left. This was a shame as it was our hotels restaurant and because of this we never ate there again apart from the included breakfast.
• Atle (10/5): Would stay again - Very nice room - very nice outside area and pool. The location is the best on the island. In between the best snorkeling area and the main "restaurant street". Everything is close by and the restaurants there were nice. Big minus that you have to write the password every time you use the wifi. It just complicates a lot.
• Hamid (8/5): Liten enkel hotell trevlig personal! - Trevlig lite hotell, personlig service, trevliga, dock förstår personalen inte engelska så bra, ber man dom något så nickar dom glatt men gör ändå inte rätt, speciellt i frukosten. Sen bytte dom menyn helt plötsligt och pankakor som ingick i frukosten tidigare kostade extra, vi betalade men andra gäster blev irriterad och slapp betala efter diskution. Övrigt bra pool!, enkel lugn miljö, förutom tupparna som låter på morgonen. Sjysst utomhus toa med dush, kass obekväm säng låter mycket men funkar för några dagar.

• Minna (4/5): Kuuma uima-allas ja huonokuntoiset huoneet - Uima-altaan vesi ei ollut lainkaan viilennettyä, ja sen vuoksi uima-allasta ei voinut käyttää lainkaan Huoneen vessa on ulkona. Vessan avonainen osuus oli kuitenkin verkotettu, eikä mitään eläimiä näkynyt vessassa. Huone itsessään oli melko pieni ja kulunut, maalipinnassa reikiä ja lattia aaltoileva eikä ovetkaan täysin tiiviitä. Huoneessa ei ollut sähköpistokkeita sängyn lähellä. Hintaan kuuluva aamupala oli todella kevyt, vaihtoehdot vain länsimaalaisia. Kahden yön visiittimme aikana sähköt katkesivat kolme kertaa, mutta ne palasivat nopeasti. Wifi oli todella hidas. Nämä taitavat kuitenkin olla tyypillisiä ongelmia Gileillä hotellista riippumatta. En palaisi Gileille ja en varsinkaan tähän hotelliin. Maksoimme huoneesta vain noin 40€ yö, eikä huone ollut edes sen arvoinen.
• Nicky (8/5): Friendly and great location - Great welcome at check in, nice room facing the pool. Loved the outdoor bathrooms. Good amount of hot water. There are rooms that are 'beach facing' but the restaurant is blocking the view so I think pool is best! Wifi was terrible for our whole stay. Handy to have bikes on site which we could hire. Breakfast was ok but limited/no buffet. Really good location, you can snorkel right outside the hotel if you want, would highly recommend booking a snorkel tour to see turtles!

• Mark (10/5): Great hotel in a quiet location - Really good hotel for the price you pay. There is similar priced accommodation on the island but not a patch on this one. Clean and quiet with restaurants really close by.

• Snob Diver (8/5): Rough start but all ended well - The email contact on their website didn't work and we had to call the hotel directly twice for different matters after few days of non-reply. Airport transfer service was arranged by the resort. Service staff and Sulaiman, manager, were very attentive. The chef was obliging to our special meal requests.

• Théa (8/5): Hotel au top ! - Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans cet hotel ... Le petit déjeuner est succulent, le personnel est très chaleureux, les extérieurs très bien entretenus. La plage face à l'hôtel est parfaite pour le snorkeling, nous avons meme ou y voir des tortues. La chambre était bien, sauf en terme de propreté ... Nous y retournerons sans hésiter !

• Nanou (6/5): Jolie mais.. - Chouette hôtel et très bon accueil mais on n'a pas dormi des 2 nuits! Lit catastrophique!! Un coté était haut et l'autre bas donc je dégringolait sur mon mari. Matelas horrible! C'était la chambre 04 donc à éviter.. Pour 65€ la nuit, on s'attendait à mieux niveau literie.

• BRUNO (10/5): Paradisiaque ! - 3 nuits sur une ile de rêve avec piscine et sur la plage. La salle de bain qui donne dehors est une curiosité à laquelle nous nous sommes vite habitués. Restaurants partout autour, petit dej sur place et calme toute la journée.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Ok til prisen - Et ok hotel til prisen. Kedelig morgenmad. Poolen var ok, vandet var ikke klart. Liggestolene var uden madrasser og det var hårdt. Venlig personale, kunne snorkle og se fisk lige ved hotellet hvilket var fedt. Restauranter i nærheden. Seng var i stykker da vi ankom. Elskede det udendørs badeværelse, selvom der ikke var meget tryk på bruseren. Ok hotel til prisen, ville lige tjekke andre hoteller ud, men kunne finde på at bo her igen.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Stay a while - Nice place with a good clean room. Pool was a bit cloudy so didn't use it but then why would you when so close to the beach. Walls are very thin between rooms so it depends on who your neighbours are to the quality of the sleep but apart from that and considering the price the place was great

• John (6/5): Could be so much more - Our cabin was old and needs some renovation but was clean and comfortable every thing worked We liked the outdoor shower, Checkin staff where friendly and went smooth, the resort has a pool used once as there is no shading ( trees) a pool sale would be nice the gardens are in a very poor state. Breakfast staff need to be trained on how to cook omelets and pancakes both where below par couldn't eat. Fruit platter was nice, coffee is horrible there is no fresh milk only whitener which is full of maze powder and corn syrup powder very bad for you, the breakfast area had a nice outlook but was not inviting and lacking shading areas to site.about 20 minute walk from the harbor passing many other accommodation places on the way. Would I stay there again ? probably not for the money. better else where
