- Melone (6/5): Would stay there again , the right price for a senior budget - Best beds ever Room 14 the shower and the tub run at the same time heavy flow and hot on the feet

- cawley (10/5): - The bed and the coffee
- cawley (10/5): - I like the bed.
- Viktoriia (7/5): -
- Thomas (7/5): - The room was immaculately clean, which was a very nice surprise, as it was also very dated and somewhat shabby. I loved the clean laundry smell of the crisp sheets. The bed was sway backed and very hard.
- Kevin Bowles (10/5): - Motel is older but kept clean and good location to access several restaurants.
- sara (4/5): Okay but not great - Good location if your just stopping somewhere to just sleep and go. . Bed was comfortable, had cable box to watch or stream your shows. My room had no joke 10 flies. I spent 1 hour trying to kill them with towels... Was not a great experience and took away from my stay.
The other thing is I stayed in the room right in front of the stairs and there was a group of men staying in the hotel who was in and out of the room up until 4am..
As a women who was staying there alone it didn't make me feel comfortable being in a high traffic area zone like that because there was a lot of people passing my window
- Sherre (1/5): Avoid at all costs - disgusting customer service - Booked accommodation 6 weeks prior and secured with my credit card. Received confirmation of booking from booking.com and from the motel. When I arrived I was unceremoniously told by a rude man that my room was sold. Reasons he tried to give were false and when I tried to prove it he just kept repeating “not my problem, goodbye”. Given rooms in the area were completely sold out due to local events I would hazard a guess he upsold my room! Leaving me stranded in a foreign country without accommodations. Disgusting human.

- Andrea (5/5): It was ok for the price we paid. - Close to the hospital Very cluttered, unnecessary stuff in the room. Wifi and TV not easy to figure out. The beds though were very comfortable.
- MarionRuth (8/5): -
- Cara (6/5): - Nice for the price point
- marcus (8/5): Dated, basic, cheap, but good. - It was a basic dated hotel, with great internet access. The beds were just ok and the bath room was small but good. The price was the best feature. If you need a cheap basic place to stay it's the perfect place to stay. Right on the main hyway thru town it was still quiet.
- Shelley (4/5): Last resort - It was clean, bed seemed clean had a big clean fridge. The outside is horrible, scarey even. The office was horrid, smelled, old, gross. I was really scared to stay there with my grand kids. But I went to see the room. It was clean and did not smell. Very out dated, bathtub was old and stained, coffee pot was broken. 200 for two nights, should have been alot less. Did sleep ok, had to turn off aircond when in there was smelly and blowing dirty dusty.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This hotel is quite dated. It was surprising to see a full size refrigerator.
- Katherine (6/5): - The only positive thing a person could say is that the bed was clean and comfortable.
- Denis et Angèle (7/5): bon séjour - Motel calme et personnel agréable
- Deborah (8/5): - It was a great place to stay for the price.

- Ulmer (10/5): -
- Corrina (6/5): -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - The room was clean and quiet. The outside is a little run down but tidy.
- Igor (4/5): Disappointing - Staff was helpful. Good price for the area. Beds were comfortable and clean. Big TV Room smelled bad, like a mix of cigarrette smoke and moist.
- Sagar (10/5): - Nice affordable property.
- Johnson (7/5): First Appearance, you'd say hmmm, but don't judge a book by its cover - The whole stay was great. We stay there when we come to town, the convenience, the quietness and the effency of the room and entranceway. Staff is quiet you never hardly see them but great jobs folks.
And yes the odd riff Raff walks by but mostly just bums wondering by.
And the best part is the new owners /staff are making it better, it's old building but has class. The rooms get better and better (homey) fresh walls. It's has character and I hope it gets better and better for them, it's quite a job dealing with a peice of history, but no complaints as I'm not a deep sleeper.
Keep the character, it's going to be a cool place to stay always, especially if your a people watcher. Location is great but some comedy.
Staff, good job and it looks better everytime we pass through. Lol good one...... The holes in parking lot, lol
Hope I you are not lowto ground inspits.
But lots and lots of parking.
- Vincent (7/5): Good -
- Sonja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Seward (3/5): Needed somewhere to stay one night it served it’s purpose - Location and price Old not well maintained dusty
- Anonymous (7/5): This motel was what we were looking for - convenient, clean and inexpensive. I would stay again. - The Circle 5 Motel fit what we were looking for very well. A place for our family to sleep for a couple nights while travelling between Red deer and Calgary. The rooms were inexpensive and clean, lots of parking, easy to find - even at night. I feel that communication could have been better - we found the wifi password by finding the router behind the TV. As we arrived at night during a rainstorm, we weren't even aware it was connected to a Smitty's. There was a stove, fridge and microwave in the room - however no dishes to be able to use them. And no coffee machine. A one page info guide in the room would be an excellent addition.
- Chyanne (1/5): Terrible - Very poor conditions. Nothing been upgraded for years and we requested a non smoking room and they put us in a smoking room. The AC wasn't blowing cold air also Everything
- Skyler (5/5): Passable -
- Donella (7/5): Good - Close to our convention Could not use shower as could get the cold water to turn on. By the odors in room and burn marks in floor of bathroom the room has been smoked in
- Theresa (6/5): - Overall the stay was not bad, check in was alright and they had a later check in time which was nice but there was a misunderstanding and they thought ibwas only staying the one night not two. Office was dirty, room was alright a little old but pretty clean the bed was very clean and conformable which is the main thing!
- Brett (8/5): Very good - Comfy beds came with a full fridge and stove and a microwave , the staff were very nice ,very accomadating The motel accross the street gets a lil pumpin on the weekends the siesta but you get to watch it from your balcony and have some laughs
- Janice (4/5): I thought the room was very nice!! - It was great. It felt I was paying alot for me. It was great. I don't want to pay top money for a night's sleep. Very adequate.
- Alfred (8/5): Very good - Room itself was well appointed and comfortable. Parking lot was rough and in need of repair. However, that impression was dispelled with the comfort and quality of the room itself.
- Guy (5/5): No water kettle for coffee - Bed was hard, gave us a sore back in the morning
- Shayna (6/5): - The price was decent, but the ceilings were cracked, flooring was used for the shower stall, old cracking paint, it is desperately in need of a complete renovation. Pretty much a dump vibe, but it was clean!
- Velicia (8/5): Stay was very good -
- Heather (7/5): Good -
- Corrina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ahmed (1/5): I couldn’t sleep and left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. - Nothing I had a terrible experience during my stay at Circle 5 Motel. The room I was initially assigned was absolutely unacceptable. It hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest: dirty towels were thrown in the bathtub, garbage was left in the bins, the soap was used, the bed was untidy, and the sheets were unchanged. After complaining, I was moved to another room, but the issues didn’t end there.
The fire detector alarm in the new room beeped every minute until staff replaced the battery. The toilet paper roll provided was used and dirty. The heater fan was unbearably loud, even on the lowest setting, cycling between running for a minute and then going silent for several minutes. The blinds didn’t block out the streetlights, leaving the room too bright for sleeping. On top of that, the pillows were the worst I’ve ever used—uncomfortable and unsupportive.
Overall, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I couldn’t sleep and left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I absolutely do not recommend this motel.
- Severin (10/5): - Very good place to stay. Toilet flushes a bit slow but no issues otherwise.
- Shelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (5/5): Passable -
- Kelly (8/5): Very good -
- Bobby (6/5): - Clean affordable room.
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - Very nice people who run here and take last minute stays Rooms are a little dated but just perfect for the night. Staff very friendly and they take pets
- Klotz (5/5): Passable - Location, full fridge and stove Dirty carpet. Run down. In dire need of renovations
- Corinna (1/5): TERRIBLE! They first had to ask with 3 adults and one small child whether we wanted 1 bed or 2 beds. They then asked if - Nothing They first had to ask with 3 adults and one small child whether we wanted 1 bed or 2 beds. They then asked if it was ok if we stayed in a room that someone had burnt a hole in the carpet with a hot pot and there would be a large hole from that I said no I definitely did not want that. They then gave us another room that turned out to be the room they lived in and we got calls both nights in the middle of the night from people being locked out of the room or people inquiring about what room they were in. The callers said they were directed to call this number and it was the office number. It looked like this hotel houses all there family members and when they rent to others outside family they simply just pack the families in another room. It was filthy inside and out would definitely not recommend this to anyone!
- Weston (8/5): - Look, it’s a little run down, the carpet was lifting in some places, and the bathroom door of our room looked a little rough. You get what you pay for. The staff were friendly and the management were accommodating. The rooms were super clean and the beds were comfy. I’ve stayed at some dirtbag hotels before while travelling in the states for work and this place is an upgrade. Don’t expect 5 star at $89 a night. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in town visiting family.
- Kolbie (8/5): pretty good for the amount you pay for! - staff was hella nice, location was easy enough to find, sheets were clean, shower was nice beds were a little uncomfy, room had scuffs on wall, no issues tho
- FERNANDO (6/5): - Below average for the rate.
- Salman (1/5): I should’ve book my stay somewhere else. - Place was dirty, air conditioner was not working, bugs in the room Everyting
- James (4/5): - Bad
- James (6/5): - The bed linens and towels were spotless, but the carpet was scary dirty. The bathroom was very clean.
- Bree (5/5): Passable - It was on the ground floor Room smelt funny. Found garabge behind the bathroom door. No plug for bathtub to have a bath. Kitchenette- the stove top was missing no pots or pans or dishs
- Richard (10/5): - The convenience , location
- Shelley (4/5): - Dirty floors, broken/damaged furniture. Very out dated.Few guests seemed to be more permanent.Do not recommend, will not stay agai. Worth paying extra to the best western
- George (6/5): - Has a Smitty's Restaurant with great Breakfast buffet. Very dated property - quiet but not elderly friendly - low toilets, old style tubs with hot/cold taps (not pressure balanced). No coffee left in room, when we got coffee for room coffee maker not working. No screens on windows. Light in bathroom took long time to come on. Flexible on checkout time. Beds comfortable. TV worked properly without any issues. One of the dresser drawers didn't have a bottom! Somewhat scary steps to 2nd level 1/2 concrete and 1/2 wood. Lots of peeling paint. Church near by, some amenities (liquor store).
- Harry (5/5): Passable -
- Richard (10/5): - Good people , good environment
- Petronella (8/5): - It’s comfortable and parking is easy and close. No worries about the vehicle being far away. Price is right
- George (8/5): - It was ok, the towels where so clean and bedding where very clean that's good. I was happy to have almost everything in one place.
- Dale (6/5): - Parking lot has numerous pot holes. Lots of junk laying around.
- Jeffrey (4/5): - clean but old, worn out and needs maintenance
- Shawn (6/5): - .
- Kristina (4/5): Definitely not as advertised - Very disappointed with the room we were given. I understand this is NOT a 4 star hotel, but the photos online showed an older, but clean hotel, so I booked a non-smoking room with 1 queen bed. We arrived to a dingy, run down, 2 double bed room that smelled like stale cigarettes. All through our first night there, we were getting fresh smelling cigarette smoke wafting into the room, from where I have no idea but almost made us ill. The second night was marginally better, but not by much. The towel I used for my shower also had 2 stains on it. Very disconcerting to say the least.
- Kim (6/5): - The office is very old and run down. I stayed on the second floor and the steps were full of snow and slippery. Room was decent - however very old and smelled like smoke. Beds and towels were clean and crisp. Room was large and spacious. Full cable channels. Bathroom taps leaked and were hard to use.
I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.
- Mikaela (1/5): Bad -
- Salicon (7/5): Good - I liked that we got sent to a different hotel (way cleaner and nicer) for the same price and service was amazing. All because they overbooked. The service, overbooked. I seen my cousins room, sketchy. Stove at the end of bed hahaha.
- William (2/5): Very poor - The staff were friendly and willing to cancel the reservation without charge The hotel is old and musty. The surrounding area was a bit sketchy.
- Daisy (8/5): Very good -
- Collin (5/5): The price was okay compared to other motels - Sink faucets running and need repair
Noisy group of people below and outside noisy till late evening clean bedding??
- Leah (5/5): It was fine for what we wanted it for - Didn’t know there was a breakfast There was a list of wifi’s to get on to - so took to long to find circle 5 one
- Neil (6/5): Pleasant -
- Melanie (10/5): Great room for an affordable price! And amazing owners! - The owner did an amazing job accommodating my need for a super early check in. They have always been wonderful anytime I've stayed there.
- Gloria (10/5): Fantabulous! - The location. Very close to where I needed to be. Clean. Staff friendly. And very centralized. At this time, nothing
- Chris (6/5): It served its purpose. - Didn't have any wasn't up early enough. It was a great location close to amenities. The kids in the parking lot, they were load
- Angus (3/5): Poor -
- Crystal (8/5): Very good - The room was comfortable and clean. Older hotel could use updates but we knew what it was when we booked . Front staff was excellent and friendly There was a stove but no dishes or pots and pans.. not that we would use them just found it odd. And the sink not adequate to wash anything in it anyway.
- Navdeep (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chuck (3/5): Got rest that is what I wanted - Surprisingly enough the bed was not too bad , comfortable for the night, I would not stay there long term, but overnight served its purpose, It was a older place, in desperate need of updates, the whole place,, especially the power outlets,, but for a overnight stay it did the job,,
- Brian (7/5): Good - Quite for the most part. The bed felt worn out.
- Besse (5/5): Passable -
- Jeanette (7/5): Good -
- Jodi (8/5): Very good -
- Daryl (7/5): Good -
- Wilcox (1/5): Bad -
- maurice (6/5): - itwas very hard 2 find
- Lorne (4/5): - Will never stay there again
- Sam (10/5): - I had a great stay at the Circle 5. The property manager was very kind and ensured I was setup to have a good night and stay at the motel. Suite was older, but very clean and worked well for the price.
- Margaret (4/5): - This property was very run down. The rooms were crammed full of stuff....a full size stove and oven less than 3 feet from the end of the bed. Gap between the door and the door jam could easily allow bugs but most of all it didn't feel like a secure place at all. Sketchy digs.
- Pat (8/5): - Good, basic accommodation.
- James (10/5): - You get what you pay for.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - the price was comparable with exsisting motels in olds alberta. the room was clean, but a very tiny bathroom with no room between the water closet and the bathtub the room did not supply kleenex tissue , the pillows were in need of a upgrading. no electrical outlets were available for our laptop or our phone chargers
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property is very old and outdated. The price was cheap and the room was clean. The owner was super nice and came up to our room to fix our tv and WiFi when we were having issues.
