- Claudine (10/5): Convenient location - Hotel is near the Oboke station which is why we booked it. Excellent hospitality as the hotel customised to its guests. We had a crane origami from the Singapore national flag in our room. At the dining table, the national flag was also displayed. The hotel provides pick up and drop off shuttle service to the Oboke station. The kaiseki dinner is not really that impressive as I had better ones from other hotels in other parts of Japan Hotel gave discount vouchers for the Oboke boat rides so make sure you collect it before going to the boat centre.

- Odelia (10/5): A MUST visit hotel!!! - Great hotel! We stayed in the Designed Room with the River View. The hotel is in small and cozy and in GREAT condition! The staff went far and beyond to provide a great service. Although the staff did not talk English, they managed to get along. This was real Japanese experience!!!!!!!! If you are in the are this is a Must stay at this hotel. We ate breakfast and dinner and also the food was prepared with care and excellence. But we are not use to eat a traditional Japanese food and there are no other choices. At a conclusion, we highly recommend this hotel!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Really enjoyed the outdoor onsen bath on a cool winter day. The food was colorful and artfully presented. There was a unique emphasis on local dishes. The staff was cheerful and very helpful. There are opportunities for sightseeing in the area. Our room had a toilet and shower. The community bathing area had shower and sauna in addition to the onsen hot baths. Bedding is traditional Japanese bed rolls on tatami mat floors. Recommended if looking for traditional experience.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - 本身是一間不錯的酒店, 但是酒店房間分類很有問題, 我們入住3樓的房間是洋式, 我們要求不吸煙的房, 職員說全層的房間都是可吸煙, 只有4樓和式房間才是不吸煙的房, 但房價不同. 在房間內又不可以開窗, 因為會有很多昆蟲飛入房內. 不過, 酒店的晚餐及早餐都不錯, 加回分數.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 熱情窩心的招待, 無語言隔膜 - 非常窩心的服務, 打從我們一停好車子, 便有服務員跑來替我們拿行李。因我們抵達酒店已是下午四時, 從台灣來熱情的女服務員細心的提醒我們大步危游船關門的時間。 她更主動邀請我們參加晚上酒店特別安排的免費營火蟲之旅, 對於一些好像我們一向住在城市的旅客來說, 真是一個難忘的經驗。 很值得一提的是酒店有兩個頗隱蔽的風呂, 由於酒店接待的客人不多, 我總是能夠獨個兒佔用整個露天風呂, 享受一個寧靜悠閑的假期。

We ended up getting an extra room for friend and it was very difficult to nearly impossible to explain that we wanted to order a meal for him too. - Ying (6/5): 交通便利，服务热情。 - 酒店比较陈旧，但酒店服务都很热情，周围好像没什么好玩的地方，都需要乘车，离大步危车站不算远，但步行恐怕也要20分钟，有行李的话还是打电话让酒店车来接，酒店离公路比较近，河对面山腰有百年历史的铁路，早晨能听到火车声，喜欢安静和风景更好的朋友可以再往上里找住宿旅馆。酒店和大步危游船是同一个老板，老板也很热情朴实，台湾来的实习生中文和日文都很好，不会讲日文的朋友会感到很方便。

Even a little bit English communication staffs but every challenge was met by this team with enthusiasm and a “can do”. They have a internship from Taiwan that speak Chinese very well to help. 20% discount coupon for boat trip from hotel.
