• Ronny (10/5): Traumhafter Aufenthalt im Shantaa Resort auf Koh Kood - Unser Aufenthalt im Shantaa Resort war einfach traumhaft. Unser Zimmer war perfekt eingerichtet – warm, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass wir zu zweit sogar jeweils einen eigenen Kleiderschrank hatten. Sobald man die Vorhänge aufzog, hatte man das Gefühl, mitten im Dschungel zu sein – einfach wunderschön und unglaublich entspannend. Das Außenbad war total urig, gleichzeitig aber stilvoll und schön eingerichtet. Jeder Gang ins Bad – egal ob zum Duschen oder einfach nur auf die Toilette – war ein kleines Erlebnis für sich. Unser Zimmer lag zudem sehr privat, sodass man absolute Ruhe und Privatsphäre genießen konnte. Wir würden jederzeit wieder die Villa 2 „Shantaa Extra Sweet“ buchen. Das Frühstück war à la carte und ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Tagsüber und abends waren wir meist unterwegs essen, aber am ersten und letzten Abend haben wir auch im Hotelrestaurant gegessen – und es war vorzüglich. Dazu kam ein wirklich herausragender Service. Das Personal versteht dort echte Gastfreundschaft und weiß genau, wie guter Service funktioniert. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Auch der Pool war wunderschön groß und angenehm ruhig, da er selten überfüllt war. Insgesamt ein Ort, an den wir jederzeit zurückkehren würden. Der Pier direkt am Strand war optisch störend und kann aus unserer Sicht entfernt werden.

Das Personal ist total aufmerksam und das Frühstück extrem gut. Vielleicht lag es an der Jahreszeit aber der Strand direkt beim Hotel war nicht sehr gut zum schwimmen geeignet.

Etwas wenige Ablagen. Das Konzept mit dem Bett auf einem Podest ist etwas unkomfortabel. Steht man auf dem Podest, ist das Bett zu niedrig.
• Alexia (6/5): Für unseren Geschmack zu langweilig - Der perfekte Ort für Menschen mit Burnout. Die erhöhte Lage ist schön. Es ist in der Umgebung das beste Resort. Der Strand eignet sich nicht zum Baden - rutschige Felsen. Man ist fast "gezwungen" im Hotel zu essen - die Preise sind für Thai-Verhältnisse 5 Mal so teuer wie gleichwertiger Streetfood anderswo. Da die Insel kaum bevölkert ist, gibt es auch keine Alternativen in Geheistanz zum Hotel. Ein Roller kostet 330 Baht pro Tag, ein Fahrer 520 Baht pro hin- und Rückweg. Wir empfehlen diese Insel wirklich nur wenn man komplettes Detox vom Alltag und Medien will.
• michael (10/5): Amazing. Beautiful property, comfy beds, the food is devine and the staff are lovely. - We booked the Shantaa Sweets for 3 nights and they were lovely. Very comfy beds and the outdoor bathroom was beautiful and we weren't bothered by mosquitoes or other insects. The resort is huge, with lovely gardens. The food was amazing and would recommend you eat at the restaurant even if not staying at the resort. It was packed most nights for dinner so booking is a good idea. Breakfast was just divine. Yes it's on the expensive side to stay here, but for our 1st time on Koh Kood, we wanted to ensure we had accommodation that was well recommended by other travelers. We knew in advance about the beach being rocky but we snorkel so was lovely to do that right from the beach and see lots of colourful fish. It's only a short 5 minute walk under the pier to a beach without rocks. The resort organised a driver for a day trip around the island, who was very accommodating and drove very well. We felt very safe even when we were asking him to drive on dirt roads so we could see more remote beaches. The resort also arranged our ferry tickets and transport back to Trat airport. The resort is immaculate, the food amazing and we felt it was worth the money to stay there. We are coming back next year as we loved Koh Kood and staying for longer this time so we can visit Koh Muk. There wasn't anything we didn't like. Yes there are other resorts in a better location if you want to walk to some shops or restaurants. There is a small supermarket not far from the resort and another resort next door which had live music, but you couldn't hear it from our resort. But there are no shops or other restaurants within walking distance. We didn't care, as we loved the tranquility of Shantaa and it takes a bit of travelling from Bangkok to get there, so we were happy to chill, relax and enjoy this amazing place.

• Cat65 (9/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einem tollen Resorts! - Da merkt man schon bei der Ankunft das hochwertige Resort. Toller Empfang. Super ausgestattete Bungalows. Wir hatten den Sweet in toller Lage. Sehr gutes Frühstück à la Carte. Auch das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen. Sehr gute und ausgefallene Cocktails. Schöner Pool aus weissem Marmor. Obwohl das Resort ausgebucht war, war das nicht zu merken und es gab immer und überall ausreichend Platz und Liegen. Ganztägig kostenloses Wasser am Beach/Pool. Kostenloses Schnorchelequipment, Kajak, SUP. Bei Flut kann man zwischen den Felsen gut schnorcheln. Leider gibt es keinen Sandstrand direkt am Resort - aber links runter ist ein grosser öffentlicher Sandstrand, wo auch weitere Resorts mit Restaurants am Strand sind. Überhaupt gibt es auf Koh Kood viele tolle einsame Sandstrände! Die wunderschöne Optik des Resorts wird nur durch einen alten Betonpier am südlichen Teil gestört. Zu unserer Zeit lag fast jeden Tag ein altes Schiff, was den be-/entladen wurde.

I can only recommend it. The bathroom was like a jungle, we were shocked by the sophistication. The view is stunning. We have been to other accommodation on Koh Kood, but it does not come close to Shantaa Resort.

• Justin (10/5): Super schöne Zeit in einem tollen Hotel - Einfach alles. Wir waren schon in vielen sehr guten Hotels auf vielen Inseln in Thailand aber das war wirklich ein einzigartiger Aufenthalt. Alles , aber auch wirklich alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet.wir wären gerne länger geblieben als 5 Nächte. Einzig der angespülte Müll am Hotelstrand empfanden wir als negativ , da kann das Hotel nichts für, es könnte aber doch häufiger gereinigt werden.

Every corner of the resort is thoughtfully designed to immerse you in nature while still offering absolute comfort and elegance. The bungalows are a highlight in themselves. Perfectly spaced for total privacy, they feel like your own secluded retreat. Waking up to the gentle sounds of nature, stepping onto a private terrace surrounded by greenery, and feeling completely undisturbed - it’s the kind of peace that’s hard to find anywhere else. What truly elevates the experience, though, is the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay unforgettable. Each meal was full of vibrant flavors, beautifully presented and consistently delicious. The a-la-carte breakfast was another highlight of our dining experience! • caroline (7/5): Très bel hôtel mais ne bénéficiant pas d’un accès adapté à la plage et la mer alors que c’est la raison de venir sur cet - Très propre, très bonne cuisine, personnel très agréable Pas de plage pour se baigner contrairement aux photos qui font penser à une plage de sable avec transat. En réalité l’abord est rocheux et donc peu accessible voir dangereux Le restaurant prend la dernière commande à 20:30 le soir

• Corina (10/5): Wir würden jeden der nach Koh Kood kommen will, dieses Resort mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen. Es war eine tolle Zeit bei e - Es fehlte an nichts , man kann sich schön entspannen und den Urlaub genießen . Das Frühstück war genial , das beste Frühstück, dass wir je in Thailand hatten . Zwei Mädels die im Service im Restaurant arbeiten waren nicht so freundlich , aber es war vielleicht auch einfach deren Art

• Pekka (10/5): Amazing! - Everything is amazing! This is truly a must place to stay if they have a room available. Food is amazing! We ate every evening at the resorts restaurant. Good pool, unlimited amount of drinking water and they know I room number from the beginning when I made the first order at the bar. Thai massage was not that great.

Das liebevolle und zuvorkommende Personal, die traumhafte und toll gepflegte Anlage, das grandiose Zimmer welches keine Wünsche offen ließ, das phänomenale Frühstück welches wir nicht in Worte beschreiben können und ein Abendessen der ganz besonderen und leckeren thailändischen Art haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Liebes Shantaa Resort, wir kommen im nächsten Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns schon riesig auf unsere Zeit bei euch.

The food in the restaurant is outstanding, two lovely cafes serving delicious drinks and desserts. What makes it even more special is the staff. They are so kind and exceeded our expectations every single time. Truly remarkable service. We travel a lot and have stayed in amazing resorts before, but Shantaa is by far the best. Nothing, everything was amazing.

Perfect for couples looking for a romantic couple of days away from crowds and other people. It is a journey to get there.

Paluukyyti suoraan hotellin rannalta. Hotellilla on vain pieni hiekkaranta, mutta sieltä pääsee helposti isommalle rannalle. Hieman pitkät etäisyydet mutta toisaalta joka paikassa oli rauhallista kun kaikki asiakkaat eivät olleet samassa paikassa.

• Sonia (10/5): Ein echtes Juwel auf Koh Kood - Sehr gepflegtes, kleines Resort auf Koh Kood, ideal für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und eine entspannte Umgebung schätzen. Das Shantaa Resort liegt direkt am Meer – wunderschön, grün und angenehm ruhig. Die Strandabschnitte sind zwar eher klein, dafür aber sehr schön, gepflegt und perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Bungalows sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, blitzsauber und hervorragend in die Umgebung integriert. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die sehr bequemen Matratzen, ich habe wunderbar geschlafen. Insgesamt fühlt man sich schnell wohl und kann vom ersten Moment an abschalten. Das oft gelobte Frühstück und auch das Essen insgesamt sind tatsächlich herausragend: frisch, hochwertig, abwechslungsreich und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Zusätzlich werden 10 % auf alle Kosten aufgeschlagen, die nicht – wie sonst üblich – bereits in den Preisen enthalten sind.
