Guest Reviews
- Z8396PMchristinac (10/5): Close, Comfortable, and Convenient Stay - Near Letchworth State Park - Close to Letchworth State Park. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Convenient hours for breakfast and arrival/departures. Thank you!
- 682harrist (8/5): Good spot for Letchworth - For the price it was a good stay. The staff is welcoming and friendly. It gave us a good spot for our trip which was all about Letchworth and hiking. If you want, it is only 40 minutes up to Pittsford for a fun ride on the Erie Canal. A few decent places to eat in town and a surprise find outside the Castile gate (nice little diner which looks run down but has really good food). My demerits: they do not have any anti-slip grid in the bathtubs so be careful showering and no safe in the room. As for the hotels “breakfast”, it’s free and average. All in all the best place to stay if you are coming to the region to hike Letchworth.
- Rosalie (10/5): - Good place to stay.
- IrmaG497 (10/5): Excellent - This simple, reasonably priced no frills hotel has many pluses. It is a hop skip and jump from the entrance to Letchworth Park. It is clean, new everything works well and it has every amenity you might need. It has a large supply of towels, the bed and pillows are comfortable, there is a coffee station in the lobby and a coffee pot in the room. The sink has a decent sized counter. There are enough outlets to charge the batteries.
It has an iron and ironing board, a nice supply of hangers and a few drawers for storage. It has a free buffet breakfast that is available from 6AM so that you can spend a full day in the park. The buffet has both hot and cold items. A nice touch is that an employee came around with sanitary spray when we were finished eating. We had an excellent experience.
- Michael (10/5): - Perfect for Letchwood SP exploring.
- Edward (10/5): - Proximity to Letchworth State Park. Friendly staff.
Quiet.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Comfy beds, spacious rooms but extremely poor brea - At the Check in, lady was rude and not helpful. Requested room next to the elevator bcoz of my disabled son but nope. She gave the last room of the floor which was very far from the elevator.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Best part was the comfortable bed, which was siper soft.
Breakfast was a big disappointment. Less budget hotels can have better Breakfast than this. If charging around $200 per night than give good breakfast. Very small breakfast room and bare minimal breakfast items. Never had this kind of poor breakfast paying such a roomrate.
- Kirstin (10/5): - Close to the state park and downtown Mount Morris.
- Christine (10/5): - The hotel was lovely, the room was spacious and clean and we loved the pool and hot tub! Staff was friendly and attentive. We had a lovely stay.
- A9187MJmikee (10/5): Solid comfortable experience. - Spacious rooms, everything clean and in working order, good breakfasts (staff works hard at cleaning tables and replenishing food, warm pool and spa.
- Walton (10/5): - Very nice
- G7548HSsarahh (8/5): Convenient location - Clean very bare bones 2 story hotel.
Fluffy super nice towels and comfortable beds .
Breakfast was a huge disappointment. Bold coffee pot was empty at 7am while front desk person was on the phone. No fruit 2 days in a row, just lots of carbs. Very expensive for a holiday weekend and no bonus anything.
- Febelet (10/5): - The hotel is clean and very comfortable.definitely gonna go back again.
- Art-80818 (10/5): Great accommodations at a reasonable price! - Outstanding property with good and friendly service. Good location at north end of Letchworth State Park. Would stay here again if we come back to this area! Room was comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but adequate. Good grill/pub in village!
- Cynthia (10/5): - The staff was wonderful. We got there a day early and they worked with us to get a room across from the one we reserved earlier so all we had to do was roll our things across the hall the morning of our reservation. Very quiet and comfortable
- Janine (10/5): Great hotel near SUNY Geneseo - The hotel was great. Clean and recently renovated, will definitely stay again.
- Cathy (6/5): - The staff is very nice and the rooms are clean. When you walk into the room, it does have an unpleasant smell almost musty. The room doesn’t have any artwork on the walls so it’s completely bare, felt like a dorm. The shower drain was awful, drained very slow. You can hear music and the TV from the rooms next to u so walls seem thin. Continental breakfast was ok, don’t think it was real eggs they served. It looked like the eggs in a fast food breakfast sandwich. But other than that it was fine for one night. The staff was very nice!
- cessnapilot2 (10/5): Great Stay - This is one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed at. The folks at check in and check out were friendly and very helpful when I had questions. Hotel exterior and interior were spotless and clean. The rooms were the same. The hot tub and pool area were well maintained. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. I would not hesitate to stay at this location in the future. Nice job folks !!!
- Samantha (8/5): - Stayed here overnight by for a Bills game with my husband and son. Very clean, friendly staff, and the free breakfast was nice as well. Go Bills!
- Trevor (10/5): - Needed a place to stay during a road trip. Nice hotel! Clean and had everything I needed.
- Bryan (10/5): - Good place close on the state park
- happywanderer23 (10/5): Good Stay - Stayed here for one night in September 2024.
Stayed in a suite that had a couch and chair and desk in a living room area. The bed was located in a separate bedroom. Room had a bar sink as well. TV is living room and bedroom. All amenities were in good condition.
Breakfast included. Good hot and cold options available. Coffee was available in the lobby.
Hotel has a pool and exercise room. Very close to the northern entrance of Letchworth State Park.
Would stay again.
- mahopacobiwan (10/5): Perfect hotel to see the sights; large updated clean rooms, great pool, jacuzzi & breakfast! - The entire place is immaculate, clean, large rooms, fantastic breakfast! My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights in September, and were very pleased at everything. Right next to Letchworth State Park (that's why we came), the small town has a few restaurants (High Banks Tavern - very good; Leaning Tower - great pizzeria), a nice stroll through town with gift, antique & other shops. Our room at the hotel was very large, very clean, and very updated (like recently renovated within the last few years). The small pool was perfect to unwind at the end of the day, and the large jacuzzi was even better - open until 11 pm! Staff was very friendly, and the hot breakfast (and continental) was delicious. Highly recommend!
- KarinESinnott (10/5): Great place close to Letchworth State Park! - It is very convenient to Letchworth State Park. We stayed in a king suite and liked that the bedroom was a separate room with a door from the other living space. The wet bar with microwave and little refrigerator was great! The room was comfortable with good shades and the bedding was very nice. The hot tub was relaxing and the pool was also popular amongst guests. Breakfast was good and changed from 1 day to the next. Parking was plentiful and conveniently located near multiple doors. I would stay again!
- aerober (8/5): Nice hotel for access to park but limited in restaurants around it during our stay - The hotel itself was nice. a few drawbacks though. There was nothing open but some sub shops and small grab and go restaurant when we were there on a Monday and Tuesday. So eat before you arrive in another town. Also, the breakfast food was great but the breakfast room is so small both mornings we had to wait to eat to get a seat ( only 3 of us). the pool was nice and the hotel was also nice. The suites are huge. They must have remodeled or its fairly new as the bathrooms were nice and clean and new fixtures. it has a lovely courtyard and gazebo to sip your morning coffee if you are an early riser. Its location in relation to the entrance of Letchworth State Park is a mile but its at the Northern entrance so you need to travel quite a ways to get to the main attractions of the falls.
- X648UUjims (2/5): STAY AWAY!!!!!! OMG STAY AWAY!!!! - This was one of the worst places I've ever stayed.
1st: The hotel room is painted in a neutral grey with absolutely nothing on the walls. Only a blackout shade, no curtains. The mid grey kept the room incredibly dark. The only thing with color is the only chair in the room which I sat in so could not see any color. The room is large and one half has a single vinyl couch, NOTHING else. No table, no chairs. Nothing. The overall effect is that of barren, lifeless, depressing, soulless desolation. It's not the most depressing room I've ever been in as I have been to Dachau. The blackout shade works well so you can make it darker and even worse if you so desire. I was stuck in there for almost a week.
2nd: There is a kind of 'walkway' of sorts to the left of the main entrance which is the worst safety hazard I've encountered in a hotel. It is far safer to walk in traffic. Luckily my skull missed the sharp edge of the wooden pillar. Unluckily my shoulder didn't miss and it hurt the entire week I was there.
3rd: There are semis going up and down the road right in front. Good luck sleeping. A jake break at midnight ruined my first night.
4th: They have coffee in the morning. The cup fits perfectly in a car's cup holder. Exactly. Like a sleeve. Except the top of the cup is about a quarter inch shorter than the cup holder. The net effect is a cup of hot coffee almost impossible to remove from the holder. But it gets better. The paper the cup is made out of is so cheep the cup begins hemorrhaging coffee after about five minutes. Removing the cup from the cup holder at this point WILL result in a hole in the flimsy cup. I arrived to my first day at a new job exhausted from the jake break yet with coffee across my thighs. While I used the cup holder only once I was stupid enough to take a cup a second time with the same leak. Skip the coffee.
5th: The one time I went to breakfast, which was only 20 minutes after breakfast began, both the eggs and sausages were cold, like they had been out since end of the previous day's breakfast. Never went back.
Why does trip advisor force you to give a star? This place does not rate as high as a one star.
- HobokenTravel (4/5): cute place but a tough room - The check-in process was easy and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. The hotel and our room were clean. BUT, the actual room had a very pungent odor. At first I thought it could be a wet carpet that was never dried properly. Having seen a couple people with pets, it could also have been from a dog I suppose. Either way, the smell hit us every time we walked in the room. We had unpacked so quickly and were only staying one night so it was not worth asking for a room change.
- Arthur (10/5): - Staff was great we had a great time here definitely coming back
- Avadhanam (10/5): - A very affordable and convenient hotel to visit Letchworth state park
- MSL51MOhio (8/5): Clean 3 star hotel. - Country Inn and Suites, Mount Morris is a small 3 star hotel. It is not fancy, but it is clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep. Bathroom was very clean! The cleaning staff does a great job and were very kind. Walls are thin and you could hear the banging of doors. We could not get the air conditioning to regulate properly, and the fan in bathroom was loud. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub area. Breakfast was ok. Some fruit and danish would be nice. Plain eggs are preferable. Not everyone likes the eggs with peppers. We weren't impressed with the management. The front staff of woman were friendly but not the men. (Take the time to greet your guests!) I was basically called a liar by a man when I called about getting a lower price on my reservation. He said I made my reservation online and he could not help. I did not. I had called directly and talked to someone at the hotel and also talked to someone with choice hotels to make my reservation. Not online. Anyway, the hotel is close to Letchworth State Park and Mount Morris has a quaint downtown. You get what you pay for here.
- Christine (10/5): Lovely stay - This location seems like a relatively new build. Everything is pristine. Small hotel but lovely staff who are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is simple but adequate to get you going in the morning. Would absolutely recommend this location. 10 minutes to Geneseo, quick and easy.
- jerryg649 (10/5): Family Friendly. Clean. A great place to stay. - We loved our 1st floor room looking out on a quad of trees filled with birds, it was really quiet and private. We came for a quick getaway the day before Thanksgiving. Just to swim and relax. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are clean. The pool and hot tub were relaxing. Breakfast was the usual fare, enough to get you moving before checkout. Lobby coffee was great. TV has a good assortment of channels. This is a good reasonably priced family friendly hotel, and would 100% reccomend it. Mt Morris is a small town, but if you stay there are things to do! It's 2 minutes from Letchworth State Park (the "Grand Canyon Of the East")and 5 from the Mt Morris Dam site. For food I highly recommend Brian's USA diner, make a right out of the parking lot and and it will be on the edge of town on your left. Have breakfast there atleast 1x before you leave. Yum. For dinner there are several pizza places and other cozy options in the old fashioned downtown area. (Left out of the parking lot). For late snacks McDonalds (turn left at the signal downtown) is open very late. And there's a donut shop, I think Dunkin. I saw Chinese takeout as well, near the McDonalds. There are antique stores, and other small businesses to explore. You are ten minutes from Geneseo if you need Wegmans or Walmart. I would stay here over any place in Geneseo. It's a nicer experience. Thanks for a lovely stay, we will be back.
- SteelersGal (10/5): Perfect in every way. - I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Though our stay was only one night, it was perfect. We were traveling to Buffalo, NY in the middle of a blizzard and had planned our stay here on the way to the NFL playoff game. My first encounter was when I had to cancel our Saturday night stay (due to snow and the game being rescheduled) and asked to be rebooked for Monday night. Done with no problems. After we finalized our return travel plans, I called to ask about an early check in as we were driving up the day of the game now and wanted to be able to change before heading to the stadium. The woman at the front desk taking my call was so pleasant and helpful. She tried to give me an answer then but there were too many variable to guarantee anything. She even gave me a great report on road conditions and what to expect. She told me to call the next morning en route and speak to the manager about the early check in. I did just this and had the most helpful person (sadly I didn't get her name). While she told me that they had been totally booked the night before, it would depend on who left when and how quickly they could clean rooms. She said she would keep an eye out for me and if it was possible a room would be ready when we got there. I sort of smiled and rolled my eyes (to myself) thinking how many times before had I heard this? Well, true to her word, when we arrived at 11:30 there was a room waiting for us!!! This was not just lip service, it was true customer service!! What a help it was and was SO appreciated by us.
The room itself was very large and comfortable with a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was well appointed. It looked like the hotel had been recently renovated and updated. If ever in the area again, I would definitely choose The Country Inn and Suites. And I highly recommend to everyone. Keep up the good work, Country Inn! And thank you for your hospitality!
- Louis (10/5): - Great pool and hot tub. Spotless hotel.
Nice hot breakfast. Employees friendly, helpful. We will be back.
- Gloria (10/5): - The property was very close to the entrance of Letchworth State Park 👍. The hotel is clean. The room is spacious.
We could heard conversations from the next room and door slamming by other guests. As a whole, it is a good hotel.
- Jennifer (10/5): - They had an excellent breakfast with lots of options.
- Mike (10/5): - Very quiet. Very comfortable beds and nice room layout. Very good free breakfast provided. Only complaint was had trouble finding help at the front desk for questions and to check out
- Cynthia (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean environment
- Aaron (10/5): - Would stay again
- jessica (10/5): - Not far from the Moto Track we were going to Sunday morning and a pool and hot tub to keep the kids occupied on the rainy day before!! Lots of food and quick shopping close by if needed. Would definitely rent again if I’m the area!
- Michel (8/5): - The place was very clean so is the room.
Beds are very comfortable.
We had a little issue with next door neighbor, but Jake at the front desk went out of his way to help us and took care of the problem ( thank you Jake )
- Lori (10/5): - It was clean and quiet
- Anne (8/5): - Clean and convenient
- Charles (10/5): - The property and facility was very clean.
- Paul (4/5): - Extremely noisy. Road noise until midnight from trucks entering town. It starts up again at 5am. Property is located close to road and truck brake retarders are very loud. Noise inside hotel (door closings) is easily heard, no insulation? Management was very accomodating of my 2 dogs, which is why I selected this hotel.
- Scott (8/5): - I was disappointed when there was no daily maid service. I paid good money. We stayed three days and nothing. If you needed something you had to ask
- robert (6/5): - Nice big room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
- Bernadette (10/5): Great Hotel! - The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
- Aamna (10/5): - We stayed here for one night over a weekend and it met our needs. Although a bit pricey, it was close to Letchworth. The continental breakfast was great and had enough options to choose from. I would stay here again.
- traveltheworld461 (8/5): Warm country welcome - We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites near Letchworth State Park for two nights to attend a wedding. The room was clean, but the sheets were not super soft. No complaints. Not a lot of choice in this area, but it was a decent hotel and we felt safe. The complimentary breakfast was standard.
- Lucy (10/5): - Comfortable room, nice variety of breakfast foods.
- BigRedJonson (10/5): Best accommodations in the area - Finest hotel in the proximity of Letchworth State Park. Less than one mile from the north entrance, then it's about a 20 minute drive inside the park to the Upper and Middle Falls area. Not many accommodations in the area from which to choose, and this is the only national chain.
A top quality facility. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Everything is in pristine condition and good working order. We spent a few extra bucks and reserved a room with a jacuzzi tub for 2. The room was HUGE and the tub was nice to relax and soak in after a day of hiking. Not many restaurants in the area from which to choose. We recommend Brian's USA Diner, about a mile north of the hotel.
Slight delay when we checked in due to a glitch in the computer system. The friendly, professional, knowledgeable staff quickly solved the problem by rebooting the system. The rates are higher than the local independent hotels but you get what you pay for, including free hot breakfast. Hot coffee and tea available in the lobby 24/7. Book here and have peace of mind, knowing you won't be disappointed.
- Steve (8/5): - Overall a decent stay. There is a cement factory next door so don’t plan on sleeping late or having a clean car if you park there for more than a few hours.
Staff are friendly and the rooms are quite comfortable.
Keycards are deactivated incredibly easily but there is always someone at the desk that will happily reactivate it.
- Audra (10/5): - The room configuration. Great to sit and watch tv nit in a bed
- patricia (4/5): - Did not meet my expectations
- Lorene (10/5): - We loved our stay here! Its cozy, clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need and then some. We will definitely stay here again if we need lodging in this area!
- Pancho (10/5): - All goo
- Lynn (6/5): - The room smelled musty.
- Michael (10/5): - Convenient, comfortable, clean, exceptionally friendly staff and, usually reasonably priced. Have stayed several times. Always the same. Never disappoints.

- Yulong (10/5): - Excellent hotel, very friendly staff.
- Casie (10/5): - Clean, friendly
- Jennifer (8/5): - Close to SUNY Geneseo.
- Michael (10/5): - Y
- David (10/5): - Excellent breakfast. Very quiet, clean, room. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
- Janice (10/5): - Well appointed rioms, very spacious, friendly staff
- Oren (10/5): - Great place
- Tammy (10/5): - Close to the college. Clean
- Csaba (10/5): - Clean, comfortable, convenient. Morning coffee and breakfast.
- Brandy (10/5): - It was easy to find. Nice neighborhood. Close to many attractions. Our check-in could have gone smoother but the staff members super sweet.
- Jennifer (10/5): - The property was fine but nearly impossible to find a place to eat after 7:30. We did find an ice cream shop that served burgers.-Zeppo's Creekside Creamery, nice friendly service!
- LAP (2/5): - Check-in was terrible and they turned off our key on day of check out before the designated 11am time
- Rajiv (10/5): - Had a wonderful stay at the hotel… The property amenities are great… The staff at the hotel are very helpful and catered to our special requests… The property is in great condition and located very close to the Letchworth State Park north gate… The only drawback is that there is limited to zero dining options Sunday thru Wednesday around the property…
- 766vivianf (8/5): Basic hotel, clean with very pleasant staff - I think the heading says it all. The hotel has whatever you need. Everything works. The rooms are fine. It’s very convenient to the park. The breakfast is typical for this kind of hotel. Not gourmet, but sufficient choice and you won’t go away hungry.
- Karl (10/5): - Nice room and great complimentary breakfast.
- Robert (10/5): - Breakfast food was really good 👍
- Walter (10/5): - The property and room was clean and bright
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was great
Service was friendly, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend 👌
- Suzanne (10/5): - Totally enjoyed our two-night stay. Clean rooms, excellent staff, great breakfast. Very close and convenient to Letchworth State Park area.
- Jennifer (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay, traveling with our golden lab senior dog can sometimes be a challenge but everyone there was wonderfully gracious and kind, made us all feel welcome. We were given a room on the ground floor right next to the outer door which was super convenient and thoughtful.
- ginahP1139CU (6/5): The beds are so hard and uncomfortable - The place is very nice and clean. However, The bed was horrible. It actually caused me pain laying on it. It was a king size bed but the pillows were the size for a toddler bed. They should put more money into the comfort of their beds. The overall hotel looks newly renovated. Unfortunately, I would never stay again.
- Kathleen (10/5): - Really liked the rooms, clean. Easy access driving into Letchworth!
- Don (10/5): - It was clean and very convenient
- Sharon (10/5): - We had a great stay! Family of 4 visiting for a nearby event. Nice pool and hot tub, excellent breakfast, super helpful staff! Clean and spacious room. Would stay there again.
- James (10/5): - Nice clean motel just south of Rochester. In a quaint town. Will use again.
- Jeffrey K (10/5): - Hotel was clean an I the staff helpful
- Kathleen (10/5): - Beautiful property in a small town. Solid continental breakfast. Helpful and polite staff.
- jimhK7969MX (10/5): Perfect stay!! Excellent if you are in town to visit letchworth state park - We arrived at noon which is 3 hours before check in and they let's us check in without an issue. The property is spotless. The staff is wonderful. Free breakfast in the morning was good and filling. The property is in a great location. The entrance to letchworth state park is literally a couple hundred yards up the road. If in town be sure to eat at brians usa diner, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend staying here.
- Nadezhda (2/5): - Strong musty smell in hotel, pull out couch had dirty sheets. One staff member for entire property. Would never stay here again. Drive to next town. Swimming pool had feces in there.
- jonathan (10/5): - The place was very clean and safe. The breakfast in the morning was definitely better than a lot that I have had at hotels in the past.
- Grace (10/5): - Perfect for our needs !
- Terence (10/5): - good hotel
- davidhH9501GG (10/5): Great property in excellent condition - With most hotels looking disheveled and in poor condition due to deferred maintenance, this hotel stands out. Whoever owns it takes great care of the hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was good. Don't stay anywhere else if you are in the area.
- LeeAud (10/5): Excellent place to stay! - We were at Letchworth State Park and were too tired to drive 5 hours home. We stopped here and got a room for one night. The young lady at the desk, besides being very pretty was also very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast that we ever had Good variety to choose from and very tasty. We would recommend this place to everyone!
- Cindy (10/5): One night, good pick - Very comfortable with friendly staff. One night stay as part of a longer trip.
- Ivy (6/5): - I was very disappointed in the cleanliness and overall condition of this property. For $200 a night, I expected better. There was some type of hair, which appeared to be an animal, all over the pillows, what appeared to be dried blood streaks on the bathroom wall, and a big round brown stain on our carpet. The pool area in general was dirty and not well kept and the pool itself was very small and cloudy. The breakfast was okay but the options were very limited. I did enjoy the area as it was very convenient to Letchworth and the rooms were fairly soundproof. The staff was pleasant on arrival and in the breakfast area. Overall for the price, I would not recommend or stay again.
- Michael (8/5): Letchworth lodging. - First time staying here as we visited Letchworth State Park. Wanted a dog friendly place and this more than worked out. Great location. Lots of green space. Clean comfortable and friendly. Good parking and right outside of north end of the park.
