• Carsten (8/5): - Ich war geschäftlich unterwegs, die Menschen, die in dem Hotel arbeiten waren sehr freundlich und haben mir das Gefühl vermittelt als Gast willkommen zu sein. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Da ich bis spät in die Nacht arbeiten musste (Tage alter Musik) war die entspannte Haltung bezüglich Ende des Frühstückes sehr angenehm. Das Zimmer war sehr klein und direkt unter dem Dach, leider mit lautem Straßenverkehr. Die Klimaanlage hat das Zimmer gut kühl gehalten bei sommerlichen Temperaturen. Das Zimmer entsprach nicht dem Bild auf der Website von Expedia beim Buchen des Zimmers. Bei Abreise habe ich mir ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock angesehen. Das war sehr viel ruhiger. Parkplatz im Innenhof für 8€ am Tag. Gute Lage um mit Fahrrad oder zu Fuß in die Innenstadt zu kommen. In Summe: Ich würde hier wieder übernachten, v.a. die Freundlichkeit und Entspanntheit beim Frühstück und die gute Lage sind für mich ausschlaggebend.
• Daniela (8/5): - An sich hätte ich 5 Sterne gegeben, der Aufenthalt war toll, das Frühstück auch mit viel Auswahl und sehr lecker und der Service gut. Vor allem das Bett: phänomenal! Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Einzige Kritik: Leider hatte ich unschöne Flecken auf dem Kopfkissen und das zu kleine Waschbecken (generell sehr kleines Bad) war etwas unpraktisch, daher "nur" 4 Sterne. Aber: wir kommen sehr gerne wieder :)
• Kathrin (6/5): - In der ersten nacht sind hotelgäste auf der feuertreppe rauchen gegangen bis 22.30 und die tür war beim schliessen sehr laut so das wir immer aus dem schlaf gerissen wurden. Da unser zimmer neben an.

Frühstück zubuchbar, nicht probiert, sah aber sehr vielfältig und lecker aus. Kleiner Minuspunkt - es gab keinen Kleiderschrank auf dem Zimmer, aber für eine Citytour von ein paar Tagen geht es mit den vorhandenen Ablageflächen auch ohne.

• Sylvie (10/5): Kurzaufenthalt Familie - Kurzaufenthalt mit den Kindern, für eine Nacht. Wir hatten ein tolles Familienzimmer. Das Personal ist äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war frisch und liebevoll hergerichtet und hat eine kleine aber feine Auswahl für jeden Geschmack. Vielen Dank!!!

Keine Klimaanlage und bei geöffnetem Fenster sehr laut (Strassen). Laute Gäste, rücksichtslose laute Gespräche bis tief in die Nacht unterhalb unseres Fensters. Kein Hotelpersonal in der Nacht.

• Gerd Peter (10/5): Schönes sympathisches Hotel - Das Hotel liegt gut gelegen zur Altstadt. Wenn es nicht zu heiß ist, ist es echt gut und sympathisch. Leider gibt es keine Klimaanlage und bei geöffnetem Fenster stört der Verkehr etwas (die vorbeiführende Straße ist nicht sehr befahren).

Parkplatz in der Parkgarage gegenüber ebenfalls vorhanden. Einzig das Bad war etwas unpraktisch: Dusche rutschig, wenig Platz für Acessoirs und Lampe am Spiegel defekt. Aber das waren kleinigkeiten, die nicht ins Gewicht fielen.

• Peter (10/5): Een aangename reisonderbreking bij Luis - Vaak heeft een kamer van een B&B of een hotelkamer iets steriels en ook lijken ze op elkaar. Dát zul je bij Hoet Luis niet meemaken; elke kamer heeft een eigen karakter. Dat komt door het gebruik van vintage meubelen gecombineerd met hoogwaarde voorzieningen. Ook de donkere accenten in het kleurgebruik geven de ruimten van Luis warmte. Vriendelijke bediening en prima ontbijt.

We were concerned a bit when we realized there was no ac, once we got there and opened the windows and turned on the fans they provided we were just fine. The room was so darned cute! Decorations were amazing, and just enough. Bathrooms are newly remodel and super! Staff was super nice and breakfast buffet was worth the €10. About a 12 minute walk to the cathedral and shopping area. I can't say enough good things about this hotel and our stay in Regensburg, what a beautiful small quaint charming hotel and city.
• Phil (8/5): Handy for the Old Town - We stayed in one of the apartments in a building opposite the main hotel. It has everything you would need for a short stay. Big enough- comfortable beds, clean. All the sights are within a comfortable walk If you have limited mobility worth knowing that although lifts serve the building the apartments are in, you will have a short flight of stairs to negotiate to get to your rooms Hotel staff are helpful and friendly. We had the breakfast- continental style and lots of it
• Karl Heinz (8/5): Friendly Staff - Large but Noisy Room - The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Only a 10 or so minute walk from hotel to the beautiful older part of Regensburg. Unfortunately our room, which was located in the building across the street was extremely noisy due to traffic for much of the night. Since there was no air conditioning our choice was either to feel somewhat comfortable with cars driving by all night, being too hot. Room was large. Parking, which was also across the street from the hotel was a bit of a hassle - but is workable.

They did not open to allow fresh air and the room became quite warm even though it was chilly outside. Convenient paid parking on site and easy walk to the old town.

• Carlene (10/5): Nice place!! - Comfortable little hotel. We walked from train station- 15-20 minutes- you will need a map to find it- on busy street. Room was nice, not air conditioned- couldnt leave open window since on first floor by parking lot (and no screen). Nice welcoming staff, clean comfortable room. Nice breakfast area with good spread of food items (not hot items except make-your-own waffle). Cost 10 Euros extra but worth it for convenience and price. I would definitely stay here again, though would request room on second floor.
• Jon (10/5): Hip and cool hotel close to the old town - The Hotel Luis is a relatively new hotel. Although it should be referd to as a Bed and Breakfast. The place have a lot of room for parking (some are in a 24 hour accessable parking garage). The staff is a very friendly gang of 20ies who obviously cares about the premise and offers great personal service. The rooms are far from a chain-hotel design, but offers nice vintage decorations and comfortable beds. WiFi is free and pretty good, and they also have books if you feel like relaxing in the lobby area with a drink in the evening. The hotel breakfast is prepared by the chef a few hours before being served and offers a wide selection of cuts as well as a self-serve waffle iron. Despite the lack of air-condition or fan I will highly reccomend this hotel to couples and people travelling for business. I hope the hotel will be operating for many years to come.
• Steinar (10/5): Oasis! Fantastic hotel. - We are on a european road-trip and needed to spend one night in this town. What a nice town and what a nice hotel. Rooms are big, comfy and clean. Staff was great. No AC made it a tad warm and bed was a little hard but slept well.

• Andrew (8/5): Unusual hotel with a differemce - Having booked a twin room this wasn't ready and we had to do some adjustments to the beds including asking for another sheet. The staff member on reception couldn't have been more helpful over this relatively minor issue. I would describe the hotel as quirky. Decor included a trunk in the room and the bar area where breakfast is served is lined with old wooden tables and chairs. The room itself has old unrefurbished plaster on the walls but this just adds to the quirkiness. Definitely a hotel with a difference and I liked it. Breakfast excellent though not served before 8am.

• muzaffer (8/5): Business trip - Hotel was clean and well presented, however check in was not so great, the receptionist was on the phone when we arrived and continued talking for 15 minutes before serving us. checkig in was a slow process, Then forgot to charge me for breakfast and repeated the process....
• Matthew (8/5): Nice hotel - Our room was the largest hotel room we've ever stayed in - a two bedroom apartment essentially. The room was very well-decorated and you can tell someone put a lot of time in it. It could be photographed for a magazine. Despite all that, there are some final touches that could help turn all that beauty into more comfort -- some towel hooks, make sure room is heated before someone arrives, working TV. This place is about a 5-10 minute walk from the train station, and about a 5-10 minute walk from the edge of the old town. The guy who checked us in spent a lot of time telling us about the sites (especially the Christmas markets we'd asked about), and he led us to a great itinerary. We would never have figured out everything he told us on our own and that alone was worth the price of admission. I'd stay here again, but I think those small touches could add a lot to the hotel.
