According to a local taxi driver, the hotel is located on one of the worst streets in Barcelona, where there are many homeless people and drug addicts, so it is not safe to walk there in the evening. The next day was my birthday and my friend’s birthday. We hoped for at least a small compliment from the hotel, but the staff simply said that they do not provide anything like that. This was very disappointing. What upset us the most was that when we booked the hotel through Booking, it was stated that an airport taxi transfer was included. However, on the day of our arrival the hotel informed us that there would be no taxi. We also had to pay the tourist tax twice. In addition, there were problems with the water. We were very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel.

As well as the kindness of the person at the reception, who always made an effort to give us helpful information. What I didn’t really like… Unfortunately, you can’t change the kind of crowd in the neighborhood. In the evening, the surroundings didn’t feel very safe.

• NATAN MATAN (5/5): - המיקום של המלון טוב – במרכז העיר, קרוב למקומות עיקריים. החדרים סבירים, השירות בסדר, ומתאים ללינה קצרה. הלילה כאן הרגיש לא נעים בכלל – למרות שמדובר במרכז העיר, בלילה המקום מרגיש חשוך ומעט לא בטוח. האזור מיושב ברובו על ידי מוסלמים, ויש בו גם סביבה מעט “עבריינית” – משהו שכדאי לקחת בחשבון. בהחלט לא מקום לישון לבד, ובמיוחד אם את בחורה, כדאי להיות זהירים. השירות בקבלה היה די קר ואדיש, לא קיבלנו הרבה עזרה. הדבר היחיד החיובי הוא שהיינו שם רק לילה אחד – למזלנו. לדעתי, דירוג של שלוש כוכבים קצת מבלבל… החוויה לא ממש תואמת את הציפיות

Also it said it had a bath and a flat screen tv but there was no bath, it’s a shower base with raised sides and the flat screen tv was the size of an iPad.

• Luciano Andrea (5/5): Carino, ma la posizione dell’hotel che ci ha costretto a spendere più di quanto previsto per utilizzare taxi ed uber, lo - La vicinanza alla Rambla ed alla metro pur trovandosi in un vicoletto molto malsano Struttura con arredi e sanitari “anni 80/90”, materasso e cuscini poco comodi, letto “matrimoniale” meno da una piazza e mezza. La posizione, anche se vicina alla Rambla ed alla metropolitana, lascia a desiderare in orario serale/notturno, poiché situato in un vicolo della Rambla molto buio, pieno di facce poco raccomandabili, che ci hanno costretto a tornare ogni sera in taxi. Gli infissi completamente non insonorizzati il che ci faceva sentire tutte le liti, le urla e i rumori che provenivano dalla strada. Altra nota dolente, non vi sono prese di corrente vicino al letto e il riscaldamento non funzionava.

• Beatriz (7/5): Recomendo - O hotel é igual às imagens, está muito bem localizado, tem tudo o que é necessário (secador, shampo, gel de banho, mini frigorífico, chaleira, chás, etc). A casa de banho estava sempre quente e a água para além de também estar sempre quente tinha muita pressão. O quarto era simples mas estava sempre limpo e sempre quente. Durante a noite não se ouvia barulho do exterior. A única coisa que não gostamos foi o facto do hotel se situar numa rua que a meu ver não é muito seguro principalmente à noite.

The only issue we experienced was that the air conditioning was not turned on, and the room was quite cold, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. Aside from this, everything else was great, and the hotel is definitely worth considering.
