- Sujiro (10/5): - A 2 pas du quartier européen, bien équipé avec ce qu'il faut pour se préparer ses repas. Certains éléments de mobilier auraient besoin d'être rafraîchis. Quelques serviettes supplémentaires ne seraient pas superflues.
- Nabil (4/5): - Arrived at 11 pm and the building entrance was too dark. ended up using my phone light to walk in and navigate my way through 3 doors. Elevator was not working, called the service number with no answer. Couldn't find the lift instructions in the email. I climbed the stairs to the 4th floor with my luggage. The flush handle was broken in the bathroom! Minimalist bedroom, bed was clean and comfortable tho. No complimentary water. Good space and fully equipped kitchen but it didn't feel comfortable. I don't recommend it and won't book it again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Acceptable apartment, awful management - The apartment was booked and sold as having a double bed and a double sofa bed. When made sure to add in a request for bedding in the booking information. When we arrived there was no bedding for the sofa bed, on calling the help line they couldn't help and said to message a Whatsapp group, no reply from that for over 24 hours, tried emailing and calling repeatedly. After 24 hours we finally got a response saying they wouldn't provide bedding for the sofa bed unless an additional 25 euros was paid. Even though it was advertised. After a long call with hotels.com they agreeded the advert was misleading and tried to fix it but the SmartFlats company were being exceptionally stubborn and refusing to help at all. The apartment was reasonable but having to spend 5 nights on a bed with no sheets as they refused to supply was exceptionally annoying given the significant cost of the apartment. Overall AVOID this company and find somewhere else as they wont help at all.
- Tom (8/5): - The flat was comfortable and clean and located just down the street from the European Commission. There were some nice neighborhood restaurants nearby. It was about a 20 min walk to the Gran Place. The flat was very much a corporate apartment with a corporate feel - no personal or warm touches. Comfortable and fine for our family.

- Francis (6/5): Left outside in the cold. - I arrived at the apartment only to find out that I couldn’t enter the block because they forgot to send me the code to the main door. Was left outside in the cold for about an hour until the problem was sorted out. The second lady I talked to on the phone was very helpful but the first representative was completely lost as to what should done.
- Carina (10/5): Spacious and modern flat - Spacious flat in an excellent localtion near EU quarters. Bus and metro stations nearby. The flat is modern and well equipped. Very spacious. A small grocery shop nearby and a couple of small restaurants around the block. One thing to think abt is that there is no front desk there so it’s not possible to leave any bagage after check out time there. Only at their office in the center. Would stay there again.

When I contacted the owner, they responded promptly but said they will send an engineer the next day ... when I would be gone! This was not helpful as I booked the property for 24 hours. I have complained but instead they told me to book again with them so that I can get a discount! I found this rude and unprofessional.
- Peter (8/5): Nice apartments close to EU institutions - Very nice apartments in a rather normal house, close to EU institutions, maybe the signage outside could be better. First I was little nervous about no reception in the building, but the distribution of access code and wi-fi password via e-mail worked well. Huge rooms and very clean and well furnished. The only disadvantage is there is no lift inside, but I knew that in advance (it may be a problem with heavy luggage however). No eating options inside. Not the cheapest accommodation, but that is unfortunately a rule in Brussels, so overall I can only recommend it. It is convenient especially for a longer stay, but good also for 1 nights or so.
- ROBERT (6/5): BERLAYMONT 201 - The Photos look great,but NOT ONE PHOTO,OR DESCRIPTION OF THE ROOM,tells you that you have to GO DOWN 16 steps to get to the bedrooms.The stairs have no handrails,so its fun taking your 23 kg cases down with nothing to hold on to.Free Wi Fi ran at 1-2 mbps,so don't expect to watch anything.Full size fridge,but the freezer was only big enough to put 8 cans of coke in.Free Toiletries ...consisted of ,squeeze bottles that you can wash your hands,hair and body with,it says that on the bottles ! One bathroom had a gap of 42 cm (17") to squeeze through to get to the shower. No Air Con,typical for Europe,but no fans of any kind,not even in the bathrooms. We happened to be there in a heatwave, 30- 33 c,the bedrooms were on the ground floor,if we opened the windows which had no insect screens on,we watched the pedestrians walk past.So you couldn't leave them open,as you would be upstairs and anyone could easily have got into the room. Housekeeping,once per stay,we were there 5 nights,never saw anyone. They say you have express check in and out,and multilingual staff,which mystified me as there is no reception,and you don't have a key, so you just close the door as you leave.The location is great,5 min walk,to some Pubs,Restaurants,Train.I'm not saying don't stay there,I'm just pointing out the things that aren't quite correct
- Anthony (8/5): Smartflats Design - Berlaymont - Good sized apartment ideally located for the European Council buildings. Carrefour Express supermarket 1 minute away for the essentials. A quiet area at night, but the auto-slamming front doors of neighbouring flats was a little annoying. Huge TV and excellent Wi-Fi. No complaints.
- Gatsby (8/5): Great Property - We had an excellent stay. Staff on phone was great and responsive (they are not on property, access to the building and apartments is by access code), apartment was clean and well furnished. This property is great for kids as it is directly across the street from a lovely playground, it is also well located to the EU Commission, grocery stores, and a couple of neighborhood restaurants. The kitchen was well appointed and the apartment was comfortable. Parking was readily found on the street directly in front and it appeared well connected to the city's public transportation network. A very comfortable stay.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location near the EU institutions - This was a really roomy and beautiful flat with a nice kitchen and a comfy bed. The bathroom was great. The location was good as I had meetings in the nearby area. The only downside was the fact that the corridors leading to the flat were rather dark and it was a bit difficult to find the light switch.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Smartflats Schuman 201 - Booking was very easy and the only difficulties I had was in not receiving the access codes for the apartment two days prior to my arrival as was stated in all their correspondence. I had to phone them and they were most helpful when I did. The apartment itself was very modern and comfortable.
