Dazu darf auf den balkonen geraucht werden und alle zimmer stinken wie eine raucherstube

Shared bathroom was clean and one of the best showers with hot water and pressure. Good laundry service. The room was quite hot. Simple fan would bring so much more comfort. Also lot of noise from the street and restaurants nearby
• Haley (1/5): Worst Hostal in Medellín. - Upon arrival, the fridge was disgusting and the kitchen overrun by staff who left it dirty despite having a large staff kitchen. There was no soap in the shared washroom upstairs, but they still had covid signs encouraging hand washing. The rooms were the smallest, hottest and by far the most uncomfortable that we've seen of the 4 hostels we've stayed at in Medellin. The bed sagged in the middle and the springs could be felt in the mattress. There was very little shared space to sit and wherever there was space, the 4-5 staff members were always taking up all the tables. The staff slept sloppily on the bench in the eating area and were knocking on our door at 10pm waking us up for no reason and then complaining when we made breakfast before the gym at 6am. I highly recommend you find somewhere else to stay during your time in Medellin. There are many beautiful accommodations with friendly, welcoming staff in this same area where you won't be waiting for the staff to prepare their food before you have the space to prepare your own.

• Mehrunnisha (6/5): Pleasant - Staff on desk 24/7. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, I cannot fault them. Very good location. I only stayed here for 1 night when there was no space at Viajero. It is very basic. There was no door on my dorm room, so you could walk into the room straight off the street. It was very loud at night. There was no travel vibe. No privacy curtain on the long side of the beds only at the bottom. The mattress was very uncomfortable it was so thin you sank into it and could feel the slats below.
• Luke (8/5): Great location and nice atmosphere - We enjoyed our time here, namely because it’s in a great location and has a nice atmosphere with bar downstairs (to note not a late night bar!). The room was good with enough space for us and private bathroom which mostly had hot water. We had a fan in the room and were able to leave our luggage on two occasions. It wasn’t incredibly clean, but no major problems. Occasionally could be noisy on the street but fine with earplugs.
• Augusto (3/5): Don’t stay here 🫠 - Staff were nice and the only highlight of this stay One of the most uncomfortable hostels I’ve stayed at, the beds are really hot as they have a plastic protector and are overall uncomfortable. The showers were a hit or miss with the hot water. To make my stay even less bearable the Wi-Fi didn’t reach my room whatsoever. Cleanliness was spotty, I found a roach in my locker. The property could use with some improvements, even down to small fixes like shower doors not closing properly.
• Emma (6/5): nice hostel to explore Medellin - nice small hostel in El poblado - a bit outside the hectic bar/club streets. it’s a nice neighbourhood rooms are pretty simple, and shared bathroom not so clean. The Hostel is very busy, especially on Friday and Saturday nights
• Brown (5/5): for one night, this place is fine. the staff are nice and the location is great but only one of the toilets had a lock, - i liked the location and the staff the dorm room’s door is always open so it is noisy from the restaurant and people coming in and out. it was noisy in the hostel until past 1am and then staff were up and working from 8am, which is fine but the door issue meant it was hard to sleep. also only 1/4 toilet doors had a lock and they weren’t very clean
• Tilda (3/5): Do not recommend - The staff was really nice and helpful One of the dirtiest hostels I’ve stayed in. Only one toilet had a door that could be closed. The only shower without big holes in the door had lost the knob to warm water. Hair and bugs in the bed and on the floor. Lets not talk about the kitchen.
• Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing - It seemed to be in a good location. The room we booked didn't lock, meaning we cut our time short there. There was only one toilet and shower on the floor we stayed that wasn't super clean. It is on a very busy street so the noise at night is something to consider. It depends what you're after, but for a slightly higher price there were other accomodation options that offered much more.

• Lucas (4/5): Too noisy - Not bad hostel but very noisy, you can hear the party hostel nearby every night in the dorm until midnight or more. There were a dog in the hostel, from the staff i think, and he was barking on night almost every night they just left him barking, impossible to sleep without earplugs. The staffs were pretty loud too. The location is pretty good but it's too noisy this is the problem

We enjoyed playing chess with a bottle of vino next door. Close to the metro station and lots of Spanish schools around. The room was comfortable and clean. Good value for money in poblado. We would stay here again. The shower was nice but could be a bit hotter.

Problems with my door lock..Second day couldn't get the key to open my door. No towel but not big deal and there is only one bathroom upstairs for half dozen or so rooms. Also could be kept cleaner with so many people using it.

• Jennifer (8/5): Fantastic for the price and friendly! - One of my favorite hostels in El Poblado! You can get a single here for a super good price, the staff is super fun and friendly and they serve meals insanely cheap… woke up to fresh coffee and bfast every morning. I wish there was another bathroom upstairs, but not too much of an issue.
• Sashanna (8/5): Very good - Nice location next to a super fun bookstore where you can have a beer and play chess or 'Zappo' The staff is super friendly and helpful. The shower was the best shower I had in colombia and the bed was also very nice! I was the first time in a long time that I slept in a hostel and it was so noisy, ha ha. We could hear our neighbour having a good time with a guy she picked up.... Good for her! But bit weird for us.... Although I had worse one in a dorm in a bunk bed.... So maybe we are just not the kind of person anymore that can appreciate the perks of staying in a hostel... My advice, bring earplugs. Or even better they should sell them at the desk of the hotel! :0)
