His burger was one of the juiciest and tastiest I've ever had. The restaurant has a lot of other choices too. I highly recommend this place.

Although the wifi was a bit poor, as most Canadian countryside bad infrastructure, we spent a wonderful night and a warm family-like breakfast. La literie est très confortable , et la chambre avec une déco à l’ancienne superbe qui me rappelle mon enfance ! La vue dehors du terrain est tellement magnifique et la terrasse si cosy ! Le petit déjeuner inclus est super copieux ! J’ai réservé pour une nuit pour couper un long trajet en deux et je vais assurément y revenir à chaque séjour sur la côte nord !

Je n’ai pas aimé le repas du soir ( spaghettis végétariens, pas de pain à l’ail seulement un demie tranche de pain toastée sans beurre)et le prix excessif attaché à ce repas des plus basique. Deux spaghettis et deux cafés, 51,74$

• Christopher (6/5): Tired hotel with excellent breakfast. - We could not check in until after 4pm as up to this time there was nobody on site. Room was clean but very tired. A chair was badly broken and needed repair. Bathroom tiles were cracked and the bed was saggy. No microwave in bedroom but we were able to use the one in the kitchen. Breakfast was excellent with great service.

Il y a peu de choses à proximité pour prendre le repas du soir sans aller à Baie-Saint-Paul ou La Malbaie. Accueil sympathique et très bons petits-déjeuners. Nous recommandons.
• Franck (8/5): Road trip Quebec - Passage à Charlevoix lors d'un road trip Québécois. Hotel authentique comme le porte son nom. Très bon accueil mais pas de restauration le dimanche et lundi soir. Il faut faire une quinzaine de km pour trouver un restaurant à la baie saint Paul. Petit déjeuner complet Pas de climatisation, un ventilateur et route très passante à proximité.

• Shawna (10/5): One of Quebec's best kept secrets - Charming country inn with beautiful views. The friendly owner speaks perfect English and was very accommodating. The included breakfast was delicious and had lovely local touches. Ate dinner at the property one night as well. The menu was small but filled with delicious comfort foods that hit the spot after a long day on the road. The small restaurant also has a bar if you are wanting to sip on a glass of wine on the patio to enjoy the stunning view. Wood fireplace in the room and lovely soaker tub. Will be returning and recommending it to friends.

• Francine (6/5): Good for one night - The staff was friendly but they are noisy until late at night and early in the morning. The room was impaccably clean. We did not eat there as we were visiting family in the area. It is very well known for their great food in the area per locals. When we checked in they could not find our reservation and it took a good 15 minutes even after showing them our printed reservation. They finally went online and find it, they assigned us a room but made us change due to the category we had reserved the only difference was going from a king bed to a queen size one. Any other hotel would have left us there as an apology for making us wait so long at check in. I felt that they didn't care that we had just had a very ling drive and they had asked where we came from. There are many other facilities in the area so when we go there again we will try somewhere else.

Bring kindling to start the fire.Free fire wood available near the fire pit. Good location. Bed mattress was a bit hard. Everything was clean and in good condition. Highly recommended, will be back.

Dining area is not very big but very cozy. Love our stay! Highly recommend! Just one drawback, the kitchen exhaust pipe is next to our room, our room smelled like French fries every time we open the balcony door.
• Adrienne (10/5): Charming, with the best breakfast around! - This is a delightful place to stay! The rooms are very pretty and comfortable, and the inn is well-situated, right in the middle of everything. It also happens to be right across the street from a killer chocolaterie and ice cream shop. Best of all, the staff are wonderful! Matthew and Joanne looked after me while I was there, and were warm, kind and also very patient with my pitiful attempts at speaking French! I feel very fortunate to have found this place. Please check out my photo of the view from the auberge's back garden -- it's simply beautiful, another added bonus!
• Smash (10/5): Local charm and excellent view will win your heart - A sweet father and son team (Richard and Matthew) will charm you with their gentle warmth and their total dedication to making you completely comfortable. They have a wonderful little resto and a small bar with a local flavour. The perfunctory nature of the typical hotel experience is left far behind, as they tailor themselves and their efforts to your needs. We needed to be ready for skiing every morning, and they started our day brilliantly with a delicious and nearly artistic breakfast. The view from our room of Isle aux Coudres is simply breathtaking. We had a fireplace, and they have a reading room and two sitting rooms for their resto, each with its own fireplace. I cannot overstate the joy of not having to drive anywhere for a wonderful meal after a day of skiing. Excellent food at a reasonable price, they'll throw a log on the fire when you arrive and make you more comfortable than you'll remember ever being. After staying with them, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when next we plan to ski at Le Massif.
