Guest Reviews
- jenny (10/5): - Very cute place! Beds were comfortable, and the backyard has a nice place to sit, with gazebo and firepit.
- Shawn (10/5): - Amazing stay in a town I love.
- Sherri (10/5): - Great place to stay if you want walkable to shops and restaurants! Cedarburg is such a cute little city. Clean, friendly and beautiful.
- Paul M (10/5): Historic Home in a Fabulous Location - We really enjoyed our 3-night stay at Lily Pad. You absolutely cannot beat the location in downtown Cedarburg, with its charming shops, historic sites and good restaurants. There was even a good coffee & breakfast shop next door. It is a charming historic home, but this also means it has its own character and quirks. That’s to be expected, but we much prefer this, over a vanilla hotel chain. Our room was equipped well, and it’s obvious that much thought was put into providing everything a guest might need. Check-in was a breeze, and the owner is friendly and accessible, when needed. And, OH THE GARDEN! It’s fabulous, and we sat under the covered patio daily, to have a drink, cool off and admire this well-cared-for gem.
- Christa (10/5): - Beautiful place
- Felicia (10/5): - Lily’s Boerners Pad was a beautiful and quaint inn. My husband absolutely loved our stay there and definitely plan to book to stay again when we are Cedarburg again.
- Stacey (10/5): - Enjoyed staying in downtown Cedarburg! The Inn was a great place to stay.
- Brian (10/5): - This is the place to stay in the AMAZING town of Cedarburg. It is right on Washington St which has dozens of amazing restaurants, gift shops and multiple wineries. The tub in the Depot and Sheboygan rooms are HUGE and the room is clean with a nice bed and soft linens. The owner is super helpful and accommodating with nice extras in the room. The yard is BEAUTIFUL with a patio and gas fire pit. Can’t wait to come back this summer! Make sure to get a margarita flight at Lime Cantina across the street- you won’t be sorry!
- Jamie (8/5): - I really liked the location as it was right where all the small town action was. Really close to shops, restaurants, wineries etc.
The Lilly Pad itself was quite comfortable and clean. It is a very old building but that is the fun part!
The room was a great size and included the amenities I care about such as fridge, coffee, comfy bed. The only complaint I have is the bathroom and shower are pretty tiny, but again that’s part of the older building charm. I would definitely stay again.
- Michael (8/5): Location couldn’t be better! - The best thing is the location. which is perfect for exploring the town and steps away from great restaurants, we had the upstairs room which was quaint, but if you’re tall you may not love the slanted ceilings when sitting up in bed.
- Marilee (10/5): - We thourougly enjoyed our weekend away at the Lilly Pad. We love Cedarburg, the little shops and restaurants all were within walking distance of the Lilly Pad. There is a new Asian restaurant right next store that was fantastic. The room was very quaint and roomy and the folks at the Lily Pad very attentive. We had a welcome basket full of snacks and water when we arrived. There was a little fridge and microwave to store and cook leftovers which was really nice. And the back yard area has two gazebo sitting areas which also was very quaint and relaxing. We will definitely stay again.
- Linda (8/5): - Beautiful property- back gardens were lovely to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Great location to all of the shops and restaurants.
- ann (8/5): comfy In Cedarburg - we have stayed there once before: great location, quiet, comfy but the a/c was on too high and we had no control
- Nancy (10/5): - The Lily Pad Guesthouse had a very charming backyard & patio for guests to relax. The room itself was nicely decorated & comfortable. It is conveniently located in the town & close to stores. Parking was easy also. There is a nice breakfast & lunch restaurant right down the street which was excellent.
- Miriam (10/5): - This property was small but very quaint. The large tub with jets provided added relaxation. Cedarburg is a town with wineries, a variety of restaurants and unique shops. There are also parks, churches, and other services in the vicinity. Quite lovely.
- Chrystal (8/5): - Very cute....bottom suite was a bit noisy but we would stay again....prefer a top room based on beds and noise levels.
- Paige (10/5): 10/10! - Denise (Innkeeper) was exceptional and the location was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better and more relaxing stay. We will absolutely be back!
- Shawn (8/5): - Very convenient location and the Sheboygan room was perfect for a 2 night stay. This is a very small home with only 3 rooms available so it was very quiet as well. Nice location right in the heart of Cedarburg.
- Juan (10/5): - Excellent
- Barry (10/5): - Great room and property.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Beautiful property! The garden's and common areas are absolutely gorgeous.
- Marcia (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay, room was clean and had everything we needed. Fantastic location the main street for shops and dining. The backyard was perfect for a glass of wine or coffee, beautiful garden and well taken care of. Hubby liked the added touch of a mini flashlight. Communication was great and very quick to reply when I had a dumb question regarding the remote. Highly recommend!!
- Carol (10/5): - A beautiful cozy place to stay. Very clean, comfortable bed, beautiful yard out back. The only dislike would be the squeaky door as it did stick as you entered and left the room. Still give them 5 stars and would definitely stay there again.
- Cassie (8/5): - Cute, small area. Perfect for two people. In the downtown area, easy walking to most places! Great backyard for relaxing.
- Jill (10/5): - The property is in the cute downtown area - lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The room had nice touches - fridge, micro, Keurig, soaking tub in front of the TV (yes, really), quick breakfast items, some snacks. My one suggestion is to remove the trunk at the bottom of the bed - there is a lot of furniture in room 3 and it felt a bit crowded.
- Carol (10/5): - Beautiful garden back.
- Lisa (10/5): - Beautiful gardens and Denise is very gracious and helpful.
- William (10/5): Lovely - Wonderful, quaint B&B with privacy. My room was very nice and had all the amenities I wanted, including private bathroom and shower and whirlpool tub. The building is charming and the location is ideal. Even though the building is on the main drag of Cedarburg, the room was very quiet. The other guests I met were very nice. The owner is super nice and helpful. I love the historic building. I would definitely stay again if there’s availability.
- Jason (10/5): - Great location!
- Dena (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay in the "Sheboygan Room". The house is conveniently located right on the main shopping/dining street in Cedarburg. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. Bed was comfy and we were worried about being on the main street but traffic noise was not a problem. We slept soundly with no issues. Backyard is lovely with two gazebos and amazing plants/flowers. We sat outside in the evening and played cards. Also ate dinner at a close-by Asian restaurant and it was delicious! Would gladly return on our next trip to Cedarburg, WI.
- Helga (10/5): - Lovely garden setting and charming comfortable room.
- Theresa (10/5): - Beautiful historical house
- RYAN (10/5): - Our room was beautiful. It had everything we needed and more. Located in the midst of walking distance to everything. We will definitely stay here again!
- Rachel (10/5): excellent - Exceptionally clean and well-kept. A cozy place to stay.
- Deborah (8/5): Charming and welcoming - I was in town on business and decided to add the overnight for some relaxation. The security felt so-so when I checked in and found the room door unlocked. Simple keys and deadbolts, and I hope there's also a camera somewhere :-). The bath and fireplace were wonderful. The bedding is luxurious, although the frame and mattress felt well-worn, as did the recliner. Noticed lots of extension cords. There was HVAC filtration running all night, which I tried to tune out with a meditation app. Very little street noise even though the sidewalk is inches away. Many nice touches like a Keurig, seasonal decor, breakfast supplies in the room, wine glasses and comfortable lighting. There is a rear sitting garden which must be very pretty in spring/summer. I would love to visit again.
- Loretta (10/5): - Although there was no front desk, the property communicated with us and gave us excellent directions on how to gain access to our room; very easy and convenient!! The room was clean and comfortable. Everything was included from shampoo and conditioner to bottle opener and wine glasses. We especially enjoyed the coffee bar. The charming room decor made us feel like we were home.
- Jessica (10/5): Cute Cedarburg inn - The room was clean and perfectly located.
- Lori Beth (10/5): - Loved staying here. Very walkable location the room was very comfortable and clean. Will definitely stay here again!
- Erin (10/5): - The Lilly Pad is extremely quaint, private, and comfortable. The back yard is lovely with gazebo & gas fireplace for use. I'll definitely go back!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The place is truly charming, back yard spectacular, and very attentive to our needs!
- Lori (10/5): - Lovely outdoor area
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location! Easy walk to everything downtown. Could use a full length mirror for the ladies! Was a bit hard to use the one in the lavatory as it was a bit short for a taller person. All in all a great little place for a weekend escape!
- Hgyur (10/5): Great place - Very clean and comfortable.
- Larry (8/5): A quaint and peaceful stay - Overall, our stay was nice. The location is great as it's on the main street, so everything is close by within walking distance. The room was quaint and gave us a nice place to retreat to and relax in the evenings. The one down side was the coffee maker wasn't working, so evening coffee wasn't an option, and the shower curtain was to small which allowed water to go all over the bathroom floor. Other then that, which is probably being a little picky, the stay was great. Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nice. I would definitely consider returning here again if we come back to the area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved everything about this place. It was super charming.
- Paul (10/5): - Property was set up with all we needed.
Loved how cozy it felt.
Door locks need to be updated, it was difficult sometimes to turn keys.
Also would be nice to have a hand held shower head because of it being a smaller shower size.
Every thing else was fine though.
- Valerie (8/5): Lovely historic home in Cedarburg - This is a lovely historic house. The room was clean and they had lots if amenities. The jets on the tub didn't work and the hot water ran out, but it was fine. The locks were tricky and should be replaced. Overall i would rate it 4 out of 5.
- NV (10/5): - Beautiful cozy little house. Gardens spectacular!
- David (10/5): You must give it a try!!! - It was an amazing stay for the two days we were here at the Lilly Pad. Such a cute and adorable place to stay with the amazing village attractions just a few blocks either side of us.
- JoeM (10/5): - Great room in a unique, historical building.Wonderful staff and friendly service.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location was great, housekeeper was great and knew all the little spots to check out.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We just stayed one night and Denise the owner was right there to give us the keys early after they cleaned it! She is so nice and adorable! Everything was so cute! After adventuring the day in cedarburg we came back to relax on her beautiful patio. Thank you Denise🍷
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property is very historic and the listing is a very accurate reflection of the property. The innkeeper is very helpful and was very accommodating with respect to our dog and is very accessible for requests and needs. Be forewarned that although the Expedia listing does not make this clear, pets are not allowed in all the rooms so I would call if you have a pet. The garden is a very pleasant place to spend some time relaxing or eating. The location could not be more convenient for exploring historic Cedarburg. My only recommendation for improvement would be that perhaps the owner could partner somehow with the amazing coffee and bakery shops right in town to include some of their offerings as part of their breakfast rather than the packaged goods in order to support each other in their businesses and make for a more enjoyable option. There was however plenty of breakfast food and snacks made available to the guests.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Super charming and clean! Denise is fun to talk with and it’s right downtown in historic Cedarburg!
- M (10/5): - Adorable place to stay. Host was very thoughtful! Would love to stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The Lily Pad was so charming and a great place to stay. The owners were very accommodating around check in and check out. Since this room is on the top floor, it got very hot at night with the furnace on and we couldn’t find anyway to control the heat (prosthetics downstairs rooms have control). The whirlpool tub is nice, but the jets are really loud. Overall, Would recommend!
