- Collette (10/5): Perfect stay! - The staff were very friendly and helpful, from printing up some tickets, providing local information and so on. The place is very clean, the afternoon tea with food was fantastic and I loved the pool. The only suggestion I’d make is to find a way to make the ladders to get out of the pool less slippery. Otherwise everything was perfect! Ladder mentioned above.

- Maria (9/5): Lovely staff, great location plus bonus complimentary afternoon tea yummy! 😄 - KL Journal staff were friendly and helpful especially with needing help with transfer to airport leaving early and staff arranged for early take away breakfast which I really appreciated, doorman is really lovely fellow and kitchen staff were excellent in taking care of staff for breakfast and afternoon tea which was a really great bonus as most hotels don't provide afternoon tea free - the only drawback is location but once all the construction works has been completed around area I believe it would improve location. Thanks for lovely stay and wish hotel and staff best of luck in future. 😄

J’ ai reserve cet hôtel car il y avait beaucoup d’avis positif, la question est la suivante , soit les gens qui donne leurs avis sont très gentils ou ils n’ont jamais voyage. Lorsque que je suis arrivée, la chambre était sale, le ménage est fait partiellement, j ai trouvé des cheveux , de la poussière et un bout de papier, et si vous vous arrêtez sur les détails, franchement vous partez. Malheureusement j’avais réservé pour 3 jours. Concernant le petit déjeuner pareil, quand je lis « beaucoup de choix » je comprends pas , presque rien , je suis pas morte de faim, mais ce n est pas un hôtel 5 étoiles. La salle de gym vous fera mourir de rire, un tapis , un vélos , 5 poids et je vous devais passer par des chemins de traverse pour la trouver. J ai prolongé mon séjour à Kuala Lumpur, j ai changé d’hôtel.

- Michele (8/5): - Although the area the hotel is in feels a bit gritty, it is right in bukit bintang...close to everything! The beds were comfortable. They even switched out our pillows when we said they were too firm. The afternoon tea is a nice touch...kind of the same food every day but what the heck...it's free. Found out too late to use it but they have a laundry set up behind their building. Almost everyone was super nice and accommodating. We had a deluxe king room reservation but the gal who checked us in put us in a 3rd floor room overlooking the back of the hotel and it had a queen bed and a single. I also requested a quiet room and she put us in a room with connecting doors where we could easily hear our neighbors. Breakfast was repetitive. I didn't see an option to have eggs cooked to order like many hotels do. They forgot to clean our room one day. When I went downstairs to ask for fresh towels I got the same gal that checked us in. She had someone come by with towels but she never apologized.

- Khan (9/5): Stay at Journel Hotel will be the best choice if you have a plan for holidays in Kuala Lumpur. - Actually, that was my 2nd time stay at Journel Hotel .I am gonna tell that the location of the journey is excellent 👌 the rooms are so nice for the value of the rent money .Breakfast is ok, not bad.the gym is quite small .over all I am satisfied and if I make another holiday trip to Malaysia Kuala Lumpur I will stay again in a journey hotel. The check-in time I don't like it maximum be 2:00pm.

Quarto bem decorado, com uma vista incrível através de uma janela enorme. A equipe, sempre atenciosa, passou todas as informações que precisávamos, inclusive sobre a chegada em Singapura, nosso próximo destino. O café da manhã é uma delicia, bem completo. O Hotel tem um diferencial muito especial, oferece todas as tardes um buffet (incluído na diária) que foi uma grata surpresa.

- Gillian (8/5): Top verblijf op een gunstige ligging - Hotel is centraal gelegen, wij hebben alles te voet kunnen doen. Personeel is vriendelijk, kamers zijn proper en ruim. Geen lawaai van andere kamers of straat. Ontbijt was goed. Tussen 15-17u had je een high tea: was ok als je een versnapering wou. Ze bieden dit gratis aan! Badkamer was een beetje verouderd, voor de rest niets op aan te merken.

- Fariza (9/5): No regrets staying here, will come back again! - I love the hospitality the hotel staff provides the moment I booked the hotel-they check in with me if I have any requests. Upon arriving, we were greeted by friendly hotel staff, particularly Farid and his teammate. They were helpful when we asked for help and directions. Hotel is clean and the best part it is near bukit bintang MRT station..getting around was easily accessible. We heard abit of noises at night perhaps from the bar above at rooftop but still able to sleep

- Trupti (10/5): The Journal Club Hotel was perfect in every way from the location, the staff and catering for veggie - I loved how friendly and welcoming the staff were. There were little things they did which made me feel at home I had a couple of Peanut bars on my bed when I checked in and on a couple of nights there were little hibiscus biscuits left with a note to have a pleasant sleep. The daily 'Hi Tea' was a lovely touch. It was a bonus to have a self service laundry on the lower ground floor, handy to be able to wash and dry my clothes for the rest of my travels. Even though check in was supposed to be at 3pm my room wasn't ready, so I had to wait an extra hour

I always choose good location so that minimum walk is required to go to places for food and malls. This hotel is just minutes walk to train station, malls...very convinient. Breakfast is fine, and they serve afternoon tea as well. Walking distance to major malls and jalan alor for midnight stomach emptiness.

There is a club nearby which plays loud bass-heavy music into the early hours of the morning. Not great if you're a light sleeper.

- Monika (9/5): - Wir waren schon einmal vor zwei Jahren hier. Das Hotel ist super, die Betten sind bequem und der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Es liegt im Herzen von Bukit Bintang. Shoppingcenter, Monorail, Metro, Hop on hop off Bus und die Jalan Alor. Alles ist in wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Gegenüber ist ein indisches Restaurant, dass 24 Stunden geöffnet hat. Dort bekommt man, selbst wenn der Flug Verspätung hatte, spät abends noch etwas leckeres zu Essen. Die Beats von der Bar in der Nähe, stören etwas beim einschlafen. Daher ein Punkt Abzug. Aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts.
- Erin (8/5): Calm and peaceful hotel with great access to busy Bukit Bintang - Excellent location, calm and quiet, nice rooftop pool, nice lobby and common areas, staff were very friendly and professional. Room was well appointed. No P-trap in the bathroom so could get a bit of an unpleasant smell at times.

The in house hi tea from 3-5pm exceed my expectation. Thank you for that We waited 2hrs for our room to be ready. Mind that our toddler is with us and was cranky. We hv to go out to distract her
