The lobby is large with a cozy seating area, library, and rustic timber stairs to 2nd level. Elevator is available. Breakfast was perfect! Our host cooked custom omelets. Breskfast had a variety of options. Our host kept the tables clean and she was very kind. Area felt safe if traveling alone.

The pool is also really nice and the room was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints with this property. The location is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but that worked in our favor since it was just a stop for us on a longer drive.

• Pat (10/5): What a wonderful place to stay - The Front Desk staff were excellent! The breakfast was amazing. A very nice lady asked me if I wanted her to make me an omelette! WOW that was awesome ! Everyone was so friendly, really enjoyed our stay here! Nothing, everything was excellent!

• Tasha (10/5): - Loved the balcony off of our room. It overlooked a pond & open space with wildlife. Captured an amazing sunset.The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was better than I've had at other motels with a large selection. My kids said the pool was warm, but their skin felt chalky afterwards. The chemicals may have been off slightly. Nothing a shower couldn't fix. Highly recommend!

• Troy (10/5): - Life Jackets for Children at the pool! Toys and books in the lobby that can be checked out! Made traveling with young children easy! An actual staff member was working an ommlette bar for breakfast. 5 stars will be the only place we stay when we visit.

A place to crash, not contemplate the meaning of life. Except... the wind. Oh, the **wind**. It doesn't whisper, it *argues* with the building. It howls down the corridors like a pissed-off banshee, rattles the windows in their frames like they owe it money. It’s the kind of wind that carries stories from three counties over – dust, despair, maybe a lost cowboy ballad. And you know what? **You lean into it.** Lying there in the semi-dark, listening to that elemental tantrum outside your flimsy fortress... it’s not an interruption. It’s the *point*. It’s the raw, unfiltered sound of the place. The cheap room becomes a front-row seat to the indifferent, magnificent racket of the world outside. You didn't come here for luxury. You came for a bed. And you got a symphony of atmospheric discontent thrown in for free. It’s not quiet. But it’s honest. And sometimes, that’s enough to make an 'okay' stay feel... weirdly memorable. For a night.

• Scott (9/5): This is a fantastic place to stay in Belle Fourche. Extra clean, great value, and phenomenal staff! - The breakfast was hot and plentiful. Marilyn and the rest of the staff made sure we were taken care of and had plenty to eat. The TV reception could be better. The satellite stations kept freezing up, and there was no way to plug in my laptop to watch Netflix.
