• X6189UNlisab (10/5): An amazing hotel with incredible service! - This was one of the most beautiful resorts that we've ever been to! The mandarin villa was such a stunning room, well worth splurging on. Our butler Saad, couldn't do enough for us, and was always very proactive at suggestions-nothing whatsoever was ever too much trouble-an absolutely lovely man! The food was excellent in all the restaurants, but for us the standout thing was definitely the incredible service!! The staff who were mostly local, could not have been more genuine and thoughtful in all aspects of their service; they were happy to be there and it was obvious. Although everyone was lovely, some standout members of the team for us were-Saad, our butler, Abdellah, Rida, Mohamed and Bernais in the restaurants and Younes on reception. In fact we did not meet one person who wasn't lovely. It was my son's birthday while we were there and the staff made such an effort to make him feel spoilt. While there, my son and I did the Moroccan cookery lesson which I highly recommend. The chefs there were so pleasant and made sure we had a memorable time. The spa was well worth a visit too. One last mention to the goat keeper-the hotel has some pet goats and the gentleman who looks after them was so charming. Visiting the goats was one of our favourite activities.

He even reached out before our arrival, and highlighted our stay with the hospitality he provided. • callym2023 (8/5): Would visit again - We visited January for a day pass to get a feel for the place, see if we like it for a stay as we frequently visit Marrakesh. Hotel, grounds and setting as you would expect very nice and well kept. Heated pool wasn’t up to temperature which was a bit disappointing, however were offered to use the spa all day since the weather wasn’t too great which was a nice touch. Lunch was very nice, could have been a bit better as with the cocktails 7/10. Very serene and hushed setting, good to wind down and fully relax. Would visit again.

The resort is set in a beautifully landscaped, park-like garden with immaculate grounds and spacious pool areas. We stayed in a Pool Villa, which offered great privacy, generous space, and our own pool — a true highlight. The private butler service was outstanding. Excellent restaurants, an amazing breakfast, and above all: incredibly friendly, professional service throughout. A truly dreamy hotel experience — highly recommended. We will definitely return.

• vibrah2 (10/5): MO Marrakech - Superbly Delivers On All Fronts - We always find the MO hotels to be slightly more modern in style versus other hotel groups. MO Marrakech fits that bill perfectly , however, it balances the modern classic design and fittings with some beautiful traditional touches such as the outdoor lounge with real fireplaces . The service is excellent and nothing is too much, the breakfasts are excellent in both quality, flavour and butlers always deliver on time - a real lovely touch are the vegetable farms , goats and beautiful gardens set in large open grounds. It’s incredibly private and a perfect retreat for the family - can highly recommend the two bedroom villa with private pool. Something to bear in mind is that medina central area is circa 20 mins drive away so just bear this mind as hotel taxis will be required when sightseeing. La mamounia and the Royal Mansour (both very traditionally styled) are very good but for us nothing beats the expansive beautiful Villa accommodation that MO Marrakech offer.

• 545hollies (8/5): Great stay but wouldn't return based on the standard of the food - All the staff are great and really friendly and service is faultless. The spa was also exceptional. Very clean with fantastic treatments and products. Everything you need and the ladies tailored everything and did so much to accommodate me when I needed something and made me a tea specifically for my cramps which helped so much. My only point with the staff is that there were often a lot of people around as I think we visited off peak and so sometimes it was overwhelming being greeted and attended to by so many people. However everyone was exceptionally helpful. We were served by Weled at breakfast and Mohammed was our attendant for our stay and was on hand when we needed him and very responsive. The hotel and the grounds were exceptional and we wish we had better weather. We stayed in a private house with a private pool. The rooms were very clean and warm and the housekeeping service was exceptional as were the daily sweets left in our room. The toiletries and towels sheets and interiors really were luxury. My only negatives were the firmness of the bed which was a little too hard for me and the fact that the external doors of the rooms do not lock from the inside so the main door across the courtyard to the house was the only security when sleeping although we did feel safe but it was initially strange for me. My biggest negative was the food. Whilst I enjoyed the drinks and the breakfast buffet, the hot items I received at breakfast were below standard. My first breakfast lacked flavor and authenticity and the poached eggs on our second morning were freezing cold and so the whole meal was overall unpleasant so I filled myself with the buffet. We also had a steak whilst waiting for our transfer and honestly it was quite shocking. Very small and bland with some saute potatoes and again a fridge cold béarnaise sauce. We were offered this as a gesture as we checked out late and whilst getting changed a member of staff came to do a final check of the minibar whilst my partner was half dressed (this was not something we were particularly bothered about but understandably the hotel made a fuss). Had we have paid for this it would have been returned immediately. I was also not impressed with the offerings at Ling Ling and have had much more enjoyable meals in London's China Town. The tea and welcome cocktails were really the only part of the food and drink experience that were exceptional. The rest of the dining does not come close to what I would have expected. Overall our stay was lovely and the accommodation, spa and staff are really fantastic and the best part of the experience. However I wouldn't stay again based on the food alone and also because of this wouldn't recommend. A hot breakfast is the least I would expect at a 5* hotel. Although I had plenty of opportunity to mention it, I really didn't want to come across as difficult and feared sparking an overattentive circus.

The SPA is the best in the world - the massages were incredible and the Hamman was out of this world. The room was the best I have ever stayed in. Cannot fault it at all.
• A7155ATjackm (10/5): Great hotel - Mandarin Oriental Marrakech is, in my opinion, the most beautiful hotel in Marrakech. The entire complex is absolutely impressive, even more so than some of the top luxury hotels in Dubai. The design combines traditional Moroccan architecture with a modern, refined style, and the result is exceptional. The rooms are bright, enormous, and incredibly spacious, with some villas measuring several hundred square meters. The sense of space, privacy, and light is outstanding and makes a huge difference to the overall experience. I have also stayed at Royal Mansour, which is undoubtedly iconic and world-famous. However, Mandarin Oriental clearly wins for me. At Royal Mansour, the rooms have almost no natural daylight, and during the day you have to turn on the lamps because otherwise you can barely see anything. This significantly affects comfort, especially during longer stays. Mandarin Oriental Marrakech sets a benchmark for luxury in the city and stands out not only for its scale and beauty but also for its thoughtful design and livability.

• vod1234 (10/5): Wonderful resort - Truly a top resort. Beautifully designed with views of the stunning snow capped Atlas Mountains through rows of palm and orange trees. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent service from our personal butler/ concierge Samad who was very knowledgeable about local restaurants and places to visit. On site restaurants include the delightful Shirvan which offers top notch Moroccan cuisine and wines. You expect the best when booking with the MO brand and in Marrakesh you get the best.

Our suite was spacious, very comfortable, and beautifully designed. The resort grounds are stunning, the service is flawless, and the atmosphere is peaceful despite being so close to the Medina. The restaurants and spa were excellent, and everything felt calm, refined, and well managed. A perfect place for a relaxing family stay in Marrakech. Also, if you are looking for top quality service, ask for Thugita! No one knows the region better than her.

The on-site restaurants specifically the Moroccan one was very good. They also have good selection of local wines. Concierge was super helpful and on top of the things. The chef was great and packed sandwiches for us for the day trip. Lastly the manager was very receptive to the feedback and took care of all issues promptly.

• Sriramr888 (10/5): This place is like no other - heaven on earth. - This place is like no other - heaven on earth. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. Our villa was brilliant. It was huge with our own pool (not heated and therefore we could not use it as the water was cold), a heated jacuzzi, a living room, bedroom and a large bathroom and a store room. The bed was huge and luxurious. The bathroom had a hand-held shower, a rain shower and the best was a waterfall shower! The in-house service was exemplary. We had a direct contact with our butler via whatsapp. The team were wonderful in responding to our messages within a couple of minutes. Noura, from the service team, was fantastic. She was very pleasant and helped us sort out a small issue in the bill with great professionalism. The breakfast was excellent and Kariba and Malik made us feel at home. We booked a lot of excursions, like a visit to Imlil in the Atlas mountains, desert experience, guided tour of the old city through the concierge. Syeed who helped us, in my opinion, is the best concierge I have ever seen. His choice of places, guides, restaurants to eat were excellent. He was patient and took a genuine interest in our trips. The cars from the hotel were large, clean and spacious. The drivers always had a smile on their face. Dawood, Mohammad and Imad in particular stood out. Dawood in particular gave us a lot of history facts during our drive to the desert. We even had Thomas, the general manager, stop by and have a chat with us as we were about to leave. It was a very touching gesture. To sum it all this is how a hotel should function! We loved every minute of it and will almost certainly return. Thank you Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech, particularly their excellent staff, who made our stay unforgettable.

We were taken for a tour around the facility and visited the spa. The pool needs to be more private There should be curtains installed around the pool for those who need privacy. As a result, I wasn’t able to use the pool. The room service was a bit clumsy, first they forgot the dishes, then the cutlery. The service table was defective, I couldn’t expand the sides to enlarge the table. I hope they work to solve these issues.

It was our first visit to Morocco and even though there are other top hotels we surely made the right decision. We managed to go in all the other places for cafe of dinner and after we returned in our Paradise. First of all here you get a fantastic villa with private pool. The gardens are really endless with white roses and white Bougainvillea everywhere even flowers dropping in your pool. So romantic especially with the fire pit that can be lit up anytime you want. Not to mention about the space and all the amenities - absolute luxury! I have to say that the service is also impeccable. We were greeted at the airport, after we were met by our villa host Noura - so lucky to have her as she is really a very kind and caring person. The breakfast is just perfect, a very good choice of food. Staff in the restaurants are very polite. We were at the Hacienda bar and also Shirvan restaurant - great dinner! Thank you so much! When we come next time in Marrakech we will come again in Mandarin Oriental, no doubt!

He wasn’t just doing his job, he truly cared about making our stay perfect. Any time we needed something or had a question, he was there without hesitation. Ayoub the front desk manager was equally impressive. I’ve never encountered such exceptional service at the front desk. Check in and checkout were flawless, Jawad was also incredible. He remembered my preferences down to the smallest details, even my regular orders and where I liked to sit.

A zona da piscina comum era TOP com boas camas para descansar ao sol, boa piscina e sempre com um welcome drink para refrescar e de vez em quando um “miminho” como por exemplo um gelado, um sumo natural fresco, etc. Os restaurantes do hotel são óptimos, desde o de apoio à piscina, ao asiático Ling Ling e o Shirvan. O hotel no seu todo é uma classe! Nada de relevante. Nos restaurantes do hotel podiam ter um serviço de copos de vinho melhor que iriam elevar a qualidade dos vinhos que se bebe, tem apenas um copo de vinho universal que apesar de ter qualidade não está ao nível dos restaurantes ou da reputação do hotel. Outra nota que o jacuzzi tinha “vida própria”, não consegui que funcionasse mas curiosamente por vezes apercebemo-nos que estava a funcionar sem que fosse sequer ligado. O serviço de transporte do hotel é extremamente caro e desenquadrado do senso comum. Nunca paguei tão caro mesmo em destinos de custo elevado como Nova York ou Suíça.

I must first of all mention the service throughout all areas of the hotel was impeccable. So attentive, sometimes preempting our needs before we even asked. They are there but not overly so. The lifeguard is so attentive. A master with the umbrellas knowing exactly where and how many are needed to create just the right amount of shade! And he has everything, lilo’s, arm bands, rubber rings etc. August is a very hot month 40-44 degrees ( we did not struggle with the heat) The pool area is great as the pool graduated levels design means you can lie in the water and cool off. All inside areas are air conditioned well. All the pool waiters are on top of things and service was never slow. Drinks refilled, ice buckets topped up regularly and towels when required. Lunch served fresh and great choices. The food in the evening in “ling ling” restaurant was so delicious and as experienced Asian food eaters we give it top marks. Shirvan restaurant was also very good food. The villas are just beautiful with a very large private pool and jacuzzi. All amenities on hand. Very large bathroom, diptique products. Very comfy beds and pillows and slippers and flip flops provided . There are bikes to get around the hotel and of course the buggy will pick you up if you prefer. We would definitely return for sure and look forward to it. Couple of points to note It is on the flight path so planes do go over but we barely noticed it and it wasn’t all the time. You will need to take a taxi into medina etc. They can provide a hotel car or another taxi company. The hotel car is double the price of the other company so may be worth noting. Thankyou to all the staff for making our stay and my birthday so special. All extra touches very much appreciated. 🤗

It was a shame we could only do 1 night but in future we plan to do 3 nights. We most definitely have to come back. We absolutely loved our butler Yassine. What a great guy!! If we come back we will definitely be requesting Yassine. The breakfast was the best we have ever had. The staff were so accommodating. Dinner at the Ling Ling was incredible with an incredible view of the poolside. That pool Villa is the best room we have ever experienced. That was incredible. Wow. Thank you so much Mandarin Oriental. I have told so many friends about how great this trip was.

• 10JoM (10/5): Sublime oasis in Marrakesh - Not quite sure where to start with this review…words like exceptional, incredible, stunning and so so special just don’t do this hotel justice. Yes it is pricey, probably the only con I can think of because everything else just blew us away. A real life oasis. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so special and the service is incomparable. All the staff, everyone, thank you so much ☺️ . Then you have the villas of course that kind of takes your breath away. The hotel gardens, which of course you can’t get a sense of how truly beautiful they are, as you walk towards your villa, all you can smell is jasmine and roses, genuinely, I kid you not. The main pool is stunning, (I’m running out of adjectives) we had it to ourselves pretty much the whole day we sat by it. The spa….my fiancé and I both had the traditional hamman which was the perfect way to kick off our holiday, clean off the London grime and prep our skin for some sun. The food was delicious, our 15 year old son loved Hakasan most, I loved the breakfast, my fiancé loved it all. Last but not least, Oussama, our Butler, was INCREDIBLE, thank you for looking after us and making our holiday so special.
